We stayed at Chateau de la Verie for two nights. What a fabulous authentically french hotel. The rooms were spacious, airy, comfortable and immaculatly clean. The owners were very welcoming and organised a restaurant for us to eat at, which was also excellent, just what we needed after a long journey. The breakfast was wonderful, choice of fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses, served in an immaculate dining room. A tranquil and beautiful setting, and perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Thank you we would love to visitxagain.

Lovely chateau, just the right number of rooms/guests to enable good distancing, and protection against COVID-19. Staff very helpful and knowledgable of local area. Limited cooked options for breakfast.

This hotel is magical, if you want to relax and unwind then this is the place for you. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, the bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. We ate in the hotel’s restaurant and it was superb, all our food was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. We spent an afternoon lazing by the pool then had a game of tennis, we had forgotten our tennis gear and the owner kindly lent us some which was a lovely gesture. The Chateau is situated in beautifully maintained grounds which are grazed by a small flock of sheep that you can watch whilst seated on the terrace. I can honestly say that this is a truly wonderful place to stay and for once I managed to relax which for me is very rare, this is because the owners cater for anything you want, nothing is too much trouble. 5 stars for everything! We will be back, thank you for a truly memorable stay.

We had an amazing overnight stay at the Chateau. On arrival we were stunned with the Chateau itself and the surrounding grounds. The owners and staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was lovely. The meal in the restaurant in the evening was really good, and service exceptional.

We stayed 5 nights and were disappointed with the hotel. The amenities are poor and meals very expensive. No drinks or food available on Sundays after breakfast. There was no bar. Our room was in need of refurbishment.

The setting so calm and beautiful and the Chateau lovely. .Dinner was a special experience - the 7 course menu was awesome. The room was very comfortable and as nice as the rest of the hotel. The approach to the chateau is wonderful. You drive through the grounds & don't see the chateau until the last minute. Very imposing, but small enough to be comfortable. The staff everywhere are delightful & the food is absolutely delicious. We will definitely be going back.

Le château est très bien entretenu. Nous avons apprécié le calme et le silence du lieu, c'est reposant. Le lit était tellement confortable que nous avons dormi comme des loirs et que nous avons eu du mal à en sortir. Le matin, au réveil, nous avons eu le plaisir de voir des cervidés dans le parc du château ouvert à la nature. Le petit-déjeuner était très généreux. L'accueil et le départ se sont très bien passé et donnent envie revenir dans ce lieu. Merci

Eine angenehme Abwechslung von den heute üblichen \"I*EA\"-Hotels. Bereits die Zufahrt zeigt, daß einen hier \"etwas anderes\" erwartet: Zum Anwesen führt eine kleine Allee, vorbei an Pferd, Schafen und Jaguar... :-) Kein Zuckerbäckerschloß, sondern ein \"richtiges Chateau\", mit dekorativen (Eßsäle) und modernen (Pool) Elementen. Achtung: Kein Lift!

Un endroit MAGNIFIQUE avec un superbe accueil...Du personnel attentionné et des cuisiniers et pâtissier fort sympathiques.
Non ce n'est pas un 3 étoiles mais un 4 étoiles ! Quand à la cuisine du restaurant c'est du haut niveau, avec des assiettes de très bonne composition avec des mets de choix...Je suis resté en extase devant la tarte au citron déstructurée !

Une nuit passée dans ce château bien entretenu et qui a su mélanger passé et présent. Accueil sympathique, chambre très grande et confortable avec mobilier d'époque. Endroit très calme et plaisant avec un grand parc pour se détendre (+ piscine en saison). Grand parking et bon réseau wifi et petit-déjeuner correct mais à 15 €. Le restaurant n'est pas ouvert tous les jours. Endroit idéal pour une escapade touristique ou pour une soirée étape pro.

Très bonne table, mais chambre un peu décevante...
Soirée professionnelle. WiFi fonctionne bien. Très bon accueil. Beaucoup de cachet. Cependant, le confort de la chambre m'a semblé en retrait à ce que je m'attendais et à ce que je trouve ailleurs. Pas de climatisation. Salle de bains spacieuse, mais sans plus. Pas de barre de douche ou de pare-douche. Pour un 3 étoiles, je trouve ça moyen. Excellente table de restaurant. Donc je dirais 5/5 pour la table, et 3,5/5 pour la chambre.
