6 days of nice stay

Very good apartment hotel. Appartments over the swimming pool with sea view are nice and roomy. Very quiet at night, no noise, we even slept with windows open.
Breakfast buffet offers a large choice and is permanently reffilled.

This was a large hotel in a resort town. The room was a bit small for our family of 4, but we basically just slept there. We were out and about during the day. The staff was very helpful. Although there was street parking, we were able to find parking right next to the hotel.

We went out of season, the hotel room was clean. there were 4 adults in our group 2 single comfy beds and 2 sofa beds. Overall the hotel is need of modernisation.
We arrived at 12pm and checked in straightaway.

The staff were lovely and really helpful. Rooms were clean and well thought out. If you like breakfast it's a huge buffet, has everything and it will set you up for the day. The pool is great, clean, gets sun all day. Beach is really close and clean. Excellent value for money, can't recommend this enough.

Hotel is close to the beach. Staff are friendly.

The room are sadly looking very worn and out of date. Such a pity when you have a balcony and good views of the sea. The hotel apartments could do with @ thorough and modern update. Overalll we love staying here because of the location.

We had a lovely stay here. We were self catering so can't comment on the food. As we were the only English people we felt quite segregated as all the entertainment was conducted in German.
Our room was lovely with a nice view and beds were quite comfy.
A few bad points the shower was very poor, the toilet kept breaking and our sheets were not changed for our full week's stay.
We would return however as it offered good value for money.

Beachfront on quiet side of Cala Millor.

Rooms are spacious with little kitchens that meet your needs and well positioned balconies. We arrived and everything was ready, including our room requests. The staff is efficient and fluent in many languages. We spent a lot of time at the beach, which is right in front of the hotel - perfect location on Cala Millor as it gets really noisy and busy further down the beach towards the centre of town. We chose to spend our days at the beach, but there is a pool at the hotel mainly filled with children. We were on the 6th floor, nice partial view of the ocean. Room had good air conditioning and wi-fi. The only full views of the ocean are the rooms facing the beach, the majority of rooms are on the sides of the hotel.

Disappointing Hotel

Hotel was in a good location next to beach, we booked it thinking its 4 stars would make it better than the usual hotel stays but on arrival we were very disappointed with our room which although was a sea view it was only on the 2nd floor & on the corner so didn't have a very good view & we were overlooked by next doors balcony! The room was very basic & was a disabled shower room although we couldn't actually slide the bathroom door closed as it was so heavy & there was a shower chair attached to the wall of the shower so when the shower was used the water hit the chair & soaked the whole bathroom, we found it very noisy from the entertainment in the next hotel but the worst thing was the pool! The hotel policy was that no sun beds should not be reserved but by 7.45 people were out at the pool reserving the sun beds with their towels & by 8-8.30am there were no sun beds to be had! On one occasion we actually managed to get a sun bed & both ways either side of us there were towels on 7 beds in all & these people did not turn up to the beds until 11.30am! It was a nightmare & so we didn't bother again! I would definitely not rate this hotel as 4 stars!

Nice, clean hotel - helpful staff and great food

We had a few maintenance problems shortly after our arrival, but they were addressed and taken care of immediately. There was an enormous palm tree blocking our sea view, but we asked to be moved and the hotel staff took care of that as soon as possible (we arrived Wed eve and they moved us Fri morning). The view is spectacular and there are many nice amenities at this hotel, to include the spa and the indoor and outdoor pools. This hotel is frequented by primarily German tourists and few British. I believe we were the only Americans during our stay - I wouldn't say this is a problem, but the German tourists were not generally friendly and stared us down like aliens during our breakfast meals. The hotel staff are fluent in Spanish, German, and English and were wonderful about translating and giving information on transportation, dining and sightseeing. We only dined at the hotel for breakfast, and the food was wonderful and plentiful - well worth the upcharge added to the room rate. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Lastly, there was an entertainment program for children that commenced nightly in the room that is a bar/lounge and spilled over into the lobby. There was loud music and singing by children and the bar could not be accessed during this period. Not a problem for us, but if you are on vacation without children and prefer an adults-only setting, this is not the place for you.

This is a nice hotel right at the beach, and at the end of the beach, which means there are nice walks up the coast directly outside. We were there in April, when it was too cool to swim, so can't comment on that. The pool looked nice. The food is great and the common areas have been upgraded well. I'm afraid I can't say the same for the rooms. The hotel is an older one that has been upgraded, but it was not done well in the rooms. They are nicely laid out, with a separate bedroom. But the walls are very thin, so you hear neighbours very well all the time. The bathroom is my main complaint. Leaky shower, basin that has been repaired around the edges with grout that is badly peeling, toilet flush that didn't work half the time ... not to mention missing things that should be in a 4-star hotel, such as tissues! The mattresses also need replacing. So a mixed review.

Very disappointed with our stay. We came here with half board reserved booked through hotels.com the rate was good for 10 days and the reviews are excellent. The rooms were very small, extremely old fashioned and smelled like smoke. I informed the very nice desk lady who promptly switched us to an adjacent room which did not smell of smoke.

The beach is however directly behind the hotel.

Dinner was a good clean healthy buffet and the waiters nice. However when it was time to sleep we realized the mattresses were about as good of quality as an air mattress which makes you feel you're falling off from all sides. The double bed was actually two singles not connected to each other so you continuously have to deal with the separating gap between the two. The sheets smelled of dust, presumably because of the low season. Needless o say, none of us were able to get any relaxing or comfortable sleep.

I asked if they can switch our mattresses but was informed all were the same.

I knew we could don't enjoy the next two nights in the hotel as a vacation for our one nice break after working so long in the year. I then spent four-five hours throughout the night early morning on the phone with hotels.com to see what they could do about our reservation to either allow us to change hotels or get a refund to go somewhere else. Neither hotels.com nor the hotel reservation people were willing to do anything for us due to the non refundable rates which were booked.

Good hotel with great staff

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was out of season but there's plenty of places to visit and a nice beach. The staff here were impeccable, the service was great, our little girl got a lot of attention from the staff for which she enjoyed and the indoor pool was great most of the time, the only down side of the pool was an old German that would walk from the sauna to the showers naked, and even after he was told by the staff he still did it. But I can't blame this on the hotel.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, we had an apartment that was so well equipped with everything you could possibly need, very good in all ways, location, views, room/apartment cleanliness, food, staff, I had a facial and back massage and as a beauty salon owner I was very pleased and a very nice lady, treat yourself you wont be disappointed.

Great Hotel

Excellent Hotel in a great location. Room was very comfortable with plenty of space. Views from the balcony were superb. Even though the majority of guests are German the staff speak good English and are very friendly and helpful. Entertainment is provided in the sister Hotel next door - Hippocampo Playa which has a very large bar/lounge. Drinks are a little bit expensive if you want something other than the local beer.

a four star service but only three star facilities

We went to the hotel hoping our nine year old would havechildren to play with and yes there where children there but as we where the only English couple with a child there wasn't any other children with the same language which was disappointing. The staff are wonderful and we feel they make the most of the facilities which wd feel where only three star and most define not a four star. The food was plentiful but not aimed any other client's other than our German friends. In all honesty we felt out numbered and did miss having a friendly chat with other English speaking families.

The hotel was very nice and in a nice part of Cala Millor close to lots of lovely walks over ther headland. The food was good the only fault maybe was the plates weren't hot for the hot food. The room was nice but as it was winter and dark nights it would have been nice to have some english programs on the TV and not just news.

El hotel ha estado genial, las instalaciones y el servicio.
Lo que me ha llamado la atención es que es un hotel con spa pero todos los servicios de spa para usarlos había que pagar. Solo era gratuito la piscina.
No me había ocurrido nunca que en ningún sitio con spa tuviera que pagar por usar la sauna o el jacuzzi.
Pero todo lo demás genial

Das Hotel an sich ist ok, schon erwas älter, aber die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich. Was allerdings völlig inakzeptabel ist, ist die Lautstärke der Animation ( jeden Abend mindestens bis 22:00) und noch viel schlimmer, die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer. Man lebt praktisch in einer WG mit sämtlichen umliegenden Zimmern, hört jedes einzelne Wort und hat erst die Möglichkeit eines ungestörten Schlafes wenn alle ringsum das auch möchten. Das fanden wir sehr erholungseinschränkend und daher können wir das Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Das Frühstück war annehmbar, das Abendbuffett leider durchgehend nicht genießbar. Schade, denn die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption und auch alle anderen waren sehr freundlich und ehrlich bemüht.

Un hotel muy acogedor y muy familiar. El personal muy amable y atento. He notado un poco de falta de limpieza de la habitación. Hemos estado alojados en aparthotel durante 4 días. En estos 4 días no sé ha limpiado el Baño ni la Cocina, ni la mesa de la terraza. No había \"bayeta\" en la Cocina ni jabón para fregar los utensilios. Creo que la limpieza se limitaba a hacer las camas, y por lo que ví un día, pasar la aspiradora por el suelo

Nice hotel with great location!

This was a very nice hotel with friendly staff. The location was really great, the beach was right by the hotel and the main restaurant areas was a 10 min walk away (nice walk by the beach). But there were also some restaurants even closer then that. The hotel décor was a bit outdated but clean. Beds were comfortable. The outdoor pool was quite small (smaller then it looks in the pictures) but nice anyway. Since the beach is that close you can easily vary between pool and beach during the day.

On the negative side...
There are mainly German visitors at this hotel so even if we are from Sweden, the staff continued to speak German with us during the week...

But, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want beach, pool and a relaxing time. I had my birthday during the stay, and the hotel put a bottle of wine and a congratulation card in the room that day. REALLY nice. :-)

No way near 4 stars!

This is absolutely not a 4 star hotel! Everything is very worn out, the rooms smells old and the furniture and kitchen area needs replacement. We had to change room twice during our stay due to water damage and living next to the garbage bins. Staff was great and understanding and breakfast very good. Pool area over crowded with lots of families 'occupying' sun beds from very early morning

Wir waren während der Corona-Zeit im Hotel. Alles war sehr sauber und gut strukturiert. Hygieneregeln wurden sorgfältig eingehalten.

Die Zimmer sind nicht mehr die Neusten, für uns hat es aber gepasst.
Pool ist relativ klein, jedoch waren immer grnügend Liegen vorhanden.

Ideal für junge Familien mit kleinen Kindern

Super nettes Personal. Unser Appartement war geräumig und sauber. Leider konnte man keine grosse Flaschen in den Kühlschrank stellen da die Halterung defekt war. Bei den Herdplatten hat nur eine funktioniert. Wenn man das Abendbuffet geniessen möchte, sollte man unbedingt vor 20.00 Uhr im Speisesaal sein. Nach 20.15 Uhr werden die Speisen nicht mehr aufgefüllt und man muss sich mit den Resten begnügen. Schade, zumal ein Abendessen stolze 23 Euro pro Person kostet.

ruim en net appartement. goede bedden ook de slaapbanken van de kids warem comfortabel.
elke dag schoonmaak en als je nog in je appartement was kwamen ze later terug om alsnog schoon te maken.
klantvriendelijk, super uitzicht(zijzeezicht).
appartement lag aan de kant van een ander complex waar ze entertainment heden maar dat was tot uiterlijk 11:00 en daarna was het stil en ook niet elke avond.
We komen hier zeker terug en ook voor het heerlijke strand en de temperatuur.

Renhold og personalet er fantastisk

Renholdet var upåklagelig. Fantastisk vennlige og blide ansatte. Både i resepsjon og renholdspersonalet. Treningsrommet er utdatert og kunne ikke brukes (men fint område rett utenfor å trene før solen ble for sterk. Fikk upåklagelig hjelp fra Maria og Fran i resepsjonen da vi hadde et uhell ved opphenting/avreise, og transporten uteble. De ringte og stod på helt til alt var i orden, og var snille og hjelpsomme. Stranden like utenfor døra var også flott og ren.

Super dejligt hotel. God standard og venligt personale. Ligger perfekt lige ned til stranden og i den rolige ende - så der er fred og ro. Kun 5 min gang til gågaden og et stort udvalg af spisesteder. Der er dog mange tyskere og personale er bedre til tysk end engelsk

Nettes, aber tatsächlich etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Studios sind funktionell ausgestattet, selbst mit 4 Personen groß genug. Einrichtung könnte überholt werden, aber sonst ok. Küchenzeile, Fliesen und Geschirr waren leider etwas schmutzig, Rest sauber. Jedes Zimmer hat Meerblick und relativ großen Balkon. Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen wie Lobby und Speiseräume sehr sauber. Personal an Rezeption und im Speiseraum unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend!! Frühstück kann man kaum beschreiben, denn es gab einfach ALLES. Appetitlich angerichtet, wirklich lecker! Innenpool sehr klein, zu Abendessenzeiten aber schön leer - sonst einfach zuviel Gekreische. Außenanlagen wirken sehr gepflegt. Direkt dahinter der Strand und Naturschutzgebiet. Parkplätze rund um da Hotel.Was man auf den Fotos nicht sieht, das Hotel hat tatsächlich eine seitliche Rückseite. Dort hat man auch Meerblick, allerdings auch volles Panorama auf die Showbühne des Nachbarhotels - könnte mir vorstellen in der Hochsaison ist das nicht unbedingt toll. Ansonsten aber schon zu empfehlen ! Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage!

Die Studios sind geräumig , Bad in gutem Zustand, schöner Meerblick, sehr gutes Essen . Nicht so gut : Dauerhaftes Rauschen ( Lüftung?) , speisesaal recht unruhig, vorallem wei die Stühle sehr schwer sind und so ständiges Rücken einfach laut ist .

Indoorpool viel zu klein. Schwimmen selbst in der Nachsaison gar nicht möglich da viel zu viele Personen im Pool. Kinder sind trotz Verbotschild vom Beckenrand und von der Fensterbank in den Pool gesprungen das man Angst haben musste meinen Kindern springt jemand auf den Rücken. Appartements sehr schön aber leider viel zu hellhörig.

Familiäres Hotel mit direkter Strandlage

Wir waren jetzt das 2. Mal in diesem Hotel, da es uns hier so gut gefällt. Das Hotel ist nicht so riesig und hat dadurch einen familiären Charakter. Die Appartements verfügen alle über einen Meerblick und sind standardmäßig eingerichtet - allerdings schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber in einem sehr sauberen Zustand. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und äußerst zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück sowie das Abendessen sind unschlagbar und sehr abwechslungsreich. Die Poolanlage ist relativ klein, aber in einem sehr sauberen Zustand, allerdings beginnt um 8:30 die Poolliegenschlacht. Das Meer ist gleich hinter der Promenade, so kann man auch schnell mal zwischen Pool und Meer wechseln. Die Abendanimation ist im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels in der Umgebung sehr bescheiden - hier fehlt leider einfach das gemütliche Flair des Hotels.

Lækkert hotel med super beliggenhed

Boede på hotellet i to uger. Rigtig lækkert hotel og lækker morgenmad. Hele hotellet var i god stand og personalet var meget venligt og imødekommende.
Poolområdet var tilpas størrelse og det var rigeligt med solsenge. Adgang direkte til stranden.
To ting som ville få karakter helt i top. Baren mangler noget charme - det er ikke hyggeligt så der sidder ikke ret mange gæster om aftenen. Rengøring af værelse var ikke helt i top. Borde blev ikke tørret af og det kom ikke rene viskestykker - men resten af hotellet var flot rent så det undrer at værelserne ikke blev rengjort med samme omhu.
Værelser var rummelige og altan var dejlig stor og hyggelig.
Kan klar anbefales. Man skal dog være opmærksom på at alle taler tysk - også personalet

Schönes Hotel

Schöner, sauberer Swimmingpool mit gepflegten Liegen, sowie Dusch und Umkleidekabine dabei. Das war sehr praktisch. Zugang von da auch zum Strand, bzw der Strandpromenade. Ist ein Stück zu laufen bis zu dem belebteren Teil und dem ganz sauberen Strandbereich, aber dafür hatten wir auch immer einen Parkplatz in der Nebenstraße, oder vor dem Hotel. Die Parkplätze werden in der Hochsaison aber sicher knapp, so dass man weiter gehen muss. Im belebteren Bereich weiter vorn könnte dieses Problem bei manchen Hotels noch stärker auftreten. Das Hotel hat ein gutes und preiswertes Essensangebot. Auch i.O. wenn man keine Voll-oder Halbpension gebucht hat. Die Möbilierung im Appartement war nicht mehr ganz so top, aber ok. Küchenausstattung war recht gut, alles was man so braucht. Service war gut und sehr freundlich. Flachbild-TV in beiden Räumen mit vielen deutschen Programmen. WLAN war super, funktionierte sogar noch vor dem Hoteleingang. Technik sonst (Bad) etwas vernachlässigt. Wir waren viel unterwegs mit dem Auto an vielen Stränden. Wir werden aber sicher wieder nach Cala Millor gehen.

Perfect for all

This was our first time in this hotel and it was like dream. More than kind stuff, good quality of life and food and high hygiene is not everything. You can get a bike if you want to, pingpong racquets and pool towel. If it is rainy day you'll get umbrella and recommendation where to go and what to do. And those ladies who keep room that clean - BRAVO! Fast, effective and kind service and allways helpful
