Very nice, clean place to stay. Very close to a Walmart, CVS, and a laundromat. We also had a nice walk to a nearby residential area where we saw a group of wild peacocks. Also a very nice cozy Tiki Hut bar.

the karaoke was quite loud from our room, but the rest of our stay was quiet despite being close to the venue. The turqoise microwave and fridge were exceptional.
The shower was fantastic, and we liked the extra pilllows.

Weird smell, to the point my cpap pieces had to be changed out because it retained the stench. Think it was just the cleaning products and poor circulation before we checked in. The lingering clean mildew smell.

I live in Miami and I’m familiar with the older model motels that used to be on Miami Beach. That’s what this reminded me of. It’s an older style motel but very very well kept. The pool area is beautiful. It was nice that there was a little microwave in refrigerator in the room, I regret my coffee maker not working in my room, but they do have coffee in the lobby. Went to my granddaughter’s gymnastics competition and was perfect for a quick getaway.

Room was far from their tiki bar, but they had a DJ playing very loud music on the outside patio until 11PM. It was so loud, sounded like the speakers were outside our door. We called the front desk to complain and they said they couldn't do anything avout it.

Check in was a breeze and the lobby smells amazing. The staff were so nice and welcoming. The rooms showed their age a little but it was clean and well stocked. You get a complimentary drink from the hut which is so cool. We loved having a cocktail and getting to relax after a long travel day. We will definitely be back.

Room was very clean and freshly renovated. Bed was comfortable. We were looking forward to stopping by the tiki hut bar and were told it closed at 12, but they must have closed early. We stopped around 11 and it was already locked up.

This is a 1950’s- era motel with smaller rooms, tiny bathrooms, and minimal amenities. Rooms were clean. No fitness room, average outdoor pool, no hot tub. There is an adjacent bar/grill and you can get limited food ordered at window next to pool. Coffee is available in the morning by the front desk. Bath towels seemed to be in short supply as we had to request fresh bath towels two days as we did not receive new ones. Staff though are very friendly and they quickly try to handle any requests. Conveniently located near airport, between Sarasota and Bradenton and plenty of free parking. Overall it was Ok but I would not call it a resort.

4th time staying here. This last time was great too other then the occasional smell of weed coming from the people above us…but with that said still a great value and close to lots of beaches and shopping. Bai Hut is Awesome…great bartenders

This was a neat little place. Like its own village. Bar was hopping with drag bingo. We got two free drinks for being VIP Expedia. The beds were the comfiest beds we ever slept in. It was impressively clean and up to date. We were there when the TVs were out but we just hung out outside on the balcony.

This was one of the worst places ever. For starters, the front desk clerk tried to deny my granddaughter‘s service pet by saying that people with PTSD/anxiety do not need service dogs they have emotional support animals when in fact that is far from the truth. She told me that I would need to find another place for the animal to stay. I went outside and told my granddaughter what was said and my granddaughter became hysterical. Thankfully, her dog was there to calm her down. I called the office and spoke to the front desk, clerk again and told her that the dog was in fact, a service dog and should not be denied access to the property. I also told her that my granddaughter became hysterical when I told her the dog couldn’t stay. The woman then stated that she would alert everybody that the dog is a service dog, but never once apologized for denying the dog in the first place or for causing my granddaughter to have a breakdown.

Then, at about 1:30 in the morning, my phone rings. I woke up from the phone ringing, but did not answer it because I didn’t want to wake my granddaughter or my husband up so I let it go to voicemail. Next, comes a text stating that a dog was found and they wanted to know if it was my dog. It’s a trained service dog, so why would they call me or text me in the middle of the night to ask me if that dog belonged to me?

The place was equivalent to a Days Inn. A motel, not a resort or a hotel. It was also dirty and smelled musty. I checked out after 1 day

No TV service available, air conditioner was on full speed 60 degree room and the door rattled from it , turned it down and then did not work. Walls thin we could hear people yelling and swearing outside. Stayed before flying out in the morning did not get much sleep.

The cutest little motel I’ve ever stayed at! The property was clean and very well kept. Salt water pool and beautiful lounging area. Very close to the airport,but not so much you could hear it all day. The bar was awesome with live music on the weekends. Well appointed rooms with brand new fridge and microwave. Very stylish mid century decor.

GHR absolutely does the best possible for an airport, along a somewhat busy road, motel. The setup tries, and generally succeeds, in isolating the property from the road -- fully wooden-fenced in, sound walls, creates a tropical atmosphere, tiki bar and decor, relaxing pool and lounge chairs. The tiki bar had music on Fri-Sat and a nice atmosphere. The pool was quiet and well-maintained with plenty of chairs/lounge chairs. Everyone was more than friendly and helpful. The room was adequate and clean. All pretty much exactly as the pictures show. Bottom line -- not a resort, but a very well-run motel with a few nice \"extras\" to upgrade your stay. Would definitely stay there again.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice my motel experience was. The front desk gentleman was very kind and helpful. He made me feel like a queen.
I was on the 2nd floor. When we had a rain downpour the noise was quite loud from the ceiling so if you are a light sleeper that could bother you.

We had a late flight in and the front desk staff member was accommodating and kind. The room was clean and nice on arrival however it was not swept during our stay until we asked due to sandy floors. The beds were comfortable with back sliding door to a patio. I enjoyed our stay.

The hotel canceled my reservation, I was sent a message on what’s app to check in so I did just that. When arriving onsite I was told that I was supposed to be there by 10pm to physically check in so they canceled my reservation. So at 1am I had to look for another hotel, on top of that they wouldn’t refund me the first day even though they gave avay my room.

The room had a smell to it. The lighting was horrible. One of the outlets was not working so I had to plug my curler somewhere else. There was only two towels to dry ourselves. The AC did not work thank God I had my own fan and for the price that I paid for it was definitely not worth it. I do not recommend anyone staying there.

Room was clean except for the trim it was very dirty. Bathroom was extremely small and the shower made a noise when water was on. They did not make the bed only emptied the garbage and brought new towels in. Lobby and pool were very nice. I thought rooms would be updated like the lobby and since the website said they were remodeled in 2022. They had no TV listings and told me to look up Comcast in Sarasota for channels. They really only had maybe 6 channels. For a cheaper stay it wasn’t bad because we weren’t in the room a lot but I would not stay again.
