We stayed at this place for a week and wanted to highlight to positive/negative aspects of this hotel and unfortunately the positives do not outweigh the negatives.

Positives:
- Location is nice. Short walk to the beach.
- Lots of restaurants/shops walkable.
- The pool was nice and wasn't too hard to find chairs most of the time.
- We only did the breakfast but it was a decent spread with lots of options though it was basically the same setup for every day.
- Most of the staff was friendly and helpful with the exception of one man who was rude and will be addressed in the negative comments.

Negatives:
- Noise, the front of the room faces restaurants and there is a British pub that does Karaoke and other load events at night so if you have a child sleeping in that part of the room it will be loud. Plan on bringing a sound machine to drown it out.
- The room AC did not work great. It would hover around 78-80 degrees no matter how high you turned the AC on. Also it says on the description that there is a refrigerator but it's really a minibar that barely does anything. We contacted the front desk to complain and the man was very rude and insinuated we were dumb for thinking it would keep drinks cold. Our was room temperature inside so it wasn't working and they never came to fix it after telling them numerous times.
- The parking lot next to it was closed the whole time we were there for a festival that would play loud music most nights till midnight.

Great hotel, location and service.

Just returned from a 10 night stay, what a lovely hotel, great location and views from the room and balcony. Junior suite was perfect for us as a couple, as we can tend to need different environments to sleep, i loved the air conditioned bedroom, where my hubby doesnt like it too cool and like the noise of the tv to help him off to sleep. So he preferred to sleep in the lounge. The pool area and bar are lovely. We didnt eat in the hotel, however was a little frustrated when we tried to go to the Mexican restaurant, but was told, that despite it being near on empty, that we needed to prebook at reception. Needless to say, we didnt go back.

Beautiful sea view, very clean. We had self catering so cannot comment on evening dining, although did have lunch from bar which was of good quality and value. Entertainment not brilliant, didn’t watch every night though. Staff friendly & helpful. Hot water ran out couple of evenings, had to wait a short while for it to start come back on. Overall was a lovely holiday

Great hotel- well worth the visit.

This hotel was outstanding- from the minute we arrived the service and facilities were perfect.
Greeted on arrival and the hotel had left food and water in our room due to a later flight. The room was spacious and comfortable. Cleanliness was great- only little feedback would be to get the cleaners some longer mops for the balconies. It's only a matter of time before one of them drop it over when cleaning.
Food was brilliant and service great. Will be back for sure. One of my fav mini breaks.

Sa Coma is a lovely area. The hotel it’s self, beach and surrounding areas are great. Food was good with a wide selection. What lacked was anything to do within the hotel. No activity’s through the day, no entertainment on an evening.
Overall not bad but next time I’d go to a different hotel.

No sleep basic hotel

The hotel was ‘ok’ there were lots of little niggles for example the fridge in the room was so small you couldn’t get a 2ltr bottle in it without removing all the shelves and it didn’t really keep things cool, I put some fruit in there and it was rotten the next day. The biggest issue was the beds. Main beds in the bed area were ok, the lounge area was the most uncomfortable sofa bed imaginable, which initially I complained to reception about, they told me there was nothing they could do so I went to THB direct and they were changed to ‘proper’ beds… I later found out they were so hard was like sleeping on the floor. Unless you’re all inclusive I wouldn’t stay again, we we’re definitely treated like the poor relation. Drinks were €6 regardless of what you had and the entertainment wasn’t much cop. The hotel has recently been refurbished and they’ve done a good job of the communal areas but the room are very basic, no dressing table (a stool in the bathroom too low to see into the mirror) no cups, but there was a kettle., random microwave. The pool wasn’t that clean, there were always bugs in it and on our first day there was a drowned dragonfly and sat on the edge all day, just left (the size of a small bird). The majority of residents of the hotel were Spanish and it was definitely aimed at them, which is obviously fine in a Spanish country but we tended to (try) and sleep there only SaComa is beautiful and I’d highly recommend the resort, but next time we’d stay elsewhere.

A good hotel!

Hotel was very modern and clean. We had a small problem where a lat was missing from below my daughters' mattress which we reported and was repaired that day. The room was serviced to a high standard each day.

The food was good but a bit limited for vegetarians but the staff did their best to help my veggie daughter.

The staff were always friendly and polite.

We went on the beach each day but if you like the pool you need to get up mad early to reserve a sun bed!

We were HB & were not disappointed by the quality of food- though we did eat out a lot, but that's only because finding great local food is a part of our holiday experience!

Forget about a sun bed, unless you want to engage in the competitive sun bed olympics at 6 in the morning- if we did happen to be up at that time, we had far more fun watching the antics below!!

The entertainment was ok- fit for purpose but not top notch.

Kids club was ok- although our daughter (5) did appear at our room in the 5th floor having lost the group...

Swimming pool was ace, but the real reason to come here is the proximity to the beach - and what a beach it was!

The quality of beds and linen was disappointing for a 4* and really should've been better & there was a lot of noise at night, both from the metal slide near the stage and the bars on the other side, but we slept pretty well despite these things.

Another great thing - a distinct lack of mozzies!!!

Would we go back- possibly! We loved the bar scene in local s'illiot but didn't see much by way of quality hotels. I would look for a bit more luxury- but the situation and value for money of this place will be very tough to beat.

Mallorcan Beach dreams come true.

This is a wonderful hotel/condo. Right on the beach, ever room has fabulous views. The kltchen was great, but hotel needs to supple kitchen with dishwashing soap and pan scrubber/sponge.

We were not on all inclusive but tried both the breakfast and dinner. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast was good.

Daytime staff were wonderful. Every question was answered and explained well and with friendliness. nIght staff was a different story. We needed extra blankets, but, the clerk, did not understand ANY English. He finally got the idea but then brought sheets instead of blankets. Finally he brought blankets but acted angry that i had made the request. The next night i phoned to request a wakeup call. He did not understand wake up call so we didn't get one. Night staff need to know a few hotel English words like blankets and wake up call,

Decent hotel, but too noisy in the evenings.

Hotel is decent enough, if a bit dated. Unfortunately, the management seems to think it's OK to leave the music blaring in the garden until almost midnight every night (not to mention kids' \"entertainment\" programmes start at 9pm!). This makes the rooms too noisy to sleep before midnight as the all face the communal pool/garden. Worse, the back of the rooms are too close either to a noisy pub or a rattling cooling system of the supermarket that shares the same block.

Definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone with pre-teens or expecting a relaxing holiday.

On the plus side, the pools are keep very clean and the beach is just a hop and a skip away and rather nice. Sa Coma is also well placed to pop to nearby towns for sights, beaches, and change of scenery.

Right next to the beach and shops

I loved being in the middle of things, right on the beach, next to the headland nature reserve and shops in the same street. Also right next to the pony hire, horse and cart rides, bus pick up's for the Safari Park, the tourist land train and the Red Bus service which was only 1.85 euros to go to the neighboring resorts of Cala Bona, Cala Millor and S'Illiot, although you can walk easily to S'Illiot and it's a lovely promenade walk, or you can hire the scooters and mini quad bikes which were great fun and there are special cycle lanes in all resorts. It was also the same price on the bus to the Caves or Drach through Porto Cristo and it only took 10 minutes. Buses are regular, the hotel gave me a time table and were very helpful. There is a walk to a castle on the headland with a cafe when you get there, lovely views, but it was very hot walking, save it until the evening. I also loved the Sa Coma beach, lovely sand and waves just right for jumping. Cala Millor was more rocky, Cala Bona was picturesque. The snack bar had slush on tap which was great for all inclusive, the fast food was good. Rooms were nice. Not much going on entertainment wise, but we were out exploring every night anyway.

Lovely hotel, but noisy at night

Stayed here for 7 nights. Lovely hotel right beside the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was a good size with a great view out over the pool and of the beach and sea. The beach is only a minutes walk from the hotel, as is the trail to a small castle to the left of the beach...

The room's kitchen was quite small and cramped for cooking (two hobs and not a lot of space), There wasn't a toaster when we first arrived, but when we asked at reception one was provided free of charge.

Whilst offering free wifi we found that it had a very poor connection in the room unless you were sat on the balcony (Don't even try to connect in the bedroom!). It also had a habit of dropping out and not being able to reconnect for a few minutes.

The only major negative is the noise at night from the \"Britannia Pub\" across the street. Every night seems to be karaoke night until around half Midnight.. Even with the windows closed, it sounded like we were right outside the pub. Don't expect any early nights without a good pair of earplugs... Not really a fault with the hotel per say but worth noting.

Overall we were happy with our stay here and would recommend it to others :)

Good location,helpful staffs.Went with my wife and teenage children and all were happy with the service and rooms.Although the pub across was noisy with music till midnight,it did not bother us.I would recommend to the hotel to instal triple glazing as they are small windows in the bedrooms to keep off the noise.I am sure in summer (we went last week of sept)it must be very noisy.
Recommendation to hotel to provide queen size or king size beds for couples as presently providing two singles beds which are uncomfortable for couples.
My thanks to the manager and staffs for leaving a surprise (bottle of drink)when I returned to our bedroom after a day's trip on my 60th Birthday
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location.

Warm welcome and easy to find rooms, on first impressions it seems really nice. Only after first night that you see what's missing or could be better. A kettle would be helpful, no cloth or dish clean products available. The beds were very uncomfortable and the blankets had stains. However the A/C was the quietest one I've come across. Also note the doors out to the balcony only open from the inside, so if your outside and your little darling inside shuts your door then you are locked out. It was a good hotel and your holiday is what you make it. I would say 3 star not 4.

VERY NOISY!

Overall the hotel could be very nice, the food is great, rooms are spacious and clean but we didn't sleep for the whole holiday! Every room backs onto the Brittania bar which is open until gone 3am and you can hear every word to every song, every conversation when people are outside smoking or leaving. We had read a couple of reports on the noise but also a lot of positive remarks so decided to book it in the hope we could move rooms if it got too bad but the staff are so unhelpful and are so used to people complaining they just say \"nothing we can do and no point in moving, each room is the same, it was your choice to come here\" so basically deal with it!! I would not go back to this hotel or another THB as customer service was terrible and it ruined the holiday, need another holiday for a rest now we felt like we were in the middle of Magaluf not the quiet family resort of Sa Coma

Hotel is good, staff friendly. We stayed for 4 nights on the 2nd floor. View was amazing. Rooms clean and cleaning staff very good. Asked for a microwave and got one straight away. Room was hot in the day time and air conditioning was not very good. They wanted to charge us 25 euros for a 2 o'clock check out which seemed extremely unreasonable, especially as the hotel was half empty.

Fantastic value for money, very child friendly

We arrived May 28th 2013. 2 adults & 2 children (7 & 4). Emailed ahead to request a high floor, away from the Britannia pub noise. They remembered us when we arrived and had put us in room 602 - 6th floor, second from the end (nearest Burger King and the horses). Reception staff were always helpful to us, supplying extra pillows and a blanket for our little one at 10pm! Our appartment was spotlessly clean and had a gorgeous view of the nature reserve, sea, beach, horses (carpark & Burger King sign, lol!) and pool. The kitchenette was a bit tired and could do with refurbishing. We took our own travel kettle. The TV was a large flat screen, with lots of English channels, inc CBeebies, BBC, ITV... Shower over bath - we bathed the children as the shower kept getting far too hot without warning. There is a really good SOFT PLAY AREA and INDOOR PLAY AREA where my children (4&7) played out of the hot sun and still had fun with their friends, whilst I sunbathed right outside the door. Pool bar and snacks 5 steps from the pool, meant I never had to take my eyes off the children. The life guards were brill and one saved a boy who got out of his depth (steep shelf after the steps), whilst we were there. Fabio & his colleague played waterpolo, ping pong, boules, football, ball games... and generally worked hard to keep all the children entertained. We went self catering - lots of child friendly places near by.

Great Location

I read lots of reviews of this hotel before booking. General opinion was a basic hotel in a great location but the food was terrible. So we booked accommodation only - it solved the problem!
Location was excellent, next to the beach, surrounded by food, bars and holiday shops
The apartment was adequate, very clean. The staff were friendly. The pool area was attractive and well kept.
An ideal place for a reasonably priced family holiday.

Bel hôtel très bien situé. Commerces juste en bas. Peu de monde même fin août. La plage a moins d’une minute. Piscine agréable. Belle chambre vue mer (dommage pour le panneau BURGER KING…). Calme.
Personnel agréable et serviable.
Demi pension assez variée sur 6 jours.
Nous recommandons avec ou sans enfant!!!

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Beim Essen war etwas zu finden, aber im Vergleich geringe Auswahl. Die Getränke waren sehr teuer und haben nicht geschmeckt (Sangria). Leider sind die Leistungen der HP Verpflegung sehr teuer und nicht gut genug.

Great hotel for our 6 nights stay in Sa Coma.
We arrived before 1 pm and we could have a room straight away instead of just dropping the bags in the luggage area!Very friendly and helpful ladies at the reception ( Check in Sunday ) Staff at the Restaurant was friendly and very attentive .Hotel is nice, room was clean and big enough, space for luggage, tea/coffee offered as complimentary ( it would be nice if it would have been everyday offered) Buffet was great, Breakfast and Dinner(we had halfboard), it was a lovely buffet where I could get a vareity of food.Pool although not so huge, but good enough, but the Beach was really infront of the Hotel.
The rooms were very clean,the cleaning ladies are really doing it well.
Over all the Hotel is clean ,nice and a family friendly Hotel.
Well be coming in October again this year!

Wir hatten für 8 Nächte ein Familienzimmer in der obersten Etage. Die Zimmer wurden jeden Tag gründlich gereinigt. Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, der wirklich schöne Strand ist nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.

Das Personal ist bemüht und stets freundlich.

Negativ:
Das Essen, es gibt zwar morgens und abends eine große Auswahl aber die Qualität der Speisen ist nicht sehr gut, es hat nichts wirklich geschmeckt. Man wird zwar satt aber einen Genuss darf man nicht erwarten. Die Desserts kann man vergessen, jeden Abend nach nichts schmeckende Sahneschnittchen und Obst.

Eine sauberen Teller zu finden ist wie im Lotto zu gewinnen, fast unmöglich.

Und es sind zu wenig Schirme am Pool vorhanden, liegen gab es hingegen genug.

L’année passé j’ai réservé cet hôtel pour la même date et les mêmes prestations. J’ai payé moins cher sur un autre prestataire et avons reçu une chambre égal mais avec une belle vue. Cette année la vue n’était pas top. Dommage 😥

THB Sa Coma Platja ist ein wundervolles Hotel mit Bestlage direkt am Strand bei dem keine Wünsche offen bleiben. Die Suite im obersten Stock bietet einen fantastisches Ausblick. Das Hotel ist ruhig, sehr sauber und sehr freundliches Personal. Der Pool ist hervorragend und die Nähe zum Strand optimal. Erholung pur und sehr zu empfehlen.

Positivt opphold på THB Sa Coma Platja.

Positivt overasket over hotellet. God rengjøring i hotellet, bra rom og fasiliteter, god mat både i frokost og basseng-restaurant og hyggelig personale. Nært diverse restauranter og butikker, nær fin strand. Behagelig og rolig atmosfære også på bassengområdet til hotellet. Eneste minus var at det solsengene kunne vært spylt bedre etter at det hadde vært sandstorm og de var dekket av støv.

Ich war jetzt innerhalb von zwei Monaten das zweite Mal in diesem Hotel. Unschlagbar ist die Lage mit guten kostenfreien Parkmöglichkeiten. Die Mitarbeiter im Empfang, die mich wiedererkannt haben, waren sehr freundlich, wie das restliche Personal. Die Suiten sind geräumig und das Bad enthält alles was man braucht. Auch der Blick aufs Meer ist grandios. Die Mahlzeiten, die in Buffetform angeboten werden, sind reichlich in der Auswahl. Ich komme garantiert wieder.

Vom Check-In bis zum Checkout super freundliches Personal. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und die Zimmerreinigung sehr gründlich. Das Essen, vom Frühstück übers Mittagessen bis zum Abendessen sehr vielfältig von der Speisenauswahl, das Showcooking ist ein Erlebnis und sowohl Qualität als auch Quantität des Essens sind hervorragend. Der Strand ist in zwei Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Der einzige Wermutstropfen, für das das Hotel aber nichts kann, ist das Britannia Pub auf der anderen Straßenseite mit lauter Musik und lauten Gästen bis in die Nacht. Ich fahre definitiv wieder hin.

Prachtige ligging en hele mooie nette suites. Personeel vriendelijk. Schoonmaak iedere dag. Eten ruime keuze. In het hotel bijna geen animatie. Vind dit een minpunt voor zo'n mooi en uitstekende ligging van dit hotel aan het strand. Omgeving ook niet veel te doen. Niet geschikt voor jeugd om feest te vieren/disco.

Fint hotel - super beliggende tæt på en meget dejlig strand. Stille, men fint byliv - ikke for turistet. Havde bestilt med morgenmad - var dog ikke mega imponeret over denne.

Total lækkert hotel lige ned til stranden

Dejligt hotel nær strand. Perfekt udsigt fra 7 etage ud over hele stranden. God mad, sødt og venligt personale. Hele hotellet er nyrenoveret. Det var 3.gang vi boede der, og kommer igen til næste år. Den eneste ulempe er at man skal stå tidligt op og ligge sit håndklæde på liggestolene ved poolen, hvis man vil nå at have en...

Hotel in ottima posizione per una vacanza in libertà. Qualche consiglio per migliorare i servizi offerti. Nelle camere con vista sul mare mozzafiato, lascia a desiderare il letto (reti e materassi) non all'altezza di un quattro stelle.

Schöne große Zimmer mit Balkon zum Meer

Das Zimmer war in einem sehr guten Zustand und schön groß geschnitten durch einen Vorraum mit Sofa, Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank. Der Balkon ist ebenfalls großzügig mit reichlich Platz.
Der Ort hat mir allerdings nicht so gut gefallen. Für unseren Geschmack keine guten Restaurants..
Im Hotel und im Ort sind viele Briten, die meisten mit all inclusive- was sie auch gern ausnutzen.
Das Frühstück war leider auch nicht sehr ansprechend. Der Raum voll und sehr laut. Das Essen leider von keiner guten Qualität, Kaffee nicht gut (haben einen relativ hohen Anspruch) lediglich das Obst war lecker.
Nichtsdestotrotz ein schöner Urlaub!

THB Sa Coma peggiorato

Sa coma è molto bella, la struttura del thb è rinnovata ma la ristrutturazione ha penalizzato l 'aparthotel trasformandolo in un hotel. Il ristorante è scadente sia nella colazione sia nel pranzo sia nella cena.
È frequentato solo da inglesi e tedeschi e pochi spagnoli. C'è poco personale che serve, che pulisce o in reception il personale è visibilmente stanco, forse per i troppi turni, ma si vede che fa il massimo. Il management non ha fatto cambiare l 'acqua alla piscina in una settimana di nostro soggiorno. Era sporca, torbida e la gente ci mangiava mentre faceva il bagno, nessuno del personale ha corretto questo cattivo comportamento per non parlare dei gonfiabili che occupavano tutto lo spazio in acqua. Insomma sa coma è bella ma l hotel deve essere rivisto nella gestione.
