Nice near-beach medium rise property, clean apartments, large pool, ample parking, very helpful reception staff (graciously modified our arrival date twice!) Our 2-night stay was at the beginning of the low(er) season, so on-premises restaurant and club were closed. Adjacent grocery store open and in-town restaurants just a few minutes away.
Property could use some remodeling as it looks a bit past its prime, which can be compensated by the excellent nightly rate.

Overall the property is good, clean, good value for money. But adding almost 6 euro per person for breakfast is not worth it. When we went 2 years ago breakfast is buffet so you don’t have to wait to be served. Sometimes you will wait for almost 30 mins. Just for a cup of coffee or a glass of juice and bread which if you will not request it will be served cold and a bit hard. But overall it was pretty good stay and the children enjoyed it especially the program every friday and saturday night.

Europa SunBeach Hotel

This hotel was extremely clean and was approx 30 mins from alicante airport. So super easy to organise transfers to and from. The hotel itself was equipped with a pool perfect for all individuals and groups and also a bar nearby which was great for snacks. However, the restaurant at the hotel did not appear to be in use nor did the crazy golf despite being listed online.The location of the hotel is approx 25 minutes by foot to the nearest town and only 5 minutes from the local supermarket which is very handy. However it is important to note that for young families or individuals with health conditions this is quite a walk and so a car/taxi may be more appropriate. One of the only downsides to the hotel were the abrupt nature of some of the front desk staff who struggled with English, this made tasks like towel replacements and enquiries much more difficult. Despite this, there were equally some lovely staff who made our stay extremely enjoyable. Would 100% recommend.

Apartment complex on edge of town

Having seen the reviews on here, and how polar they were, after a bit of an anxious journey out we were pleased with what we got. It's good value for money, but for that you have to accept things like taking rubbish out yourself and deposits for electrical items. The towel change over really wasn't as traumatic as some on here make it feel. And we were travelling with 3 young kids, so we got through them. The place is a little tired in places, but generally speaking it's clean and tidy. Staff are helpful and communicate very well.

Room was clean. Would have been good to have had a sunny balcony. Bed was ok but could have been a bit more comfortable. Staff were polite and friendly. Pool area was good. Cleanliness of stairways could have been better, rubbish was on stairs for whole 8 days we were there.

The hotel is in a good location but is in need of some refurbishment. It is looking very tired. Lovely pool with some new sun beds. Very basic apartments and generally felt grubby. This was the third time of staying here so knew what extras to bring but probably won't return.

Run down facilities . Rude staff and unhelpful receptionist. Most uncomfortable beds ever. Not that clean. And terrible poolside bar. With some improvements could be so much better. As it is I would never recommend it.

Appalling experience as my room was infested with bed bugs. I was bitten completely from top to bottom and when I realised what it was the staff moved me from my room, confiscated all my clothes and luggage etc. to fumigate. I was left with no clothes for 2 days and could not go out then the cream for the bites also meant I could not go in the sun. On top of that the pool which was not completely clear when I arrived became worse by the day and that had to shut until some contractors came and sorted it out. It is a shame as the apartments are well appointed but there is no visible management and very little care on cleaning etc. Wish I had stayed at home in Bournemouth.

Hotel was OK for what we required

We stayed at this hotel while searching for a property to purchase.
The room was more of an apartment with 2 double bedrooms and large living room with kitchen. The place was lovely and clean with comfortable beds, however we only had the sun for the last hour of the day.
The kitchen was not very well equipped so it was difficult to prepare meals but we did manage.
The area outside could do with a good makeover but there where sunbeds to use around the empty pool.

Great stay! Room (2409) up to date and spacious. No hairdryer or kettle in room but reception will supply. Also required wine glasses and extra pillows which were supplied immediately. Reception staff most helpful. I intend to return in 2017 and will ask for my old room. Bought a bread knife to make sandwiches for journey home. Hope it's still there when I return. 2Km from beach

First thing to point out is that the location is on the fringe of guardamar. It's a 20 minute walk to the centre. You can not get taxis for 5 people, only 4. This hotel is noisy it looks out onto a motorway, so whilst the sunsets are beautiful the noise from the traffic is not. Receptionist unhelpful. No maps of the local area or local facilities.I had to ask for a kettle and a toaster on day 2. I had to ask for bedding to be changed and for new towels on day 5. I had to ask for toilet roll. 5 hours later. Not done still waiting. Only when l complained this was done. Note you have to take your own rubbish out. Maids do not enter your room. Swimming pool was dirty but was cleaned towards the end of the holiday. Generally the place is Run down. Staff look unhappy. Not relaxing at all. Stayed August 2016. Never again.

Cheap base to visit guardamar

Great value. Room clean. Reception staff lovely. Only downside is no kettle wine glasses etc if u r self catering but plenty of places to eat nearby anyway. Wok Chinese all u can eat just over the road which is brill. Free parking. Would recommend a car but u can walk into town and to beach but 20 min or so walk.

This is an apartment hotel. The rooms are large and bright,with balconies looking over the pool or the river to the sea.
It has fridge freezer enough dishes and cutlery a micro wave and ceramic hob.
An easy walk into town but a little longer to front and beach.

This apartment/hotel has a nice pool area in a town that has beautiful beaches, the apartment was spacious and clean. Each apartment has a large balcony area. However there are issues that need addressing, poor customer service, lighting in the hallways to the apartment, there is lighting when leaving the lift but none when leaving the apartment, this is not a secure hotel and for me this was a personal safety issue. The place is looking tired and could do with some general maintenance. Tiles missing from parts of the pool, broken plant pots in the pool area and damaged sun loungers. There are kitchen facilities which for me were not fit for purpose. No kettle or coffee makers, no wine glasses, no spatula for the tiny frying pan. The Gym was closed as there was a course in the adjoining room. Restaurant and Spa are closed. The hotel is some distance to the beach, which I knew and was not an issue. There is free wi fi in the public area and laundry facilities in one of the blocks. Parking is free.

Lovely relaxed hotel - not touristy!

A great hotel with a good pool, in a lovely town. Not very touristy, which made for a very relaxing and chilled out holiday! Check in starts at 3pm and not closes at 3pm as stated on the Expedia information we recieved and so we arrived at the hotel at about midday hoping to check straight in, but we had to wait, but it was fine as the hotel were happy to store our luggage and we just sat at the bar and had something to eat and drink, but if we had known we may have got a later flight. So Expedia need to amend their information. A little more evening entertainment, or even just more music for dancing at the bar would be a real benefit to the hotel. The hotel has a gym, for which they have changing rooms, but these are out of use, which is a shame as this would be such an easy and convenient feature that they could offer to hotel guests that have got flights later than the check out time. Tip - brush up on your Spanish before you go as you might need it in this smaller, non-tourist town.

Clean, friendly and convenient!

We needed to stay near Guardamar for a few days. This place is ideal. 5 minutes walk from the town, we could take our little dog. It is easy to walk out onto footpaths / cycle ways by the river. There is a supermarket close by or many bars and restaurants in Guardamar. Rooms are clean and bright, beds firm and comfortable. Very efficient aircon which warmed the place up in no time, as it was cold at night (early March). To our delight, it also had a small gym with a good selection of weight machines. The hotel staff were really friendly & helpful. All in all, perfect for us!

Hotel does not have memory foam matresses, cofee and tea facilities other than a pan, hairdryers. The pool firniture is broken. Toiletries last a day and are not replaceable. No maid service. Take your towels to reception every 2 days to change them. This was very basic and the description is full of incorrect information.

There is no maid service. You have to take your towels down to reception every 2 days , you also have to take your bed linen down every 5 days. Never saw a maid. Half hour away from beach. Not offered pool view even though hotel was at least half empty. Not allowed to the pool till 11.00 am.

Good value for money

A bit far to the beach (20 min walk) but very close to town centre so you can have a nice stroll to seeside. Nice swimming pool in hotel, parking and tapas bar with tapas and beer next to swimming area.Rooms nice, clean and cosy, perfect for family stay and people who like cooking as there is anex kitchen in appartament. Close to the Guardamar fort - must visit place.

Pleasant Contemporary Spanish Apart/Hotel

A last minute week away, lovely Spanish Apartment/hotel. Staff very helpful/nice. Tapas at bar, lovely. 20 minute walk to town, nice restaurants and market. Sadly couldn't get sun bed round pool, so not totally restful. Walk to beach is 20 - 25 minutes along wonderful cycle/walk pathways. Apartment was a spacious 2 bedrooms with view over river and yet more cycle/running/walk ways. 20 mins taxi to Alicante or 10 minute bus ride to Torrevieja. Used washing machine and dryer with ease.

Nice hotel on the outskirts of town

Room good size and clean but no kettle (!) and no room service. Towels and bedding however could be changed at reception. Air con not fabulous but worked to a fashion. At least one lift in our building was often out of service & they were desperately hot and slow.
Free wifi in the main reception and very friendly & helpful staff.
Nice pool with lifeguard, plenty of sun loungers although some seen better days.
Walking time to town centre is a good 15 mins & a further 10 mins to the main beach. Uphill walk inbound which is hard going in high temperatures. A car not essential if you're fit and like walking. Otherwise would recommend having one.
This hotel does what it says on the tin, the staff were great, I'd definitely stay again but only with a car.

Nice modern clean apartments, all South facing, great in the winter (January) able to sit on large balcony in the sun all day.Very friendly helpfull staff. Kitchen is equiped with basics, enough to asemble a meal with 2 hobs and a combi grill/microwave. Car needid to get into the town/sea. Overall a good place to stay if you are independant and want privacy and quiet.

El apartamento en general no estaba mal, no tiene horno, bastante polvo sobre todo en habitación. La cama muy dura, aunque eso va a gustos. El hombre de recepción tuvo un gran detalle con nosotros. Fuimos con nuestro perro. Lo mejor tener un Carrefour Express bajo los apartamentos que abre todos los dias.

Det var meget beskidt og der var hår på gulve og toilet. Madrassens hårdhed var som beton. Sengetæppe var plettet og beskidt. Manglede ting i køkkenskabe. Manglede tæpper til at tage over sig til nat.
( Der var et skema over hvad der skulle være i lejligheden. Den fik vi ikke udleveret, men havde bekendte. Som havde fået den udleveret)

La situation de l hotel est hors alicante centre.l equipement de lappartement est mediocre.pour cuisiner une seule casserole un gros couteaux de boucher pour cuisoner.cest complique quand meme.
Fuite d eau dans le plafond de la salle de bain.des gouttes qui coulent sans cessent.
Les couvres lits et les rudeaux sont gris.ils ne sont jamais laves.il y a meme des brulure de cigarettes dessus.
La televisipn on en parle pas.elle est minuscule et en plus elle ne fonctionne pas.ils nous ont envoye une personne pour regler.mais meme apres son pasdage toujours rien.
Le wifi nest pas dans les chambres.

Buen complejo de apartamentos.

Todo correcto, quizás el sofá del salón un poco demasiado usado. Un buen detalle el pack de limpieza con gel estropajo y bolsas de basura. A una de las camas la sonaba las patas. El complejo se encuentra separado del pueblo y goza de más tranquilidad. El garaje del mismo es el que estaba demasiado oscuro y sucio.

Prima ligging t.o.v.dorp.aan uitvalsweg.grote supermarkt Mas y Mas op loopafstand. Strand is erg ver om te lopen. Huisdieren zijn welkom, maar ik vind 10 euro per fag voor een klein hondje wel erg duur. Hoewel lakens en kussens best fris gewassen waren hebben we zéér slecht geslapen door de zeer harde matrassen. Jammer.

Som utlänning och bokning genom \"Hotels.com\" gör hotellet allt för att du inte ska få någon sol, vare sig på morgon eller kväll. Hotellet var mindre än 50% belagt och \"framsidorna\" var cirka 30 av 140 rum
belagda. Detta är tredje gången samma sak händer på detta hotell och enda orsaken till att vi återkommer är läget i stort, med avstånd till olika begivenheter. Hotellrummet med EN säng för två vuxna (pensionärer) och också lakan att dela på...……..Och det fanns inga andra rum ?????!!!!! Kan under inga omständigheter rekommendera detta hotell till min värsta ovän...……….

Ich war alleine meinen Vater besuchen, bin schon das 3 mal im Europa House sun Beach. Im Arpatemente ist alles da was man braucht und wird nicht gestört, kann sich selber versogen. Nur schade welan nur in der Hotel halle.

Prácticamente abandonado, piscina sucia y mal olor, en la habitación no funcionaba el agua caliente ni la televisión, fuimos para un fin de semana y nos tuvimos que duchar el viernes en otra habitación porque no había nadie de mantenimiento hasta el sábado a las 09:00, que vino y nos lo arreglo y nos cambio la televisión.

Everything was fine, unfortunately the bed was very hard and we woke up with very bad back pain from the first day. Only one of us could sleep on the sleeping couch since there was also a problem with it.

Udmærket rummelig hotellejlighed med balkon. Meget fair priser. Meget ringe morgenmad, men det afhænger formentlig af sæsonen (marts). Kaffen var dog super.

Utnyttjade inte hotellets faciliteter på grund av tidsbrist. Hotellet är lättillgängligt från flygplatsen (Alicante) och känner man till områdena kring Guardamar/Torrevieja så är det bra. Tråkigt att se ungdomar som \"grisar\" ner och ingen kan säga ifrån. En bättre täckning av WiFi så lägenheterna kan
räknas in och en större tv än den lilla 17\" som fanns. Men du får ju vad du betalar för, kanske.......

Das Hotel ist ok für kurze Aufenthalte.

Umgebung ist toll, Strand Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants alles in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Niet mogelijk om drankje te bestellen . Totaal geen voorraad . Slechte zaak dit omdat er meer mensen waren die s,avonds een drankje wilden bestellen .( wijn / bier / sterke drank)

No se como pueden oferetar sitios asi.

La limpieza del apartamaento fatal , telarañas ,vajilla sucia, ofertan spa y no lo hay , quierers tomar un cafe y tostada en la cafeteria a las 11:00 am. y no te sirven tostadas por que estas fuera de hora , si lo vas a pagar , recepcion tienes que buscar a la persona que esta en la cafeteria hablando y comiendo, fatal.

Great hotel had everything you could want! I note with interest people saying that there was no kettle however when you check in you are given a leaflet that explains kettles, toasters etc can be hired at reception for a deposit. The rooms had a fridge freezer ( the freezer is a first for me) cooker, oven, microwave, and all cleaning materials. The hotel is close to all amenities but I had my own car! However there is a Wok Buffett across the road pizzas were being delivered constantly! There was a lovely pool bar serving food but I didn't try it so cannot comment.
The negative for me was the sofa bed! My 6 year grandson could open the patio windows even if I locked them as we were on the 4th floor I was not happy for him to sleep next to them and us be in a bedroom, which ment his mother had to sleep on the sofa bed! omg my grandson would have struggled to sleep on that! It really was unacceptable. If staying again I would ask for 2 bedrooms. And the other niggle is if you want your room cleaning you have to pay for it! To be honest I go on holiday to get away from that! Just a reminder! I didn't think it would bother me!

Nice but some things that you need to know.....

Family room for 4 - the apartment was nice and enough space but the beds were not good (too hard).
Good balcony
No cleaning is included - we had to change the towels every other day at the lobby and every fifth day we need to change the beds and get new sheets at the lobby. We had to ask for toilet roll and we had to take the rubbish out.
You can get coffee machine, kettle, toaster, hair dryer and hand blender at the lobby for 30 Euros which are refundable at chech out
Benches at the pool were poor the first week but the second week - 20 new benches arrived. The pool was good.
The breakfast was not good - only bread, toppings, juice and coffee
Staff quite good and service-oriented at the bar. But at the lobby the staff could the more friendly and smile some times.....
Parking lot was good - inside - under the house
Washing machines (3 Euros for each wash)
Live music 4 evenings at the week (Thursday-Sunday)
Wi-Fi at the lobby

horrible fin de semana

la experiencia ha sido malísima, le quise dar una sorpresa a mi mujer a hijos y fué todo lo contrario, fuimos a pasar un fin de semana solo, y nada más llegar la habitación que nos dieron daba pena, las pelusas colgaban de los pulsadores de la luz, al abrir el sofa cama estaba lleno de migas de comida incluida una araña , la luz del espejo del aseo no iba, en la mampara de baño habian mocos pegados pero no era lo peor, lo peor era ver restos de sangre en el wc y bañera, fuimos a quejarnos y nos cambiaron de habitación y al dia siguiente en la nueva habitación empezo a caer agua del techo como una fuente, tuvimos que avisar y esque el aparato del aire acondicionado estaba obstruido, 2h encerrados en la habitación esperando el arreglo, un desastroso fin de semana. nunca mas volveremos y el precio no fue nada barato para lo que nos encontramos, desastroso

No creo que vuelva

Muy sucio en general y desatendido. La cocina daba pena , tuvimos que fregar todos los utensilios y encima hay lo justo, una sartén, una cacerola, 4 vasos y cuatro platos. No hay ni un mantel, ni cafetera y un solo paño de cocina. Las almohadas finas como papel de fumar y el sofá cama incimodisimo, no hay ni un cojín ni una almohada demás como en otros hoteles. El personal de recepción antipático y encima te piden 50 € de fianza por el apartamento, que me lo tendrían que haber dado ellos a mi por que tuve que fregar el suelo. Pelusas colgando del techo del baño y hormigas, además de churretes por todos los azulejos. Por decir algo bueno la piscina bien y el parking es gratis tanto el de superficie co.o el cubierto

Nice apartment. The quality / price rapport despite being also okay, could, nevertheless, be better, since for this price (even if it's not expensive) we would expect a more comfortable apartment (the worse was the bed, not all comfortable). The hotel is very well located, near a multitude of wonderful Spanish beaches (despite being mainly accessible only by car from the hotel). Most important: be careful with the chinese (wok) restaurants in the area (including in nearby towns), since the food is of very low quality and often contaminated and out-dated.

Zeer goed gevoel overgehouden aan ons verblijf !

Wij hebben een zeer goed gevoel aan ons verblijf overgehouden. Er is 24 uur receptiedienst. Indien er een probleem in het appartement is , dan komt er iemand binnen een kwartier na melding. We hadden een probleem met de druk van het warme water , wat werd opgelost. Twee uur later kwam de technicus nog even vragen of het naar behoren werkte. Een superservice !
