The rooms are clean and well organized with a comfortable bed. They are also very small rooms with just the basics. We upgraded to a balcony room which definitely needs some maintenance. A large space that is not well maintained with uncomfortable furniture. For the price of the balcony I expected something more special!
Breakfast. pool. and hot tub are nice but nothing outstanding.

Stayed here for several days, the room had a weird smell to it but could not determine the cause of the smell, when mentioned to staff was told it was the cleaning products. Pillows are lumpy so suggest bringing your own. Overall the experience was decent . The hotel has a restaurant and bar in the lobby that I would recommend visiting . The area in witch the hotel was located was clean and felt safe. With consideration of the smell I would give it another shot in the future.

Much better than I expected. I read the reviews and saw the pictures and I was expecting it to be pretty much average as a hotel can be. It was very unique with its own vibe. My only complaint would be the water closet design. Toilet and shower are separated by a wall, but share a single sliding glass door. While taking a duce, I felt like I was on a cruise ship.

This was a very nice hotel, the staff was exceptional. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is there is no coffee maker in the rooms. I had never stayed at a hotel that didn’t have coffee in my room. I went down to the lobby and had to pay $3.11 for a tiny cup of coffee.

The boutique hotel concept with the bathroom sink in the bedroom, barn doors that didn’t close properly for the toilet cubby hole and separate shower, were not comfortable. The sink was small and water splattered on to the floor. Poor quality construction of the barn door and low quality materials used. Water from the shower also leaked outside. No night table for one side of the bed. Lack of privacy in the room overall. Staff was not helpful either. On the positive side, it had good expreso coffee for purchase in the morning.

Kompose hotel was very nice. Rooms are basic but comfortable with everything you need. No drawers or closets but plenty of shelves. Bed was very comfortable. We did not use the pool. We did have breakfast 2 mornings and it was fine. I did like they offered plenty of cereals. While most hotels only have 2 or 3, Kompose had about 10. While the hotel was quite full, it was quiet. Also right next to the airport and this was not an issue. No late night flights, a few start in the morning around 7:45 but we never head more than 2 or 3. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We had a great stay at Kompose Boutique Hotel in Sarasota. Everything was clean, modern and very well organized. The staff was friendly and helpful during our entire stay.

The breakfast was very good and nicely prepared every morning. It was a great way to start the day before going out.

The location is also very convenient – it’s a short drive to the beaches and many restaurants nearby.

Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back again. Thank you for the great hospitality!

I loved my stay here and will definitely book again in the future. Everything was truly great. It is a very nice and clean hotel with great amenities.

The only recommendations for minor improvements would be that the shower does leak out. The bathmat/towel provided was soaked each time. It would also be helpful to have some type of shelving in the shower and or ledge as there's nowhere to put shower products other than the floor, and one soap dish.

Hotel is next to the airport, but the airport noise is not loud in the building. The hotel charges $5/day to park, which seems like nickel and diming customers. Breakfast is not typically included with a room booked. Room service is only on request 24 hours in advance. They also make you read a long customer agreement online prior to checking in. I've never had to do that at a hotel before.

The hotel did have a good assortment of snacks and drinks for a fee.

My room was fine, but had a couple of issues.
1. The toilet rocked when using it. It was not shimmed to the floor.
2. The shower controls was missing a small lever that controlled the water temperature.
3. The AC sounded like a lawn mower starting up when the compressor kicked on.

Breakfast was standard hotel items - eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes. Bread, bagels, and cereal available. Cappuccino and latte were available for a charge.

The decor of the hotel is urban chic. There are Instagram worthy spots around the hotel and pool area.

There is not a beach view. Check in staff a little rude and dismissive. Room was clean but hallways smell like mildew. When I booked it said free parking and free breakfast - however parking is $5 per night and breakfast $7 per person

I found this hotel to be just right for what I needed and it has a fun, boutique vibe! The room was perfect and housekeeping à la carte on request is a great idea to keep costs down. I stayed 3 nights, spending my days exploring and seeing friends. I slept well in a very comfy bed in a very quiet room (even though it is near the airport) and had a complimentary breakfast every morning! I was able to have a glass of wine at the bar before 10pm or buy a gourmet
ice cream bar at the convenient marketplace to take to my room.

My boyfriend and I had a short stay. Jeanna was super sweet during check in. The decor is really cute and peppy! The property is clean. Our King room smelt really nice and fresh. AC blew cold, everything was very clean. The towels were plush. The bed to our surprise was very comfy. We did use our own pillows; I can't comment on the comfort of the hotel pillows. TV worked great, signed right into our apps and the hotel did have channels available. Occasionally we heard a plane, the hotel is near the airport one should not expect to not hear one. You will hear the occasional door close, not by fault of the staff. It's a guest not being mindful or the door just getting away from you when coming and going. We did have a room with a balcony which was really nice to have, we like to have coffee in am in the fresh air. There was no coffee maker, we did bring our own. The bathroom, the toilet and shower set up was different. they are separate and private but still a little challenging with the glass sliding door. Cool idea though. We got thru it with no issue as there were only 2 of us. We did not eat at the hotel, i can't comment on the breakfast or restaurant. However, people did look comfortable and happy at the bar/lounge. We would stay at this hotel again. Thank you to Jeanna and all the other friendly staff that made our stay pleasant and stress free.

Overall, we found the hotel to be cute. The staff was very welcoming. The beds were very comfortable.

The decor was contemporary and funky unfortunately, they have one sliding door that either doubles as the shower door or the bathroom door so you can’t use both at the same time and have privacy in both rooms. Also, the way the mirror is positioned you can actually see someone showering from the master bedroom. There’s also the vanity sink is in the master bedroom itself so if someone is sleeping and someone else wants to use the vanity they cannot do it without disturbing the other guest.

There were exposed outlets with no outlet plates on our balcony and wires exposed hanging out of the ceiling, which can’t be safe and certainly is unsightly.

The breakfast buffet was all junk food- like waffles, cereal, bagels. There was no fruit so if you’re hoping for healthy breakfast options, it’s not the best.

Overall, I feel like it was good value for the price, but they definitely need to do a little cleanup and attention to detail. I would still definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. I just hope they read this review and make those adjustments.

The rooms were fine, clean. No comfortable place to sit other than the bed and no drawers to hide my clothing.

The buffet breakfast was very good and the coffee was great.

The bathrooms are very weird setup, that don’t close completely and privacy is an issue. The breakfast was excellent but the pool/hot tub closes at 9 instead of 10 so I never go to use it.

Clean. Very close to Sarasota airport, activities, and dinning. Very quiet even though it was close to the airport there was no noise pollution. Staff is available and knowledgeable. There was some miscommunication about when we wanted our room cleaned, but a quick stop to the desk took care of the issues. Restaurant onsite and many options for breakfast. They have a cash only mini convenient store onsite where you can purchase small toiletries, snacks, and drinks. Less than 20 min from the IMG Academy. I would recommend and stay at this place again.

Booked suite bit was given regular room .... then a day later had to move to another suite due to 2 different plumbing issues that they couldn't fix - but process was delayed for 3 hours .... they wanted us to clean the foul mess ..... then they offered a free night but we would have to pay for 2 nights to receive that

Plus: They have a swimming pool, jacuzzi and option of massage.
Minus: The room is inconvenient for more than 1-2 nights: no any seating place like table and chair of dedicated site in the room, no closed shelved for cloth. Breakfast is very limited and consist of less than 10 items. Additional pay for dog is 50$ per night, but there is no place to walk a dog.
Would not recommend friends to stay in this hotel.

Photos did not represent the hotel. Pool is basically in a parking.lot. we ordered 2 glasses of Rose wine and wete charged $23 per glass and waitress said \" its not on menu but i told them to update the prices.\" Not a \"boutique\" hotel. Beware.

I loved our stay at Kompose! It reminded me of a Parisian boutique hotel with a little extra flair. Fun decor, lively lobby with restaurant, bar, and lounge area. The room was such a refreshing change from the boring $200/night hotel we typically have to choose from. Price was super competitive. It's a la carte option didn't impact our stay as we didn't use the pool or gym. We also walked to airport (7 min walk).
