An incredible 10 day stay at this wonderful modern hotel + great location with friendly professional staff in every area! Pretty faultless from the second we arrived - quick friendly informative check in, spacious room, spotlessly clean & comfortable. All of the communal areas were so beautifully designed with space, light, comfort, super stylish! The pool areas again spacious so never felt there were too many people around at any given time - plenty of beds, umbrellas, out door chairs + sofas in the sun & shade all so very calming & chilled throughout! Every staff member we came into contact with was friendly, helpful, professional & welcoming. Breakfast was included & amazing they had everything you could think of on offer hot + cold delicious & the dining area is gorgeous! Most nights, even though we hadn't booked half board, we ended up eating in the hotel because again dinner options were incredible, varied, delicious & at 33euros per person it was impressive! Location wise it was perfect too - hotel over looks a stunning bay, we always found free parking right out front on the road no problem, we could walk 10 minutes into the pretty buzzing small town full of bars/restaurants/cafes, we could walk 5 minutes further to a fabulous harbour with more eateries & lovely views - it couldn't have better all round so highly recommend & would go again in a heart beat as the island is stunning too!

The hotel is beautiful. Very clean and pretty. The rooms are a nice size and bed was very comfortable. The pool and bar area and beautiful. The restaurant is very nice. Service overall very good. Asked for a few things one we never received the other took a long time. The one downside is the food. The breakfast was good. The dinner was horrible. The food was tasteless and not good quality. They need to stop the included dinner buffet and put in a nice restaurant. I would rather pay for my dinner than have an all inclusive bad meal in a beautiful hotel. PLEASE WORK ON THE FOOD

Spotlessly clean, modern, stylish hotel. Loved that there were three pools. It wasn’t too difficult to find a sunbed. The breakfast was a bit chaotic but not much could be done about that - it’s a popular hotel so bound to be busy. We didn’t try the dinner so cannot comment on this. Staff were lovely.

The location and spa were excellent. The whole beach situation is annoying to deal with if you’re wanting a relaxing vacation. The beach itself is extremely crowded (the property doesn’t have loungers on the beach) and the pool that overlooks the ocean gets packed with everyone from the hotel lining up at 9 am for the 10 am opening time. The breakfast and dinner were about 6/10, we ate there often but the times we went to other restaurants we were shocked by how good the food was in comparison. The rooms were clean however our towels were only changed once despite being there for a 6 night stay. You also can’t get pool towels exchanged whenever you want, you have to wait until Monday Wednesday Friday to do so. They let us use the spa facilities after check out and arranged for a taxi to airport. It was our honeymoon and we weren’t offered anything special throughout the stay.

This is a lovely hotel, we stayed in a room with a private swim up pool which we really enjoyed. The hotel location was good (about 15 mins walk to the main restaurant area of town) and the beach bar across the road (part of the ) had a great view of the beach.

This is our third stay at this hotel, it is beautiful, everything is exceptional. The food is very tasty and huge selection, the staff are all friendly and efficient, cleanliness is very high in your rooms and all surrounding areas. We had a junior suite which is very spacious, shower gels, body lotions all included, plenty of wardrobe space, fridge, large tv with British channels, lovely view over pool and gardens. Beach club across road with pool and access down to beach. Bars and shops close by, well done hotel esmerelda see you next year.

A/C is limited to 18’ hotel has a policy they do not allow guest to set their own temperature below a pre programmed limit.
Hotel Front desk advised they would prepare a boxed breakfast to takeaway since we had an early checkout. When we went to the breakfast spot they had not knowledge nor capacity to prepare a takeaway breakfast. They gave a plastic bag to us and we had to fend for ourselves and grab a baguette and cheese. Room chiller/refrigerator did not work. Asked from desk to service and they never came to repair during the remainder of our stay.

This hotel is awful. It feels like you are staying in an airport. It’s clinical and uncomfortable and nothing invites you to relax. The staff are ignorant, the rooms are decorated like a public toilet, the machines in the gym were rusty, the buffet was limited, and so it goes on. Hotel itself was in a lovely location, great access to the beach and perfect for shorts walks into the town centre. The beach is stunning, and the views are to die for. Really lovely decor, and clean throughout. The staff however really let the property down. From the minute we arrived the staff were rude and abrupt. Barely any of the staff greeted us in the mornings or evenings, even when walking past the front desk. We paid a lot of money to stay in a nice hotel, and feel we did not receive the level of care and attention we deserved. We felt isolated and judged.

Thank goodness for the Beach Club!

The hotel is a little sterile and if it was not for the beach club I would rate it two stars. The pools are a little soulless and the staff are not particularly helpful, particularly at breakfast - lots of attitude! The breakfast is one of its weak points due to the coffee machines (they take an eternity to make a coffee and create a lot of angst with guests), the fresh fruit regularly runs out and the jars containing be cereals are so inaccessible that it is like playing a game of operation!

My daughter and I had a 4day stay and had a wonderful time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We both have gluten sensitivities and the buffet had many options and the dining staff were knowledgeable and helpful. We had a couple of treatments in the spa which was also wonderful. The beach was also very nice. We will definitely be back!

Great location near the beach (there is a road between the hotel and beach). Great place to jump in the water near the pool. Breakfast was good, dinner for half board was okay. If I were to go back, I would do breakfast only.

It's a gem. Super clean, seems new or refurbished.Staff is wonderful. Food healthy and great. Facilities great. Two pools at the hotel- third one with a stunning view of the sea 1min across the road.What I liked is they don't play dumb music by the pools. It's a peaceful, quiet place where you can really unwind. Seems to attract guests who are respectful.We had a suite with a private pool- amazing. Only minus is our room was quite cold- heating didn't work (I guess switched off for the start of the season?). But there was an extra duvet and a blanket. We arrived late, shattered and the welcome was warm and they left some food for us in the room.

We had a fantastic stay at the Cala Esmeralda Beach Hotel. The hotel itself is very well kept in excellent, clean condition as well as the surrounding areas such as the 2 on site swimming pools or the terrace and its swimming pool across the road on the beach. The staff were very friendly, professional and courteous. The food was also very well catered for and substantial portions (there were also healthy options available). I did not use the gym or spa but did have a look around and the facilities also looked amazing. The rooms are quite small, however they are well renovated and cleaned daily and we had the sea view which was beautiful. The area itself is about 1 hour driving from Palma however its got lots to offer with various shops and restaurants within walking distance. The only (minor) things that I can say is: that on 2 mornings both coffee machines were not working, which is almost inexcusable and could have been avoided by proactive cleaning of the milk pipes and would have been much worse if there were more guests.

Our stay was really nice, the place is right next to an amazing beach it is so picturesque. The hotel looked beautiful, loads of swimming pools and activities. Spa was free to use and this is a big bonus! They have a lovely heated pool! Food was lovely, lots of grills every night but I hate hotels that charge you for bottle of water. Every other hotel gives you 1 free bottle a day for your room. Staff were friendly and super helpful. However the hotel was smoke free bar 2 areas and we wish we had known about this. They told us the owner doesn’t like it but really it should be about guest. We also did not get our towels changed the entire stay (3 nights) so not sure whether this got to do with eco friendliness but not ideal. We would definitely come back again, but I hope the hotel can take these constructive feedback on board

Do not sell rooms with unusable amenities!

Dear Director of the Inturotel Group,

I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the experience my partner and I had during our recent stay at your hotel in Mallorca. We booked a junior suite with a swim-up private pool, expecting this feature to enhance our experience.

Unfortunately, when we attempted to use the pool, we found it to be freezing cold and completely unusable. This was extremely disheartening, especially given that none of the outdoor pools at the hotel were heated, rendering them equally unusable during our stay.

At no point during the booking process were we informed that the pools were unheated.

This lack of transparency significantly affected our ability to enjoy what we had hoped would be a key element of our stay. We feel that we were misled about the room’s amenities, as we had every expectation that the pool would be comfortable and functional.

We initially raised our concerns with the hotel manager, hoping for a reasonable solution. However, we were extremely disappointed with the response we received. The refusal to offer any form of part refund for a clear shortfall in the quality of our stay only added to our frustrations. We are deeply upset by how this situation has been handled. If this is still unresolved then we will be left with no other option but to put through a credit chargeback claim via the bank.

We had a fantastic stay at this property. Its just a shame that its hard to catch a sunbed by the sea pool because some guests still feel entitled to occupy these with their towels.
I d also prefer it if the pools weren't closed at 6pm but later. Hotel, Rooms, Hotel grounds, Restaurant and pools are great. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel has a lovely relaxing vibe, like a Scandinavian spa. Rooms are modern and very clean, we loved waking up to the sound of the sea.
A couple of small points but honestly not a problem…1. TV not easy to use. 2. Towel rack is underneath the balcony wall so hard to dry towels etc especially in October. If the hotel do not like towels over the balcony you may wish to consider a better positioned rail or rotate towels more in cooler months.
Great location just outside main town so we enjoyed the walk in each evening. Beach club was lovely. Breakfast options were great. Staff very helpful and happy.

Superb hotel which delivers in spades on experience. The staff are a credit to the hotel always pleasant, available and helpful. The interior is beautifully maintained, cleaned and is just the laid back Majorcan style we love.
Yes, you have to queue for 30 mins to gain access and get you bed overlooking Cala Esmeralda for the day... fairest way and nobody has yet been disappointed. Never mind the naysayers, we're booked again.

Cala Esmerelda was very clean and the staff was friendly. The pools were nice and the room was large with a balcony. There was not a ton of parking that was dedicated to the hotel but street parking was very easy and close by. It was nice that breakfast/ dinner were included in our stay but we were underwhelmed by the options available. Breakfast was OK, dinner was very bad. It was hard to find options that were suitable at dinner and one night the chicken was fully raw. Despite this, we still tried to eat there a few times (unfortunately wasting a lot of the food we attempted to eat) and we would still come back to this hotel given that we could find food elsewhere we preferred and enjoyed the other aspects of the hotel. The hotel is very close to a beach but it gets very crowded/ loud/ dirty and there are many other, better beaches that you can drive to. The ocean view from the balcony was a bonus.

The property is modern and beautiful with the main pool overlooking Cala Esmeralda offering a spectacular view (but limited seating). The Spa, Sauna/Hammam area is first class and highly recommended. The hotel room was clean and well maintained, plus stylish. Good lighting. I was able to enjoy the balcony throughout the stay. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was included, and it was so good!! We didn’t feel the need to eat out often during our week, because it was full of great food options and local items. Everything was clearly labeled for allergies, and since I’m Celiac that was helpful. I didn’t have any issues or reactions to the food.

This property was the nicer one of the area. However, the entire area was not what we signed up for. It was packed with families and kids at the beach and at the hotel next door. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay with your partner, I would not come to this town or hotel. The food around the hotel was plentiful but awful. The hotel food was ok. The overall room was overpriced.

A few things we found strange about the hotel were the near-complete lack of drink/food service by the pool, the lack of a real dinner restaurant (buffet only, all-day), and the lack of pool towels (you get 2 at the start of your stay and can only exchange them for new ones at weird, inconvenient times).

Loved the beach bar pool area that had its own walkway access to the sea. Beautiful beach and area. Breakfast and dinner buffet was included every night which was convenient, but the walk to town was only about 15 mins if we wanted to eat out. The hotel was pristine and modern. Live music every night and lots of places to lounge. Would definitely recommend!

You won't regret staying here!

We loved it here! The pools were lovely, the beach was amazing. We included the half board with our stay, breakfast and dinner, and were so glad we did, the food was so good! There were so many options, and all were delicious. We also enjoyed lunch at the beach club and drinks in the courtyard.
The room was very nice! Clean, quiet and comfortable. A/C worked really well and the bed was comfy.
The staff were all amazing, from the front desk to the restaurants and beach club staff. I can't wait to come back!!

Had a great holiday in beautiful surroundings. Hotel very clean and well maintained. Staff very efficient and friendly. Food at the poolside bar excellent. Buffet food in hotel was good quality and varied.
