A good value and convenient stopover

Very handy and good value spot for a stopover on the way to or from Calais. Loads of great restaurants next door and many offer 10% discount if you show your room key card. A good free breakfast is included 6-10AM and nice enough (if a little dated) rooms for one night many with a bath. I had a big suite which was very spacious. Nice and warm in the room and very comfy beds and bedding. They look to be installing several fast EV charging points in the car park too which is great.

Met our needs for a decent overnight stop

Good basic stay on a drive down to the East of France from Calais. The rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. It was quiet and we slept well. Nice to have a bath in the end suite bathroom (but no bath towels!) The decoration was pleasant but the views of the bins and the wall of the next door building made the room feel quite functional. Breakfast (included in the room rate) was excellent. Service at check in and at the bar was polite but staff seemed very slow/confused and a large queue built up at check-in. There are large decorative wall panels over the heads of the beds which made it uncomfortable to sit up in bed without worrying about hitting your head.

Stayed there a week ago on our way to Spain & my husband booked through Accor. Room was a good size for us and our dog and was clean and bright. Rebooked last night as decided to stop over on our way home. Booked a room with two singles and received a tiny double room on ground floor which smelt dusty and smelt. The carpet was full of stains. AC doesn’t exist and room very hot. Woken at about 2am by light and noise as staff in bowling alley next door opening double doors which lead to their kitchen/store room opposite our room window . Nightmare experience with no sleep.Very disappointed

Five mins off the motorway, several places to eat within walking distance or 10 mins drive into Bethune - try to O Grand Buffet for a great value, good quality feast. Also great buffet breakfast at hotel.

I give this hotel 5 stars. It's not a 5-star hotel in the official hotel rating system. Not really. But it's a great place to stay on your way to somewhere else.
I enjoyed it and I will be back.
Everything was there to make your stay comfortable. The check-in was easy and quick. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean, functional, with enough space not to feel crowded.
The breakfast was nice (continental).
It's kid-friendly.
Plenty of food options a short walk away.
A lovely place overall.

Good location on a shopping park with lots of restaurants open until late.
Secure gated parking.
Only negative was nobody looked after the breakfast area so as food ran out we had to ask the receptionist to top up all the dishes.

Air con deliberately decommisioned

Used this hotel several times as a one night stop over.

This time however, we arrived to find the air conditioning not working. Having quized the staff as to why we were expected to sleep in a room with no air con at over 30 degrees C we discovered that the system had not been working for a whole month. The truth is of course that the system had been switched off at the expense the comfort of the guests and to improve the coffers of the Accor Group. Outrageous

Worst Ibis stay encountered

On arrival we were allocated a twin room but a double was booked. We were moved immediately. The double room did not have working Air con. The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. Breakfast was a joke!!! Only cereal was coco pops, other than children who likes these? Had to order bread roll or Croissant evening before, not knowing what was for breakfast. Only cheese and yoghurt, plus jam. Orange juice was nice plus tea and coffee.

We have stayed at this hotel several times before as it is convenient for the motorway and there is a good selection of places to eat. My husband also likes the hotel because the bar is open and after a long journey he appreciates a beer. However, I find the bar area extremely uncomfortable and in need of a make over. The room could also do with a refurbishment but is quite adequate for one night. Usually the room and the ensuite are clean but this time I was disappointed to find the ceiling mouldy and also mould on the floor of the shower. The price of the hotel includes breakfast and has a adequate selection.

Compared with the Standard Ibis at Chartres, this Ibis Styles did not live up to expectation. The first room allocate smelt of drains but a room change overcame this.
The room was limited in size compared to Chartres despite the change per night being over €20 more. The breakfast inclusive was below the Chartres standard. Overall this was a disappointing experience.

Good chain hotel for an overnighter on the way down France. Bed comfortable, shower good, loads of (continental)choice at breakfast, easy to find from autoroute. Bathroom ventilation maybe not the best, a touch of mildew here & there (come on chaps, a quick squirt of mould killer and I wouldn't have a thing to criticise!) but otherwise very clean amd I'd definitely use it again when the price is right.

A convenient hotel

This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel although we have stayed at other hotels in the chain. The hotel was ideally situated just off the motorway and was easy to find. The room was small but adequate and importantly nice and clean. Strangely, the plug to the basin was missing, this is the 2nd hotel this trip to have a missing plug. There is a large choice of restaurants very close to the hotel. We went to the Italian and had a very pleasant meal. The hotel deal included breakfast and it was very good with freshly squeezed orange juice and a reasonable choice of food. Please note it is a continental breakfast not a full English. The receptionist was helful and my husband was very pleased to find the bar open. We will use this hotel again.

Perfectly adequate room for a two night stay, although the shower holder on the bar was so loose that it just fell to the bottom of the bar, meaning that to shower we had to hold the shower head above our heads. I found the bed somewhat soft, resulting in the necessity to take Ibuprofen to ease my backache each morning. Breakfast on the first morning was very good, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals, cheese, pain au chocolat amongst other pastries, and several different kinds of bread. However, on the second morning the cereals were still in evidence along with the yoghurt, but there was a distinct lack of fruit, although this was remedied when we mentioned it, little in the way of cheese, but the only bread left was about a third of a baguette - no more was forthcoming - and a couple of tired looking pastries. Disappointing for us, and I'm not sure what anyone coming down for breakfast after us would have eaten. The area is fairly industrial, but with a 12 screen cinema and a large bowling alley on the complex, there is a wide range of restaurants in very close proximity to the hotel. We would really recommend the Italian restaurant where we had a superb meal at a reasonable price in very nice surroundings. All in all I would say that the hotel offers good value for money, the staff were very helpful and, although there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, the 24 hour tea and coffee available in reception was very good.

This was just an overnight stay before catching Le Shuttle home and it suited that purpose just fine. Staff were lovely. Hotel and room were great, except that the extractor fan in our room didn't work, but we were probably just unlucky. I have no doubt the staff would have happily moved us if we had mentioned it, but we were too tired to move!

Looked for a lower cost hotel close / central to World War I sites. This place fit the bill. For a Canadian, this hotel is between the Vimy Memorial and Ypres / Paschendaele. The location is also close to great restaurants (I personally loved eating at the micro brewery / restaurant two doors down - great food at great prices. Oh, and REALLY good beer) and even shopping. The hitless staff always had smiles and were willing to help with questions. Comfortable, clean and safe - who needs more from a discount hotel chain? Loved this place.

Ibis Styles hotels have carpeted bedrooms as opposed to hardwood flooring in regular ibis. Carpet them all please ibis!

We stayed here on our way from Lyon to Liverpool. In all honesty we booked it because it was cheap and convenient, what we didn't expect was for it to be so nice, comfortable and well located.
The hotel is actually on a retail park which for a romantic break would be awful but was great for us.
The hotel has huge beds, included breakfast and has secure parking. In the evening we had a choice of a dozen restaurants and even bowling and a cinema.
I would definitely recommend this hotel

Found Hotel to be clean, comfortable and staff pleasant and helpful. The bed in particular had a very comfortable mattress and pillows good. Breakfast was well presented with ample and nice choice. Parking good and secure. Our only complaint, there was not sufficient hot water to run a bath, but ok for a shower, strangely going cold, but if left for a few minutes it would be really hot again. Such a shame as this has dropped my overall mark.

Fantastic service

A quirky hotel designed with children and young families in mind. It was virtually empty the night we stayed and the other guests, like us, late middle age looked out of place in the breakfast room decor. Couldn't fault the hotel or the staff. They upgraded our room when they couldn't be certain that a bedroom had two beds. The breakfast was a good continental breakfast it is in a shopping centre and next to a bowling alley which you could hear. Windows open in the rooms.

Saturday night at this Ibis style

Arrived here early evening, it's just a couple of miles off the junction of the motorway and in a very busy social part of the area with lots of restaurants and a cinema and a bowling alley. We asked reception for a recommendation of where to eat and were given a discount voucher for the steakhouse nearby. Unfortunately it was saturday and everywhere was packed. We managed to get a meal in the bowling alley right next door but it would be best for anyone staying here at the weekend to google and pre book!!! or go hungry. The ibis is very good value for money, very clean and the breakfast buffet although basic did the job. Reception ladies were very pleasant and parking was fine. Would definately use this ibis again it was a perfect stop on the journey from calais down to Paris.

Useful overnight for the Channel ports

Modern rooms in bright colours, free Wifi, free parking and lots of restaurants nearby (plus a hypermarket). But if you want cosiness or character then it's not for you. 10 mins from the Autoroute and in the middle of a retail park, it's quiet enough and pleasant enough for an overnight stop. Lots of eating choices nearby, including a great Chinese buffet. Breakfast was a bit basic but at least there was fruit and yoghurt.
