The resort was amazing! Great food, friendly service, and tons of activities for the whole family! We enjoyed all of the evening shows! The Disco, Rock, and Addams Groove were so impressive! The fire show at the beach was a great time too! Highly recommend for families - especially those with younger kids!

Generally a very nice holiday.
The positives: firstly a big thank you to all the staff, everyone we met was friendly and helpful, absolutely a great team.
The food, great choice for all and excellent quality, very enjoyable.
(remember it's a family resort so can be a bit chaotic at times!)
Lots of entertainment especially for the kids.
Kids loved the little beach and the hotel is located only 5 minutes (by bus or taxi) to a lovely little town/marina if you want to get out.

Negatives, nowhere for adults to get away for a bit of peace, no adult pool or bar so for us poor grandparents it was \"full on\".

Our rooms were quite old and dated, (block 12) which was a shame and did \"spoil\" the experience. We did bring to their attention a couple of issues after a few days, which we thought had been resolved including a damaged bathroom window. However
in one of our rooms that bathroom window fell open with no warning if one of the children was underneath, I dread to think. The tiled floor in the bedroom was sinking resulting in tile cracking with sharp edges.
I believe block 12 is the only accommodation not refurbished yet and other blocks did look new.
I would say the management did seem genuinely concerned and helpful in finally getting the window repaired but we should never had been put at risk in the first place.

That incident did spoil what would have been a lovely family holiday.

Perfect family holiday

This is a perfect family hotel.
That it is in a resort, makes it so relaxable, and there is no worries about people stealing, like on a public beach.
Also you don't have to go around worrying about your children.
A safe and relaxing super place

Familienzimmer sehr weit entfernt vom Speisesaal

Das Hotel hat ein grosses Angebot für Kinder, wir waren mit unserem Kindern und Enkeln dort.
Essen und Getränke waren wunderbar.
Wir würden trotzdem nicht mehr dieses Hotel besuchen weil wir uns was die Entfernung von unserem Apartment zum Hotel betrifft, sehr unzufrieden waren. Mit 2 Enkeln 4 Monate und 2 Jahre alt hat man uns ein Appartement Nr.4540 und 4541, die als Familienzimmer deklariert waren !!! zugeteilt,welches in maximaler Entfernung zum Hotel lag. Ca. 400 m. Entfernung zum Haupthaus mit Speisesaal ohne Rampen für die Kinderwagen. Wir mussten vom Appartement eine starke befahrene Straße überqueren, anschließend 2 Kinderwagen 3 Treppen ( nicht Treppenstufen) herauftragen. Das hat uns den Spaß am Urlaub sehr vermiest. Als wir, bzw. meine Kinder um ein näher zum Hotel gelegenes Zimmer baten (hier hätten wir keine Treppen steigen müssen)
sollte dies 75 Euro pro Tag extra kosten. Im Angebot des Hotels lässt sich in keiner Weise ersehen, dass die Familienzimmer aufgrund der Entfernung und der Treppen die zu steigen sind, für Familien mit Kleinkindern vollkommen unzumutbar sind.
Zumindest konnte mein Sohn erreichen, dass er sein Zimmer von der ersten Etage ( noch einmal 2 Treppen mit Kinderwagen hochtragen) in ein ebenerdiges Zimmer tauschen konnte.
Als Fazit bleibt, wer auf die Familienzimmer Falle hineinfällt kann zu jedem Essen 10 Minuten laufen und Kinderwagen über diverse Treppen hochtragen.
Sehr schade dass es ansonsten ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel ist.

Brilliant stay. Very satisfied with the pools, restaurants, staff, and entertainment.

Guests should be aware this property is massive so if not centrally located you have to walk across to the main restaurants and stage. It is also very busy in peak season with thousands of visitors.

Amazing reception staff who went above and beyond to accommodate us when it transpired there was a problem with our booking. All other staff were so hardworking, polite and helpful - iberostar please give them a raise! Food was delicious and entertainment was fab, we particularly enjoyed the acrobats and the kids loved the Moana themed show. Didn’t use the kids club but it looked great and the staff were awesome. Kids pool was a big hit with our littles. Thankyou for a fab holiday!

A great resort for families. Fabulous pools, multiple restaurants, great facilities and wonderful wonderful staff; the staff are honestly the best!

Only flaw is that the nightly entertainment goes on til 10pm or 11pm and is very loud.

Not very well thought-out considering it is so close to the supposed “family friendly” rooms (and most families with young kids will be putting them down around 8pm or 9pm.)

Hotel staff and location are fantastic. The rooms were clean and beds and pillows were very comfortable. The rooms are a bit dated and have chipped paint and bathroom tiles need maintenence. The layout of the resort is well designed. Food was good and drinks were great.

Exceeded our expectations. Nice property with tons of amenities and activities for kids. Allows parents to do their own activities. Beach is safe and accessible from hotel also an even larger and more sandy beach is about a 10 minute walk. Great food selections, friendly staff and even cool shows on the main stage every evening.

It would be helpfull and a necessity that couples without kids are informed through your marketing in advance that there is no possibility to find calm places to rest without loud kids and to have breakfast, lunch and dinner in an adequate way. The same belongs to pool areas.

First impression was very good but the closer you look the worser it gets.
Whole hotel complex is nice and the pools are all very cool. But there are a lot of small things which the hotel did not take care of dutyfully.
It is very noisy in the room, you can hear the room above very good.
It is an \"all inclusive\" hotel but then there are popcorn machines where you have to pay for...
Parking is quite tricky, there is a hotel parking area but it is allways full as it is very small. You can park on the street but as well, very full and hard to find a spot if you arrive late during the day.
In the room the safe did not work as well as a light (bulb was missing - > open your eyes housekeeping!) and an eletricity bolt did not work either. Maintenance was done very quickly after mentioning it but it did not work again the day after.
Glasses and plates at the bar/restaurant were more then once dirty. One had still the red lipstick from the previous customer on it.
Were not asked if we did enjoy our stay during check out. So I guess they don't care if you are happy or not.
Overall it was ok for the price but I guess if you look you will find better options for the same price on the island.

We have a lovely 4 night stay as a last minute booking. After staying here previously 5 years ago we had a good idea of what the hotel was like but it was certainly better than we remembered from our last stay.

It was busy but plenty of space and sun beds available. The rooms were comfortable with daily house keeping. Food in the restaurant was varied and caters for everyone. The evening and daytime entertainment was also great. This is an excellent 4* hotel and wouldn’t hesitate recommending a stay here.

It seems like all the restaurants on site offered the same food the entirety of the trip. Not much variety day to day. Rooms are outdated although clean. The pool is dirty and people leave their drinks cups all over the property and the staff don’t clean up regularly. It would be nice if the beach area had lounge chairs and a food bar available. The night shows are mainly catered to young kids. We have teens and would leave half way through show. Also, the employee from the Supermarket onsite is disgruntled and should not work in customer service. Extremely rude employee. All the other employees were pleasant.

We upgraded our room after night one. We had to check out by 11am and had no room until after 3pm. While usually we wouldn’t mind it makes it hard to change to go eat or get your little one a nap if you don’t have access to a room, shower or your luggage. Bathrooms in both rooms were pretty neglected. Basic cleaning (towels & sweep) seems like the only thing done.

We just got back from a 10 day vacation with our family and we had such a fabulous time at this resort.

Food: so many amazing options at the buffet and restaurants we were never bored of the food great variety. Added touch was the shots available every other night and the random party truck that just showed up at the beach with corona and popsicles.

Hotel: was immaculate and the staff were exceptional. The evening entertainment was so much fun the staff worked incredibly hard. We stayed in block 33 and it was a great location for the beach and close to the central area. The rooms were set up great for a family of 4 with a long bed and two twin beds in a separate room. Also 3 shops with souvenirs, essentials and food which the kids loved. There was also a photographer on site and available to take pictures around the pool or session with family.

Beaches and Pools: there was 8 pools to choose from and we enjoyed visiting them all. The main dome was a highlight for the kids and also what we called the bridge pool. We also spent some time at the pool furthest away and they had great burgers! The beach was awesome, in a small cove you could swim out to the caves and do some jumping off the rocks. It is a little rocky so be sure to bring water shoes and a snorkel there was so many fishes swimming underneath. My son had a blast searching for crabs and we even saw an octopus one evening!

I would highly recommend this hotel we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Its a very busy and noisy hotel. The buffet was not that tasty and the pools very extremely crowdy. People were fighting to get the best sunbeds and was ignoring rules around reservations on these.

This property had everything you could ever need for a family. So many dining options, drinks all day long, a splash pad, food trucks, a playground, a beach next door, a games arcade, a nightly show… just everything you need! Our only grip was that we were upsold our apartment with a view to the show in the evenings and although our apartment was absolutely gorgeous, the trees shielded the view of the show from our terrace.

The property itself was amazing, big pools cleaned daily and surrounded by trees which was lovely. There was a stage for activities and performances.The rooms were nice and big too but the bathroom door was broken so people could easily look in and the air con wasn’t working well. The staff were nice and helpful especially at the main bar. Food options were ok nothing amazing, would not recommend for a vegetarian and all the restaurants are buffet style where the food types didn’t really change. I expected atleast one proper restaurant. It was good for 3 days but really could not have stayed longer because of the food. Honestly expected better for the price paid and since it’s 4 stars. The only thing that made the experience better was the near by beaches for example Cala Mondrago. Will not be visiting again though.

We had a fantastic stay. The food was delicious and they were very careful with my son’s allergy.
Yes, the room was very out of date, but literally only spent time there for naps during the day.
The staff were super friendly, working as a team.
The shows were amazing, we love you Starky and Stella .
Massive thank you to Ana from the star camp for being so sweet to our son.
The cala is not great but we found another one nearby.

A great holiday at a beautiful hotel

The resort is in a beautiful setting, with a lovely cove and beach bar the highlight for us. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was excellent. Everything was clean but a few things would have improved our holiday even further:
- another area for the evenings, as we have older children who didn't enjoy the entertainment, but there was nowhere else to sit and have a drink
- all the toilet cubicles having working locks
- the air conditioning in the lower reception area being more powerful

We thought it was a fantastic hotel; the food was excellent and it was great to have a range of themed restaurants and evening specials e.g. sushi, baked potatoes, Mexican.

the resort does what it says on the tin. very family friendly, surprisingly good food (you have to kinda look for it but if you do, you can get away from just the trashy junkfood they put out for the brits), and very ample, motivated and very friendly staff. The water parks were a lot of fun for the kids, and they have other larger pools which are a bit quieter. Plenty of buffet options and lots of booze (tho sadly, only 1 type of beer!)

we are not normally \"resort people\" but due to an injury i am on crutches and we figured this was the best we could do with the kids, and we were both quite pleasantly surprised at the quality of everything.

the resort when we were there was about 40-40-20 british german other, and there was lots of people watching and accent indentifying. :) the cultural stereotypes of the tourists were as much fun for me and my wife as the pools were for the kids.

The staff were very helpful, especially in the restaurants! I'm newly diagnosed with celiac and the chefs were very accommodating and helpful walking through my foods options (special thanks to Pedro, Kun and the sous chef at the Mediterranean restaurant).

Note: this resort is very geared to children. There are none to very limited options for adults. No disco, adult themed shows, drinks environment in the evening, etc.

There is a beautiful beach nearby (walking distance), the one onsite is very rocky. Rooms are old but decent. There is no bottled water or iron in the room, if you want to use the safe its a daily charge! There is also no minibar in the room, again you need to pay extra (for pop, water, beer). Alcohol choices are limited, no top shelf options and the wine in the draft format is terrible.

Overall it was decent. Food & staff were great but atmosphere, rooms, onsite beach were just ok.

Nice safe area with lot’s of things to do with the family.
Internet access, neither connection is not well, which means no online games for kids.
You have to fight for the seats near the pool if you’re not the morning person but that’s a challenge everywhere I guess.
Food, restaurants and drinks are well placed and perfect.
Shopping area easy to access with great choices.

Beautiful setting for this mega-hotel

The setting for this mega-hotel is gorgeous and there are some really special postcard-perfect coves and beaches with bars and cafes that are accessible along the cliff paths or via the frequent bus service that runs from opposite reception. There are multiple pools to choose from - our 4 year old granddaughter loved the one with the big flamingoes! Food is fresh, tasty and plentiful, and the staff are friendly. It’s a great hotel for families- don’t go if you are looking for a child-free environment!! There is a kids’ disco - but it’s not very well organised - the little dancers are crowded into some sort of mosh-pit in front of the stage, then there is usually a wall of parents standing behind - so we often couldn’t see our little one from our seats. And check-in is chaotic, despite the friendly staff - families are made to queue for a transfer to their room in one of only a couple of golf-style buggies, great fun to ride but not such fun if you are standing outside reception waiting for one to appear.

Family holiday with 6 and 10 year old. Room was basic but ideal for a family with the 2 sofa beds in the lounge area.The kids area is great, with the slides, bouncy slide pool and main pool. Snack vans both very good, we didn't bother using the restaurant for lunches.
Only used one of the buffet restaurants, food was good with loads for kids.
The beach isn't exactly an inviting one but there are a couple of really nice sandy ones within a mile

Good place if you are looking for a loud place

Although our stay was a bit disappointing, overall our stay was pleasant ! However this is not a place to go to if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway since oud music is played during the entire day in the pool area and can be heard all over the complex! The services provided by the hotel are not what one would expect of a 4 star hotel and do not always reflect what is advertised on the website. The food is ok but not great and becomes monotonous, since the same food is served in all the restaurants with some minor variances. At breakfast only coffee is offered (instant from the machine).. if you want a nice freshly brewed coffee you need to go to the bar and if you want tea or hot chocolate you need need to ask for it separately if you can find a waiter. The \"all inclusive\" is a bit misleading since you have to pay extra if you want to drink a decent bottle of wine with your dinner. Last but not least the staff are not all properly trained, they do not always provide you with accurate information, and often contradict themselves. Although they have set up slots for meals you still need to queue and wait patiently in line for a while to be offered a table. If you do go, I recommend you book a table for dinner at the restaurant by the beach.

Really lovely hotel. Lots of different areas and pools.All Well spread out. Almost like a little village. Beautiful setting. We really enjoyed breakfast on the beach at the restaurant there. Evening entertainment great including cinema nights. Kids club and their reps were amazing. Totally different level Of activities and interaction with kids to any others we’ve been to. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Food was good but not as amazing as the rest of the hotel but I think that was due to restrictions around coronavirus. great processes and policies in place around COVID and staff were all well trained and thorough.

Great facilities but mind the noise

Hotel has great facilities and food was decent. Our room was a bit disappointing because of its location, the balcony faced some sort of service building which had a noisy fun running 14/7 so we could not sit out on it at all. Plenty of other spaces throughout the complex to hang out and relax in though.
It’s VERY family oriented so full of pre-school age children in late September which can get noisy. Still, we found some quiet spaces by the less kid-friendly pools.
Recommend to take a walk to Cala Mondrago beach and Portopetro if you need to get away from it all for a bit.

This was a great location on an amazing rocky beach. The food was good, esp. the salad bar. The mixed drinks came out of a fountain machine so they were disappointing. Beer on tap which was nice. Big negative was the bad septic smell in certain areas. First nite in room was beyond awful, the smell of septic was so overwhelming we were forced to switch rooms. The other negative for me was that I never saw workers pick up dirty cups by pool all day so we were forced to see them pile everywhere. That's a simple fix by always having someone walk thru at least once an hour...

Staff here were incredible from the cleaners to the entertainment staff. The food quality and choice for an AI was fantastic. Brilliant for kids and adults with lots to do. Very busy but run like a well oiled machine and somehow you didnt notice how busy it was. If you reallg want a quiet holiday then this probably isnt for you and more geared towards families. You must be child friendly. We had a brilliant time with 2 kids 12 and 15. Would return.

This was a family holiday for us. We loved every minute at the resort. Honestly, we could not criticise any aspect of the service or facilities.

We’d stayed at this resort three years ago and expected it to be a little ‘worn’ or maybe dated since our last visit. This wasn’t the case. The staff and maintenance team are constantly working to ensure the whole resort is clean and polished.

This hotel resort is definitely for families with young children. Excellent facilities and entertainment for families. It’s busy and noisy with the sound of children having fun. Not a place for couples who want a peaceful holiday. Entertainment staff are incredible. Food is extremely good with great choice. We had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

This is more a 3* star than a 4*. Bedrooms are very dated and need a little TLC. The hotel staff at fabulous - keeping the hotel clean and are attentive. The children's camp staff work really hard and the entertainment is pretty good. Food can be really repetitive but equally there are three main restaurants and beach restaurant - but keep this is mind if you are booking for longer than a week. In the middle of nowhere but a good bus route and 10 mins in a cab to Cala D'or if you want to escape the all inclusive.

Great location and excellent family resort with my 3rd visit there with the kids. It has fantastic beaches near by and everything you need on the resort! The variety of food is unreal and unlimited booze is never a disappointment. Only downfall I would say is the check in and check out is always slow with the staff.

No tea/coffee facilities in the room - frustrating when it's a good 5 minute walk along a busy road to the restaurant/bar

Most staff were nice, but it was clear they focused more on the Spanish guests. From a Friday afternoom til Sunday afternoon the place is swarming with local tourists so be prepared for it to be very busy all weekend

Evening entertainment wasnt bad, good for kids in particular.

Great location in the national parc of mondrago, allowing you to explore this amazing area and swim in beautiful water.
The hotel is very big but you dont really feel it as it is built as several building / area. The rooms we got were large and clean with balcony.
The restaurants are only buffet and you find the same offer for most of the meals. However, there is no way to have diner after 9.30 PM if you haven't book your diner as the buffet which does not require booking closes at 9.45 PM and you will need to wait until 11.00 PM to get a cold buffet - which made our first evening disappointing as no one told us to book a restaurant for the first evening and we arrive starving with no way to get any food.
Also, lots of family (as you would expect from a all inclusive club) so be aware of it if you want a quiet place - this one might not be the best.
The spa is ok - only treatments which are fine.
Maria from the front desk was very nice and helpful (somehow always at the reception when we were going there!)

Great value, good entertainment and food choice

Resort very large - aim to get near block 53 - reception, main restaurant, entertainment. Rooms comfortable but question 4 star. Main restaurant gets too busy - book one of two private restaurants to secure quieter dining (and fewer kids running wild). Plenty of pool space and lots of activities on site or bookable from site. Gym is adequate and lots of tennis courts. Location good as 45 mins transfer and close to port etc for venturing out if going stir crazy. All in all cannot complain at the price.

A very busy but well run all inclusive resort

The staff all try immensely hard to ensure you have a thoroughly enjoyable experience. There is plenty of entertainment and exercises classes galore and right on top of a beach. Yes it’s subbed hell - my only recommendation to the hotel - have a policy that if a subbed isn’t used for over an hour remove the towels.
Also make use of the space by the food trucks for more evening entertainment. I fell by chance on the 80’s night and it was fabulous so more of that please.
This was my second year and not disappointed at all second time around (aside from the cava on ice outside the bar not being there)

Suits every family requirement

The hotel was fantastic. So many different areas to go throughout the day, 2 main pool areas are great with so much fun on offer but also plenty of hidden pools and relaxing areas to stay away from the hustle and bustle. So clean and so well decorated. Beautiful beach and a few more gorgeous ones a short walk around the corner. It really has everything. EVERY member of staff was an absolute credit to iberostar. So thoughtful, so in sync with what their customers want and they all look happy.
Fantastic activities and entertainment. And beautiful food with so many different dining options. Will definitely return.

ALL STAFF extremely helpful and nothing too much trouble. Rooms spacious and very clean and comfy. Good Air con, blackout curtains and a good shower are all a big plus. Food great, lots of choice and kids well catered for too. Snack bars by park nice idea. Entertainment best I’ve seen in a hotel before. Entertainment team always friendly and fun. Gr8 with kids. Pools lovely and so many to choose from. only a couple of things I would change ... the hotel need to stick to their no reserving of sunbeds policy as it was a big problem to find anywhere to sit if we weren’t up before 9am. Towels on every sunbed but noticed some weren’t even used for nearly whole day!!! Also just a small thing would but it would be good to have kettle in the room but otherwise 10/10 👍 thanks for great holiday.
