Quiet hotel with lovely restaurant

we visited this hotel out of season, so it was relatively quiet, but very enjoyable. the apartments are well stocked with pans, tea towels, washing up liquid etc. There is plenty of space for 2 (I wouldn't recommend for 3) and it is only a short walk to shops and the beach (although the hill is quite steep). We had a hire car which was invaluable for getting about, but if you want just beach and pool holiday, this is not necessary.

September 2017 -- stayed as a couple

The apartments have an absolutely beautiful pool, and the area is lovely and quiet. Our apartment had a spectacular sea view. The restaurant was also lovely, very well priced and excellent food. However, be advised that you really do need a car if you're going to stay here. It is a LONG walk down to the nearest beach, and an even longer one to somewhere with a supermarket or any amenities. This would be perfect for a quiet stay, but we did not have a car, which was a bit of a problem. Hiking up very steep hills in the heat gets tiring! The apartments themselves were clean but a bit basic. Still, we had a lovely time.

The facilities provided in our self catering apartment were the best and cleanest I've come across. Everything you needed and more were provided, eg: washing up liquid, cloth, tea towel, clothes airer. The fan provided did a good job at helping to keep the room cool at night , the balcony was spacious and also quite private. The pool and gardens were maintained to a high level. Arriving on a Sunday afternoon the place was packed with locals enjoying the facilities, however we were very pleased to discover on Monday morning that they had only been day visitors and subsequently the rest of our stay was very peaceful.

Wouldn't recommend to British people

Rooms are nice, good size. Pool and surrounding area very nice. Food very good but not what I'd call \"holiday\" food - they didn't do snacks at lunchtime, it was all large, quite expensive main courses. No tapas. Miles from anywhere, and the one taxi we did get was very rude and said something we heard several times we were there \"you English\". It's very geared up for local Spanish people to come in the afternoons with their kids to use the pool etc. We very much felt we were an inconvenience. In the mornings they watered the grass area round the pool until about 11 so the sunbeds were getting soaked and large areas of the grass and most of the sunbeds couldn't be used while the sprinklers were on. They even mowed the grass around the pool at about 10am and made us move off our sunbeds so they could do it. Everything was set up for the arrival of the locals in the afternoon. Room wasn't ready when we arrived and we had to wait a couple of hours. Requested a 20 euro deposit for the use of a kettle - never heard of that before! No air con, although there was a fan in the room and a ceiling fan. Overall felt that there was a general expectation of \"The English\" all being louts and we were treated accordingly. Some of the staff were pleasant, but some were quite rude. Service was slow. Overall very disappointing.

Basic clean hotel

Just had a week at Hotel Sol Romantica, the facilities are basic and dated but very clean. Parts of the hotel have been upgraded and are much better rooms. The food is not bad the the price. Hotel staff all speak very good English as well as other languages. Lovely quiet location but no evening entertainment and fairly remote so a Car is the best way to get around.

Good Hotel in quite location - need a car!

This hotel is a small but excellent base for a week or two, as with some reviews we read it is a little dated but everywhere is kept clean and the restaurant food is excellent. Only slight issue was the noise from the larger resort next door some nights. Also note that this place is very popular with locals who on the weekend enjoy the restaurant and pool aera so it gets busy,

Too far away from anything!

Booked this hotel by accident and was hoping it would be ok.
There are no restaurants or bars local to the hotel which meant a trip into Porto Cristo or eat at the hotel.
Taking trips was a little difficult to do by yourselves although there is a bus stop outside and a tourist train goes into Porto Cristo once an hour.
Book a car......my biggest top!

Lovely quiet venue

A week base for climbing and road biking. Perfect quiet location, apartment had everything we needed. lovely balcony with sea view. We used the Hotel bar - nice helpful staff - relaxing place to have a pre dinner drink and use wifi.

Lovely family run hotel

Ideal for a mini break. Very helpful staff, little supermarket close by. Local 'tourist' train stops right outside the hotel - costs Euros4.50 pp for a round trip. Only 10 to 15 min walk to local beach but the walk back is all up hill!

Pleasant Appearance

The hotel was clean. We did not spend much time at the hotel. We were visiting friends that live nearby. It is good to have a car if you want to travel around the island. The hotel has a pleasant appearance. We did not eat at the restaurant there. We did not use the pool either. There are several beaches not far away, but a long walk. There are also some restaurants not far away, but also a long walk. It does not have much in the way of kitchen supplies. No coffee pot.

in the middle of nowhere

The apartments are in a residential area which is very quiet and peaceful. This is great unless you need to buy some supplies. The nearest shop (and beach) is about a mile away down a very steep hill. Walking up a very steep hill with shopping bags in super hot sun is not a great deal of fun! You could however always buy a can of coke at the apartments for €2.20! The food at the apartments was fine, which is lucky as you have to go back down by the shop to find another restaurant. The cooker didn't work in our room, so we had to eat in the restaurant a lot. The towels get changed after 4 days and the sheets don't get changed and the room doesn't get cleaned. The staff are nice enough, if extremely slow to serve you. The pool was nice and as there were hardly any guests, it was always quite empty. So all in all, a fair place in a very quiet location, but there is absolutely nothing to do and you need to be pretty fit if you want to go out and buy essentials like water.

Something special!

My other half and I agonised for weeks about where to stay when we were planning our trip...we made the right choice! Jose, Carmen and Tony couldn't do enough for us, for a personal touch in a family run establishment you can't go wrong here. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach (down hill) and local amenities. Boat trips to Porto Christo etc are easily arranged. We found the local bus service reliable and cheap and the food and choice of local wine was brilliant. A wonderful quiet and Romantica week! Value for money...this was exceptional. We will be back.

Last minute booking

Lovely hotel, lovely people, bit a bit of a steep hill down to the shops and beaches but there is a bus service and \"train\".

We found it worthwhile to get a cab from the airport, the transfer bus takes about an hour to get there but nearly 4 hours to get back as it goes around all the other hotels on the way, not the best way to spend your last day on the island.

Hardly anyone speaks English so a French/German/Spanish phrase book would be handy, but that adds to the enjoyment.

Nice pool and surroundings.. Staff are first class very friendly.. The rooms could do with upgrading but other than that its excellent.. This is an ideal family holiday with lovely walks and great beach within walking distance.. Not for anybody who's looking for a bit of night life but a great quite holiday.. Once again the staff are fantastic..

Quiet resort out of season

Clean hotel in quiet location

A good location for a quiet break. The Studio Apartment was clean an functional, but the electrical appliances needed upgrading. Although this location is served by local buses and a tourist 'road train' a car is essential to visit the attractions of Mallorca. A bonus for this location was free off road parking. We used the onsite restaurant for dinner a couple of times, which had a varied menu and food of a high standard.

Definitely recommend for a cheap and easy holiday!

The staff are incredibly helpful, and most speak or at can communicate in English. When we went (end of September), it was very quiet, and the resort was less than 1/3 occupied. The pool and pool area were very clean, and was hardly ever used! There is also a kids area in the pool. The room was clean and very nice. It wasn't the most luxurious of rooms (it didn't have a/c or a safe) but we hardly spent time in it! If going during the peak of summer, I can imagine the rooms get quite hot, but opening the doors after sunset creates a good draft and clears the air quickly. There is a ceiling fan with adjustable speed in the room. Kitchen equipped with basics, but suited us just well.

Not going to sugar coat it, there isn't much in the area. At all. There's the beach, and the mini supermarket. Everything else needs a taxi or if you're renting a car, you'll need to use that.

Walk to the beach is max 10 max. It's a small beach with umbrellas and loungers for rent at 4Euros each/day.

A pleasantly chilled relaxing stay

The apartments were situated in pleasant and relaxing surroundings. The pool area was well built and maintained, the surrounding pool facilities included standing showers and a grassy area complete with sun loungers and bamboo umbrellas. There were games areas which offered pool, table tennis and a children's play area.
There is a bus stop just outside of the premises which is served by the local bus network, there is also a unique tourist bus service called the mini-train ting-ting. This is a highly recommended experience as its open carriage, visits the largest nearest town and circles the area at hourly intervals.
The manager Carmen was extremely pleasant and helpful. She arranged all our transfers and excursions. The most recommended is the 4x4 excursion into the mountainous region, with the added option to drive if you desire!
Compliments to the chef and the staff! Not only was the food fantastic and cost effective, the staff made the whole experience a real delight.

Good Local Beach

The hotel is situated in Cala Romantica, a small lovely beach which doesn't feel touristy. It's a 10 minute walk down to the beach and probably a 15 minute walk (uphill) back from the beach. The hotel staff were nice and the pool nice. It's in a quiet part of the island. If you want to explore more than just Cala Romantica a car is pretty much essential.

If your 30+ or just want to sit and be bored

This is a nice hotel if you just want to relax and be away from shops, restaurants ect.
It's an hour or so away from the Palma nova, where everything is. If you dont hire a car your doomed!!!! Taxi cost about 80erous one way to Palma nova. Expensive!!!
It's mainly for couples 30+ no younger, as you will get bored of all the old faces. But like I said if you just want to relax, no shopping, sight seeing etc. then this is the place for you. I wouldn't go there again only because it was to far from the night life and good shops and restaurants.

Not for the physically challenged

The staff were welcoming and helpful. The s.c. appartment was spacious and clean, supplied with loo roll, towels, t towels and all the usual stuff. The pool is lovely and the food in the restaurant was of good quality, plentiful and reasonably priced. The downside is that it is a good kilometre to the beach(not 400m) down some steep hills with miniscule pavements. Walking back in 37 deg was a nightmare.There is a free 7 seater minibus every 15 mins- its hard to get a seat on though . There is nothing at all to do in the evenings, you need to go into Porto Christo for nightlife and for all shopping( 3km away). There is a massive resort over the road and the noise can be very loud at night. Tell romanticas staff and they get them to turn it down. lovely but isolated ,best with a car. Arrange your own transport from the airport too.

sehr gute Lage ruhig ideal für Erholung etwas renovierungsbedürftig aber für spanische Verhältnisse sehr zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit nur beim Essen brauch man Geduld es ist gut aber es dauert durch das wenige Personal sehr lange. Es gibt Tennis (alt der gut) Billard Tischtennis einen Superpool (sehr guter Zustand) und auch Billard. Es sind 5min zum Strand welcher Super ist

Nous avons séjourné en famille (2 adultes et 3 enfants).
Nous avons séjourné dans un appartement qui faisait plus de 100 m2 c'était très spacieux, avec 2 salle des bains donc super en famille... le confort est simple mais on a manqué de rien, le personnel est très gentil et attentif. la piscine superbe, tout était très calme...on s'est régalés et on a meme regretté notre petit hôtel tranquille lorsque nous sommes partis plus vers majorque dans un plus gros complexe...ca n'avait pas le meme charme...Ici on entend pas les voisins bruyants...

Schönes kleines ruhiges Hotel

Uns hat es hier gut gefallen.
Wir hatten ein Mietauto und waren somit sehr flexibel.

Essen konnte man im zugehörigen Restaurant sehr gut. Personal war immer nett und freundlich.

Zimmer war sauber und Matratze war recht neu.
Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen, wenn man sich selber verpflegen möchte.

Отдых релакс.

Отель находится в тихом удаленном месте, номер-студия номер 12 с большой террасой имеет вид на сторону теннисного корта и немного моря. Утром просыпаешься под пение птиц. Тихо как в деревне. По выходным в соседнем отеле развлекательная программа, она хорошо слышна и тоже нас отчасти развлекала)). В номере есть все необходимое, кроме чайника и фена. Чайник брали с собой, без фена обошлись. Есть два вентилятора потолочный и напольный. Было бы великолепно с кондиционером, но ничего, приспособились. Отель рекомендую тем, кому нужен релакс и спокойствие. Молодёжи там скучно по вечерам. Нам было вполне хорошо. Вай фай только возле ресепшн и слабоватый. Обязательно надо иметь машину, чтоб ездить на пляжи, так как они далеко расположены, идти по жаре утомительно. Также машину надо иметь, чтоб выезжать из этого места для прогулок по Майорке. В целом отдых в этом отеле рекомендую для пар возраста после 45 без детей.

Superbe hôtel familial idéalement situé au calme et à deux pas de la Cala Romantica et Cala Mendia. L’arret de bus juste à la sortie de l’hôtel. Personnel super sympa et serviable.Petit déjeuner basique mais suffisant(Possibilité en payant d'avoir un petit déj anglais)Au niveau confort de la chambre petite cuisine dotée de deux plaques électrique et du matériel pour cuisiner,frigo.Matelas un peu mou,donc mal au dos. L’hôtel propose un superbe carte avec plats locaux et des succulentes pizzas ainsi que la possibilité de manger végétarien.Bref une belle découverte car bien déservie par les bus ainsi qu'à pieds,vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés

hôtel situé au calme, loin du tumulte de Palma. Pas de béton mais de jolis paysages
Appartements vastes et bien équipés. pas de clim, mais des ventilateurs. c'est suffisant. Terrasse.
La piscine est très agréable et il y a suffisamment de chaises longues. le wifi ne fonctionne pas très bien et que autour de l'accueil
Restaurant de l'hôtel très bien. Bon et pas très cher. le personnel parle français
Seul bémol, la piscine de l'hôtel est ouverte à d'autres personnes et des anniversaires y sont organisés. C'est donc très calme le matin et devient très bruyant à partir de 11h. Dommage.
Directement en face de l'hôtel, le club Marmara qui est bruyant le soir . Mais ca reste raisonnable
Hotel a pas plus de 1h des différents sites à visiter sur l'ile. grottes du drach très proches à porto Christo.
Palma est une ville très agréable et magnifique

Ideal für Selbstversorger

Wir hatten zur zweit ein Studio mit Meerblick. Das Zimmer ist nicht klimatisiert, nur ein Ventilator stand zur Verfügung. Die kleine Kochnische war mit allen Utensilien ausgestattet, die man benötigt hatte. Der Pool war gepflegt und sauber. Den Tennisplatz durfte man kostenfrei nutzen. Die Speisen, die wir im Restaurant gegessen haben haben uns geschmeckt - zu Empfehlen Salat mit Mango und Feta.
Die Anlage war sehr ruhig gelegen.
In unmittelbarer Nähe war nicht viel Entertainmentmöglichkeiten, um das Abendprogramm zu gestalten.

Très satisfait de notre séjour dans cet hôtel, personnel très sympa, et serviable. Notre studio était propre, peu d'information concernant le ménage mais nous avons vu les femme de ménage qui s'occuper des chambres après le départ des clients. Durant notre séjour ( fin avril ) le calme était présent par contre l'été quand l'hôtel est complet je pense que les chambres sont insuffisamment isolées phonique ment. L'hôtel est situé à 6 min à pied de la plage et franchement celle ci est superbe, contente que mon hôtel soit si près d'un lieu aussi beau :)

Premettendo che siamo andati fuori stagione, il resort non era pronto ad accogliere clienti.
ristorante fatiscente, servizi inesistenti. Camere scarse. Lenzuola sporche, con macchie gialle evidenti, macchie di sangue secco con capelli&peli annessi di chissà quale precedente cliente.
Letto matrimoniale composto da due materassi singoli. Porta del bagno rotta tappezzata con adesivi.
Irrigazione del giardino comune che inondava il terrazzo, quindi impossibile stendere.
Servizi per stazione o da aeroporto nulli. Informazioni turistiche nulle.
Peccato.

Auf keinen Fall weiter zu empfehlen!!!

Ich habe das Appartment für 3 Wochen (für meine Eltern) gebucht.
Der zustand des Appartments war dermaßen schlecht, hatte nichts mit der Beschreibung auf Hotels.com gemeinsam, Zustand abgewohnt, Zimmer deutlich kleiner als beschrieben, glich einer dunklen Kammer, fast das komplette Möbel Inventar war defekt (Tisch und Stühle). Kein Personal vor Ort, nach einer Woche haben meine den Eltern dort auf eigene Kosten abgebrochen und sich eine neue Unterkunft gesucht

Vaisselles depareillee et salé nous avons dû tout relaver. Plan de travail cassé, pas de pression au robinet et sous la douche. Chasse d'eau qui fuit, matelas usés....bref 1 seul point positif l'appart est vaste.

Nie wieder.

Wir hatten ein Studio mit Frühstück gebucht. Fangen wir mit dem Frühstück an. Kaffee aus Pats, wenn die Maschine lief, Aufschnitt täglich gleich. Dauerwurst, Käse, Formschinken. Einmal in der Woche wurde die Dauerwurst durch Schinken ersetzt. Frühstücksei erst nach Aufforderung. Salz war nur einmal vorhanden.
Obst wenn da dann alt, Fruchtsaft billig.
Zimmer: Wurde in den 9 tagen aufenthalt 2 mal gereinigt. Reinigung bestand aus fegen. Auch Badezimmer nur durch Waschbecken gewischt. Betten wurden 1 mal,bei Wäschewechsel, gemacht.Schrank mit 5 Bügel. Kein Haken für Jacken. Nichts. Haben aus dem Koffer gelebt.
Fazit. War das Geld nicht wert.

Licht und leider auch Schatten

Wir waren zwei Wochen im Juli/August. 2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind (13 J.). Wir hatten ein Appartment für 3 Personen mit einem sep. Schlafzimmer und einer Schlafcouch.
Es ist eine sehr sympatische Anlage mit mehreren Häusern - insgesamt aber ehr klein. Der Empfang war freundlich und sachlich, das Zimmer war bei unserer frühen Anreise um 10 Uhr bereits fertig. Das Appartment war sehr groß mit schönem Blick über die Wäldchen bis zum Meer. Die Ausstattung war sehr nüchtern aber ausreichend und funktionell. Das Bad war recht neu und gut. Am Preis gemessen war es ein wirklich gutes Appartment. Die Lage war angenehm ruhig. Es wurden keine Liegen reserviert. Es war total entspannt. Ein Auto ist aber unerlässlich.
Es gibt zwei Gründe warum ich trotzdem nicht mehr hinfahren würde und es tut mir total leid, weil es eigentlich wirklich schön da war.
1. Die fehlende Klimaanlage. Das ist keine Kritik, denn das war mir vorher bekannt. Würde ich aber im Hochsommer trotzdem nicht nochmal machen.
2. Die Matratzen waren eigentlich keine Matratzen. Und das ist jetzt eine ernsthafte Kritik. Da muss unbedingt was passieren. Da war zwischen den Sprungfedern und einem selbst nur noch ein Hauch von Stoff. Meine Frau hat sich die Polster der Wohnzimmersessel noch untergelegt, sonst hätte sie da gar nicht liegen können.
Die Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer war OK.
Eine Klimaanlage und unbedingt neue Matratzen, dann würde ich da ganz bestimmt nochmal hinfahren.

Un séjour agréable

Nous sommes partis fin juin 2015 et nous avons été agréablement surpris par Majorque que nous imaginions plus fréquentée. l'hotel est idéalement placé à 900m d'une plage magnifique et très familiale. Le personnel est à l'écoute et très sympathique. Après en plein boom estival, ils sont complets et donc surement un peu moins disponibles.

Nicht mehr wieder! TEIL 1

Wir waren schon mal vor 4 Jahren dort und hatten wunderbare Erinnerungen an die Anlage.
Entweder sind unsere Ansprüche gestiegen oder die Anlage hat massiv abgebaut. Man muss zunächst ein paar Abstriche machen, da es den typischen spanischen Flair hat. Unser Zimmerchen benötigt definitiv einen neuen Anstrich, neues Mobiliar sowie eine neue Küchenzeile. Wir haben Ewigkeiten ausprobieren müssen wie z.b. der 2 - Platten-Kocher funktioniert, da die Beschriftung nicht mehr erkennbar war. Zudem konnte auch immer nur eine Platte aus Platzmangel benutzt werden. Bei den Küchenutensilie sah es nicht besser aus. Es war alles ziemlich gebraucht und hatte die minimale Stückzahl (2 Messer, 2 Gabeln , 2 Tassen usw.) sowie mangelnde Vielfalt. Der Kühlschrank hat uns die Nächte sehr geräuschvoll versüßt. Es hat zunächst ewig gedauert bis er auf Temperatur war und das kleine Eisfach benutzt werden konnte. Wir mussten ihn in der Nacht immer mal wieder runterschalten, damit wir in Ruhe schlafen konnten.

Aufgrund der Wärme haben wir nachts die Terrasentüren offen gehabt. Neben den Kühlschrankgeräuschen hat auch die Anlage hinter uns mit ihren Animationen und lauter Musik das einschlafen erschwert. Da wir einen Tennisplatz direkt hinter unserem Apartment hatten waren die Nächte regelmäßig gegen 8 Uhr vorbei, da dort schon früh gespielt wurde.

Der Chef war sehr nett, die beiden männlichen Servicekräfte dagegen nicht sehr gast- und serviceorientiet.....

Zu unserer Reisezeit Anfang Juni, ein sehr ruhiges Hotel, welches man gut als Startpunkt für Erkundungstouren der Mallorcinischen Ostküste nutzen kann.Die Poolanlage war sehr gepflegt. Empfehlen kann man vorallem das Hotel eigene Restaurant. Zimmer waren sehr rustikal eingerichtet. Das Nötigste war aber vorhanden.

Zwar sind die Zimmer nicht in modernsten zustand, doch sind alle mit einem grossen Balkon und wohnzimmer ausgestattet.
Das personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
Der Außenbereich mit pool und Liegewiese waren sehr hübsch. Auf einer grossen Terrasse wurde das Frühstück serviert, mit frisch gebrühtem Café und reichlicher Auswahl.
Perfekt für alle die etwas Ruhe in schöner Umgebung genießen wollen.

extérieur pas mal (jardin-piscine-vue sur mer) - les studios sont petits, la déco et le mobilier sont très anciens, odeur de renfermé - le coin cuisine est vétuste (frigo hyper bruyant dans la chambre) plaques électriques anciennes) - dans la salle de bain rideau de douche inefficace (la salle de bain devient piscine après une douche) - La TV capte 2 chaines seulement et en espagnol...Pour compenser, le petit déjeuner devrait être compris.

gutes Appartementhotel in der Nebensaison

angenehme Appartementanlage. schöner Sandstrand zu Fuß erreichbar (ca. 15-20 min). kleiner Supermarkt ein ganzes Stück zu Fuß Richtung Strand (in der Nebensaison nichts anderes näheres entdeckt).
Appartement war sauber. Größe Ok. Kochgelegenheit ja (genau 2 Gabeln, 2 Löffel, 2 Messer, ...) Man kann mit etwas Geschick auch was leckeres Zubereiten. Aber um richtig zu kochen ....
Wir hatten einen schönen Balkon mit Meerblick.
In der Anlage und um die Anlage herum zahlreiche Tennisplätze, auf denen aber nicht (kaum) gespielt wurde. Wenn hier ein \"Tennisverein\" einen Trainingsurlaub durchführen würde während ich da bin ... ich würde verrückt werden, da die Hartplätze ziemlich laut sind, direkt vor den Balkonen liegen und teilweise beleuchtet sind. Den Pool in der Mitte der Anlage haben wir nicht genutzt, schien aber sauber zu sein. Parkmöglichkeiten für Leihwagen ausreichend vorhanden. Kostenloses WLAN nur im zentralen Hauptgebäude (Restaurant).
Aufgrund der abgelegenen Lage sollte bei Selbstversorgung ein Auto vorhanden sein.

Fint hotell i rolige omgivelser

Vi var på hotellet med 2 voksne og 2 barn (14/16). Hotellet ligger litt avsides, men kort vei til havet og hyggelige uteområder på hotellet. Hyggelig restaurant som vi brukte relativt hyppig. Vi hadde bil tilgjengelig under oppholdet og fartet rundt på øya. Greit med bil i forhold til kjøp av mat og forbruksvarer.
Oppfatter oppholdet som en avslappende og godt ferieopphold med god service på hotellet, service vennlig personale og god lokal restaurant. Store hotellrom med god standard.

Kleine Appartmentanlage in schöner Ortsrandlage

Kurztrip im Oktober, das Wetter war super, baden im Meer und im schönen und sauberen Pool hat viel Spass gemacht. Mietwagen war wichtig, Ausflugsziele gibt es reichlich und für jeden findet sich etwas.Lärm vom Nachbarhotel störte ziemlich in der Nacht.

Sehr schöne und gepflegte kleine Anlage

Wenn man Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit liebt absolut empfehlenswert. Eine süße kleine Appartmentanlage mit einem tollen sauberen Pool und einem sehr gepflegten Außengelände.
Wir hatten eine kleines 1-Zimmer-Appartment, es war etwas rustikal eingerichtet, aber trotzdem schön, gepflegt und sauber. In der kleinen Küchenzeile (ca 1,50 m breit) im Eingangsbereich befinden sich ein Zweiplattenherd, ein Spülbecken, darüber ein großer Heißwasserbeuler (der auch das Wasser für die Dusche aufheizt), ein Hängeschrank mit Geschirr, Gläsern und Töpfen.
Im Schrank darunter weitere Kochutensilien. Weiterhin gibt es eine Mikrowelle, eine kleine Kaffeemaschine und einen Kühlschrank.
Das Badezimmer hat moderne Standards, eine große begehbare Dusche mit Duschvorhang chick mit Mosaikfließen, ein modernes breites Waschbecken und eine sehr sauberes neues WC.
Zum Zimmer gehört noch eine ca 3 x 3 m große Terasse.

Auf dem Gelände befindet sich auch das modern eingerichtet Restaurant (es ist zugleich Bar und Rezeption) mit einer sehr schönen Terasse in dem man ab 8.00 Uhr schon ab 4 Euro frühstücken kann. Die Gastgeber sind herzlich und sehr zuvorkommend.

Ruhige Lage. \nSuper nettes Personal.

Die Anlage war sehr schön und in sehr ruhiger Lage fernab des Massentourismus. Zum Strand waren es ca 10 min zu Fuß.
Das Zimmer war ein wenig muffig, hat aber sonst gepasst.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
Für den Preis sowieso absolut empfehlenswert.

Non c'è aria condizionata in camera ma solo nella hall dove la connessione wifi è ballerina.
Al ristorante la cucina è molto buona mentre le stanze non hanno bidet, vasca senza cabina doccia.
Posizione tranquilla in zona vicina a molti paesini oltre a manacor.

wir hatten eine eigenes appartment im parterre mit eigener terrass und pool.
ein grosses schlafzimmer, ein wohnzimmer ein kleines zimmer, küche und bad.
die zimmer waren sauber. das bad hatte kleine kosmetische fehler (kleine roststellen an der badewanne, beschichtung der badewanne...) aber war soweit ebenfalls sauber. der frühstückskaffee war super. das frühstücksbuffet war leicht ausreichend.
die entfernung zum strand. ca. 5 minuten zu fuss
alles in allem kann ich das haus mit gutem gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Nach 2 Nächten ausgezogen,keine klimaanlage trotz 3 1/2 Sterne auslobung,Betten waren Feldbetten aus
millitär Beständen,Trotz nichtraucher Hotel eingequalmt von Zimmernachbarn,Dusche war Betonboden mit
Kieselsteinen und Schimmel,TV ein ganz kleiner Röhrenapparat mit 3 Sendern halt Alt.
Strand ohne auto nicht zu erreichen,umgebung trostlos,nächster Supermarkt 30 Min. zu fuß.
Küchen ausrüstung ausgesprochen alt und verbraucht.
Essen im Hotelrestaurant: Bestellung dauerte bis Servieren 1 1/2 Stunden obwohl nur Pizza u. Nudelgericht
und dann weniger appetitlich.
Fazit: eine einzige Katastrophe,allgemeine Warnung hier zu nächtigen.

Hôtel agréable

Séjour de 9 nuits du 14 au 23 septembre dans cet hôtel de CALA MENDIA, à 5mn en voiture de Porto Cristo.
Nous avons pu pleinement profiter des belles plages de la côte est de l'île : cala Mesquida, S'amarador (parc naturel de MONDRAGO), visiter Coves des Drach et monter vers FORMENTOR.
L'île n'est pas très grande et le réseau routier est bien entretenu, donc on se déplace facilement.

Petit bémol concernant la nourriture, puisque les paellas sont systématiquement proposées pour 2 personnes (embêtant si votre moitié n'aime pas le riz :)

Le climat était bon : entre 25 et 28° tous les jours, avec des nuits fraîches (15°) et un jour de pluie totale.

Note aux électro-sensibles : une antenne relais de téléphone trône au beau milieu du parking de l'hôtel, donc évitez les chambres qui se trouvent à côté.

Zweckmäßiges, aber gutes Hotel.

Wir haben eine Woche im Hotel Apartamentos Sol Romantica verbracht. Es gibt mehrere kleine Wohnblöcke mit Appartements einen Pool und ein Haus mit Restaurant/Rezeption. Die Ankunft (wir nutzen für die Woche einen Mietwagen, sehr empfehlenswert für eine entspannte Anreise zum Hotel, dort gibt es auch einen großen Parkplatz) gestaltete sich problemlos, ebenso wie der Check-In.
Das Zimmer besaß ein Bad mit Dusche, eine Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank/Mirkowelle/2 Herdplatten und vollständigem Geschirr. Sonst gibt es natürlich ein Bett und einen (kleinen) Flachbildfernseher (nur nationale TV-Sender gefunden).
Bei der ersten Untersuchung des Hotelzimmers mussten wir ein paar Haare aus dem Bett entfernen und auch den Toilettendeckel sicherheitshalber einmal desinfizieren sowie das Geschirr vor Benutzung nochmal spülen, aber insgesamt war das Zimmer halbwegs sauber.
Wir unternahmen täglich Ausflüge sodass wir uns im Hotel selbst quasi nur zum Schlafen aufgehalten haben. Gegessen haben wir im Hotelrestaurant auch nicht, daher können wir dazu leider keine Aussage treffen. (Abends war das Hotel/Restaurant aber immer gut besucht.)
Wir nutzten die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in den umliegenden Ortschaften (Porto Christo und in der Nähe von Manacor) mehr, als jene in Cala Romantica selbst, da es hier nur etwas teurere Spar-Märkte gibt und kochten dann selbst.

Fazit: Wenn man das Hotel vor allem als Stützpunkt versteht, um eine ganz wunderbare Insel zu entdecken, ist man hier genau richtig.

Séjour excellent!! Il ft absolument y aller!!

Personnel adorable, accueillant et très professionnel, nourriture délicieuse, propreté irréprochable, hôtel très calme, idéal pr passer des vacances reposantes!!!piscine au top et à 3 min de la première plage! L'année prochaine, j'y retourne et ce sera ds cet hôtel incontestablement!!Et puis l'île est juste somptueuse, entre mer et montagne, ornée de palmiers ts aussi beaux les uns que les autres et calas ttes aussi magiques les unes que les autres!!Bref, il faut compter au moins 1 bonne semaine/10 jours pr tt voir en prenant son temps. Nous, le seul regret c'est de n'être restées que 5 jours...un peu du mal à se réhabituer au climat français..ds ts les sens du terme!!^^Viva Espana! Viva Mallorca!!:-)))

Ruhige Apartments abseits der Touristenströme

Etwas abseits von Porto Cristo (ca.5min mit dem Auto) befindet sich das SOL ROMANTICA mit einer gepflegten ruhigen Anlage bestehend aus einem sehr netten Polbereich und den klassischen Liegen inkl. Strohhut.
Das Restaurant im Loungecharakter verschafft ein sehr angenehmes Ambiente beim Frühstück und zu jeder anderen Stunde des Tages.
Das Personal ist insgesamt sehr freundlich und stets entgegenkommend und hilfsbereit.

Die Zimmer sind in einem gepflegten und sauberen Zustand. Teils ist die Einrichtung noch etwas älter (z.B. die Betten) Allerdings wird nach und nach die Einrichtung modernisiert. Das Bad ist neu renoviert gewesen.

La localización era muy tranquila. El apartamento era adecuado, aunque la cocina estaba todo lo que necesitabas pero demasiado pequeña y antigua, creo que ganaria mucho si la reformaran.
Espacios comunes muy bien.
Wifi solo en los espacios comunes.
Baño muy muy bien, recien reformado.
Ambiente muy tranquilo.

Das Hotel liegt nicht am Strand, mit einem Mietauto (das auf Mallorca sowieso Pflicht ist :-) ist dies aber kein Problem. Die Ausstattung ist einfach aber schön eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Frühstück gut und das Essen im Restaurant wirklich fantastisch! Das Zimmer war sauber, allerdings mussten wir für neue Frotteetücher nachfragen, die wurden nicht einfach gewechselt und das Zimmer wurde nicht jeden Tag gemacht (was aber bei dem Preis auch nicht erwartet werden darf). Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ist sensationell!

Hotel tranquilo, con zonas algo descuidadas

Muy buena ubicación, a 5min de la formidable cala romántica. Hotel pequeño y tranquilo, aunque se oyen algo las fiestas del hotel vecino. Zona d piscina bien cuidada. Resto algo dejada. Apartamento muy amplio, le faltarian un par de detalles para dejarlo acogedor. Algo viejo. Colchones de muelles en mal estado. Algo de olor a humedad.
