We loved our stay at the Rocamarina, the adults only helped, but being just turned 60 we were on the younger side of most guests... lol. The hotel was clean and tidy, ample space in the room, excellent buffet breakfast and we opted for half board evening meal. There is plenty to choose from, and more than enough to try a bit of everything and feel full. We love Cala D'Or, and this hotel is just next door on the map, in Cala Egos, but the marina makes it a fair walk to the tavernas and the main centre. Cala Egos is smaller, and a little quiet, but Cala Pou beach is 2 minutes away and lovely. Staff were all lovely and helpful, especially the lead restaurant waitress who always had a smile and greeting for everyone. Ample free parking. Entertainment matched the clientelle, an was a bit dated for us, 1960's mostly, but the choice is yours. If you want younger stuff then the karioke over the road together with the large tv for the evening sports is always an option. A really nice gentle relaxing stay, with choices to meet most needs A++++

Lovely hotel in a lovely location near the beach and some local shops. Breakfast was lovely every day and enjoyed the odd cocktail which was reasonably priced. The reception desk staff were very helpful. If I had to mention downsides I’d say the beds were a little hard and the communal areas a little dated - neither of which would stop me from starting again. Would happily stay here again if I’m back in the area

We had a clean modern room and the hotel is well-located to some shops, restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and our room’s spacious balcony. Only negative bit of feedback would be that the communal and restaurant areas are a bit dated.

I think the hotel was wonderful and the staff were great. The cleaners were awesome. The downfall for us was that even away from the restaurant area in the bar area there is a no smoking rule. I understand this does not affect everyone but it would be great if the hotel had even a small smoking area where you would not have to leave the front doors of the hotel or go to your room and enjoy a drink. Another thing that was not so good was the bar. The cocktails were really below power and the menu needs a big update. The frozen daquiries were basically syrup with not even an ice cube inside. Just think the whole menu needs an update. The only thing that was anywhere near decent was the mojito. Other than the bar the place is spaciuos and wonderful. The staff are super friendly. Breakfast and dinner was always cooked wonderfully by the great chef :)

This is first time that we have visited the Rocamarina. We chose a seaview room (definitely worth it) From check in the staff were amazing. Friendly, professional and attentive. This made such a difference to our holiday. The entertainment, restaurant and pool area were brilliant. We'll definately be back 👍😊

One of the best hotels I’ve ever worked remotely from. You’re practically on the beach, the WiFi is superb, and there’s great food options in the hotel itself. I found it easy to fall into a rhythm and enjoy my time. This was my first solo trip and I felt safe and respected my whole time here. Heads up for fellow twenty-something’s though— the hotel is primarily catered towards older folks (aka excellent to work from home!)!

Booked this hotel last min as there was an issue with my original hotel. Found this to be an amazing price for the facilities & location but was skeptical bc the price was so much lower than surrounding hotels. Upon arrival I was impressed with how open the lobby was, it was very welcoming. The staff were so lovely & checked us in promptly. The room I admit was a bit outdated in terms of decor but it had everything you needed. I loved the many different large mirrors and the long table included. We got the street view on the 1st floor but it still had a nice view since it was slightly elevated (took many nice photos on this balcony). The booking also allowed free breakfast which we attended the first 2 days however on the 2nd day we were confronted by the maître de and were spoken to really rudely because we “weren’t sitting at the right table”. However we entered the breakfast area and there was no one at the front door so we had no idea there was assigned seating. This is our fault but no one informed us of this (both front desk and manager of the breakfast area). After that happened we never attended breakfast again which was disappointing. Another huge disappointment was the lack of phone reception and hotel wifi we got from our room. We weren’t the furthest room away yet we couldn’t get access to the internet. Howevereverything else was lovely, location was walkable to the eateries and lots of parking out front. Overall I loved my stay here, would definitely book again.

The hotel is in a residential area with shops and cafes, bars and restaurants in close walking distance. The hotel restaurant provided a buffet style breakfast and dinner service. Breakfast was excellent with great variety of continental and cooked foods. However, the evening dinner choices were limited and the food was fairly lukewarm. Also, it was disappointing that we were asked to pay additionally for table water. The overall comfort of the hotel was fairly good, and the hotel staff were very friendly.
I would stay here again but would dine out for evening meals.

Pros:
Very convenient area, close to beautiful beaches.
Airport coach transfers just outside the hotel
Friendly service and staff
Clean hotel and comfortable rooms
Entertainment is good cruise vibe but aimed for elderly
Good value food went for half board which include breakfast and dinner all you can eat.
A very deep pool which is rare to find

Cons:
The hotel lounge, restaurant and receptions is abit dated and still in the 90s.
Upon check in to the rooms there was a cockroach looking bug and mentioned to the receptionist. They called maintenance to use bug spray around the bed but I am asthmatic as mentioned.
Majority of the food in buffer was the same flavour and repetitive throughout the week, not much Spanish food. Roast dinner every night

Overall as a place to sleep a GOOD memorable experience

We had a pleasant week in Cala d’Or.
However, the hotel itself is quite outdated and in need of renovation. The interior felt very old-fashioned, the bed was hard as a rock, and we would not classify this as a four-star hotel. The staff at the reception were fantastic, though, and very friendly throughout the week. We received a bottle of wine as a birthday gift which we really appreciated.
The breakfast was definitely above average, but the dining area was extremely noisy, and we weren’t able to sit outside where we wanted, despite there being available seats.
The area is nice, but if you want to stay closer to the city (with more restaurants and beautiful beaches), I would recommend another location. We rented a car, which made it much easier for us to explore the island.

Eu fiquei dois dias no hotel, e foi horrível. Deixei minha bolsa um dia no quarto e sumiram itens como: colar de ouro, dólares, AirPods e carteira de habilitação e não tinha câmera no corredor que pegasse as portas dos quartos ( hotel grande) então fiquei sem saber o que se passou no cômodo e se alguém entrou durante meu período fora. Outra fator, TODOS os dias tem festa no térreo até as 23h, a parede é o chão do quarto tremiam devido som alto.

I stayed at the hotel for two days, and it was horrible. I left my bag in the room one day, and items like a gold necklace, dollars, AirPods, and a driver's license were missing. There was no camera in the hallway that could capture the room doors (it's a large hotel), so I had no idea what was going on in the room or if anyone had entered while I was away. Another factor was that there were parties on the ground floor every day until 11 p.m., and the walls and floor of the room shook from the loud noise.

Lige så godt som de to andre gange vi har været på Rocamarina. Ligger centralt. God morgenmad. Fik tilbudt strandhåndklæder for første gang. Fin service.
Det eneste er en del støj fra gartneren, da værelset (nr. 32) er tæt ved hans depot

Hvis du søger et 3 stjernet hotel er det fint. Et 4 stjernet hotel adskiller sig på væsentlige punkter fra et 3 stjernet. Her skal man give 3 EUR pr badehåndklæde til pool og strand for vask pr gang. Helt uhørt. Kaffen til morgenmad utåleligt hvis man drømmer om god kaffe på sin ferie.
Der manipuleres groft med billeder fra hotellet og man har en klar opfattelse af at man har adgang (gratis selvfølgelig) til det pool område og strand stole på den anden side af vejen. Men alt koster og skal tilkøbes.
Det er klart et ledelsesansvar der spiller ind her. Ejerkredsen vil tjene pengene flere gange.
Normalt brokker vi os aldrig og da slet ikke på 4 og 5 stjernet hoteller hvor vi mest befinder os.
Jeg har ca 50 hôtel overnatninger om året i hele verden og har et godt sammenlignings grundlag.

O Hotel é super gostoso, staff super gentil e solicito.
Café da Manhã e Jantar deliciosos e repletos de opções, super completos! Bem localizado, próximo a Calas e ao centro comercial da região.
Quarto limpo, confortável e espaçoso. Só um porem, a agua do chuveiro é salgadinha kk, não como a água do mar, mas prepare seu cabelo/pele, ele vai ficar seco!
Durante a minha estadia tiveram shows temáticos todos os dias a noite.

Hôtel stipulé 4 étoiles. Notre premier hôtel situé à Alcudia était un vrai 4 étoiles, neuf, moderne, propre. Celui-ci était vieux, la salle de bain était vieille et abîmée, les toilette quasi collés à la baignoire remplie de tâches et dont les joints étaient décollés, avec un flexible de douche qui fuyait. La tuyauterie était apparente et une seule vasque... Odeur de vieux meubles et sol peu propre. Ils ne changent pas les serviettes et c'est 3 euros pour en avoir des propres. Tenue polo et chemise exigée pour le dîner ... qu'il faut régler seulement en espèces. Je ne sais pas comment sont attribuées les étoiles aux hôtels, mais celui-ci est vieillissant, les chambres datent d'une époque lointaine et peu de confort... Pour finir très bruyant, chambres mal insonorisées, on entend autant les gens dans le couloir que dans leurs chambres. Bref nous ne recommandons pas, pour le prix payés il y a des 4 étoiles qui les valent mais pas celui-ci.

Extremely good value for money. We did like the super friendly and supportive staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel, nice views, extremely good breakfast and dinner (buffet). Also close to the beach, in a nice neighborhood. Easy parking. Good entertainment. Nice garden. Silent at night.
Only two minor points : Taking a shower in a bath tub is not an ideal situation and the matrasses were quite hard.
Overall I don't think you can get more value for money anywhere and else.

Cama terriblemente dura, termine la estadia con un dolor espantoso de cuello y espalda.

El promedio de edad de los huepedes es de 70 años y todo su enfoque es hacia ellos.

No recomendado para personas jovenes a menos que busques algo relajado (porque descansar en esa cama no van a poder).

Situé dans un endroit agréable, à deux pas des restaurants et de la marina ainsi que de la petite crique d’es Pou. Néanmoins, en période estivale énormément de monde sur cette toute petite plage, comme un peu partout sur l’île d’ailleurs.
Le personnel de l’hôtel est très aimable, courtois et toujours aux petits soins. Les spectacles le soirs (chanteurs) sont de bonnes qualité avec une employée qui se joint tous les soirs aux divers chanteurs pour une chanson. Et elle envoie !!! Une sacré voix… bref, un séjour très agréable.

Skuffende hotell. Det ene rommet var møkkete da vi fikk det. Det andre rant det vann fra ventilasjonen i taket som de ‘raparerte’ to ganger. Det førte til masse mugg og vond lukt. En natt virket ikke aircondition. Frokosten var ganske dårlig.

Hôtel qui accueille des touristes majoritairement anglais avec nourriture anglaise, petit show anglais tous les soirs, on se croirait au royaume -uni, ce n’est pas ce que l’on recherche à Mallorca
Ils prétendent avoir un parking mais il n’y a que 6 places. Heureusement le personnel est très gentil et efficace, belle piscine mais elle ferme a 19h a cause du show
