We had a really nice stay at the Inturotel Azul Garden. Our room was basic, but had a beautiful patio, kitchen space with a fridge and a nice separate living space. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options, and the hotel was in a convenient area that felt walkable to beaches and food. Parking was also very easy as there was a hotel lot and lots of free street parking.

The one thing that we didn’t realize with the location is that Cala D’or is more of a “resort town” which just wasn’t as much our style (didn’t feel like it had the most authentic food/culture compared to other places we visited in Mallorca ). We wouldn’t necessarily choose to stay in Cala D’Or again, but if we did, this hotel would be at the top of our list!

The staff were miserable and rude,except for two ladies. No hello’s unless you said it first.
We couldn’t believe we had to pay for pool towels and to use the safe especially as we had paid a lot for the accommodation.
The rooms were damp and the bathrooms were awful, the towels were thin and rough, the toilet was stained, the frypan was scatched and old.The rooms weren’t cleaned Tuesdays and Friday’s. No where to sit by the pool when it rained. The bar prices were expensive. The pool shut at 7pm. The pool was looking tired.
I would definitely not recommend or stay there again.
I would give it a 2 star and thats being generous.

We stayed at Azul Garden Hotel for 5 nights as a couple.

Pros
•The location is great – set slightly away from the very busy centre of Cala d’Or, meaning we had a pleasant stroll in and out for dinner each night.
•It’s close to some incredible beaches and coves (Cala Serena was our favourite).
•The pool area is large with plenty of loungers, so you never feel like you’re scrambling for space.

Cons
Beyond this, our stay was pretty average and there’s definitely room for improvement:
•The room decor is very dated and there was a noticeable unpleasant smell when we arrived.
•Our room wasn’t cleaned until the fourth day of our stay, and that was only after asking at reception.
•Inflatables aren’t allowed in the pool, which felt like an odd restriction for a holiday hotel.
•The lift beside the bins was left overflowing daily – on our last day there was even a baby’s nappy on top.
•On check-in we were told we could extend our check-out until 4pm for a fee due to our late flight. When we went to arrange this the day before leaving, we were told it wasn’t possible and that no other rooms were available. Just felt confusing to be offered something, then refused it later.

Overall, the hotel has a nice setting and potential, but our experience was let down by service inconsistencies and lack of attention to detail.

Lovely Apartment

We have really enjoyed our stay at Azul Gardens, as a young couple we wanted 2 weeks of relaxation in a self catering apartment, the facilities allowed us to do exactly that.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff were very friendly.

I requested a ground floor apartment prior to our arrival, due to being pregnant, the hotel very kindly arranged this for me, with a room right by reception. We were also really grateful for the arrangement they made for our late check out, again with being pregnant in the heat I was really anxious at the thought of not having a room all day, Jose very kindly moved things around for me and made it possible for us to stay.

The location is fantastic, everything is on the doorstep, lovely restaurants and so many small Spar supermarkets. However I would recommend walking down to the end of the road, about a 8 minute walk, to the Hiper Dino supermarket as it’s so much cheaper!

2 gorgeous beaches nearby, Esmeralda doesn’t have sunloungers but Ferrera does. Google maps says Cala Ferrera is a 12 minute walk, it’s not, there’s a cut through you can’t miss and only takes 5 minutes.

A few things to mention is that this is a VERY busy family resort, so if you are looking for peace and quiet round the pool this may not be for you. There are more loungers than parasols so you will need to be down to save a bed with a parasol before 10am if you want one, towels are removed if left unattended. And no ironing facilities

The room was nice and spacious and the balcony and AC was great. The room wasn’t very clean when we arrived and the room turn overs weren’t great. The bathroom wasn’t very clean and the fridge was not clean either.
We were disappointed that the sheets were only changed once a week, we asked for extra sheets and were given them no problem, so it was ok in the end.
We really enjoyed the pool, I’m not sure if it was heated but it was definitely warm every day. The hotel is also about a 15 min walk from some amazing restaurants and bars and very close to a lovely beach. The hotel was good and staff were super lovely, cleanliness was the only thing that let it down.

Great location for a family holiday

We enjoyed our time here and in particular enjoyed the area around the hotel. It is very well located walking distance from beautiful Calas and restaurants.

The hotel itself is a bit dated but worked perfectly fine, perhaps not as glamorous but good value for money. We really loved the pool area and the kitchenette in the suite, we were able to save some money cooking our own meals. We also loved having access to the sister hotels, a 5 min walk away which were on the waterfront. We recommend the grocery store “Mercadona” if you have a car.

Our only criticism is that upon arrival, there is no real “entrance” to the hotel if you have a car. GPS took us to a back entrance next to garbage cans, and we had to walk in next to the pool because reception was located in the middle of the hotel, sort of an odd entrance. We were coming off a very long and stressful travel day and some signage for reception would have been nice.

We found staff somewhat indifferent but I supposed that is to be expected at a larger hotel chain. The cleaning staff were great however.

All you need for a family holiday

The property and rooms were very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the pool. The location was walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and beaches. Our room was located next to a loading door so we heard a lot of banging around with deliveries early in the morning. Other than that, everything was excellent!

The hotel staff are fantastic, especially the bar staff. The cleaners came every day and we very good. The hotel was lovely and quiet, not much to do, but we prefer it like that as my children have SEN needs. The only negative was the cold pool and the lift constantly breaking.

Really liked the hotel. Pool is amazing ! very big and clean. We traveled with 2 kids aged 7 and 8 and we really liked the fact that the pool had the perfect depth where the kids could play freely without the fear of drowning.
Also hotel is close to the main street where all the local shops and restaurants are however it was very quiet. Plus, the beach is only about 10 min walk.
Highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely return .

Despite being dated, still a decent value property in Cala D’Or located close to shops and restaurants. The pool is nice, but keep in mind the people “reserve” their Sun loungers so after 9 there are none left.

The main downside I would say is the noise which after 7:30 in the morning is pretty constant: furniture screeching, doors slammed and also noise from corridor. If you plan to sleep late this is not the hotel for you. Other small things like charging for the safe are also a bit stingy, but I guess this one is at least clear.

Amazing hotel and we had a truly great time, highly recommended! We went as a family of four with half board.

Pros:
Spacious 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony overlooking the pool
Amazing food offering for both breakfast and dinner, vast selection and very delicious!
Great free entertainment included, particularly for the kids! We did not leave our kids in the miniclub for the entire day, but the minidisco every night was second to none! The guys and girl running it are so passionate about what they do, always performing with a genuine smile and radiating love for children and the work they do!
A lovely cat, hens and roosters live in the yard, making a morning wake up quite unique!
Great WiFi in the apartment
Lovely family friendly location with plenty of shops, restaurants and a kids entertainment park nearby, as well as a beach all within walking distance.

Cons:
Parking - no official parking that we could find with limited on street parking at the back of the hotel - we were lucky enough to always find a space but can imagine it being a nightmare in the very busy summer season
The apartment, although clean and fully functional, is quite dated - could do with an upgrade of furniture and decor
There were a couple of occasions when the hot water in the shower just ran out..

The property is very tired looking, and our apartment had no frills. However, that was to be expected at the price we paid.

The whole site was immaculately clean which was wonderful.

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful - we needed a doctor quite urgently for our daughter and one arrived within 20minutes of us arriving, way before the official check in time. They were cheerful throughout and wonderful with the children.

We had a nice stay here. It's part of a 3-hotel complex with some shared amenities. They had outdoor tents like live music every night we were there. The buildings are not new and they show some ware & tear, but they are kept up pretty well. Staff is friendly and the location is great, very close to the beach. The mediate area has a lot of shops and restaurants. This is not the best area if you want a truly authentic or more private / serene experience. But the beaches nearby are beautiful and there are a lot of services nearby.

It’s a nice hotel close to shops and restaurants. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that the rooms are not soundproof so sometimes we heard the neighbours moving furniture or kids crying early in the morning.

Absolutely brilliant holiday, all the staff were very pleasant and helpful, we stayed in a one bedroom apartment, which for 2 of us was very spacious and comfortable. Lot's of supermarkets and restaurants close by, the takeaway pizzas from the mini golf at the front of Cala Azul Park are wonderful and Eroski Supermarket is about a 12/15 minute walk, some very interesting local foods and wines and fresh sushi being made, we bought some and it was delicious.

Room was ok, but was expecting more. Quite drab and old looking King bed acting as Twin beds is very annoying. Great Balcony. Beautiful grounds. Reception was friendly. Not really 3 star. Lovely Stay at Cala Azul Garden

We had a lovely 10 day stay at the Cala Azul Garden as a party of 4 - myself and my husband, teenage son and his friend. The apartments were clean and spacious with a small kitchen, good sized lounge and TV with all main UK channels (handy for World Cup!). The pool, snack bar and gardens were immaculately kept and usually plenty sunbeds for all into mid-morning. All staff were helpful and friendly.
Plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets within 5 mins walk and only a further 5 mins to central Cala D'Or. The Karoake in Carabel Bar round the corner for the apartments has to be seen/heard to be believed - very entertaining.
The only downside was the occasional noise of scraping furniture being moved around in apartments upstairs (we were on the ground floor) but nothing that would put us off staying again.

Very good experience at this hotel. Nice area with lovely beaches close by. Service excellent. Our room was not overlooking the pool side of the hotel but this was actually better for us as it was quieter. Just a bit of noise now and again from the floor above but this is always the case in hotels, etc. Surprised to find all the UK terrestrial channels on the TV as well as the German, French and Spanish channels. WiFi was fine for normal browsing etc. on our phones. No oven in kitchenette but there is a stovetop and microwave and plenty of options for eating out too. Handy that basic essentials were in the room on arrival - washing up stuff, bottle of water in fridge, some toiletries in bathroom (and loo rolls!). Bathroom fine with powerful shower. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.

A little out of the way, but enjoyed our stay.

On arrival we werent to happy as we`d realised we were in the Inturotel Cala Azul Garden and not on the beach or near the restaurants and facilities. First morning we went to inturotel esmeralda park which is about 10minute walk for breakfast at 8:30am. It was manic, there was a queue for tables which was about 5 minutes wait and i`ve never seen so many people at a breakfast in a hotel. Next day we tried to ask to move to the Inturotel Cala Azul Park , the staff were very helpful but couldnt find any available rooms. So we stuck with the Azul Garden and changed the restraurant to the Inturotel Cala Azul Park. That one is much nicer than the esmeralda park, smaller and less busy and also a nice terrace overlooking the pool and sea.
The Azul Garden actually turned out to be quite a nice place to stay as it was quieter than the other areas of the hotel complex. It did have the downside of having nothing but the pool and pool bar and the rooms, but seeing how busy the other hotels were this worked out a more relaxing place.
I cant really fault the staff, they were all excellent. The kids club was also good but the hours for the younger kids were really short and we only used it on a couple of occasions.
The beaches around the resort get very crowded, Cala Ferrera is the nearest beach, about 10mins walk but was horrendously over crowded, everyones beach towels were almost touching the one next door. The water was also very cloudy. Cala Esmeralda was better, smaller , and quiet.

We were two families with two 6 year olds and 1 12 year old at Azul Gardens . It felt very safe for them to have the independence to go from the pool to the room as we could see them at the balcony from the pool and vice versa.

The beaches were beautiful.

We are going back next May half term.

The location is beautiful, set around a cove with sandy beach. The scenery is amazing..you get to use all amenities between the 3 hotels....
There is a busy strip with restaurants, bars, shops & childrens play area just outside the complex. We had a great holiday & we will come back in the future....

Our first visit to Cala D'o

We requested a top floor apartment with a view of the pool, which is what we were allocated. Our best holiday in Mallorca. The location of the Azul Garden was just what we wanted, close enough to the sea and not too far from shops and restaurants. The staff were brilliant, helpful, pleasant and obliging. The room was cleaned to high standard. In addition the hotel provided a bottle of wine for my wifes birthday which was a nice touch.

Great location in a lovely resort

Cala Azul Garden has a lovely pool area and there were plenty sun beds. There is also a nice pool bar. That is all the facilities at the Azul Garden. All other facilities like restaurants, entertainment, lounge bars etc are in the other two properties across the road. The apartments are spacious and have all you need for a self catering holiday. Could do with some upgrading but nice enough. Staff very friendly. Cala D'Or is a lovely resort. The centre and marina have lots of bars and eating places. The calas are lovely but small and always busy.

Excellent for families of all ages

Visited with my 3 children. Had a lovely week. Hotel is kept immaculately, rooms clean and functional. Was nice to be at the quietest hotel of the three, as the pool area wasnt too busy. Close to amenities and beach.

Buffet style dinner is fine (you have to walk over to the other two hotels as this site does not have a restaurant) but lacked variety between different nights.

Would definitely visit again.

Had a family holiday there during school whit holidays and we had a fantastic time and beautiful weather. Perfect for families with young children. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very spacious and also had sky tv! We had everything we needed for self catering although we did eat out every night.
The pool was fantastic, again incredibly clean and well attended to by staff, it never got too busy so we could always get a sun lounger. The pools at the hotel across the road were much busier. Wi Fi is available for 15 euros per week or 3euros per day. The staff were very polite and helpful and organised car hire for us.
We were facing the pool side to the far end which was quieter and also meant we got the sun during the day.

Perfect resort for a family holiday

Great complex with use of the chain's other hotel facilities all within close proximity, and a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach! Lovely pool with lots of loungers, room clean and had everything you would need. Supermarket, restaurants, bars close by and excellent outdoor fun parks for the kids - would definitely recommend for a family holiday!

Exceeded expectation

5 day long weekend with friends. We were allowed to check in early and given adjacent rooms (and even offered a 2 bed apartment if preferred). Room clean with modern touches. The only point would be to say the bathrooms need re-doing (clean but dated). Friendly staff and use of all the Cala Azur complex. Paid for breakfast and wasnt disappointed - great variety and included cava on the weekend. Its the cheaper of the hotels in the complex and not on the coast line but is literally a few minute walk to the beach and other hotels in the complex. The other hotels were considerably more expensive for our trip and I see no need to pay the extra. The pools were lovely, free loungers around the pool. They kindly arranged our taxi back to the airport for us (€70). General location ok - usual laminated menus on the strip but walk down to the marina and you'll be pleasantly surprised by lovely high quality restaurants and bars. All in all far exceeded expectation.

The hotel was very good overall, but did have some issues.
1, Noise from the room above. This was more due to the people above, who woke around 5am each morning and had showers, then walked around their room for three hours. I asked to move rooms to the top floor, but was unable to, due to the hotel being full.
2, Missed the entrance driving by twice and getting into the one way system. Could do with a larger sign.
The staff were great and the hotel and room was very clean.
Plenty of sun beds. Near the beach.

Nice small friendly clean aparthotel. Swimming pool etc on single flat level making it easy for my young family.

Rooms spotless. Had a lovely view from the balcony on the second floor over looking the pool. Electric kettle, toaster hob in room. TV with bbc itv 1&2 film 4 etc.

On the outskirts of the resort but lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity and only a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of town where you are spoilt for choice with bars and restaurants. Further 10 minutes to marina with even more bars and restaurants. 2 kiddy parks within 5 minute walk of hotel that my 3 year old loved.

Spa supermarket over the road from block where you can buy fresh bread and croissants every morning.

You can use the facilities in Cala Azul Park and Esmeralda Park where they also have nice swimming pools and evening entertainment.

Great Hotel.

We had great time. Everything was perfect, friendly staff, clean and cosy rooms. The only one thing is, the Azul Garden is at least 700 meters from the sea, don't let photos fool you :)

Great holiday, great hotel, brilliant choice of food at breakfast and dinner. Great choice of beaches close by, lots of sunbeds, not to busy, just right, amazing weather in September, going back next year.... Recommended....

Cala Azul Garden was ideal for a short break for us. The pool area was excellent with large pool and bar, sunbeds and shade. No need to go to the beach. We ate breakfast at the buffet in the partner hotel which we thought was great value and set us up for the day. Would recommend for relaxing, lying by the pool bre

We thoroughly enjoy our stay. Good location within walking distance to beach and resturants. Clean room and friendly staff. Good size pool. Great for those looking for a quieter location. We were self catering so unable to comment on meals. Would recommend.

Perfect family holiday

Just returned from a brilliant stay in Cala d'or. The hotel is great for families, spotlessly clean and well located. Nice to have access to other intruhotels which are next door. The pool at Cala Azul Gardens is the largest in the chain and the quietest. Food amazing. Entertainment was great - kids loved it! Would definitely recommend this place.

Great holiday

We chose the Garden part of this hotel complex rather than the more busy part closer to the beach. This suited us well as the Garden hotel was less busy and easier to get sunbeds (compared to the Esmeralda and the Park). We were 2 adults and 2 children (4 and 6) and had a great holiday here. We were concerned that the hotel room would feel to small for a family of 4, but it worked well for us. The location is very good, easy access to two beaches, shops, able to use the facilities at the other parts of the hotel complex. Happy to recommend this hotel.

Great location and pool area, plenty of sunbeds and nice bar serving snacks and drinks. My only issue here was noise, we could hear every noise (including snoring) each night from the next room which was not ideal, also heard early morning noises such as moving furniture etc. The rooms could do with a bit of refurbishment especially in the bathroom. Cannot fault the staff they had good knowledge of the area and local facilities. Would stay here again but ask for a pool view as no sun on our balcony.

Best of both worlds

This is the smallest and quietest of the 3 Inturotel apartment complexes and furthest from the beach. You can use the facilities of the others which are only a few minutes walk away as is the beach. We felt we had the best of both worlds but those with younger children might prefer one of the others because that is where the activities and entertainment are based. The pool at Azul Garden is just as nice or nicer - apart from having no sea view - but shared with far fewer people. The kitchen area is very basic with only two rings and no kettle, oven or microwave but good enough for making breakfast, lunch and snacks and there are plenty of places for eating close by. Overall, the accommodation overall was very good. The staff are very pleasant, helpful and keep the rooms and complex spotlessly clean.

Nice location but rooms needs updating

Very good location but the rooms are very basic and the hotel staff are extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. Nice pool, close to restaurants and shops. The walls are so thin that you can hear neighbours talking and going to the toilet. Ask for an even room number as they face the pool. Other rooms face te back of the hotel, very boring and noisy from the road and the restaurants, nothing to look at.

we stayed in the cala Azul garden which I think was the best hotel of the 4 as was much quieter, we spent a few days around esmerelda park pool with our friends and it was hectic and you had to be up at crack of dawn for a bed but at our hotel much quieter and easy to get a bed. Had to walk to esmerelda park for breakfast and for entertainment at night, there was different entertainment on in Azul park but we didn't bother with this. esmerelda gardens were not in the main bit so I am glad we didn't book these. Really nice part of resort just outside main hussle and bussle. rooms ok, quite basic, kitchen had a hob, pan and toaster, no microwave. We had room overlooking pool which got sun in afternoon on balcony so great whilst our toddler had her sleep. breakfast was good, great selection. Evening entertainment started with mini disco that even though they had to cater to all languages, our little girl loved. Shows afterwards were a bit hit and miss, great dancers but put on various shows and mimed to all the songs. I thought would have been nice to have some live singing but they all worked hard.

Exceptionally clean apartments, staff especially at the pool bar very good. Location excellent plenty of bars and restaurants within 5 minute walk. Pool area good, plenty of sunbeds, ok for young children.

Nice resort for 1 week

Just what we wanted somewhere clean and tidy to have a week in the sun, the pool area is really nice and plenty of space for everyone and the pool bar is handy.
The Beds/Sofas are uncomfortable and would have not like to sleep on them any longer.
Cala Esmarelda is the nice end of Cala Dor and we enjoyed eating out and going to the beach even though its really crowded. We had a nice relaxing time for 1 week but would have got board if we had stayed any longer.

Pretty nice apartment hotel. It’s nice if you’re on a family trip and just need a decent place. The pool is pretty big and nice, but it’s close to beautiful beaches. I would reccomend the beach Cala Serena and Cala Esmeralda.

Es war sehr sauber , das Essen war gut , buffett war ausreichend und wurde im Nachbar Hotel Azul Esmeralda Park serviert.
Dort war auch der Kinder Club und Animation.
Deshalb war es in Azul Garden schön Ruhig.

Die Entfernungen waren nicht weit zu Fuß sehr gut erreichbar

Staff was friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Furniture a little old and not enough privacy in the balcony. We could also hear a lot the kids' neighbors. Nice pool and garden. Walking distance from the beach, restaurants, supermarket...After the check out, we could leave our luggage, enjoy the pool & garden and take a shower.

Vi har hatt en super uke på dette hotellet. Det er noe slitt, men både basseng og rom var rene og fine. Pluss for stort basseng og fin beliggenhet nær restauranter, butikker og to veldig fine strender.

Resepsjonisten som tok oss i mot burde hatt et lite kurs i kundeservice. Han var veldig arrogant og vi opplevde han som en skikkelig dust.

På dette hotellet er det et stort problem at solsenger blir tidlig reservert. Dersom du skal ha solseng, så må du ha vekkerklokka på 7.
En av badevaktene hadde fokus på dette og frigjorde litt plass på de sengene som ikke var tatt i bruk etter en times tid. Hotellet bør ha et mye større fokus på dette og bør informere om at det ikke er greit å holde av seng når man ikke bruker den.

Fint ophold men værelset var gammelt - slidte møbler mv.
Personalet var meget dårlige til engelsk.
Der var alt for få solsenge ved poolen.
Vi havde bestilt ophold med morgenmad men ikke fået besked på morgenmaden var på et andet hotel i nærheden. Der var rigtig mange mennesker og vi stod i kø for at få et bord til morgenmad.

Très bon séjour. La cuisine avec vaisselle, micro onde et frigo sont un vrai plus quand on choisi la demi-pension. La piscine est top, le lieu est très bien, le personnel également. La restauration (buffet) est variée et en quantité généreuse même en arrivant 30 min avant la fermeture. Le petit point négatif c’est la fermeture de la piscine à 19h alors que le soleil tape encore et que la température de l’eau est parfaite.

Otroligt prisvärt boende i ett lugnt område

Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse på detta hotell. Mycket bra lägenheter med allt man behöver. Bekväma sängar, bra badrum. Kök med micro, brödrost, en bra kyl, vattenkokare. Otroligt trevlig personal, de hjälpte oss med allt möjligt och lät oss checka ut en timme senare vid förfrågan. Femstjärnig städning! Läget är perfekt. Lugnt och trevligt område, allt mycket välskött. Supermarkets, apotek, butiker, lekparker och en nöjespark för barn och mycket bra restauranger precis utanför hotellet. Tre otroligt vackra badvikar på nära gångavstånd. Vi tyckte bäst om Cala Gran. Hotellets pooler är fantastiska. Vi reste i början av april och hade tur med vädret så det gick bra att bada utomhus trots att poolerna ej var uppvärmda. Vi hade också tillgång till en väldigt härlig uppvärmd inomhuspool med bastu och jacuzzi på grannhotellet där även barnen var välkomna mellan kl. 10-18, fantastiskt! Cala d Ór är ett av de absolut vackraste områdena vi har besökt på Mallorca och vi reser gärna tillbaka hit. Inturotel har överträffat våra förväntningar och priset vi betalade för 8 nätters vistelse är oslagbart!
