We had a very good stay at Villa Asfodeli with a very nice staff who were very helpful and accommodating. They gave good guidance in the area about what to do and what restaurants were nearby. They even lent us an umbrella against the sun when we went to the beach. We are very happy with Villa Asfodeli and the small village.

On booking in we were upgraded to a suite (probably to accommodate the many motorcycle and pedal cycle group tours that use the property). The suite was overly large for 2 people, was musty smelling, very dark and overlooked the road with no pleasant view. In retrospect we should have asked to see this room before accepting the upgrade and felt that we should have been notified in advance of this change in arrangements.
We hadn't realised that Villa Asfodelli is in fact 3 separate buildings with a short walk between them. One would be recommended to book a room with a garden view, preferably in the main building where breakfast is served.
We didn't use the pool. The garden has pleasant long range views.
I felt that the paving around some of the outside spaces was downright dangerous and that the garden area as a whole was rather poorly maintained.

The only little objection is that my reservation was for a room with garden views but they gave us a room in other renewed house with sea views and a little terrace in front of the main one, so we had to cross the street to access to the pool and garden.

Perfect stay
Cannot recommend more highly if you're looking for a unique and peaceful hotel. Our room (suite 204) was spacious, comfortable and spotless with a balcony overlooking the lemon trees in the garden and rolling hills down to the coast. Maria Cristina led a team of warm, helpful staff and we we enjoyed a lovely breakfast each day. The gardens and pool area, with sea and sunset views were an oasis of calm and relaxation. A short drive from the stunning town of Bosa. Book; you won't regret it!

The most charming and lovely hotel
A charming, welcoming, comfortable, classy small hotel in a historic building nicely restored in the center of a pretty village ten minute drive from the beach. In truth, however, it has been hard to move away from the lovely swimming pool, enjoying the best view on the valley. The best of this amazing place is nevertheless the professional and dedicated yet pleasant and relaxed service provided by the multilingual staff. Breakfast is nice and served in the garden. With some improvements this hotel could easily become an exclusive five-star, but we’d better keep that for ourselves, we don’t want them to change anything.

The best thing about this hotel was without doubt the friendly and charming owners for whom nothing was too much trouble. We were disappointed with the first room we were given since it was rather dark and with very dated furniture. We changed rooms and our whole experience improved.

This is a very nice hotel that caters particularly to cyclists, they rent high quality bikes at a very good rate and they are in the middle of a great area to ride in. Caroline the owner is very friendly and has good English. The town itself is very small and kind of in the middle of nowhere about 70 kilometers from Alghero airport. But if you want a nice place to stay with great food and especially if you are a cyclist it does not get a whole lot better. April is probably the best month or May it is too hot during the summer.

Perfect location for the west coast visits
The hotel is located on a hill from which there is a breathtaking view (provided you ask for a room with a view). Staff is very nice and attentive to all requests. It is a hotel with class. Breakfast in the garden with an excellent coffee and home made bread. For dinner, the next door ristorante provided perfect food for a very reasonable price. The only problem was air-condition, which was very noisy the first night and decided to break down the second. Luckily, open door and a fresh air made it up.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Asfodeli. Having breakfast in the middle of the large, green garden and enjoying the pool with a view was a highlight of our vacation in Sardinia. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were large and well-equipped. It's about 20 minutes by car to Bosa and about 60 minutes to Alghero. We highly recommend staying there.

Unterkunft mit wunderschönem Garten und tollem Blick auf das Meer. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich, das Frühstück ist gut. Das Haus ist aus dem 18. Jahrhundert und passend renoviert. Die Umgebung war nicht ganz ruhig da man mitten im Dorf wohnt. Die Matratze fand ich recht hart, durch die alten Gemäuer war auch die Wasserversorgung der anderen Gäste zu hören. Trotzdem ist die Unterkunft sehr charmant und empfehlenswert.

In der Villa Asfodeli fühlt man sich vom ersten Tag an wie zuhause. Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus in einer einmaligen Lage. Die familiäre Atmosphäre und der einzigartige und herzliche Service sind einfach toll. Man erhält viele Tipps zu Ausflügen und der Umgebung und fühlt sich als würde man Urlaub bei Verwandten machen. Frisches Obst aus dem Garten zum Frühstück und der tägliche Blick aufs Meer haben den Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet. Wir wollten gar nicht mehr nach Hause.
