I think we were the only room without children ! Entertainment was for children every day morning and night . We got woken up daily from babies crying between 5-7 am . Food was child friendly . Not at all what we expected.
No jug or tea or coffee facility.
Great staff and beautiful hotel . Pool was great

We had a lovely stay at Calimera Fido Gardens and would recommend to others. The hotel itself was clean, staff were friendly and it does not have too many guests, making it easy to find a place around the pool and at dinner. The location is very good, there is a bus stop just over the road and the little cove Cala Egos is just a few minutes away, as well as Calo D'es Pou which is a slightly bigger beach which we enjoyed thoroughly. The food was pretty standard, they offered pasta, pizza, meats, salad etc.- if you are looking for a hotel with incredible food you will not find it here, but Calimera's food was certainly enjoyable for what we paid for it. The entertainment was good and finished at 10pm. The pools are beautiful and kept very clean

Beds were awful, whole rooms smelt like chemicals.

TV had been ripped off the wall and bare bracket visable.

Water was full of chemicals so if you showered you itched and felt dry skin!

My family and I stayed at this hotel in September 2022. We stayed half board where the breakfast and dinner was included. We had breakfast on our first morning which was ok. The evening meal had a sushi section which was great! I thought we were in for a great week.
We found that the majority of the guests were German, which isn't a problem in itself, but it meant that the entertainment was then catered towards the german guests.
The food for the remainder of the week was nowhere near as nice as the sushi offered on the first night. We tried the food for two more evenings, but it just wasn't good enough so we ate out for the rest of our holiday.
Aside from the food, there's nothing particularly bad about the resort. We wouldn't stay again and found the Inurotel Esmerelda resort to be of a higher standard all round (plus a better location).

We pre booked, checked in and checked straight out. Room was smelly, dated and low quality.

Main reason we booked was the pool images. it closed at 6pm just as we arrived. Family venue not for couples and a long walk to the main town.

I spent 5 nights here with my son before moving to a much nicer and smaller hotel in central cala d’or. The cala d’or gardens hotel was all inclusive but we were very disappointed with the food. The same every day and lack of choice. The pool was nice but it lacked atmosphere. We moved to a boutique hotel la ceiba Maria and it is much nicer. If you want all inc and drink all day maybe you’d like CDG but for us it was nice to change. We wish we had stayed the whole holiday at ceiba Maria. Also in cala egos there isn’t much in the evening. Beaches are nice though. Next time I won’t be pulled in by the so called all inclusive for the same price as b&b. On a positive, the room was clean and spacious and balcony large.

Très bien dans l’ensemble !!

Séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel le gros point fort et l’espace splash pour les enfants de grandes qualités. La restauration est de très bonne qualité également et les activités ainsi que les animations Chaque soir sont très sympa. Les equipes du mini club sont top !
Les points faibles vont se trouver au niveau de la chambre avec un lit 140 cm. Ce qui est vraiment petit pour un établissement, 4 étoiles, ainsi que la modernité de manière générale, la salle de bain est vraiment vieillissante et pas très bien entretenu.
Et enfin, pour le service de la restauration, très serviable, mais très oppressant dans la volonté de débarrasser chaque assiette ou couvert non utilisé. On ne peut pas aller se resservir sans que l’on revienne et que tous nos couverts ont disparu…

Sie haben keinen Aufzug, man muss unendlich viele Treppen raufgehen mit den Koffern. Niemand hilft einem. Die Zimmer werden dir auch nicht gezeigt, das musst du selber machen. Wirklich GAR NICHTS!!! wird einem gezeigt. Man muss alles selber machen. Das Hotel hatte nur ältere Leute und Familien mit Kindern. Also wirklich nichts für junge Leute. Es hat nichts besonderes für junge Leute die am Abend was machen wollen. Da ist man wirklich Fehl am Platz. Also ich würde definitiv nicht mehr hingehen.

Fint ophold. Maden var ok og udvalget stort. Ikke alle drikkevarer var med i all inclusiv. Der var masser af underholdning for børn. Der kunne til tider godt være meget larm både ved restaurant samt pool. De hvide solsenge koster 25€ pr dag hvilket gør at størstedelen står tomme og tager mange gode pladser ved poolen. Vil ikke anbefale stedet for rejsende uden børn.

Salty tap water but abundant breakfast

The tap water was slightly salted and basically impossible to drink for me. I tested the tap water at the airport: it was drinkable and not the same at all.

The breakfast buffet is abundant though, even if it starts quite late (7.30).
In general there is not so much care for details: there was no safe in the room and not not even a glass in the bathroom where to put my toothbrush. I had many ants in my room, attracted by my food.

The location is good if you plan to stay in Cala D'Or, but if you want to explore the island, is far from anything else.

Nice stay on a good hotel, nice bed,not like soft in sweden but we had a good sleep every night! A little bit noice room,beacuse of thin doors of wood, but people was quiet after 22.30,so we had a good sleep.
Kidz club was great for our 5 year old daughter, disco every evening,face painting,drawing,games, also bingo and quiz for adults after the disco!
Very nice and happy stuff at the hole hotel.
Good food and desserts!
Pool was great but a little cold in the end of october, but our 3 kids (5,12,14) loved it anyway!
Nere shops and restaurants, like 5 min walk. 1 beach in 5 min walk and 1 beach 15 min walk!
35 minutes walk to cala dor center on the otherside of the harbor,a very nice walk.

Fantastic place - we recommend!

Lovely stay at nice resort wonderfully located in Cala D’or. All Inclusive was very good - a wide selection of dishes and drinks; and we never missing anything. Fantastic pool areas, and OK padel & tennis facilities. Two wonderful beaches are within few minutes of walking distance, and a morning walk on the cliffs is magnificent. The hotel is a little dated, but was hardly noticed, as everything else was perfect!

Groot en mooi hotel. Goed eten en erg aardig personeel. Wij sliepen in het hoofdgebouw en deze was erg gehorig. Het water uit de douche was ook wat zout, wat een beetje jammer was. Verder een heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Hotel molto bello con piscina grande e stupenda. Avevamo l’opzione all inclusive e il cibo ci è piaciuto praticamente tutto, c’era molta scelta. Personale molto gentile. Delle signore ci pulivano la stanza quotidianamente. Ottima anche la posizione, in 10-20 minuti di auto abbiamo raggiunto tutte le spiagge che volevamo vedere. Bella esperienza!

L'hôtel à ete rénové récemment il est correct. Le parc la piscine et l'ensemble des batiments sont très joli, ca ressemble a un petit village.

Hotel familial beaucoup d'enfants, beaucoup de bruit. Non si vous recherchz du calme évitez.

Le restaurant et le buffet sont quans a eux désastreux, vieux, nourrite abondante mais de mauvaise qualité. Aucun gout à mauvais. Véritablement déçus. Nous avons meme écourté le sejours.

On sent une ambiance pensante au niveau du personnel, les managers réprimandent les equipes devant les clients. Les pauvres employés n'ont pas l'air heureux et ca se ressent sur le service.

Tolles Hotel mit vielen Möglichkeiten für Kinder. Das Essen war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Der tägliche Zimmerservice hat seine Arbeit gut erledigt und man konnte überall mit spanisch, englisch oder deutsch weiterkommen.

Les animations auraient peut être pu être plus nombreuses (1soir sur deux du bingo )
Par contre disco des enfants tous les soirs mon enfant était content
Complexe dépaysant mais les chambres auraient besoin d un coup de neuf
Personnel agréable mais peu organisé (trois matins dans la semaine nous n avions pas d eau pour prendre une douche sans avoir été prévenu j au téléphone à l accueil pour signaler ma surprise elle m a indiqué qu elle n allait tout de Merle pas contacter tout l immeuble concerné !

Empfangen wurden wir von sehr netten Personal die bemüht waren alle wünsche umzusetzen wir wollten zum Beispiel noch 2 Kissen haben, die würden uns sogar ohne wenn und aber innerhalb einer Stunde aufs Zimmer gebracht. Der Check in wurde auch früher ermöglicht da wir schon sehr früh da waren.

Zu der Anlage, die Anlage ist sehr schön es gibt 2 Pools der untere ist für die etwas kleineren und der große dementsprechend für die Schwimmer und dan gibt es noch den kleinen Wasserpark für die kleinen mit Rutschen und Wasserfontänen. Es gibt ein Restaurant und eine Bar und Spieleautomaten für Kinder. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, die Betten bequem. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit einen Balkon direkt neben dem Pool. Abends gibt es noch Programm, Animation je nachdem für Groß und Klein.

Direkt neben dem Hotel liegt der Strand ungefähr 3 Minuten Fußweg der ist meist sehr ruhig und nicht so überlaufen aber selbst wenn es gibt 10 Minuten Fußweg noch einen anderen Strand. Was ich sehr empfehlen kann ist das Schnorcheln in der Bucht man sieht von Krabben bis hin zu sehr großen Fischen alles. Muscheln suchen klappt auch gut aber Vorsicht in vielen sind Einsiedlerkrebse drinne.

Geschäfte gibt es umliegend auch sehr viele zur Verpflegung eroski Supermarkt oder die ganzen Souvenir und Ramschläden. Restaurant kann ich das Western Steak House empfehlen vielleicht nicht die traditionelle spanische Küche aber wer BBQ mag der wird das hier lieben die Cocktails sind auch sehr gut.

La estancia en el hotel no estuvo mal por que era día de piscina y ya esta, pero el bufete horrible, no había casi nada para comer, los desayunos penosos y menos para los niños ( ¿no van a comer cada día pasta con tomate no?), la piscina para adultos muy bien pero la de niños fatal ( el suelo limoso, el agua amarilla…), el personal del comedor y limpieza muy amables, en recepción muy simpáticos pero con muy poca capacidad de actuación, teníamos una reserva y ni siquiera la tenían en el sistema con nuestro correo de confirmación, el recibo del banco pagado etc y en vez de llamar al tour operador nos lo querían volver a cobrar y ya nos arreglaríamos y lo último es que ofrecen una animación genial cuando el animador ni si quiera habla en castellano y muy poco inglés, hace un bingo y dice unos números en castellano y después en inglés otros diferentes por ejemplo (número 8, number 33) , monta una minidisco (lloviendo) y en vez de subir a los niños al escenario ya que estaba tapado y el abajo, no…. Del revés y ni siquiera encendió las luces… cosa que si lo hubiera montado dentro, los niños hubieran podido disfrutar. Un fin de semana de lo más peculiar, no se lo recomiendo a nadie.

Lugar precioso de baja calidad

Tanto el hotel como su entorno es precioso. Hotel muy enfocado al público extranjero. El horario del restaurante y las piscinas acaba tempranisimo y la calidad de la comida es muy justa. Recomiendo no elegir la opción de todo incluido ya que todas las bebidas y cocktails son de preparados de sobre. Todos los trabajadores muy simpáticos y atentos

Für einen Kurzurlaub, wie wir es hatten, vollkommen ok.

El servicio del retaurante muy malo y encima te contestaban mal porque estaban saturados y agobiados por la maascarilla.
Unas colas horribles para comer.
Las habitaciones con puerta a la del vecino y se oye todo..y no te cambian de habitación diciendo que está lleno( mentira)
Las instalaciones viejas y el agua de la ducha salada como la de la piscina.
No volveremos ni lo recomiendo
