When we first arrived we were given a room in block 2 (this hotel has 3 blocks). The rooms smelt like damp and the bathroom was covered in mold.
The rooms are outdated and only have single glassing so it’s very noisy whilst you’re trying to sleep. You can also hear everything in the next room.
The rooms in block 2 are not pictured in any advertisement for the hotel. I assume for these reasons.
When arriving into the second room we were given we found the beds covered in hair along with the plug hole of the bath. However the staff did come into the room clean within an hour.
The first meal we had here was classed as a “snack” which was quite good with Pizza, Burgers, Hotdogs, chicken breasts and Fish options.
However this is where the good food came to an end. Dinner every evening was predominantly fish, with 1 chicken dish however upon having the chicken I did find that it was pink and undercooked.
So for the week myself and my partner lived on mainly chips. There’s one night a week where the hotel has a chocolate fountain for guests to cover their desert in.
Breakfast was your standard continental style breakfast, nothing impressive but also couldn’t complain, other than the breakfast staff who try to clear your plate before you’re finished. (This happened twice).
The pool: the pool has no where near enough seating or sun loungers to accommodate the amount of guests that are staying. The pool is also surrounded by walls and only sees sun for around 4-5 hours.
