Great stay!

Great hotel. The staff are so attentive & welcoming. The food is varied and good quality. Lots of drinks options. The rooms are spacious and bright. Entertainment was great.

A few negatives.. the shower handle was broken. You had to go to reception to get a new towel which you need a shuttle for and not available until 10am. Sometimes a long wait for the shuttle. Also had to pay deposit for towel which seems unnecessary.

Overall had a great experience, would definitely recommend.

We traveled from USA, so our perspective might be a little different. we are comparing it to Carribian.

Overall property was clean, staff was helpful and courteous. For this being an all-inclusive resort, it didn't meet our expectations from a value standpoint.

Beach - beautiful public beach, excellent location. towards the end of the week, the beach was noticeably dirty (plastic trash, which is a shame). this is something property can not control.

entertainment - they had nightly events, and various activities planned throughout the day. The best one was the magic show. rest was okay.

Food and Drinks - this is where we were very much disappointed. there was only really one restaurant that served buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner. some changes and rotations but we got pretty bored after three days. Also, my wife got an upset stomach from eating oysters. also no food after 10 PM

Quality of the Place. - this was another disappointment. we had reserved Superior Beach Bungalow. Was a bit of a shock to see one rectangular room with minimal Ikea-type furniture. there was no real privacy in the bathroom, a glass door for the shower, and a toilet with a sink in the bedroom. you wake up the whole room by going to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

to top that off, with no proper drawers to put your stuff away, they also charged additional money to use the room safe. I have never seen that in any other property ever, let alone an all-inclusive.

I loved the fact that the accommodation was small apartments of 3 attached together and dotted about, so we didn't feel like they'd squashed as many people in as possible. It was a bit of a trek for us to walk back to our room as it was probably one of the furthest away from the reception/pool area but we'd just make sure we had everything we needed for the day so we didn't need to go back and forth. The staff were brilliant, the aqua zumba and aerobics classes were fun to partake in, evening entertainment was definitely above average! Food was standard for an all inclusive European holiday, we found the options at tea time were better than lunch. Going in July I expected the sunbeds around the pool to be taken up very quickly but that was not the case so we ended up with the entire pool to ourselves until about 10.30-11am(ish) before all of the children turned up. Overall I had a lovely time and would recommend for a little break away of up to a week.

So much potential. But under delivers

A few big let downs of this hotel. These my top 3
1. No Air con in a room with no proper ventilation. The room had 1 small window in the toilet. The front door was a sliding glass door.
2. Only 1 pool in a very big hotel so the pool area got very crowded very quickly. Considering how big the hotel was, you would of expected more than 1 swimming pool.
3. The snack bar had very limited stuff items to eat

However the staff was very friendly and the hotel was kept quiet clean throughout.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner was pleasent although we found ourselves looking for somewhere to sit if we went to dinner alittle later with tables reserved throughout the evening and no one using the space.

If you choose this hotel would suggest not staying to many days

If you arrive with zero expectations, you may be pleasantly surprised. However if you arrive with reasonable expectations (comfy bed, insect free room, warm shower) you will be VERY disappointed. Rooms are old, woke up every night to have spiders and insects in my room - beds are similar to camp beds and the showers don’t work. Oh and rooms are damp and musty.

But the hotel is on the most beautiful beach.

Its a 3 star hotel and if your expecting more, you need to book a different hotel. The hotel is kept clean which is the main thing, it doesn't claim to be more than it is. The food is good and for what you paid for the hotel you will be happy, there is more than enough to keep everyone happy. I

Broken shower ,broken sink ,door did not lock and was charged to use a safe even though the room was not Sucre.double bed was actually to single beds pushed together that you feel threw ,was promised kettle and brew facilities in room on day of arrival (it never turned up) . most toilets on site blocked or broken.most drinks machines on site was broken or turned off. The luggage room windows was broken and just plastic bagged over .Not a lot to do onsite and entertainment was same stuff every day.only good thing about the site is how clean your room is .

4 holidays here in 5 years speaks for itself

stayed for the forth time in 5 years. lovely hotel. not too busy but lively enough. food very nice and plenty of choice. service excellent. staff excellent. rooms spacious and cleaned well. reception sorted rooms we asked for and were incredibly helpful. area lovely in a nice little cove but with town walking distance over the cliffs. i love this hotel and will continue to come when i can. it is probably not suited to anyone looking for a party or club scene, but for couples, families or singles looking for a pleasant, holiday, it's great. sea is beautiful, little bungalows are peaceful and safe. above all the staff do everything they can to help and make holiday what you want it to be.

No fridge in room, no internet in room or WiFi as you have to pay for it, one bed had a broken leg and not comfortable to sleep,, I paid more on arrival for hotel not the same as shown on reservation, the room was far from recption and the beach but it was ok to walk, the place is extremely calm, and far from the city and you can't find close shop, but the beach is really nice.

We enjoyed our couple of nights all-inclusive break in Club Tropicana. The rooms were dated but comfortable. Facilities were basic but adequate. Food was average but tasty enough. Staff were friendly across the hotel, but check-in took an hour (early afternoon) and there were only 3 couples ahead of us in the queue. (We weren't the only guests to experience this.) Beach was mostly clean, disappointing it was so very expensive to hire beds and umbrellas. The pool was clean and there were enough loungers. The rooms were in blocks of three, all single-storey, with paths and gardens between them so it didn't seem like you were overlooked or in an awful high-rise block. This did mean it was a fair walk (10 minutes) from the furthest blocks but there was a regular minibus if needed. The blocks closest to the pool, beach and reception would probably be a bit noisy with lots of passers-by so we were glad to be further away.

Great staff, accommodation needs some work

Staff extremely helpful especially the girls on reception, the entertainment staff always creating a wonderful atmosphere. Only thing to let this place down is the accommodation, the rooms are damp, beds are old and uncomfortable and the doors are sliding doors with poor locks, so much so we and 4 other rooms got broken into and had some of our stuff stolen. Luckily we paid for the safe to put our money and passports in. Reception staff where excellent when dealing with this unfortunate event, moving us to a closer room, paying for our taxi to the police station and allowing us to check out late. If there’s one small improvement I would like to see is for the hotel to hire some security to patrol the grounds at night.

We were a group of four couples staying for four daysThe check in was quick, our rooms were up a slight hill about a five minute walk, or the minibus came every ten mins if we didn,t want to walk. The restaurant staff were excellent always reserving a large table for us and food was great .good selection and always hot we will be back!

I paid middle price butwas the furthest from beach so upgraded which cost me extra 86 euros for 4 nights the food wasnt great , and the cocktails never had any alcohol in unless you asked for it pool freezing also was my birthday on my vacation thats what went for and my husband even reminded them yet nothing was done but was for all other guests until my husband went down and complained

We were moved to another hotel as our room hax apparently been flooded by rain the previous day. It was an hour drive away so cost us additional fuel. It was 4 star and therefore cost double the tourist levy. It wouldn't have been so bad had we known the day before. They told us after they had put the all inclusive bands on our wrists!

I first visited Club Tropicana 20 years ago returning this year with my grandchild. Worth paying for the upgrade if you have any mobility issues. We had the basic accommodation which was fine and very quiet but be prepared to walk or catch minibus to get to pool & restaurant. Would benefit from tea & coffee facilities in the room. Evening entertainment and activities ion offer in the day are excellent.

Just back from 2 weeks at club hotel Tropicana. Enjoyed our holiday. Weather lovely and plenty of food and drink with all inclusive option. Food lacks variety but plenty of it. Snack bar great for relaxed lunch option. Nice beach just steps away and access into town by walking over the headland. Lots of loungers around the pool, most reserved with towels by 1030 but large garden area for sunbathing. Pool closed on 2 occasions, once for over 24 hours, not the fault of the hotel but could sorely do with separate kids pool or 2nd pool, options limited during the closures. Room basic enough, no hairdryer so bring your own. Tv had only 2 english speaking news channels, no kids channels in any language, and reception poor at times. €40 for room safe for 2 weeks very expensive. Wifi another €25. Cleaning was good apart from when regular cleaner off duty, no shower gel, soap or towels replaced. Our room only few minutes walk from pool so was very handy but the site is very spreadout so minibus transfers available within the site. On site entertainment was good, archery, shooting, french bowls, darts, bingo, exercise classes and nightly shows. Kids really enjoyed the shows. 1 show in poor taste, dance 'sketch ' with Sting's Roxanne of woman pushed from 1 male dancer to the next, not impressed. Disclaimer beforehand saying it wasn't meant to be disrespectful to women says it all. Overall had a good time, very relaxing ans would definitely recommend.

The situation of this hotel is amazing.Right on a lovely beach. The staff were so hard working. The food was excellent. I was worried there wouldn't be enough to entertain my 12 and 13 year old boys but the entertainment staff work tirelessly. There was archery, shooting, volleyball, football and water polo and the evening entertainment was great. Aquarobics and Zumba and a great size pool. You have to pay for sunbeds on the beach so I would swim in the sea and go back to the pool to sunbathe.
The only downside was our room- a sort of chalet was a long way from the centre of things and fairly basic but as we only used it to shower and sleep I'd definitely recommend it. There was a minibus shuttle to the rooms if you wanted it and you could pay to upgrade to closer rooms.
We went on a glass bottomed boat trip which was great but otherwise we didn't leave the resort and so much was included we barely spent any money.
We definitely want to go again. It was great value, a really nice mix of nationalities and we had a great time. Next time I'd maybe try and see more of the island

Needs some money spent on it

I enjoyed our week away as it was the first time I have taken my daughter abroad, but the hotel is dated and could do with some money being spent on it. However the whole complex was clean and generally well presented. The rooms have NO AIR CON, just a ceiling fan. The only way we could sleep was under soaked towels, not good! My daughter loved the mini disco initially but it was exactly the same every night. The needed some variety to keep it fun. The main desk staff were abrupt and sometimes rude but the entertainment staff and restaurant staff worked tirelessly - I couldn't fault them. Food was plentiful but repetitive and fairly plain. The beach and pool were both clean and safe. Powerful waves came into the bay each day so fun for a little while but my young daughter eventually preferred the safety of the pool. The hotel is fairly remote. There is no local town to wander into for a change of scenery but there are nice boat trips up the coast available. The complex is sprawling and some rooms require a minibus to reach, so beware and spend a little more on a room closer to the centre. Anything over no.200 is a fair walk. Overall we had a good week, but if I were to return to Mallorca I would book somewhere closer to a little town to avoid feeling 'trapped' at the hotel. Cala d'or looked lovely when we drove through!

Amazing all inclusive holiday! The staff were amazing and the selection of food for all meals is great. I truly enjoyed this holiday and would return again in a moments notice. Perfect for couples and family's. Plenty on offer in terms of entertainment. Great selection of alcoholic drinks all included in all inclusive.

The restaurant and bar over looked the see and a small beach wich is nice however our apartment was over 1/2 a mile away up an hill . They did have a bus service if you wanted to waight for it. Food was good and staff friendly and helpful. No air conditioning in the room so wouldn't recommend going in August.

Tropicana is bungalows set in lovely surroundings , it is well maintained by the staff rooms are very clean although can be a little cold if the weather is not so good.There is plenty of choice at all meal times and the food is really nice. Plenty of choice of drinks and cocktails , staff are very friendly and helpful.
I really enjoyed my stay and hope to go back again, I have been told it is going to have an major refurb for 2018 .

Charming characterful hotel but needs updating

as our headline says great atmosphere , brilliant staff , Miguel and Micky the entertainment staff were fantastic , always fun and engaging. Bar staff were always smiling and eager to please. Overall our expectations were exceeded , a holiday is as much about how you are looked after as much as how new the hotel is. In all great relaxing week , food was far better than we expected ............... You get what you pay for but this was excellent value for money , big thank you to all the staff

Riu Tropicana Hotel and facilities

Our family of four, 2 adults and boys aged 11 and 15, all enjoyed our 2 week stay. Rooms were comfortable, food was plentiful, varied and good and there was plenty to do aside from swimming. Tours to other parts of the island can be easily arranged through a choice of tour companies in the main foyer.
This was the first time that we have ever gone on an all inclusive holiday and we would certainly do so again.

Tolles Hotel mit erstklassigem Programm für Kinder. Fast jeden morgen gab es Kinderschminken am Frühstücksbuffet und immer viel Programm am Pool. Sehr weitläufige Anlage mit super Badebucht! Transfers zwischen Zimmer, Strand und Rezeption gab es durch regelmäßige Golfkart-Busse. Das Essen und die Cocktails waren super. Insgesamt war es ein perfekter Urlaub. Wir kommen wieder!

Die Anlage und Zimmer sehr sauber. Sehr viele Eltern mit Kleinkinder. Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das essen ist sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Anlage ist groß, vom Poolbar oder Strandbar braucht man weile berghoch zu laufen, es gibt kleine ShuttleBusse, die die Gäste zur Rezeption und Hauptrestaurant bringen, allerdings fahren sie wann sie wollen und ziemlich wild, in allen sinnen des Wortes.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit im Hotel. Die Anlage wird sehr gepflegt, das Personal wirkt sehr happy und bemüht sich sehr, das Essen ist sehr lecker, frisch und abwechslungsreich. Der einzige Minuspunkt ist leider der Steinbiden am Pool, er ist sehr, sehr rutschig und mehrfach am Tag sieht man jemanden hinfallen, das war sehr gefährlich (und denselben Boden hat man in den Zimmern). Ansonsten alles top, würden auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen.

Chambre petite sans possibilités de rangement avec lavabo dans la chambre avec une salle de bains toilette tres exiguë avec la presence de 🐜. Le frigo en panne signalé mais pas réparé durant notre sejour. Très grand complexe tres étendu dans un vallon avec une petite plage public surveillée ,desservi par des navettes. Buffets variés et copieux animations en bas du site sympathiques.Piscine du haut tres animé, plus calme celle du bas. Restaurant du bas equivalent a celui du haut à reserver pour le soir.Personnel attentionné et agréable autant acceuil que service et restauration.

La struttura è nuova arredata con gusto con camere dislocate in piccole casette in un bellissimo parco. Anche la spiaggia è molto bella anche se comunale c è la possibilità di affittare sdraio e ombrellone. Il mare è cristallino. Tutto perfetto, cibo incluso

Mir hat es gefallen, dass man auf die Bedürfnisse der Gäste einging. Weniger gefallen hat mir, dass das Personal nicht von selbst auf Lösungssuche geht bzw. Nur dann etwas macht, wenn man ausdrücklich darum bittet. Die erste Antwort ist immer „haben wir nicht, geht nicht, ist sehr schwierig“. Erst nachdem man nachbohrt wird eine Lösung gefunden. Es haben mir Liegen auf der Dachterasse gefehlt. Ebenso haben Kosmetiktücher in den Zimmern gefehlt.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön. Der Service und das Essen ist hervorragend. Die Bucht ist traumhaft. Doch leider sind die Bungalow und die gesamte Anlage in die Jahre gekommen. (Grünspan an den wasserhähnen, Schimmel in der Dusche, Sanitären Anlagen im Hauptgebäude).
Aber anscheinend wird nun alles Neu gemacht. Wir haben gesehen, dass bereits Bauarbeiten in gange sind.

O hotel é muito grande e conta com uma praia praticamente privativa.
A comida oferecida no All Inclusive era de boa qualidade e atendeu bem a expectativa.
Só havia um tipo de chopp e não era dos melhores.
Também sentimos falta de um bar mais proximo a praia para atender aos hospedes.
Mas no geral foi um bom custo / beneficio.

Die Unterkunft war zweckmäßig. Wir haben aber eine Klimatisierung vermisst.
Die Gebäude heizen sich tagsüber sehr stark auf.
Das Essen und die Anlage insgesamt waren aber in Ordnung.

Vacaciones en familia

Hemos ido una familia de 6 personas, teníamos dos habitaciones, por suerte nos tocaron las habitaciones casi cerca de la recepción y de los restaurantes eso nos dijeron tardabamos 7 minutos en llegar a pleno sol con 34 grados una suerte si, y si no pues esperaras una furgoneta con 7 plazas que te lleva a tu habitación eso si no hay una cola de gente esperando y en ka furgo hace más calor que en la calle casi,. La pisci bastante pequeña para tanta gente, el césped por llamarlo césped es paja seca, la habitación llena de hormigas, un día llamamos a las 3 no han hecho la habitación a las 6 vuelvo a llamar y vine una chica encantadora hace la habitación impecable. Día siguiente pasamos todo el día fuera volvemos 9 de la noche sorpresa habitación sin hacer, llamamos y nos dicen que ya nadie puede hacerla toallas sucias habitación llena de hormigas, bajamos a recepción a poner una reclamación, sorpresa no podemos ponerla no hay nadie ni el encargado ni el director, nos dicen de volver al día siguiente, volvemos al dia siguiente a ponerla su explicación hat chicas nuevas y tampoco ven tan grave que no nos hagan la habitación, para eso pagamos no? En fin no creo que volvamos la comida siempre lo mismo poca variedad, los horarios de comida para estranjeros totalmente y si llegabas a las 9 que era la última hora de la cena ya están quitando la comida.
Lo mejor del hotel los animadores y el personal de limpieza del comedor.
Para mi parecer Le sobra una estrella, necesita reforma.

Schöne Anlage mit schöner Bucht.
Zimmer leider ohne Klimaanlage, sonst wäre der Aufenthalt super gewesen.
Leider bekommt man auch nur alle Getränke in Plastikbecher.

Un bon hôtel

Le cadre de l hôtel est parfait, de petits bâtiments noyés dans la nature certains un peu loin mais il y a une navette qui passe sans arrêt. Sauf bémol pas de clim dans les chambres le ventilateur plafond pas efficace. Pas assez de pression ni assez d'eau chaude dans les douches. Restaurant très bien, nourriture variée. Le personnel est agréable et serviable autant au restaurant que dans les bars et disponible à l'accueil. Piscine très propre. La plage est très bien un peu de monde l'eau claire. Les équipes d'animation sont au top ainsi que les spectacles de soir. Un autre bémol l'odeur des égouts certains soirs sur la terrasse. Pour notre part nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

Super sted, taget pris i betragtning. Virkelig god strand. Maden er over forventning, igen taget pris i betragtning.

Der er desværre ikke AirCon på værelserne, men dette kan dog lejes til EUR 75 per uge, hvilket vi gjorde. De skulle overveje at installere dette på alle værelser og blot hæve prisen.

Eine hübsch angelegte Anlage mit viel Garten, Palmen und blühenden Blumen. Direkter Zugang zum Meer.
Die Zimmer sind der Urlaubsregion ansprechend, sauber und ordentlich angelegt und eingerichtet.
Jederzeit freundliches Personal. Es gibt nichts zu meckern!

Nous avons été accueil par une dame très sympathique qui parlait le français. Les animateurs super sympa. Piscine très jolie et propre. Mini bus de l hôtel gratuit. Je suis très satisfaite de mon séjour la bas. L installation de la climatisation dans les chambre serait le top. Sonon je recommande rapport qualité-prix exceptionnel. Un endroit qui convient aux familles.
