Oh my! This is not my first trip to Tokyo, but these rooms were shockingly tiny. They were just too small... But worse, the property did not disclose that it was necessary to step into a very high soaking tub and step up into the bathroom area. One of our guests was not the most able-bodied and he couldn't even bathe the entire time we were there.
Disclosure for something like this would be in order.
Good location to the convention center.

For a 3-star hotel, I was impressed with how much they accomodate customers. There's easy transportation by bus to and from Haneda Airport and Narita Airport as well as to the nearest train and bus station, Kaihinmakuhari (only in the mornings). I liked walking to different places, and the Makuhari Messe was just a few minutes walk away. Some staff struggled with English requests (good thing I still remembered Japanese), but all the staff were kind and held excellent customer service. Customers could take a bath, go to a spa, do their laundry (detergent included!), or grab items from the in-hotel convenience stores.

The only things I missed were an in-hotel gym and the cleanliness and dated items of the rooms. I noticed accumulated dust and dirt in the most random places--behind the lampshades, between the wooden parts of the hanger pins, on the textured white walls. Part of me wanted to clean them. The air purifier was pretty old, and I saw why they were in each room.

For a 3-star hotel connected to Makuhari Messe, I was pretty happy with my stay.

room condition is okay. we had to ask for a fan as AC , which is centralized, is off for the season (stayed beginning of November). Other than that, we did not really see staff throughout the stay. This location is also a far walk to the station and there are not much to eat at around the area

Proximate to the Convention Center.
I compared the customer service by personnel of the Tokyo Bay property vs the Yokohama Bay property and found the front desk and concierge of Tokyo Bay were abit more customer service oriented and friendlier where in need of a taxi at the Yokohama Bay one of the girls instead of walking me to where I need to go to get help seemed a bit dismissal and said to go to counter. I find many other staff would walk the foreigner not knowing Japanese language to the desk or area especially I explained I needed to make a scheduled bus. She did not go beyond to extend the customer service tThis negative experience influenced my perspecive of the Yokohama Bay property. Other than that Yokohama Bay was fine but rooms very small and the Tokyo Bay was good because staff was very friendly and more helpful but rooms a little small too.

Our room was really tiny. The pool was closed because they said summer was over, even though it was still summer on the calendar (early September) and it was 95 degrees and humid outside. I chose the hotel because of the pool so this was very disappointing. And there was no gym, so no way to get any kind of work out.

Overall good stay. The best thing was the room was very clean. The soundproofing could use some work. I stayed in the west wing 8th floor and heard everything. Sirens 🚨 outside and noise from the hallway. This is a massive APA hotel. The front desk was a bit chaotic. Check out at 10:00am is a bit early for such a hotel. 11:00am would be more fair. The pool and stuff is not included. You have to buy those privileges separately from your nightly stay.

The beds were extremely comfortable and the AC was so nice after a long day outside. However, make sure you pay attention to if the pool is opened or closed. I only booked this hotel for the pool and didn’t see that the pool is closed until July. Also, I tried asking the front desk for a bottle opener but they wanted me to download an app just to ask for one, which was pretty inconvenient.

Small rooms. Wont bring you towels you have to go get them yourself in lobby. Very small bathroom. Pool is closed. No microwave in room. 1.5 hours away from Tokyo station (very far away from everything). They won’t allow food delivery to your room and you have to go to the lobby to get it. Elevator can take 10 min to get because it is so busy. Rooms are not cleaned daily. Unfortunately staff are not very friendly. and you have to request garbage bags.

If you are attending a convention at the Makuhari Messe or going to a baseball game, it is very convenient. It is rather far from the most popular areas of Tokyo, about an hour by public transit.

This hotel was across the street from the Makuhari Messe Convention Center, with a convenient sky bridge. There were 2 Lawson's convenient stores, on the 1st and 2nd floors offering much needed food and late night drink options. There is even a bus stop in front to the airport, much more affordable than a taxi. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the bathroom was a good size for Westerners.

The staff was great & handled the check in for a large convention well. I was there for 4 nights and got new towels each day and a full cleaning on the 3rd day. However, the rooms are in a dire need of a rehab. The couch in my room was ripped and stained. I would suggest changing from a tub/shower combo to just a shower. The water from the shower head would hit the shelf at the back of the tub and puddle on the floor.

The first night we stayed here they gave us the wrong room from what we ordered, showed them the reservation in hand and they didn’t care, and made anti foreigner comments In Japanese like we wouldn’t know what they were staying. After getting the ring around until 2am local time we were given the hotel we ordered. The right room its self was clean and comfortable. Area is close to a lot of food and things to do and within walking distance to a train station. Won’t stay here again but the area I would.

The staff are extremely kind, helpful and friendly. The luggage holding service was nice so we continued activities after checkout and prior to leaving Chiba. Convenience to convention center was perfect. The many restaurants on property are small and the food was adequate. Eat elsewhere. The bathroom in our room was elevated; you had to step up and into the bathroom. This was not good, as we felt it necessary to sleep with that light on so as not to trip and fall out of the bathroom at night.

The building looks cool outside and theres a bus available at 6am that goes to Narita. Skybar is really good. They have a transparent elevator.

This hotel is beautiful and MASSIVE!! We stayed here for 6 nights and had a great experience! They offer a super convenient shuttle service to the train station at no cost. The limousine bus to and from Narita and Haneda airport are paid service for affordable. (But the bus schedule ends early, around 6pm I believe, so we didn’t have the opportunity to ride from the airport since our flight arrived later.)

The staff were helpful, and always ready with a smile. This property was across the beach, so our kiddos loved that.

The only downside was that, the hotel location is quite far from all the attractions we did. Disney, TeamLap, Kidzania, Sakura district, Tokyo tower etc. (They’re all over 1.5 by train) But we were able to still move around because the train station from the hotel is walkable! If you’re looking for a more quiet stay, and don’t mind hopping from one train to another then this will be the right place for you!

This was my first time in the Chiba prefecture and the price for the room was good in my humble opinion. The area was convenient for walking to the mall, and other necessary things if needed. Was planning on going to the beach but I didn’t have enough time. I took a bus limousine and it is a first come first serve from the airport and back. The staff helped and replied effectively given the language barrier and made everything smooth. I also took advantage of the breakfast buffet dining but couldn’t use the other facilities as I was only there for a day. Looking forward to my next stay when I’m in the area again. Thank you.

Best part of the hotel is the location. Right next to Makuhari Messe, and within a 10 minute walk from the train station. There are many restaurants around as well. Extremely convenient if you're here for an event.

But the rooms are not that great. I booked a double and it was really small. There was no where to open your luggage without completely blocking the entrance or access to the bed. The lights, faucet, shower were all confusing and unintuitive for some reason. I also don't think the rooms was cleaned that well.

The amenities like the public baths were crowded every time I went, so I never tried. But I appreciated the convenience store, currency exchange booth, luggage scale, other small amenities, etc.

Overall, 3/5. Worth booking if you have an event at Makuhari Messe and are looking for somewhere convienient to stay, but otherwise, ehh - it's okay.

There are many nice restaurants in the hotel. The views from the upper floors are amazing. The train station is a short 8-15 min walk. It's about a 40-50 min train ride to downtown Tokyo by train. Staff were all very nice. The lobby was beautiful. There are several convenience stores and a drug store in the hotel. McDonald's is about a 15 min walk- close to the train station. Our room was very small. There were no dressers or even a place to put our suitcases. We placed them on the narrow desk and propped them open against the window. It worked for two travelers, but wasn't ideal. There is a small rack next to the door that held 4 hangers and another rack with 4 hooks. The bathroom floor is a step up from the room floor. The bathroom was dated. Overall a very nice experience.

The property was close to the JR train line so it made for easy transit to Disneyland. They even had a free shuttle to the train station in the early morning. Also there were paid limousine bus transfers to Hanada and Narita airports.

Rooms in the shorter tower need updating. Our window didn't seal so there was a draft and noise from outside all night. Lobby and hotel facilities are beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. Checkout time is 10:00 am. There is no ability to control the heat or A/C within the room itself.
