We spent two weeks here and really enoyed our stay. The hotel location is as the name suggests right at the marina. It was convenient for tours and scuba diving. Lots of restaurants and a shopping centre within walking distance.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

Our stay was perfect, Kevin in the restaurant went above and beyond during our stay. He was friendly and very helpful. We were close to the beach, a very easy walk through the marina on on the street. Overall the rooms were good, clean and maintained. Restaurant was good, front staff was great we lived our stay

Disappointed that we called 2 months before and made arrangements to book the same room but with a pool view. They assured us this would be done but when we got there it took us 3 days before getting what we needed. Another Con…the constant loud music around the pool. Con..it being Mexico many rooms don’t even have a coffee maker or mini fridge. Even the upgrades lack in these amenities. The Pros …perfect location, super clean, friendly accommodating staff, beautiful greenery and pool side. Highly recommend!

The resort was a bit dated but the room was exactly as pictured and the resort had everything we needed. We purchased the breakfast package only and it was limited but good.the location was amazing to hop the bus, or walk to other beaches, grocery store or out for dinner. The service was exceptional in all depts. we will stay here again. The other mentionable is you can stay after check out, with stored luggage option and use the pool area. There is access to showers and to change before heading to the airport. We had a great time!

This property has no elevator. LOTS of STAIRS and STEPS to get to the room. If you are traveling with elders, this will be an issue. Grandma has knee issues. Going up and down from and to the room is a trek. The check in process was a pain. They have you manually complete a form. Then they hand you bunch of remotes for the room. Why not just leave it in the room?

The AC required a key card. If you ask for an extra key card, they need you to sign a paper. Extra towels, they need you to sign a paper. They will charge you if you do not return. The Do Not Disturb sign do not work. The employee still enter into the suite.

Their breakfast that came with the stay is not great at all. A super small selection to pick from. I would not recommend this place if you plan to travel to Santa María Huatulco.

A beautiful resort near the hotel area of Huatulco. It has two small but nice swimming pools and one wading pool on the hotel grounds. The beach club area is a short walk further down the street that has another small but nice pool. Be warned there are a lot of stairs on the property so if you have mobility issues you might struggle a bit, it is in no way wheelchair friendly/accessible. The rooms are well kept and the staff does well to keep it tidy and stocked with some bottled water. We were in a two-bedroom suite that had a small kitchen (sink, refrigerator, dishes, coffee maker). The beds were very comfortable so we slept well. Parking is very limited but is on site and convenient. Easy to walk to the shops, restaurants and beach on the opposite side of the marina. If you plan on doing any boat tours it couldn't be any more convenient for you. Plenty of options to choose from right across the street from the hotel lobby. We enjoyed our stay very much and would return.

Not happy with the room given. Originally was to get room 214 but one of the staff members said that since it was booked through Expedia we were given a smaller room (#234). The facility did not have an elevator so we had to go up several flights of stairs. Room 214 had very little stairs to get to. So booking through Expedia gets you the lesser rooms!?!?!

This hotel is located in a very walkable and desireable location. The beach is minutes away and a taxi ride to Maquey or Entraga beach is only about 80 Pesos. We opted for the included breakfast and it is more than adequate. You can pick between 5 items on the menu along with the included fruit, yougurt and granola. The hotel is a bit older, but kept very clean. We chose a suite which had plenty of room and a very nice balcony overlooking the pool. There are lots of steps and no elevators so be prepared. Overall a very good value, and enjoyable place to stay.

Meubles de terrasse en piètre état, seulement 2 prises électriques dans toute la chambre, coffre-fort minuscule, bureau avec les portes installées à l'envers, Photos pas comme sur le site. Pas de verres, pas de débarbouillettes(gant de toilette), pas de cafetière, pas de frigidaire. éclairage insuffisant. chaise de bureau en plastique sale(chaise de jardin). Air climatisé non fonctionnel, nous avons du changer de chambre, nouvelle chambre aussi désuète.

The property is very old and has NO ElEVATOR. I had to walk upstairs and took 126 steps to reach our room. The bathroom smelled like poop and had an open drainage hole in the bathroom. The staff was kind but the hotel’s excursion/tour guides were a tip off. They advertised one thing and provided a different package after you paid. We booked a tour to a coffee plantation and were charged extra fees once we arrived at the plantation. The guide had no plan or organization. Stay away from the tours or excursions offered at the hotel.

Lovely staff, great breakfast included, site was rustic with a colonial Mediterranean style. The many levels of the hotel up against the rock outcropping gives is a unique elegance with beautiful views of the ocean and marina.

Rowdy children in the pool was an issue, screaming until 9 pm, sometimes later. One night a man was singing loudly after midnight . It took 2 calls to the desk to shut him up. The food and drinks were ok but it is very limited as to what you can get with free breakfast. And it seemed like they didn’t want to serve you what was not on free list even when you told them you would pay for it. No one spoke English and most all tv was in Spanish.

The hotel isa little dated, typical Mexican rock and tile. The included breakfast was fantastic, a huge bowl of fruit with granola on the side and your choice of numerous main courses.
The location is right across from the marina and across the street from the beach.

This is a great hotel, close to everything from shopping to beaches. This is a slightly older hotel but still in beautiful shape and well kept. The staff are all wonderful and did everything they could to understand our very limited spanish. Our breakfast waitress helped teach us a new word almost every morning.
We will definately go back.

The rooms are old and in need of some updates. The bathroom was horrible. No water pressure and old fixtures. The bed was comfortable and it had a good AC. The breakfast was big and lots of choices. The service was not very good. The staff worked very hard but they were not very attentive. It was difficult to get cream for coffee. Difficult to get hot tea. Difficult to get toast. They have an english and spanish menu.

9/10 for the hotel in general, and the beach club! We truely only had one issue with our stay....the front desk evening/night manager! We asked for ice 7/7 nights. We only had ice brought to us on 2 nights, and that is only because the beach club manager spoke to the evening front desk staff and arranged it. The next evening front desk said yes he would bring it then didn't. So incredibly frustrating when I needed the ice for medication!

This hotel is a hidden gem, the staff at the beach club is amazing (Victor & Abi especially), but the front desk night clerk left a disappointing experience.
He was rude, and generally not caring about anything at all!

A coffee maker in the room, or in a common area would have been a bonus!

Not satisfied with the crew they’re not professional and seems like they appreciate the tourist, I asked for a copy of my receipt when I did my checkout and they don’t even have a paper receptionist. We don’t have paper To print a receipt for you, The AC on the room was not working properly and the axis from the lobby to the room has way too many stairs. I was with a handicap woman, and it was no elevator, it was very uncomfortable and unsafe for this particular guess, I will not choose this hotel again in the future.

One thing I liked about this property was the location. It's in the Marina and Centro (main square) area.

The hotel is old and at first sight it looked in good condition; however, it seemed that the AC, safe boxes, e-keys, were refurbished, They were constantly failing on
us :(
The hotel staff did their best to solve our issues and we were very thankful for their attempts to please us!

I felt this property had good value for the nightly price. Price of drinks at the pool were atrocious but perhaps to keep the drink consumption down as it seems to be family orientated. The beach club down the street that is part of the hotel was nice and more reasonably priced for beverages. Service is always slower than one would like but expectation may be to high considering its just a different pace. Staff was good and considering I don't speak Spanish, they certainly try to understand what I think I am saying. But isn't that part of the reason we keep going back to Huatulco as its the most authentic place to be. We had trouble with the TV which took a couple requests but they did show up with a new one. The room was small with a king sized bed and the dresser was to large for the room making it crammed. Nice location to Bahai Santa Cruz beach, restaurant's, local market and other shopping. Overall average but no complaints, particularly when you remember that you are in one of the best parts of Mexico.

I had read some of the reviews before hand and to be honest i was quite nervous!! But no need to be the staff were so friendly we had asked to move rooms due to our room being on the top floor (no elevator) they were very happy to move us to a lower floor. I think the only thing i would change would be to put fridges in the rooms.

Time for some upgrades to the hotel

Location was not great, and also not close to a swimming beach. Condition of the hotel was a combination of an older, poorly designed hotel coupled with a need for some upgrades.
On the positive side the AC was excellent and quiet, and shower was good. Staff was friendly and very responsive.

The property is dated, no elevator and everyone walks up to the floors in the high heat it is very rough. The front desk staff are rude and challenging. I was sold a package with breakfast buffet included and that was a lie. I was not offered that but instead of the menue very limited choices 4 to be exact. No lobby to hang out and cool off. No refrigerator in the rooms to keep cold beverages. Slow to response staff. No activities that could be done for entertainment. Good location only perk. No bar to hang out and yave a drink. Phones did not work. No TV channels for entertainment. Very old options for movies that came out 20 plus years ago. Very hard beds not a good comfortable sleep. Very cheap accommodations. You get what you pay for. 2 star rating. Location is ok close to beach walking distance. Best pay for a bicer hotel with better amenities.
