The entire hotel was very clean, including the spa/sauna, restaurant and outdoor area. Shower pressure & temperature no problems, comfy bed, and a nice balcony.
I selected half board option and I'm glad I did! Both breakfast and dinner buffet were plentiful and fresh, different types of food to chose from, and every day there was something different for the main for dinner. I was so full after breakfast so I didn't really need to have lunch during my stay.

There were also some nice cafes and restaurants close to the hotel, and the beach was just a stone's throw away. The beach parasol, sunbed and security box were so affordable to rent for the whole day (about £16 pp), unlike other Mediterranean beach resort.

Reception, restaurant waiting staff, housekeeping staff were all friendly and kind. I'd definitely come back to this hotel again for a relaxing solo holiday :)

(*One request I have for the hotel would be to have a kettle in a room, or rent a kettle at the front desk!)

Loved the spa and food choices were good.

However, there were limited labels on the food so it's pot luck what you put in your mouth sometimes. Every food item needs a correct label!!

Room not very well cleaned at all (surfaces with bits on, phone caked in dust, random hairs here and there, and shower had some plastic left in it) and think it's wrong that you have to pay for a safe! We locked things in our suitcase instead but it's not ideal.

This hotel could be amazing if there weren't so many cost cutting shortcuts e.g. better cleanliness in the rooms, provide shampoo and pool towels for free, tissues and a bin in the room, etc. Also allow free water in the half board meal. We were told off for bringing our own water bottles in!

Overall was good value for money due to the spa being included, but wouldn't have been happy if the price was higher.

The hotel is renovated, with large and clean rooms. 5 stars for daily cleaning and towel changes. The food is practically the same every day, but there's a wide selection. A big plus for the beautiful beach across from the hotel, although sunbeds are available for a fee. Unfortunately, the pools aren't heated. Overall, it was a very pleasant vacation.

- First day I got here I used the drink machine and a dead fly came out. Not sure how often it’s cleaned
- No water in gym, in fact no place to fill up water bottle. You have to pay for water, even though they say they care about single use plastic. They don’t.
- Can only get a beach towel if you pay a cash deposit of €10. They don’t take card for this.
- When checking in, no one offered to take my bag in. Customer service in general is 3/10
- No water or kettle in room
- No iron in room and can only take €10 cash deposit to use an iron.
- No hand wash in toilet near the gym. God knows that bacteria is being spread.
- When cooking they used the same utensils for the meat and fish.

Booked a room with partial sea view and they gave the room with the garbage bin, toilet was not clean still see what happened with the previous guest used. I went ask the reception to change the room which what i booked they were very upset and act like they were doing me a favor not end there yet, there no water in the room. I just went to ask for some hot water in the morning, they ignored me at first then said no hot water, the only way to get a cup of hot water that i have to pay 15€ for the breakfast if I want to get a cup of water.

The hotel is new and looks great. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. We felt very taken care of while we were there.

Cala Marsal is beautiful, the hotel being right opposite the beach is really convenient. It is also a short walk to Portocolom for more eating options. We used it as our to visit Porto Cristo and Cala D'or

I would definitely stay with them again.

I would say this hotel is a 3 star plus but has the potential to be 4.
Firstly it’s not fully finished, nearly there but still markings on the walls, rooms not completed ect ect. It’s missing amenities like tea/coffee facilities in the room, shower gels slippers, robes as it’s a spa/nature hotel I feel like this is a must have to add that luxury feel. The hotel in general is decorated and refurbished nicely. It is set in a lovely quiet location close to a stunning beach and a few restaurants and bars. The port isn’t a far walk either. Breakfast was great lots of choice and plenty of seating areas indoor and out. The pools gym and spa were great too with entertainment on daily. My room was spacious, big comfortable bed, cleaning and fresh towels were given daily. There was a bad drainage smell in my room some days a lot worse than others. Most staff were very friendly and welcoming. For the price I paid I was happy with what I got but I believe I did get a really good deal as it had just opened. I never tried the restaurant (I don’t think it’s open in the evenings which is a shame.)

Loved this hotel.. I was so surprised how good it was looking at other people’s reviews.. all I can say is they must be picking on the smallest parts.
We had view of the back of the hotel which was amazing. Sunset over the forest and mountains..
The food was brilliant, fresh grilled fish and meats every night. My kids loved the fresh wood fired pizzas..
The gym is high tech.. and spa was so good. I can’t fault this hotel one bit. Great location and the port was great we walked to the lighthouse and there amazing beaches and views along the way. Would 100% recommend.

What an absolute gem of a hotel! They really have gone over and above with the renovation, everything is like new with beautiful finishes in the rooms. Usually I love a sea view but the Mountain View at sunset was absolutely stunning! Watching the sunset go down behind the mountains, breathtaking! It has 2 gyms with all new equipment, a gorgeous sauna & steam room with indoor pool for after to relax in the evening. I loved the yoga & stretching classes in the mornings, shout out to Rodrigo for great classes & all the entertainment team for their efforts in the daily entertainment that includes so many different things which always kept me entertained. There is also a quieter separate pool away from the entertainment but the ambience is nice at the main pool.The breakfast is extensive & well worth adding to the package, I tried the evening buffet once but I do think they should at least include water in the €25 euro price. The evening entertainment is also great, from shows, to singers to dance acts, varied & very enjoyable. The beach is less than 5 minutes walk & the general area is quiet but nice restaurants in the area & in Porto Colom. I can’t speak highly enough of my experience, as a seasoned solo traveller all over the world, this is one hotel that I aim to come back to. Thank you to all the staff.

My stay at the hotel was a pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly, and the food service was satisfactory. If you choose half board, please note that drinks are not included and must be paid for separately. Although it isn't very expensive, it's something to be aware of. Additionally, there is no private beach service available, such as sunbeds or parasols, so you'll have to pay if you wish to use those amenities. Overall, it was a great place to stay in Cala Marsal if you're looking for peace and a natural atmosphere.

Perfect for a relaxing solo trip

Had a brilliant stay here! I came on a solo trip to relax and I felt like it was the perfect place for this.

The hotel and rooms felt fresh, all newly refurbished.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was placed in a room by the ‘quiet pool’ which was perfect for what I needed.

The buffet breakfast was fab, so much choice! It does get busy, so the earlier to go the better.

The only thing to point out is that the pillows on the bed were very hard. I did also order an iced latte by the pool one morning, which was more a weak, cold milky coffee with ice which cost €5.40.

Apart from that, I had a great stay!

We loved it here. Yes, there are some kinks with some renovations but nothing bad like these reviews said. We had no majors issues at all. The staff checked us in around 6p in about 5 mins. The grounds are very nicely manicured. The hotel is so pretty. The furnishings are very nice and beautiful. There's beautiful tile and seating and wallpaper everywhere you look. It's about a 2 minute walk to the beach across the street. There are TONS of restaurants across the street on the beach and up the hill. (Go to organics restaurant and get a fresa mojito!) There are 3 pools- 2 outdoors and 1 inside. The large 3 circle pool can sometimes get loud. But the smaller rectangle one is quiet and very peaceful. The indoor one is in a spa area that everyone can use. There's a steam room, sauna, 3 tubs that are cold, lukewarm and hot. And then a small rectangle pool. It's a very nice feature. There are beautifully tiled showers in the spa too- not private but you can rinse off. Breakfast was great. Tons of selection of foods. We had a balcony room on the 7th floor and it viewed the pools and the beach. It was beautiful. Our ac wasn't working a couple times but they sent someone immediately to fix it both times. There's a drying rack for your clothes on the balcony also. The beach is nice. Not very natural with all the beach chairs and umbrellas to rent and the buoys in the water but it's sandy and the water itself is pretty. We absolutely loved this hotel and would definitely stay again

Just ok. This hotel is not prepared as it’s in the process of a big renovation. The man who checked us in was terrible, made a huge mistake on our check in, was rude, and never apologized or even attempted to compensate us in anyway After keeping us for 2.5 hour check in process, at 11pm. Thankfully I did not see him after that. Other than him everyone was lovely and kind. Will be great once finished

The aesthetic of the refurbishment is amazing and so lovely. However, the room was not proper completed with wires sticking out the walls and no hair dryer or shower gels I had to ask 3 times. The refurbishment was still on going despite saying to was completed in May 30th. Staff are lovely but don’t seem to resolve issues when raised.

The staff had problems finding my reservation the night I arrived. Then, they gave me a room that was not cleaned (stains in the toilet, shower wasn’t cleaned, and bug in the bed). They then moved me to another room where there were bugs in the bed again and the bathroom sink was clogged. The lobby smells bad like sewer water and hotel is noisy due to still having renovations done. I do not recommend to anyone!

Wir hatten ein Premiumzimmer mit tollem Ausblick, leider hatten unsere Zimmernachbar auch einen „tollen“ Ausblick in unser Zimmer, die Balkonbegrenzungen sollten höher sein. Das Zimmer war sonst sehr schön, vorallem die Farbgestaltung hat überzeugt.
Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.
Laubbläserarbeiten könnten zu einer anderen Zeit (nicht zur Frühstückszeit) stattfinden.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cet hôtel. Le spa est vraiment un plus pour se relaxer en fin de journée. Les buffets sont bons, il y a du choix, de quoi plaire à tous le monde.
L'emplacement est bien aussi avec une plage à proximité et pour le reste nous avions louer une voiture, le reste de l'île est disponible sans faire trop trop de route.
Le seul petit point négatif qui fait baisser un peu la note de la chambre, c'est le fait que la porte de la salle de bain ne permet pas d'avoir beaucoup d'intimité (elle est vitrée et n'est pas complètement fermée.
Le personnel est accueillant, agréable et souriant, ils ont toujours un petit sourire, c'est appréciable.
Bref nous vous recommandons totalement cet hôtel et nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Urlaub auf Mallorca! Das Hotel ist modern, gepflegt und sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Die Zimmer sind stilvoll eingerichtet und der Balkon mit Meerblick einfach traumhaft.
Die gesamte Anlage ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand und wird täglich gereinigt - nach Bedarf.
Besonders praktisch: Der Strand ist nur etwa 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, und auch Parkplätze findet man meist in 1–3 Minuten Fußweg (zwar an der Straße, aber ausreichend vorhanden).

Das Hotel bietet mehrere schöne Außenpools sowie einen Innenpool, Whirlpool, Sauna und Hamam – perfekt zum Entspannen. Auch das Fitnessstudio ist modern ausgestattet und bietet eine gute Auswahl an Geräten.
Der Service war sehr freundlich: Wir mussten an der Rezeption kaum warten und waren nach rund 10 Minuten schon auf unserem Zimmer.

Das Buffet war abwechslungsreich, reichhaltig und optisch sehr ansprechend.

Einzige kleine Minuspunkte: Das Essen könnte stellenweise etwas kräftiger gewürzt sein (Salz und Pfeffer haben manchmal gefehlt).
Auch der Whirlpool dürfte für das perfekte Spa-Gefühl gerne etwas wärmer sein.

Trotz der vielen Gäste war es nie unangenehm oder hektisch. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt – wir würden definitiv wiederkommen! 🌴😊

Nous avons passé une semaine incroyable à cet hôtel à Majorque ! Tout était parfait du début à la fin. Le personnel est très accueillant et toujours à l’écoute. Le petit-déjeuner était exceptionnel, avec un large choix et des produits frais chaque matin. Le spa mérite aussi une mention spéciale : un vrai moment de détente et de bien-être. L’ambiance générale est paisible et les installations sont impeccables. Nous avons adoré notre séjour 🌴✨

Servicepersonal beim Frühstück sehr gut; Zimmerreinigung wollten wir nicht, nur die Kaffeekapseln aufgefüllt, das war immer eine Herausforderung. Zimmerausstattung nicht wie beschrieben (Kaffee/Tee, Betten). Rezeption unfreundlich und lange Wartezeiten.
Laubbläser ab 9 Uhr im Einsatz. Animation bzw. Musik am Abend war eher nicht unser Geschmack, hatten wir leider nicht auf dem Schirm bei der Auswahl des Hotels.

Ich habe Anfang Oktober 5 Nächte im Grupotel Cala Marcal verbracht und bin sehr zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und modern, der Ausblick vom Balkon auf die Berge war ein Traum, außerdem war es super ruhig da das Hotel am Ende des Ortes liegt.
Ich hatte Halbpension und war mehr als zufrieden mit der Buffetauswahl. Das Frühstück war super und das Abendessen sehr abwechslungsreich, es gab jeden Abend Fisch & Fleisch welches man sich frisch anbraten lassen konnte, viele gesunde Beilagen und ein riesiges Dessertbuffet, die Getränkepreise sind auch mehr als fair.
Der Fitnessraum ist mit neuen Technogym Geräten ausgestattet und wirklich super.
Die Sauna im Wellness Bereich liegt meistens bei 85 Grad.

Ein paar Verbesserungspunkte gibt es dennoch:

-es wäre hilfreich, wenn es in der Sauna einen Hinweis geben würde dass man ein Handtuch unterlegt, die Bänke waren immer sehr nass, da die Menschen mit nassen Badehosen in der Sauna saßen ohne Handtuch.

-Beim Abendessen sollte es mehr Beschilderungen geben was dort in den Töpfen zu finden ist, gerade wenn man eine bestimmte Ernährungsweise hat, ist es sehr schwer zu erahnen was der genaue Inhalt ist.

-Beim Frühstück braucht es mehr Personal, da viele Tische lange voller Geschirr stehen und die Gäste es selber abräumen um einen freien Tisch zu bekommen.

Im großen und Ganze kann ich das Hotel aber definitiv weiterempfehlen!

Schönes renoviertes Hotel im Boho Stil. An vielen Ecken wurde allerdings unsauber gearbeitet oder sind schon wieder deutliche Gebrauchsspuren zu sehen zB auf den Fluren und Balkon. Dies ist sehr schade weil es sonst wirklich ansehnlich ist. Mein Balkon war riesig aber der Platz wirkte irgendwie total verloren, da nur zwei Stühle und ein kleiner Tisch zur Verfügung stehen.
Die Parkplatzsituation ist ok, da man entlang der Straße parken kann. Allerdings läuft man dann schon mal 500m. Dafür ist die schöne Bucht Cala Marcal direkt vor der Tür. Diese würde ich den beiden Pools immer vorziehen. Dieser Bereich wurde leider nicht renoviert und der alte bemalte Beton wirkt doch inzwischen wenig einladend und vor allem der kleinere Pool ist sehr trostlos.
Eins der beiden Gyms wurde modernisiert mit sehr coolen Cardiogeräten von Technogym. Dafür fehlen aber Kraftgeräte bzw. wurden diese im 2. Fitnessraum nicht erneuert.
Alles in allem ein recht schönes Hotel für ein paar Tage Auszeit vor allem wenn man einen guten Preis erhält.

The hotel is gorgeous, really spacious and the bed was super comfy. The food needs improving significantly.

The best thing about this hotel is their staff. They are all so polite and helpful and welcoming.
Special recognition for the receptionists (magdalena I think her name was?) and the entertainer who did archery and shooting (I think he was Italian, tattoos) he was so great!

The singer on the first night (Maritza Conradie) was unbelievable. We don’t think she should be singing in a hotel, she should be on broadway! She blew us away!

The food was the biggest let down. They need proper vegan options. With how nice the hotel was we had high expectations for the food but it just let us down completely.
We’re vegan, and we were pretty hungry after meal times. Also, when something is without meat it needs its own serving spoon/tongs. We had some plain tomato sauce and pasta, and I pulled out 2 meat bones of my mouth that were in the sauce from people using the same spoons. It was disgusting.
The salad bar, everything was full of tuna as everyone was just mixing and using the same spoons as there wasn’t one in each bowl for each ingredient. It’s a lack of control and hygiene and it really made us feel sick.
The vegetable paella was burnt and tasted bad because of this.

We would return to this hotel as the staff were just so welcoming and the hotel in itself was lovely, but the food needs to improve dramatically beforehand.

Frukosten var trång och trots ett enormt utbud var maten inte värd pengarna. Allt kostar extra, t ex skåpet för värdeförvaring. Parkering finns egentligen inte. Man fick ställa sig på gatorna runtomkring och det var på ett rejält avstånd. Grannarna kan se in i rummet när de står på balkongen. Hissarna och korridorerna var kokhetta. Städningen var ok, men vi fick smutsiga handdukar en gång. AC:n på rummet var svår att reglera och förde ett hemskt oväsen ibland. Stor och fin toalett. Otroligt trevligt med live musik varje kväll.

Der Empfang beim Check in war sehr nett und kompetent
Wir hatten ein super schönes und großes Doppelzimmer.
Das wichtigste war das gesamte Personal!
Immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Einzig der mangelnde Personaleinsatz bei der Menge der Gäste bei dem Frühstücksbuffett wurde echt viel zu knapp bemessen.

Positiv:
- Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet.
- Die Lage ist top – man ist in wenigen Minuten am Strand.
- Besonders gefallen hat uns die Aussicht und das Ambiente beim Essen – wirklich traumhaft und sehr entspannend.

Verbesserungswürdig:
- Der Check-in war leider nicht optimal. Offiziell ist der Check-in ab 15 Uhr vorgesehen, das Personal teilte uns jedoch mit, dass das Zimmer wahrscheinlich schon ab 14 Uhr fertig sei. Als wir um 14 Uhr an der Rezeption standen, hieß es, das Zimmer sei “in ein paar Minuten” bereit. Am Ende mussten wir jedoch fast eine Stunde in der Lobby warten, trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage. Das war ärgerlich, da wir uns auf unser Zimmer gefreut hatten.
-Das Essen war insgesamt in Ordnung, allerdings haben wir schon besseres Hotelessen erlebt. Vor allem das Fleisch war oft zu trocken und die Wurstauswahl beim Frühstück ist eher speziell und nicht jedermanns Geschmack.

Fazit:
Ein schönes, modernes Hotel in toller Lage mit sauberen Zimmern und fantastischer Aussicht. Beim Essen gibt es jedoch Verbesserungspotenzial. Wir würden das Hotel dennoch empfehlen, insbesondere wegen der Lage und des Ambientes.

Très bel hôtel, bien équipé et très joli ! Idéalement placé près d'une très belle plage, mais les alentours ne sont pas très intéressants. Il y a un parking mais très petit et très vite prisé, se garer ailleurs est compliqué au vu de la localisation.
La chambre était spacieuse, mais pas très propre...cheveux dans la bonde de la douche, toilettes non nettoyés et lavabo non plus.
A vous de faire vos propre check-in, on ne vous donne aucune information donc préparez vos questions ! Comment accéder à la piscine, quels sont les restaurants, qu'est-ce qu'il y a a visiter autour ? Ou est le spa, est-ce payant ? Etc etc, on ne vous présente pas l'hôtel donc difficile de se repérer au départ ! Les réceptionnistes et personnes du bar étaient très gentilles, mais il manque beaucoup d'informations au check in, il y a des animations organisées mais aucune programmation donc c'est surprise... Très bel hôtel malgré tout !

Das Hotel ist frisch renoviert und wirkt entsprechend modern, sauber und gepflegt. Lediglich der Aufzug könnte verbessert werden, da er teilweise sehr lange braucht – wirklich störend ist das aber nur, wenn man in den oberen Etagen wohnt. Den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, da es in der Umgebung zahlreiche schöne Strände gibt. Das Frühstück war für uns ausreichend, da wir keinen All-Inclusive-Urlaub geplant hatten. Parkplätze direkt am Hotel sind oft belegt, allerdings findet man in unmittelbarer Nähe viele kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten, die auch von Strandbesuchern des Cala Marsal genutzt werden – wir haben dennoch immer problemlos einen Platz gefunden. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für einen Aufenthalt auf Mallorca.

Insgesamt hat uns die Unterkunft sehr gefallen. Ich würde mindestens Halbpension empfehlen, da es im Umkreis nicht viele bzw. Relativ teure Restaurants gibt. Der Ort ist ziemlich abgelegen, so dass ich einen Mietwagen empfehlen würde, da man nach Palma zb 2 Stunden mit dem Bus brauchen würde oder mit einem Taxi für mind. 80€ in eine Richtung hinfährt.
Da die Bucht so ziemlich die einzige ist in der Nähe, wurde es auch ziemlich voll am Strand.
Beim Buffet könnte transparenter dargestellt werden welche Art von Essen man da vor sich hat, da oft keinerlei Beschriftungen vorlagen. Man musste mehrmals nachfragen welche Art von Fleisch zur Auswahl steht zB. Dennoch können wir das Hotel für einen reinen Entspann-Urlaub empfehlen, oder wenn man vieles auf Mallorca schon gesehen hat und somit nicht viel unterwegs sein möchte.

Sehr gute Lage. Das Zimmer war geschmackvoll eingerichtet, allerdings war die Klimaanlage sehr laut und hat sehr wenig gekühlt. Sehr beißender Geruch (Abfluß) aus dem Badezimmer in der Nacht. Duschkabine hatte keine Griffe mehr. Es war ein Kühlschrank vorhanden, aber es gab zur Begrüßung nicht mal eine Flasche Wasser (sehr ungewöhnlich für diese Hotelkategorie). Zu wenig hoteleigene Parkplätze. Das Abendessen war sehr gut; das Frühstück war guter Durchschnitt.

Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber der schönen feinsandigen Cala Marsal, Schönes neues Design der Lobby/ Zimmer/ Restaurant, aber Endreinigung wohl nicht richtig erfolgt, da überall noch Baudreck/Staub, Kabelreste, Fugenkleber etc zu sehen, wir hatten ein Zimmer im 2. OG und leider Pech mit der Reinigung, es wurden eigentlich nur Handtücher gewechselt und Mülleimer geleert aber nicht geputzt, Boden war schmutzig mit schwarzen Haaren, Staub und Fusseln, neben dem Zimmer ein Abstellraum der Putzfrauen, die morgens um 7 Uhr die Türen geschlagen haben, dass man senkrecht im Bett stand, das Restaurant schön gemacht, große Essensauswahl, leider zwischen Kellnern und Küche wohl kein besonders gutes Verhältnis wie wir mehrfach mitbekommen haben, also insgesamt noch sehr viel Potential für Verbesserung, für uns hat an der Stelle Preis-Leistung leider nicht gepasst
