There was only one electrical outlet in the room. It was very filthy: toilet paper on the bathroom floor, many chunks of toothpaste on the sink, brown liquid patches on the counter, cigarette burns on the blankets, smelled musty and the pillows were old and worn out.

The location is great and 5 to 6 blocks away from the plaza. There is a cinema behind the hotel and many local restaurants within a block. The hotel is old and the rooms need an upgrade. This hotel does not have an elevator and there is a pub nearby that does not allow you to rest.

Very pleasing

It is for an adventurer who just needs a place to sleep for the night. Everything is good, except: 1. Pillows are too hard, so bring your own or ask for a another. 2. Like other reviews, the walls are then, so not good for a light sleeper. 3. T.v. not easy to use. Everything else is an A+!! Breakfast was included with this great deal. Only 2 blocks away from the historic centre.

Hotel with a great location centrally located. Historic charm within the city. Parking garage is just down the same street at the next block. Plenty of food ,fun and entertainment. Just off the main street but quiet enough with some echos in the hallway.

Filthy property . There wasn't water to shower or flush and when there was , it was black. Toilet was blocked. All hallways smelled like urine and staff completely unprofessional and incompetent. This hotel shouldn't be advertised . It's an embarrassment. Onviously we left immediately and bookee another hotel

Roaches in the hotel

I entered the room and started to unpack my luggage. Five minutes into my stay, a big roach came crawling from under the bed. I packed back my belongings and run out of the room. The hotel attendant refused to refund the money I had paid for my reservation. I will not recommend this place at all.

Overall its ok. Its not at the main plaza like advertised. Bed had hairs in and on it. No shower towels in the room, only upon request. Breakfast was good. Coffee was great.

Fun fact... I walked around the area and got lost. I asked some of the locals and they didn't even know of the hotel nor street... Crazy. Keep a compass and use it while your there.

Well situated.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Clean and close to centro. But the breakfast is a big lie... The first morning I went down at 10:15 and they told me that there was no more coffee. The eggs were cold and not eatable.
The next day, there was no eggs... instant coffee and no bread!!!

The poor guy who served us had to get my nasty comments about their breakfast. They should be told about advertising breakfast included... if they cannot supply it.

Close to everything, but lacking in some respects.

The hotel is close to everything and the staff are friendly, what was terrific. I was there in winter and it was freezing in the hotel. I don't think they actually have heating. The internet connection blinked on and off continually. 'Breakfast' was OK. However, for the price it is excellent and the location is truly fantastic, so depending upon what your needs are.....

Room was more than I expected. It was very clean, had a nice balcony with a beautiful view, and came with towels.
Location is great.
Desk staff was not too helpful, but they were friendly.
Free coffee is undrinkable, OJ is powdered drink mix and breakfast is cereal and milk.
Overall, the stay was pleasant, but we ate breakfast elsewhere.

It is a cheap hotel at a cheap price. As soon as I walked into my room, I turned around and checked out. The room, tv and restroom are very small. Also, the location of the hotel is known as \"La Zona Rosa\" where special \"ladies\" come out at night. Definitely not a family hotel but if you are single and just want to sleep at the cheapest price then this is the hotel

Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. BUT...

The biggest downfalls are street noise and noise from the neighbouring karaoke bar and discos. The continental breakfasts are also forgettable -- \"orange juice\" that is actually Tang or an equivalent, industrial white-bread toast, etc.. Bring one of those 4\" rubber disks to block the shower drain, or be prepared to enjoy the perfume of sewer gas regularly burping from the plumbing. It's a shame, because the owners are clearly trying to upgrade the place (very noticeable improvements since I stayed here 2 years ago), but I won't stay here again. Better hotels in the budget category are available in downtown Morelia.

Good hotel if you don't want to spend much

If you are a light sleeper don't stay here. There was a decent amount of noise from the hallway and/or outside from about 8am until 1am each day. Also, they had no record of me purchasing the hotel through expedia, so be prepared when you get there. No one speaks English, so if you can't speak Spanish then you may have some trouble. The hotel as a whole was fairly clean and the area seemed pretty safe. Although there were some evening ladies hanging out on the corner across the street. If you want an inexpensive hotel then this is your place.

Hotela Plaza Morelia

I found the hotel Morelia Plaza, did their best to satisfy the needs of their customers. The rooms were below average but were kept very clean, which is definitely important.
Their continental breakfast was poor as it did not offer a variety further than doughnuts, and corn cereal.
The location was good as it is close to amenities and the downtown area.
I did enjoy my stay there and yes, I would recommend it to friends. But there are other hotels in the vicinity that are a better value for your dollar.

Perfectly Adequate

While is there is no single exceptional quality of the hotel, the consistent above-average quality of the hotel is exceptional itself.

The hotel is located conveniently, the room was clean and comfortable, the wifi works well. There is nothing to complain about.

That being said, our room was small, there were only two small lights in the room, and the bathroom was very small.

It's not a luxury hotel, it is a fantastic value hotel.

Miré algunos comentarios que hablan del ruido, y es verdad, en general el centro de Morelia parece algo abrumador y si el cuarto da a la puerta, puede ser un inconveniente. El hotel está una muy buena ubicación, cerca del mercado y de la catedral. Ideal si requieren de estacionamiento.
El edificio es antiguo pero bien cuidado. Ofrecen un desayuno de chilaquiles o huevos al gusto y por $30 más unos hot cakes.
El pesonal es amable.

Estoy molesto y decepcionado de ese Hotel

Muy mal, me robaron mi chamarra,
llegue al Hotel y me dieron la habitacion 108, salí a realizar un paseo, regrese por la noche y ya no encontre una de mis chamarras que habia dejado dentro de la habitación, la deje cerrada y deje las llaves en la recepción, trate el tema con personal de recepción y no me resolvieron nada, es más que evidente y claro que personal del hotel me robo la chamarra, que triste y lamentable por los que con cariño vamos a visitar morelia, ya no se puede ni confiar en donde te Hospedas.

No me respetaron la reserva ahi en el hotel, porque sobrevendieron y me mandaron a otro y su molestia fue que tuvieron que pagar una diferencia, ya que mi reserva con ellos era una habitacion con dos camas y me estaban dando una habitacion con una sola cama ya que en el hotel Qualitel centro al cual fue que nos mandaron no tenia habitacion con dos camas y tuvieron que darnos dos habitaciones con una cama, lo cual ocasiono la molestia del dueño del hotel plaza morelia Alberto Aguilar por que tuvo que pagar la diferencia

El portal ofrece una cosa y la realidad es otra

Es incomodo que en portal te ofrece cama King side y al llegar al hotel solo tienen matrimonial, estacionamiento con horarios limitados, la terminal de tarjetas de credito sin operar...... estoy decepcionado de HOTELS.COM.

Las instalaciones no están agradables, el cuarto se inunda cuando te bañas porque ni la cortina detiene el agua. Las puertas de los baños no pueden abrir bien por el espacio tan pequeño. Las almohadas son horribles, las cobijas están rotas. Todo se escucha en las habitaciones, las ventanas no cierran bien, parece que el ruido de la cocina está a un lado, se escucha de la recepción, a partir de las 6 de la mañana es imposible seguir durmiendo.

La habitación estaba sucia, tanto las cobijas como las toallas estas a su vez rotas, con agujeros, más desgastadas que nada. Y ni que decir del cuarto de baño.

Estancia en Hotel Plaza Morelia

Si solo vas de negocios es una buena opción, ya que el hotel aunque no es de lujo cuenta con lo necesario para estar cómodo. El estacionamiento se encuentra a una cuadra del hotel y es muy seguro, la desventaja tal vez sería que cierra a las 10 pm y abre a las 7am

Demasiado ruido

El hotel se encuentra en contra esquina de bares que no permiten dormir hasta altas horas de la madrugada. Por otro lado, el hecho de que la regadera no tenga cancel, o un borde que impida que se desborde el agua, lo hace muy incómodo para el aseo personal. El desayuno muy limitado en opciones.

El hotel esta bien, algo viejo pero es de esperarse por la zona, la gran ventaja que tiene es que esta muy centrico, mucho que ver y hacer alrededor, pero por lo mismo si es algo ruidoso. El desayuno que brinda el restaurante es excelente, incluyendo el cafe.

Cuando llegue la recepcionista que estaba en ese momento ni me volteó a ver sólo me pregunto mi nombre, me saludó y me dio a llenar la hoja como si ya quisiera que me fuera, pero el demás personal muy bueno muy atentos, dice que desayuno gratis y si me dieron desayuno pero fue casi nada igual tuve que comprar más saliendo de allí, digo es mejor que nada pero aparte de que nada más te dan 2 opciones de desayuno ni te lo llenan bien, habitaciones muy limpias bonitas y en lo personal la mía me encantó que estába con ventana hacia la calle, pero la puerta del baño estaba rota igual no fue tan malo ya que yo me quedé sola allí y no fue tan incómodo pero deberían de arreglarla para futuros huéspedes,
