The location is excellent, right on the beach! Hotel is clean. The staff at front desk were very helpful. However, the staff (short blond women and the tall/skinny guy) in the dinning room were in the combat mode rather in the service mode. We brought the breakfast and dinner package via Expedia, but no one mentioned to us any drink wasn’t part of the package although it’s the buffet. They neither presented the list of the drinks nor asked English speaking staff for help, instead speaking Spanish so loudly in the dinning room and I was literally asked if we had money, in English. NOT ACCEPTABLE. To put things in perspective, since we don’t drink, the cost for the drinks were about 5 Euro, like the cost to one ice cream. This were on for 3 dinners out 5. They need to be retrained. Clearly, there was a language barrier, but more importantly it was the attitude, as we travel around the world, language barrier becomes much less issue nowadays.

I was very disappointed with the poor treatment we were given from some of the hotel staff. The air conditioner in our room was not working when we arrived and they wanted us to stay overnight in this hot room after traveling 10 hours. They refused to give us another room. Eventually, it was fixed in a short time. Our bed sheets were not changed throughout our stay (7 days). I purchased my own. They did not provide soap or shampoo. The room was not swept nor vacuumed. The safe did not work. It’s a no frills hotel. If you wanted an iron or a pool towel you had to pay for it. The floor light outside our room did not work. You had to walk in the dark to the elevator. We pointed these things and nothing was done. I didn’t want to ruin my vacation, so I said nothing more. The hotel is right across the street, which was a plus. I do not recommend this hotel. Stay at your own risk.

Very good 3* hotel, better than some 4* hotels I had previously stayed in. Delicious food and great variety, with a huge buffet of sweets and deserts. Very clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Great localisation (we had a sea view room on the 4th floor, and a breathtaking view towards the sea). Very comfortable beds (the mattresses seemed new). Air conditioning working very well, despite the hot weather outside. I would definitely recommend it.

German resort - lovely hotel but be prepared..

Hotel and staff were lovely, definitely had a 3star feel with old fashioned security boxes, no kettles in rooms, no fridge and all inclusive very limited beyond the restaurant. Pool closed till 10am so no early swims. Then closed by 6pm !!! All the staff were lovely but a little surprised that two English people had checked in. This is a predominately a hotel for German tourists and whilst all were friendly it did mean every sunbed had a towel on it even when they went to the beach all day! I think this also influenced the catering as every meal was based around meat/sausage some fish but vegetarian dishes were limited to plan pasta with take you luck sauce and salads ! The hotel does have rules about footballs in the pool and bed saving but nothing was done to inforce this. Shame as having to get up every morning before 7am to join the I need a sunbed rush is ridiculous and exhausting!

Excellent location on the beach front

This was the best 3 star I've stayed in. The staff were excellent and all rooms seem to have a sea view. The hotel was mostly full of old German couples with very few families which was great as it meant it was easy to obtain a sun lounger by the pool even at 11am! We would definitely return in the future.

Great location in Cala Millor!

The Hotel Don Juan had a fabulous breakfast and excellent location. When we first arrived we thought the room felt a bit empty with the bare floors, but it made sense after all the sand we brought in from being on the beach each day. Our room had a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. The staff was very helpful, especially with our late night arrival. Our greeter walked out onto the street to make sure we parked in a legal spot (and my husband said he even parallel parked our car in the tight spot for us :-)). We had a great stay and would be happy to recommend this hotel to other travellers.

very enjoyable stay, friendly, caters for a lot of German holiday makers but was fine with us. No problems at all.Pool is unheated and very cold especially in April. lol managed to get in once !!! Reception staff extremely helpful giving us advice on places to visit, maps bus routes times fares etc. Food was excellent we were all inclusive. Had a lovely sea view room.

One to put on your list...

We stayed for two weeks. Wife, 7 year old and myself. The hotel mainly caters for German tourists, so the standard is extremely high. The hotel is a 5* masquerading as a 3* in my opinion. The staff are lovely, fantastically polite and nothing seems too much trouble. It is clean, well appointed and the food is excellent.

As I have said, if you are not put off by the slightly Germanic cuisine - and I wasn't (and nor should you be - shame on you if you recoil at the thought of eating 'foreign' food) as it was uniformly excellent, then get booking!! It was quite entertaining to play 'sunbed roulette' with our Germanic cousins each morning. All in good spirits. Towels on sunbeds... Its all true!! I found my fellow guests to be in the main charming and we made friends with one German family whom we plan to visit.

There is entertainment laid on, from air rifle shooting, to pool aerobics, and there are several kids discos each week, to entertain the young ones. At night there is generally free entertainment, laid on by the hotel. It may not be your thing but... your'e on holiday, so why not!! The hotel is within 30 yards of the beach, a short distance from the Calla Bona British enclave.

I think that the reason that the hotel is so good is because the staff make it so. The Manager, Antonio Garcia is very 'hands on' and is extremely obliging. You will find that he keeps a very careful eye on everything.

I would return without hesitation.

On the waterfront, and if you like cruises

Don Juan sits right on the Mediterranean Sea in Cala Millor, Majorca, Palma de Mallorca (NE of the island). It is NOT Cala Major, which is in the other direction of the island so perhaps write the name down to show taxis/bus drivers. The transunion.com bus can take you to and from the airport for about 30 euro round-trip per person which is your best be (about a 2 hour one-way drive from the airport, but you must book at least 3 days in advance). The staff are mostly friendly, but the cleaning of the rooms, technical assistance (such as call on our behalf for a snorkeling excursion, and providing tap water) was subpar. Cala Millor is a German town, therefore, it was interesting that the staff knew more German than Spanish, and knew very little English. The resort has an OK buffet, great pool, quick walk to the Sea, and caters to families and people wanting a relaxing vacation - night performances by the pool, bar services, etc. All in all, decent stay, but not for persons seeking a more rambunctious crowd or for persons who speak only English.

\"Lovely well kept hotel\"

Stayed for 4 nights on a short break, Lovely hotel in great location right on beach front close to bars and restaurants and a short twenty minute walk to the pretty harbour at Cala Bona. Nice pool area and pool bar, hotel is kept spotlessly clean everywhere, food is mostly geared for the German guest as is most of this resort but dont let that put you off it was all very nice plenty of places to eat out if you want to all very reasonable and a number of nice bars ( Rose and Crown at the back of the hotel was great fun), lovely long beach and sea front walk way all nice and flat and lots of shops to browse if thats what you like to do. This hotel is underated and deserves to be rated 4 stars, would definately recommend.

Hotel war frisch Renoviert und somit echt schön. Die Bar im EG hat sehr schöne Sitz Möglichkeiten.

Hatten Meerblick gebucht, das Zimmer war aber nicht bereit als wir ankamen, wurden dann in das hintere Haus verfrachtet. Als Ausgleich für den vorher bezahlten Aufpreis, erhielten wir einen Verzehr Gutschein. Hätte mir da mehr Kulanz gewünscht, indem wir einfach unser Geld wiederbekommen hätten.

Außerdem hatten wir am Ersten Tag eine Obstplatte auf unser Zimmer bekommen, die selbe Obstplatte stand dann 4 Tage in unserem Zimmer, die Zimmer-Reinigung hat die Platte nicht mitgenommen. Somit wurde die Platte mit jedem Tag schimmliger.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Essen super lecker, Lage vom Hotel perfekt. Personal extrem freundlich. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles ist sauber. Wir haben gehört dass das Hotel demnächst renoviert wird. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Wir waren in dem Hotel für 4 Nächte. Der Service und die Sauberkeit waren sehr gut. Leider war das Hotel sehr hellhörig, die Zimmer etwas veraltet. Die Speisenauswahl zum Frühstück und Abendessen war relativ groß, alllerdings mangelte es etwas an der Qualität. Allen im allen war der Aufenthalt ok für den Preis den wir bezahlt haben.

Eine sehr gutes Hotel, dirk an der Promenade und an einen sehr schönen Strand gelegen, der Pool war auch nicht schlecht, wenn auch häufiger verschaltet. Auffällig war die Freundlichkeit des Personals, die Sauberkeit überall im Hotel und das Buffet war sehr gut und wurde in 8 Tagen noch nicht langweilig. Größtes Manko sind die nur zwei Fahrstühle.

Het hotel is zeker een 10 waard. Wij hadden een kamer met zeezicht in het voorste gebouw op de 4de verdieping. De kamer was schoon en niets op aan te merken. ( de kamer was wel een beetje dateert, wat geen afbreuk deed) Het gebouw met uitzicht op het zwembad ziet er moderner uit. Het zwembad is mooi en ligt tussen de 2 gebouwen in, met genoeg ligbedden in de tijd dat wij er verbleven ( mei )
Het ontbijt en diner, beiden in buffetvorm waren bijzonder gevarieerd, voor ieder wat wils naar mijn mening, goed verzorgt en altijd aangevuld. Er werd ook elke avond een andere specialiteit aangeboden en er was variatie in de gerechten. Het personeel was attent, behulpzaam en zeer vriendelijk in de eetzaal. De bar was tevens goed verzorgd en gezellig, ook hier was het aanbod groot en het personeel vriendelijk. Na het diner was er elke avond animatie in de bar, de ene keer een muzikant of bingo of een zangeres en voor ons als hoogtepunt , 3 dames die flamingo dansten , wat een show, prachtig. De receptie en de baliemedewerkers verdienen ook een 10, vriendelijk, behulpzaam en snel. Wij hadden een heerlijk verblijf 😊

Lobby was really posh and looked updated recently, elevators and room gave away that this was an old hotel infact.
Plenty of the typical crowd in such establishement which was anticipated. Living their holiday \"in house\"
Service was very good overall.
Sadly no fridge in the room which was a minus.
Had a late decision to go for the in hotel buffet which was not really worth it.
Breakfast was included in our price and was ok, also a buffet, with the usual.

No han cumplido con mis expectativas y NADA RECOMENDABLE salvo por su personal que son estupendos y su ubicación.
Positivo: Buena ubicación, buen wifi, personal del hotel muy amable sobretodo en recepción y en el comedor en especial a Juana; buenas vistas al mar en el edificio antiguo y buen protocolo covid.

Negativo: cucarachas en habitación, comida muy básica y calidad media, bebidas no incluidas en precio, habitaciones mal insonorizadas, sobretodo las que dan a la piscina.

Am Anreisetag mussten wir für eine Nacht leider in ein anderes Hotel doch das gebuchte Hotel Don Juan hat uns die Übernachtung sowie die Taxi fahrt übernommen. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber jedoch in die Jahre gekommen (nicht weiter schlimm) das Zimmer wurde täglich sehr sauber gereinigt. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht und war einfach traumhaft. Das Hotel liegt direkt im Zentrum und nur wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer im 8.Stock war traumhaft. Die Lage war auch sehr gut und es die Parkplatzsuche war problemlos. Beim Frühstücksbuffet konnte man leicht satt werden, besonders war dieses jedoch sicherlich nicht. Für den Preis kann man dort aber keine kritik üben.

Gutes Strandhotel, kleine Schwächen

Die Lage des Hotels ist toll. Erste Lage am Strand und unmittelbar an der Einkaufspromenade (Rückseite des Anbaus). Ich kannte das Hotel von früher. Es gibt den hochgebauten (alten) Hauptteil, in welchem sich z.B. die Bar und das Restaurant befinden. Und es gibt den Anbau, welcher durch den Pool vom Hauptgebäude getrennt ist und hinter diesem liegt. Erfreulicherweise ist der Anbau renoviert worden und ist mit früher nicht zu vergleichen, alles neu. Pool und Poolbar sowie Liegebereiche zwischen den Gebäuden ok. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für Kinder ist dieses Hotel nicht so geeignet, wenn man speziellen Wert auf Kinderanimation legt. Die Öffnungszeiten des Restaurants sind angemessen und sogar etwas länger wie in anderen Hotels der Umgebung. Der Service im Restaurant ist leider nicht so wie man erwarten sollte und dabei war Nebensaison. Wenn man etwas später essen geht, kann es vorkommen dass die verschmutzte Tischdecke nicht gewechselt wird. Obwohl ich die Kellnerin ansprach und anzeigte diesen Tisch zu nehmen. Ebenfalls das ich kein Besteck sowie Serviette erhielt, sondern mir dieses aus dem Kellner Wagen holen musste. Nach dem Getränkewunsch wurde nicht gefragt. Ein Live cooking gibt es weder zum Frühstück (z.B. Omelett frisch mit Zutaten nach Wahl) noch zum Abendbrot. Nur alles auf Warmhalteplatten. Positiv war, dass sich der Chef meiner Beschwerde annahm und dies mit dem Personal besprochen hat. Ich hoffe auf Besserung bei meinem nächsten Besuch.

Zweckmäßige Unterkunft.

Kein Kühlschrank und kein Tresor auf dem Zimmer gehabt.
Jedoch tolle Lage direkt an Strand. Um einen Partyurlaub zu machen ideal. Wir gesagt zweckmäßig aber nix besonders. Halt 3 Sterne nach spanischer Kategorie.

Parto con l'unica nota positiva, a due passi dal mare. Per il resto una delusione unica: tripla con letto aggiuntivo attaccato al balcone per cui non si poteva neanche aprire la finestra. Camere un po' datate e odore persistente di stantio. Prenotato camera vista mare e piú che il mare si vedeva la tettoia, una delusione unica!!! Ci siamo lamentate e ci hanno ignorato e detto che se volevamo potevamo andare via.
Alla faccia della professionalita'!!!!
Animazione solo per clientela tedesca e cibo \"pessimo\" a dir poco. Ripetitivo: sempre e solo pollo e merluzzo e pure non cotto o presentato male. Un tre stelle che non ne vale neanche la metà.
Ci tengo però a precisare, essendo stata in un altro hipotels, che non sono tutti così.... probabilmente questo hotel è semplicemente gestito male.

Helt OK hotell som har veldig fin beliggenhet rett ved stranden. Vi hadde rom med havutsikt, og fikk da flott utsikt rett på stranden og strandpromenaden, ba om høyeste etasje, fikk 3. etasje (av 8), men ok utsikt likevel.
Positivt: Bra WIFI, bra frokost, bra beliggenhet, bra renhold.
Negativt: Ingen minibar/kjøleskap. Må kjøpe egen håndsåpe, dusjsåpe osv. (De kaller såpen du får ved innsjekk for \"gave\", vær obs på at når den er tom må du kjøpe nytt selv, noe vi ALDRI tidligere har opplevd på hotell). De tilbyr transfer til flyplass, men da vi skulle hjem fikk vi bare ett valg, hvor vi da hadde vært på flyplassen nesten 4 timer før avgang.. De sa taxi ville koste 80-85 euro, vi betalte 97 euro (takstameter).
OK+ hotell!

Sehr guter Service und Lage ist hervorragend.
Frühstück war auch lecker und umfangreich, Abendessen kann ich nicht beurteilen.
Kühlschrank nur gegen Aufpreis erhältlich.
Die Klimaanlage hatte leider Aussetzer.
Das Bett ist auch ein No Go, Kissen zu hart.

Ausgezeichnetes 3 Sterne Hotel

Wir waren positiv überrascht, da wir uns von einem 3 Sterne Hotel nicht viel erwartet haben! Das Essen im Restaurant war ausgezeichnet, es lohnt sich hier die All Inclusive Option auszuwählen. Die Poolbar hat sehr viel zu bieten, seien es Cocktails oder auch Snacks.
Die Zimmer mit Meerblick sind einem 3 Sterne Hotel würdig. Aber sie werden jeden Tag gründlich gereinigt, daher ist die Sauberkeit on point.

Familienurlaub

Wir waren das erste mal auf Mallorca und habe das Hotel durch die guten Bewertungen gebucht. Ich kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Für Kinder gibt es gute Unterhaltungen und auch für Erwachsene wurde für Unterhaltung gesorgt. Die Lage vom Hotel ist für uns toll gewesen, wir haben die Liegen beim Pool genutzt und sind die paar Schritte zum Strand gegangen.

Super nah zu einem tollen Sandstrand.

Schönes Hotel, Preis/Leistung stimmt. Zimmer waren sauber, Service war freundlich. Lediglich war es schwer mal \"auszuschlafen\", da ab 9 Uhr die Reinigungskräfte bei ihrer Arbeit deutlich zu hören waren.
Lage ist wunderbar.

Trevligt hotell

Trevligt hotell med jättebra personal. All Inclusive var mycket bra, både gällande mat och dryck. Lite tråkigt att man bara fick sitta max 4 vid borden ute på terassen då vi var ett sällskap om 5. Minus eftersom det inte fanns någon safety box på rummet utan det var man tvungen att hyra. Helt ok Wifi.

El hotel estaba nuevo y parecía de mayor categoría, no tuvimos vistas al mar pero las de la piscina tampoco estaban mal. No se oían ruidos y la cama era muy cómoda. Muchos comercios y bares en la zona. Lo único en contra el horario de la cena, para los españoles es más merienda que cena, como sugerencia ampliarlo hasta las 10. Personal súper amable.

Buena relación calidad-precio.

Hotel Bastante bien situado, a pie de una pequeña playa en figueretas. Para llegar al centro de Ibiza tienes un paseo de unos 15 minutos. El desayuno es mejor de lo esperado para un tres estrellas (tipo bufet). El personal es muy amable. Si tuviera que ponerle algún pero solamente sería la limpieza de las habitaciones, que no cada día tardaba bastante y tampoco era perfecta.

Ansprechendes Hotel direkt am Strand

Das 3-Sterne-Hotel Don Juan in Cala Millor kann man nur empfehlen. Die Lage, das Personal, das Essen, das Zimmer mit Meerblick, alles hat uns sehr gefallen.
Wir hatten für die Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes einen festen Tisch, so dass wir morgens nicht Schlange stehen mussten bis wir frühstücken konnten, abends war das ebenfalls kein Problem. Das Personal im Speisesaal war aufmerksam und flott beim Abräumen, Buffet wurde immer nachgefüllt, die Auswahl war groß. Wir werden bestimmt nochmal wiederkommen.

emplacement idéal face a la plage

Hotel situé face a la plage et au centre des rues animées de Cala Millor.
Soleil , plage , shopping , restaurants et bars .
Mais 80% d'allemands ce n'est plus l'espagne .
