The people are the most important part of this operation. We checked in with Rosa and we asked her for recommendations for beaches and restaurant's and she did a great job with recommendations. She should be a concierge! The property is clean with supermarkets within walking distance. The restaurant was clean and the food was good. We did only breakfast. The housekeeping staff was extremely courteous and they did a great job maintaining the property. The pool area is very nice and they serve lunch for purchase between 12:30-2:30. The beach is steps from the property and it’s beautiful! The rooms have a beautiful ocean view. The only thing is the rooms kitchens and bathrooms could use updates. All other amenities are beautiful. Parking was available safely on the street.

Room is spacious and clean. Air conditioner is slightly noisy but acceptable. The room is not very sound proof so in the morning you can hear people on the corridor walking and talking. It was also weird that they only allow cash for deposit of borrowing towel, when you already have hold deposit in your room. The staff in the restaurant does not speak English very well, but the staff at reception is helpful.

Beautiful hotel - steps from the beach. Nice quiet location. The room had a beautiful balcony, the food was wonderful and the staff was very helpful. I will recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family. I will stay here again when I go to Mallorca. The best Hipotel in Mallorca.

Best of two resorts - would recommend

The hotel is in a great location for being between Cala Millor and Sa Coma, about 15-30 minutes walk into the centre of each resort and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. Quiet area. A taxi into the Cala Millor centre is about 7€ if you did not want to walk.

The rooms are clean and spacious with a good range of amenities. The only downsides we found were that pillows were quite firm, flat and uncomfortable and there was no light on the balcony.

Poolside beds are fairly limited but this was not a problem for our stay. Beach towels can be rented with a fully refunded deposit. There is entertainment day and evening for children and adults. Lifeguard on duty during pool opening hours.

The indoor pool is small and in need of some renovation but is nice to have, along with sauna. These are only open on bad weather days.

The breakfast buffet is tasty and with a good variety and choice.

The hotel is in the best location - right on the edge of a large nature reserve and pine forest, a stones throw from the beach. We could set up a ‘base’ at the pool and walk with our baby to the sea for a short swim, leaving our things by the pool. It’s spotlessly clean and the staff are wonderful. The apartments are well furnished and not just with Ikea furniture. We didn’t book All Inclusive, but did have the dinner buffet one night and it was really good! A contrast to the all inclusive experiences I’ve had before. It was the perfect hotel for us with a 5 month old baby and we would definitely go back !

Stayed there with my wife on our honeymoon for 6 nights as part of a larger trip. The room was adequate, the beds weren't amazing but not bad either. I say its good for the price. We had a bed and breakfast plan which included a full buffet breakfast every day. the coffee was horrible but the food and service was good. The rooms were always clean well except for the kitchen. speaking of which it was very small to prep food with VERY basic utensils / amenities ( no salt and pepper, no oven). The location was good right next to the beach in a quite corner of a rather busy beach strip. The pool area wasn't spectacular ( not much sun) but we are beach people. I would say its good value for your money especially if you plan to have a vehicle to get off Property and explore the island.

The hotel had everything we needed, the room was very comfortable and clean with a lovely bathroom. Very close to the beach & lovely walks on the headland. The location is at the quiet end of town so the beach always had space to move. Quite a walk to the main town but we hired bikes from the hotel which were very reasonably priced and there's an easy flat cycle lane all the way along the front - with beautiful views.

Nice hotel, disappointing pool area

The pool area was far too small for the size of the hotel and there weren't nearly enough sun beds for the number of guests. We never managed to get a spot by the pool during our 10 day stay as people were 'reserving' them with their towels and then not showing up to use them for hours.
The hotel itself is lovely, our room was spotlessly clean and good self-catering facilities. It's quite a long way from the centre of the resort, taking around 20 mins to reach the main strip of bars, restaurants and shops.

Don't trust Hotel.com star rating

not good at all ...however I fault Hotels.com not so much the hotel , because it is not a 4 start hotel - could not get a cup of coffee before 10 am unless I purchased the all inclusive option, could not get any food at the lounge or restaurant after 8:30 pm , shuttle service needs to be reserved 3 days before check in , hotels . com should specifically say that, after I checked out I was waiting for my shuttle , wanted to get a drink I was told I could not because I already checked out ...I don't know to laugh or cry ....all and all the price was low , however this is not a 4 start hotel , in part I should have known better to question it . Its an ok hotel , but not close to 4 starts ...Hotel. com needs to reevaluate their rating criteria .

Fantastic hotel - attention to detail

Excellent hotel, the service and attention to detail was five star, the food was superb, and the variety was fantastic, all diets catered for and individual menus can be requested. The entertainment was good and I loved the poolside cocktail games and water aerobics. Additional small charge activities also organised. The gym was well equipped but not airconditioned so a tad hot tostay too long. If using ask for the remote control to operate the TV/music. The majority of guests are German which meant we improved our German language skills - bonus! Very helpful staff and our maid was very accommodating and cleaned our room around our daytime routine.

A lovely hotel in a great position.

This hotel had all we expected and more. Very good service and well presented, helpful staff. Lovely bright clean accommodation, and great food.
We recommend the All-Inclusive deal which includes all meals, drinks and a constant flow of ice-cream and cocktails.
The beach is just two minutes away and is beautiful.
The Bahía Grande Hotel is also a lovely place for kids of all ages. We enjoyed the evening Mini-Disco's and caberat style entertainment. We hired bicycles and found some lovely places to visit. There are organised horse riding and boat trips, all at affordable prices.
Cala Millor is a nice resort with mainly 4 star hotels, and we really enjoyed our evening walks down the beach road.
We rate this hotel and would highly reccommend it for a lovely family holiday.

Very pleased with this hotel, the rooms were very spacious and clean. The food was very good for both breakfast and dinner. Less selection for vegetarians but great desert buffet too :)
The indoor pool was good as it was too cold to use the outdoor pool, but the kids couldn't jump in as it wasn't deep enough. The pool was too cold for my liking and I couldn't stay in it for long. The location was fine, about 10 minutes to the main street with all the shops, but small supermarkets were very close by. The hotel is right next to the beach.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel with all-inclusive. The food, pool (indoor) and entertainment was fine. What we didn't like was the location of our apartment. It was placed just above the restaurant so that you could hear all the chairs moving when serving food three times a day + a techniqueroom next door and airhockey at the pool making noise - no sun on the balcony. The children didn't complain;-)

Excellent situation for the beach, restaurants etc. the hotel offers a great bike hire service, that we took full advantage of. Will def return next year with our little boy as the hotel offers a baby pool and a children's indoor play area.

Hotel fine - but a bit of a walk to town

Had a very relaxing stay in Cala Millor. Great family resort and it's worth a trip to Cala Bona harbour at the far end of the resort, 5 euros in a taxi. Although it's only about 15 minutes to walk into town, it does get you down a bit when you are doing it a couple of times a day. Not quite far enough for a taxi. Other than that, it was spot on. Will definitely return to Cala Millor, but will book somewhere a bit more central.

We DO NOT recommend this hotel after our experience. We were given a room with no bath, overlooking noisy pool, AFTER I had emailed in advance travelling with a disabled child and must have a bath in a quiet room. We were ''allowed'' to move to a quieter room after complaining about the noise and it was as if we were being done a favour!! If you are overlooking the pool be aware the air hockey game is allowed to be played until midnight. The lifts are small and slow. Pool is small and lots of bed bagging goes on every day, we went to the beach instead which was 2 minutes away and loved it. We were given beach towels to shower with on our last day yet everyone else had nice soft white towels (one family had white towels immiedately after us when we had been told they had run out!!). On the whole i felt we were made to feel as if we were an inconvenience to them anytime we asked for something. The hotel is at the start of the beach so a fair walk to good restaurants but we did not mind as wanted to spend very little time in the hotel, TV was geared towards other guests and only english speaking was news channels. So on the whole, we enjoyed our holiday, just not the hotel!! There are plenty more to pick from in Cala Millor and we will be back just not to this hotel.

Wir sind Mitte Oktober zu dritt mit vierjährigem Kind gereist.
Alle Bereiche des Hotels waren sehr sauber und gepflegt, das Personal immer sehr nett. Es gab tagsüber Angebote für Kinder und abends Minidisco, was den Kindern viel Spaß bereitet hat. Ebenso gab es jeden Abend im Anschluss Unterhaltung für Erwachsene/Familien im Barbereich. Hatte man daran kein Interesse und wollte sich abends auf dem Zimmer/Balkon aufhalten, so wurde man vom Abendprogramm auch nicht gestört, wie in manch anderen Hotels in welchen das Abendprogramm draußen stattfindet.
In ca. 3 Minuten Entfernung zu Fuß befindet sich ein kostenfreier und weitläufiger Parkplatz, welchen wir gerne genutzt haben. Lebensmittelgeschäfte gibt es an jeder zweiten Straßenecke. Das Buffet zum Frühstück und Abend war allerdings immer sehr umfangreich und bot für jeden Geschmack etwas (auch Vegetarier), sodass wir kaum Bedarf hatten uns zusätzlich selbst zu versorgen.
Alles war sehr zufriedenstellend, einzig die Zimmereinrichtung (insbesondere die Betten) waren etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Matratzen waren etwas weich/durchgelegen. Der Außen- und Innenpool war für unser Empfinden trotz 22-25 Grad Außentemperatur leider zu kalt um diese Jahreszeit.

De ontvangst was super! De baliemedewerkster was zeer vriendelijk en ik kon eerder in mijn kamer dan de reguliere inchecktijd. De kamer was ruim, comfortabel, netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ook het uitzicht vanaf het balkon was fijn en zeer rustgevend; ik keek uit op het pijnbomenbos. Ik mis de geur van de pijnbomen en het geluid van de krekels nu al! De hotelmedewerkers waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en hebben mij zeer welkom laten voelen tijdens mijn verblijf. Het hotel is voorzien van een zwembad, gym, spa en bar/restaurant/ontbijt. De ligging van het aparthotel is ook super! Dichtbij het bos en strand om lekker tot rust te komen, maar ook op loopafstand van de winkels, restaurants en entertainment in Cala Millor om daar de gezelligheid op te zoeken. Het aparthotel ligt op loopafstand van zowel de kleine strandsupermarktjes als de grotere supermarkten. De bushalte om naar andere plaatsjes te komen was ook dichtbij. Het uitchecken ging ook prima! Navraag gedaan bij de baliemedewerkster gezien ik zeer vroeg in de ochtend werd opgehaald, maar dit was geen probleem. De balie was de hele nacht bemand en de medewerkster had mijn vertrektijd genoteerd. De volgende ochtend verwachtte de baliemedewerker me al en verliep het uitchecken zeer soepel. Ik heb een heel fijn verblijf gehad bij Hipotels Bahía Grande en zou anderen zeker aanraden om hier te verblijven! :) Grote dank aan alle medewerkers van het hotel die mij zo welkom hebben laten voelen tijdens mijn verblijf.

Das Hotel ist insgesamt nicht schlecht, familiär. Sehr praktisch ist, dass das Zimmer aus zwei Räumen besteht und eine kleine Küche hat – in der Küche gibt es alles! Das Geschirr ist neu, es gibt Töpfe, Pfannen, eine Kaffeemaschine, einen Toaster, einen Wasserkocher – alles in ausgezeichnetem Zustand! Es gibt sogar einen Korkenzieher!

Der Nachteil für uns war das Essen – aber das ist natürlich Geschmackssache! Es gibt wenig Auswahl an Speisen für Kinder, viele Gerichte sind bereits in Saucen, die wir zum Beispiel nicht essen. Aber wie gesagt, das ist Geschmackssache.

Beim Einchecken hat uns das Zimmer überhaupt nicht gefallen – seien Sie beim Buchen aufmerksam – der Blick aus dem Economy-Zimmer weicht stark von den Fotos ab – unter dem Balkon befindet sich eine belebte Straße und es ist sehr laut! Das Zimmer konnte erst nach 4 Tagen gewechselt werden. Das hat den Eindruck etwas getrübt, aber das Hotel war in den Ferien wirklich überlastet. Der Strand ist direkt beim Hotel, leider wird durch den Wind schwarze Algen angeschwemmt, sodass man nicht schwimmen kann. Man musste etwa 500 Meter weiter gehen, um einen sauberen Eingang zu finden. Das Hotel liegt am äußersten Rand von Cala Millor, wenn Sie Cafés, Restaurants und eine interessante Promenade suchen, finden Sie diese etwa in der Mitte.

Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel ist sicher schon etwas älter aber offensichtlich vor kurzem renoviert worden und insgesamt in einem guten Zustand. Alles wirkte sauber. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick (Upgrade gegen Aufpreis bei Check-In) und das hatte sich auch wirklich gelohnt. Der Innenpool ist doch sehr klein und eher für Kinder geeignet, der Aussenpool machte einen guten Eindruck.

We enjoyed our stay a lot and consider coming back. Friendly staff, nice and big room with small kitchen and nice balcony, only 2 minutes walk to the sea with a sandy beach, children animation in the morning and in the afternoon and in the evening, even in low season, breakfast and dinner buffet with a huge and changing variety in food. Something that was broken in the bathroom got fixed within 1hour. Close to a small nature area to go walking or for a run.

Tout est absolument au top ! L’hôtel et la région étaient géniale on a passé de belles vacances. Hormis le vol retour opéré par Vueling qui a été une horreur. Autrement le séjour a été super top. Merci à vous

Sehr zuvorkommendes und nettes Personal. Wir
haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Allerdings sind in der Unterkunft überwiegend Familien anzutreffen. Wer Ruhe sucht, sollte lieber auf andere Hotels ausweichen. Die Bar abends hat bis 24 Uhr auf, leckere und preiswerte Drinks. Das hat uns auch gut gefallen. Das Zimmer mit Meerblick war auch sehr schön.

Fajny hotel, przy samej plaży. Wspaniały widok z okna ( pokoj na 6 piętrze). Pokoj nie najnowszy ale bardzo czysto i codziennie serwis sprzątający. Mały basen. Dobre jedzenie.

Estupendo hotel familiar

Muy buenos días!! Acabamos de llegar de pasar unos días estupendos en familia,que decir del hotel,la amabilidad de los trabajadores,tanto en recepción,comedor,en el bar,toda gente muy amable y simpática!!
La limpieza de l habitación estupenda teníamos habitación con vista y fue impresionante estuvimos en la 6 planta y lo que veíamos casa mañana era increíble!!
La comida estupenda,variada y siempre había de todo para elegir..al tener todo incluido siempre tenías algo que comer y todo perfecto!! Si ahí que añadir algo malo,los horarios de comida y cena que eran muy pronto para nosotros los españoles que comemos mas tarde!! Pero bueno uno se acopla por unos días a esos horarios! Y tal vez el tema de la piscina interior se supone q ers climatizada y la verdad que está fría nada caliente y llena a tope de gente!! No es tan grande como aparece en las fotos pero para darte un baño está bien!! Lo importante que para pasar unos días en familia está estupendo,cerca de la playa,un paseo estupendo,unas rutas para caminar y ver el Castillo d’Amer preciosas vistas,vale la pena pasar unos días en este precioso hotel.

Les points négatifs : aucune communication sur le fonctionnement de l'hôtel à notre arrivée, juste 2 ou 3 flyers distribués pour les excursions. On a donc dû revenir à la réception dès qu'il nous manquait une info. Piscine : fermeture à 18h. Restaurant : fermeture à 21h, pour ceux qui ne sont pas \"all inclusive\" c'est 25€ par personne, la réception ne prévient pas (il faut payer à la réception pour accéder au Restaurant) que le restau ferme à 21h donc surprise quand les serveurs vous disent \"il reste 5 minutes\", on a cru que c'était une blague.
Les points forts : propre, fonctionnel et grand, équipe sympa, à 2 pas de la plage, mille mercis aux femmes de ménage qui étaient adorables.

Familievriendelijk hotel met veel bejaarde Duitse gasten. Personeel is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Uitstekend ontbijt en prima ligging. Verwacht niet ondergedompeld te worden in Spaanse cultuur. Het was voor ons soms irritant dat steeds in het Duits gecommuniceerd werd.

Personnel sympathique. Chambres spacieuses et confortables pour 4.
Seul bémol : nous avions la demi-pension et le restaurant fermant à 21h00 (clientèle allemande et britannique oblige !!!) nous avons dû souper à toute vitesse. Excellent buffet par ailleurs.

Familien-freundliches Hotel am Strand

Das Hotel lag am Strand von Cala Millor, am suedlichen Teil davon. Es gibt Essensmoeglichkeiten und zwar sehr gute auch in der Umgebung.

Das Gute: Das Hotelpersonal war sehr sympatisch und freundlich.

Das Schlechte: Das Mobiliaer war schon ein wenig abgenutzt und die Matratze war nicht das Beste.
