The property for an all-inclusive package charged 1 euros per day per towel and $25 euros for one week for the safe box. I have never experienced that traveling any where in the Europe or any part of the world especially for all-inclusive facility. Food was fine but they mostly make a lot of pork dishes.

Average stay

The stay was very average. I will start with the pros first:
The location: it is in a very quiet area with the most amazing views of the sea. If you want to venture out, there are a few restaurants and bars near by and cala d'or is a 20 min taxi ride away if you want all the touristy stuff
The staff: super friendly staff- they will go out of their way to assist.
A lot of space and available sunbeds: there is a lot of space around the resort and the 6th floor. Lots of places to tan!
Sauna and steam room: lovely little assets to the hotel

Cons:
Food and drinks: very repetitive and quite salty. Cocktails were quite sweet for our liking as were the juices.
Air con: the air conditioning was not the best around the hotel especially in our room.
Rooms: quite dated and the rooms occasionally had a smell
Towels: as an all inclusive resort, I would have assumed that the towels would be all inclusive, but we had to put a deposit per person as well as €2.50 per day to use them.

All in all, it was an average stay, however 2 out of the 4 days we were there we went out in the evening for dinner and went out once for lunch. If you like just chilling by the pool from morning till sunset this place is for you, however i think as a couple, we needed a little more adventure and things to do.

Amazing. Best part of Mallorca trip

Absolutely amazing. I rented a car and drove all over Mallorca. This was by far my favorite location and hotel stay. Amazing property to stay at and enjoy the view, also many beautiful beaches nearby.

The best thing about the property were the staff, they were very helpful, friendly and had a good sense of humour. The property itself was nice, especially the bathing areas which were on different levels, therefore giving more privacy. The bedrooms were kept clean and were comfortable. My only complaint about the rooms were there were no nets on the window and as my room faced the front and was on the first floor I had to keep my curtains drawn during the day when I was in the room as there was no privacy. So they need to have nets on all the window. I have never stayed in an hotel without nets on the windows.

Loved the swimming pool with lanes, the staff really friendly and happy to help with directions plus the ease of check in and check out. We arrived in middle of lunch and they took our bags gave us bands so we didn’t miss lunch! Very thoughtful!

We have just arrived back after 6 days at this hotel and I just had to leave a review to say how good it was.
It's located in between Portocolom, a little harbour with really nice restaurants all along the front, and Cala Marcal, a beautiful beach with a few more restaurants, bars and cafes dotted around. It's not a place with a lot of nightlife, but if you want stunning scenery and lots of good food and drink, it's perfect.
The hotel itself has the most amazing views. You can see the lighthouse at Portocolom and then just the calm, blue ocean.
The staff at Cape Colom are so friendly and helpful, they speak lots of languages, so all the guests can communicate with them easily. They can't do enough for you.
The food was excellent, buffet style and there was always lots of choice. The breakfast in particular was amazing, with fresh omelettes, pancakes, fruit, pastries, meat, eggs, toast, bread etc.
The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous. You can choose to sunbathe around the pools, on the rocks overlooking the sea, or under the shade of the beautiful trees. There's always lots of sunbeds and umbrellas available, and the place never feels busy.
The rooms are quite basic, but they're spotless and the aircon was a welcome touch!
I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I loved everything about it, and would go back in a heartbeat.

The hotel was beautifully located. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. Not lavish but rated as 3 star so exactly as one would expect. The staff, however, were delightful. Constantly smiling, extremely helpful and worked so hard.
The food was plentiful and good quality and the all inclusive drinks flowed as fast as anybody could ask for.

All in all, an excellent value for money stay and, as long as you're not expecting 5* accommodation in a 3* hotel, you should be delighted. 5*s to the staff, though.

Great value - location amazing. Food was good.

We ended up having an amazing stay. On checking in we were informed our room was no longer availalble due to a leak and there were no more rooms. They put us in their 'sister' hotel which was pretty bad, so we ended up getting to come back the next day. They upgraded our room to the BEST room possible - which really was stunning. Wow, the view! The hotel is really well located right on a cliff (where you can even dive from if you are brave!) with ocean access into the cove. Just stunning. They also upgraded us to all-inclusive which was super nice to have. They have some great activities at night if you want to participate. The gym is on the top floor overlooking the ocean, although it needs maintenance badly as many machines are broken - but, still nice to have. Sauna is great! The staff is SUPER friendly and nice. The food was also really good, which honestly is hard to do for all-inclusive pieces. We were very impressed. We did not purchase the wifi because it is 15 Euro and we heard the speed was poor. I think it should be free as this is common among almost all hotels now. We just used a HotSpot on our phone, but hey - if you are on a real holiday maybe you dont want internet anyway ;)

I had late flight but the hotel allows guests to use a shower and offers towels which is really handy
The food is really nice with mostly a good selection.
The rooftop gym itself is very basic with no Aircon. However, the panoramic views are amazing!

This hotel is a basic three star but you won't be found wanting! It's location is superb, set on a quiet street in Porto Colom, the back of the hotel and resort area is the best I've ever been to - breakfast and sunbathing at the cliff edge facing the sea and entrance to Cala Marcal. Breakfast is average - some parts nicer than others - but water is on tap all day and with two swimming pools, jacuzzi, gym, tennis, table tennis, pool and access to open water swimming, it is well worth the price.

Situated on top of the rocks, for my taste great location. Best part, adults only hotel made our experience even better. They could keep the terrace floor a bit cleaner but not a big deal. All in all very pleased with the hotel, staff and food.

Watch out for noisy live music

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was the worst hotel we stayed in. We got put in a room on the first floor just a flight of stairs around from the reception. As soon as the evening approached, we could hear very loud live music playing from the lobby, and when I asked the lobby when the show was going to stop as it's too loud that we couldn't sleep with the noise, the receptionist told us until midnight and shrugged his shoulders said nothing could be done about it. Totally not apologetic for the guests who need to put up with the noise, which lasted both nights during our stay. Awful! Breakfast otherwise was okay, enough variety but wouldn't say it was great.

Amazing quiet place, perfect for couples. Fantastic room with a terrace and great facilities. Food ok, but can get repetitive and menu not always reflective of what is on offer. Local area beautiful and unspoilt by noisy tourism. We never were disturbed and slept extremely well. Hotel is a little dated, but would require only small changes to bring it up to an exceptional standard. A rule or policy notice on the sauna and whether it is acceptable for nudity would be appropriate, as was rather a shock to be faced with naked bodies when it was not expected!

Small room and small balcony .

Rooms at front are small with a tiny balcony chair could only fit sideways .... bed and bed linen good as was the towels . Very clean . Could do with another pool and more staff at the bar . Use of a bedroom for changing due to late departure would be preferable to using shower room in main foyer. Hotel transport to and from airport would be ideal instead of coach transfer which are 2hrs plus

Loved our stay at this hotel as it had a great European mixture of English, Germans, French so if you like hotels all English this is not for you. The facilities were spot on and on the cliffs so you can go cliff diving. Food was good quality mixture of soup, salad, meats, pasta, deserts etc, but could have done with a special board advertising what the chef was cooking. Drinks are standard all inclusive.
All the staff very helpful and I would like to thank Daniel front of house, Natalie and Mar who made each meal time special as they were all very friendly.

View from gym, sauna area is excellent and worth a visit on the 5th floor.

Also bus stop outside hotel with various routes around majorca especially up and down the east coast.

My mum and I went for a few days in June and we had a lovely relaxing time. The views from the hotel are stunning and there is a lovely tranquillity about the place. There are bus stops nearby which take you to other resorts, which was very handy. The food is good, although sometimes it was not that warm. All the staff are very pleasant and always greet you warmly.

Nice place but a bit dissapointing.

First of all, I have no issues with it but this hotel is predominantly German which may disappoint some people. I find them great.
The staff were on the whole unfriendly and made no attempt to make the stay special.
The food was fine but the drinks were economy range - cocktails are made in a vending machine, the white wine was warm some days and they don't do a nice pint.
The rooms are a bit tired and the blankets smelt old.
On the whole the place needs a bit of a revamp internally.
The grounds and pools on the other hand are great and the location overlooking the sea is lovely.
If you venture out at night, there are great restaurants and cocktail bars - get a local map.
On the whole I had a lovely time but the hotel internally, the staff and the all-inclusive drinks could do better.

Great views of the sea

We arrived on rainy day and were greeted by a friendly staff. We took to offer to upgrade our room to the sea side and it proved to be one of the best decisions ever! The hotel is located at the edge of a cliff with amazing views of the sea. The only sounds we heard during our five days stay were the waves breaking on the rocks. The hotel itself has a gym and spa at the top floor, surrounded by glass walls - the incredible 360 degree views motivated us to exercise more. The rooms are simple and clean and the food is ok. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is right between the harbour and the sandy beach of the village. We would defiantly go back.

Inicialmente fiquei decepcionado pois no ato de reserva havia informado que havia estacionamento disponível (independente de pago ou nao). Chegando la perguntei por estacionamento e me informaram que nao havia e que teria que deixar o carro na rua. Fiquei 20 procurando vaga na rua a 1.1 km do hotel. Pior de tudo, nao deixaram nem eu deixar as malas antes, tive que andar com elas! Nao recomendo este hotel para quem esta de carro esperando um estacionamento.

Prachtige omgeving met overal ligbedjes met uitzicht op de oceaan. We hadden all inclusive en het eten is uitgebreid en wordt dagelijks afgewisseld met nieuwe gerechten. Het drinken viel tegen; cocktails lijken meer op meer sapjes en wat Seven-Up moest voorstellen was water met prik. Hoewel de kamers schoon en netjes zijn en de bedden beter slapen dan verwacht, is het erg gehorig. Je kan alle geluiden van je buren horen. De medewerkers zijn allemaal heel vriendelijk en attent; borden worden snel weggehaald.

Wunderschöne Lage, schöne Anlage, ausschließlich freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal und generell sehr sauber (Anlage inkl. Zimmer)

Das Frühstück war total okay.
Das Abendessen ist leider nicht so gut.
Der Fisch war zweimal gestorben und es fehlten Gewürze. Leider war das Essen auch nicht sehr regional.

Die Zimmer könnten eine Renovierung vertragen und im Bad gab es keine Lüftung oder sie hat nicht funktioniert.
Die Betten waren allerdings sehr bequem.

Alles in Allem ein sehr gutes 3 Sterne Hotel.
Wegen des Essens würden wir jedoch nicht nochmal anreisen.

Die Restaurantempfehlung der netten Dame an der Rezeption war allerdings unfassbar gut!

Virkelig en fantastisk ferie med familien.
Mine forældre havde guldbryllup og blev opgraderet samt hotellet var så vidunderlige at de overraskede med champagne.
Personalet var rigtig søde, smilende og hjælpsomme.
Super gode faciliter, rigtig lækker og god variation af mad.. Små forretter, fisk, spaghettiret, risret, pizza, paella, gullash, kød/fisk/burger/kebab på grillen, salat, frugt, kager, is, desserter..og meget mere .. samt lækre drinks... Kokken var selv ude og spørge til vores mening om maden og tog gerne imod ønsker.
Vi nød den fantastiske udsigt og den gode atomsfære..
Selvom der var fully booked var der rigeligt af plads til alle. Vi fik spillet tennis, hoppet fra klipper, var i havet, snorklet, svømmet i pools, trænet i fitness, slappet af i dampbad, sauna og spaen.
Værelserne var lidt slidte, men pæne og rene.
Vi vil helt klart anbefale dette hotel og vi kommer helt sikket igen.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen ruhigen Urlaub. Die Anlage an sich ist etwas älter was jedoch durch die Lage ausgeglichen wird, denn der Ausblick ist großartig . Das Mobeliar ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Poolumgebung etwas lieblos. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich, der Service immer sehr freundlich und Spiele zum Ausleihen gibt es auch. Der Wellnessbereich / das Gym liegen im 6 Stock und bietet neben ausreichend Möglichkeiten zum Sport machen eine atemberaubende Aussicht.
Die Bushaltestelle ist in 10 Minuten gut zu erreichen. Rundum ein schönes, ruhiges Hitel mit tollen Klippen und Zugang zum Meer.

Wirklich sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, bei dem man sieht, dass der Job auch unter Stress in der absoluten Hochsaison, mit ganzem Herzen ausgeführt wird. Dies wird nicht zuletzt an dem sehr herzlichen und für kleine Optimierungen offenen Hoteldirektor liegen. Bei der Qualität der Hotelzimmer muss man kleine Abstriche in Kauf nehmen, da etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was jedoch in Anbetracht der Preis/Leistung kein Problem sein sollte. Dafür haben die meisten Zimmer einen atemberaubenden Blick auf's Meer und die Infrastruktur des Hotels, wie die Terrasse, SPA mit Sauna und Whirlpool umgeben von einer grosszügigen 360 Grad Sonnenterrasse mit einer mega Aussicht auf das tiefblaue Meer können von der Qualität mit so manchem fünf Sterne Haus ohne weiteres mithalten... Alles in allem war es ein sehr angenehmer und entspannter Aufenthalt

Pas reposant

Hormis un emplacement et une vue exceptionnels, il n'y a qu'un pauvre buffet pas très appétissant et pas fonctionnel (le potage est à l'entrée à côté des desserts), les chambres sont viellottes et les draps trop petits rapport au matelas : on a fini la nuit sur le molleton...), et, comble du raffinement, les femmes de ménage commencent avant 6h00 du matin à bouger les meubles sans retenue !

Wer sehr viel Ruhe möchte ohne Party Tourismus, ist bestens aufgehoben. Wie das Abendprogramm des Hotels aussah, kann ich nicht beurteilen, wir waren nie da. Ansonsten: die Liegen sind überall verteilt u kostenlos, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Viel Platz hat man auf jeden Fall u je nachdem, wo man liegt, viel Ruhe. Im Vergleich zu einem anderen Hotel, wo wir vorher waren, war es im JS sehr entspannt u ruhig. Nicht, dass es leblos war, nein, aber durch den vielen Platz war es sehr angenehm. Ich hätte es nie für möglich gehalten, dass ich mal 3 Tage ein Buch lesend auf einer Liege verbringe u mich entspannt fühle. Zwischendurch im Meer baden, herrlich, wenn Feuerquallen da waren, eben den großen Pool zum ausgiebigen Schwimmen nutzen, auch herrlich. Den anderen Pool direkt am Hotel haben wir nicht genutzt. Frühstück war okay, für jeden etwas dabei. Ich persönlich hätte gern noch Chia Samen, Leinsamen u.ä. gehabt, aber verhungert bin ich dort bestimmt nicht. Spiegelei, Omelette frisch zubereitet, es gab sehr viel frisches Obst. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen (wackeliger Schreibtisch, Duschvorhang nicht mehr zeitgemäß, mehr Ablagen im Bad, löcherige Badetücher sollte man besser aussortieren). Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Begrüßung durch Miguel auch. Wir fühlten uns willkommen. Alles in allem kann man das Hotel empfehlen, wenn man abends nicht so viel Leben braucht. Aber Cala D'Or ist nicht weit...
