La Ceiba Hostel is situated in Cala D´Or one of the most beautiful resorts on the island of Mallorca. The town is well known for its picturesque bays, many beautiful beaches with crystalline waters, Ibizan style architecture and natural parks.
The Hostel is placed in a quiet part of the town surrounded by pine trees. The Hostel is 100 meters from the centre where you will find a great variety of typical Spanish food restaurants, bares and beautiful boutiques.
Nearby is the charming harbour of Cala D´Or one of the nicest harbours of the island. It is family run and guarantees a comfortable and relaxing holiday.
You can enjoy your breakfast on our large, sun roofed terrace. It also offers a bar, garden area and other facilities.
The Hostel offers 13 large, sunny double rooms all with en-suite bathrooms. On request we also offer bedrooms with three or four beds.

It's a beautiful lush property, walking distance from the center and the river. They're very helpful with arranging transport to the airport or anywhere. The restaurant is very nice and they have an outside bar by the pool that's open at night for coffee, drinks and snacks.They've done some refurbishing to the rooms, they're simple and clean with great AC and wifi. I've stayed there a number of times through the years and it's always been a wonderful retreat in Chiapa de Corzo!

It’s a nice hotel with a pool and a beautiful garden. In the restaurant was decent. My concerns, however, were that the shower did not have hot water, lukewarm at best and it took forever for it to get slightly warm. And the hotel room needed to be locked from the inside and out with a key. This felt like a fire hazard of sorts. Also, The room did not have a phone.

The tropical courtyard garden was fantastic. There were even some local cats hanging out (although fleasome). We took a tour of the Canon de Sumidero, which was fine (although our boat transmission broke down and had to be rescued by a backup boat which completed the tour). The town square has a very interesting fountain. We tried 2 different local restaurants which I liked but my wife did not. It was nice an noticeably warmer than San Cristobal, our previous stay. We picked this spot to be close to the airport. We found out from the cabbie however that we could have booked the ride directly to the airport from San Cris, without too much worry about roadblocks (cabbies now the way around them).

Hotel Ceiba is like staying in a tropical resort. The grounds are lush vegetation and beautiful flowers with winding walkways to the rooms at the back of the property. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is clean and relaxing with lounge chairs. The rooms are clean and comfortable with nice bathrooms. Our only concern was that the room only had 3 electrical outlets, including one in the bathroom. The hotel restaurant is open only for breakfast and lunch until 3:00pm daily. Breakfast is a buffet with regional specialties and some western fare. There are a few nearby restaurants. The hotel staff helped us arrange a Sumidero Canyon tour as well as taxis to restaurants and the airport. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The vegetation and general style of the hotel were unique and incredibly beautiful. Great for pictures! The amenities were quite lacking. The hotel does not accept credit card payment for anything but the actual hotel and the restaurant. You cannot pay tours, taxis, purchase items, or even add tip to staff services with credit/debit cards. You’re forced to either carry cash at all times or constantly seek out an ATM machine, with added fees. Also, there are no in-room phones to call the lobby, no iron or ironing board, no hand/body cream, and there is sometimes no hot water, luke-warm at best. For a small village stay, the hotel is good, but it definitely does not provide some basic comforts.

Nice property outside , low end rooms that are quite rundown and beds are not comfortable. No or little hot water. We had also an issue with the door and they refused to move us to another room. There are not a lot of accommodation options in chiapa de corzo. This may still be your best choice unless you stay in Tuxla.

Enjoyed our stay and will be back!! We stayed 5 nights. This is not a luxury hotel and spa but more like a little remote cottage. We wanted to book a message but they don’t do them on Sundays, which is understandable. The restaurant was delicious and the staff was very kind. The gardens are amazing beautiful.

This accommodation is ideal for couples, friends, and families with children over 16 years old who want to stay active during their holidays and take the opportunity to engage in activities or explore the small paradises that Mallorca hides in the form of coves, beaches, inland villages, seafaring or mountain towns, markets, or the best gastronomy. MarSenses Natura Olea Hotel is a hotel only for adults and children over 16 years old.
It offers options for accommodation only, bed & breakfast and half board for your stay. Additionally, the hotel has two pools, the main one with a spacious sun terrace with a cafeteria bar service and the second, for the exclusive use of the SwimUp and Pool Access rooms, more secluded pool with a small sun terrace ideal for enjoying a relaxed atmosphere.
In 2025 there will be a new gymnasium next to the main swimming pool. For you to enjoy the best Mediterranean and international cuisine, in 2025 we are opening a new Buffet Restaurant, where we will offer breakfast and dinner buffet service and delicious snacks at lunchtime.
