Not great. Air conditioning didn’t work. It was very hot. The room was not clean and bed very uncomfortable. Had 4 hours sleep and couldn’t take any more. Random people also working past and the smoke box was right outside my room! So our room just stank of cigarettes. Not great with a child!

Overall, we had a good 3 night stay. The room was big enough for our needs, and the bed was supercomfortable. There was a kettle in the room. The only problem for my partner, who loves watching night telly, was the lack of english language channels. Other than that all was good. There's a shopping centre, and few restaurants near the hotel.

Quiet stay but room AC wasn’t working!

It was nice, clean and quiet. However, the air conditioning wasn’t working properly so it was very hot. The room was also facing the sun most of the day so it became even warmer!

Campaniles are always good. The parking is priority for me with a large vehicle and Campaniles always offer plenty of space to park

Good place to stop for a night and visit Vimy

Coming from the Calais ferry It was hard to find with SAT NAV ( really need a full street address for hotels complete with house number - take note Hotels.com! ) but a lovely french man jumped in our car and directed us there! The lady at check in was friendly, the room was small but clean and beds comfortable...bathroom was all redone and modern. Good water pressure, lots of hot water, wifi ok etc. There isn't anything nearby so the hotel restaurant is your only choice unless you want to venture out again after a long day of driving ...we didn't.

Comfortable and vlaue for money

This is one of the better Campaniles we have stayed in. Staff were excellent and welcoming. Rooms clean, warm and not tired like some. This is a great value stop for those on the way elsewhere. As usual, there is an onsite resturant but if is rather isolated and not near any other facilities as such. Good access from motorway and easy to find.

There are major road works in the area so the property was quite difficult to find. The food was OK but not as good as some other campaniles we have stayed at. We were also not allowed a pre dinner drink and as it was a beautiful evening and we wanted to sit outside it seemed a bit of a shame.

Friendly welcome, spotlessly clean room, cracked bathroom sink but everything else was fine! Chef was brilliant, steaks cooked to perfection and the chips/French fries/frites were freshly cooked and absolutely delicious, best we had for ages! Despite being very near the main road, couldn't hear any traffic noise! Great stopover!

Disappointed with Breakfast.

Hotel and evening meal was OK. Campanile hotels are all very similar. OK.
Unfortunately I wasn't told of 9.00am finish time for breakfast. I had pre paid and arrived to eat at 9.15.
No breakfast and no refund. I was offered a coffee though.
The difference between Ireland and France is, a guest would always be given some type food especially after pre paying.

A good, decent place to overnight

We stayed in several Campanile hotels over the course of our trip and this one was fairly typical - the room is adequately large, the beds are clean and comfortable, the bathroom was complete, clean and of a decent size, and the parking was free and secure. While many Campanile h/motels are located in relatively remote parts of town, they all have a restaurant and the food and prices are quite reasonable. The Campanile hotels are a cut above the other big budget chain and are good value without being fancy. The staff at this one went out of their way to be helpful.

A good basic hotel, room was ideal for our circumstances. we had a problem with the door lock, as a result (we think) the room was not cleaned that day. On the edge of an industrial area so was quite noisy at times, however, we had no real concerns about this hotel and would stay there again.

Nice, renovated accommodations.

We stayed here just one night. The building and room that we stayed in had recently been renovated. There was a desk area, bed and closet area and a bathroom with a tub. For the most part everything appeared clean until we showered. Unfortunately the glass door meant to keep the water in the bathtub while showering did not work and I quickly created a huge puddle in the bathroom. We tried to mop this up with one of the white hotel towels which turned completely brown from mopping up the dark tiled floor. This was quite gross and led us to question the cleanliness of the rest of the floors. Other than this however the rest of the room really was clean. There was no dust on the closet shelves, the white sheets and duvet were stain free and crisp and the sink and toilet were obviously clean.

Exceeded initial expectations, even the meals

2 couples stayed 1 night in April to visit the Musée du Louvre-Lens. Hotel is away from town centre so car GPS was handy to find it. One room smelled of smoke, but the younger couple were soon allocated another upstairs - stairs at one end/room at the other end. Rooms were small motel-style but clean & bright, mostly quiet enough for sleep (apart from noise other guests & cars outside). We ate on-site for convenience: the food served at dinner was a pleasant surprise; buffet breakfast had good variety for the price. Overall, a good-value option for a stop-over.

We stayed here en route to Spain, having driven 5 hours to the tunnel this was a good place to stay for our first night, great location off the motorway with easy access back on, the only downside was the dawn chorus at 4:30 in the morning the upside was we were on the road by 5:30 !!

On booking the Hotel advertised wi-fi in the room.This did not work.It could be accessed in the hotel restaurant but it did not work in the room.A very poor excuse was given- not convincing.If there is no wi-fi then it would be better to have some international TV stations available 2) Given the night was the 31st Januray- on booking I needed warning that the restaurant would be closed. Otherwise it was well placed, clean and good value

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. It is a basic hotel with bed, shower, tv and that's about it. It is in the middle of a business park so there is not much around here. We did find a decent supermarket and a Micky D's in the same area but it's really not within walking distance. Would stay here again if I found myself in B.F.E. France

Handy for a short stop-over in Lens

Much improved on other Campanile Hotels. Room was very comfy and spacious. Evening meal was superb. Room had a TV with the basic channels, and tea/coffee facilities. On the No 3 bus route to Lens. Took about 30-40 minutes to walk. Bus fare was only 1Euro 10 and ran every 20 minutes, although only came part way back in the evenings (after 8ish).

The room was on the small side - just enough room to walk round the bed; but it had a state of the art bathroom! Fantasticly powerful shower and a mirror that clears itself of condensation. I was just a bit concerned at the lack of a grab rail though - felt a little unsafe in the shower. I didn't like the fact there were no cups for coffee, just paper cups and a wooden stick to stir with! The bed was very comfortable, so we had a good night's sleep.The hotel is a half hour walk from the town centre of Lens (going to the left on leaving the hotel), but there is a retail park a short walk away to the right.

We stayed here three nights as our base during the Main Square Festival. The overall experience wasn't awful, but there were a few too many niggles to make it enjoyable. We were given a disabled-access room, which we did not require, however this meant we only had a half-length bath, which we couldn't use due to being quite tall! It also meant we were right in the middle of the accesses to all other rooms, so the room was noisy at night as people returned to the hotel.
The housekeeping wasn't quite to standard either, we returned one day to unchanged towels, unemptied bins and no supplies for the hospitality tray. I'd also add to this that since the rooms open straight onto the outside and the weather was very wet and muddy, some degree of sweeping wouldn't have hurt.
We also noted a few defects like loose plug sockets, a rattly air con unit, etc. All in all, just about adequate for the money but room for improvement.
On the plus side, the room and bathroom were spacious, and the staff helpful, although with limited English, and there was ample free parking, which makes it a great base for a driving holiday around the area.
We did not use the restaurant at all.

Malheureusement, les systèmes de chauffage/ ventilation ne sont pas bons. Les chambres restent humides dès lors qu'on utilise un peu la salle de bain, la ventilation/chauffage ne marche pas bien. On alterne entre trop chaud ou trop froid/ humide. Accueil très variable selon le personnel (certains très sympa d'autres moins). Petit dejeuner fort appréciable (variété et qualité), restaurant en surgelé déclaré (ca fait le job)

Quand ln ferme la porte de la chambre le mir bouge, 2 cm de jour entre la porte et le bati, on sais quand il fait jour. Les gens fumes sur le parking et nous sentons lodeur dans la chambre, pas de lumiere dans la salle de bain.

La qualité de l'accueils et du service pas top, il a tout de même fallu que je retourne 5 fois pour un problème de carte qui n'ouvrais pas la chambre. Une première fois la personne de l'accueils c'est déplacé avec son ordi au bout de 2 fois. le soir après le repas 3 fois je suis descendu à l'accueils, au final ouverture de la chambre avec une clé (très difficile à ouvrir) Bref, le repas du soir lamentable, un seul choix entrée, plat, dessert. De plus l'entrée une tartelette à l'oignon + salade verte et en plat lasagne à base de légumes......... de la viande haché aurait été plus judicieux. Qui s'occupe des choix de plat ???? Je me souvient d'avoir fréquenter d'autre Campanile ou les choix culinaire était largement plus fournie et diversifier. Pour le buffet petit déjeuner était mieux.

Placé dans une zone industrielle cet hotel est loin de tout. Bref me cadre va avec la qualité de l’hotel . Tout y est mediocre . Du service, aux chambres vétustes, serviettes qui ne sèchent pas , douche ou un filet d’eau coule , tout bouché par le calcaire ….et pour couronner le tout …le petit déjeuner où il manque de tout ! Bref il a été figé dans les années 90….mais depuis les standards de qualité ont évolué !

Catastrophe interphone extérieur défectueux, apel téléphonique sans réponse, attendre une personne qui rentre en même temps, acceuil froid m informe qu'il attendait personne et qu'il allais partir, pas de réservation pour moi, ne peut rien faire malgré mon numéro de réservation confirmé, recherche de paiement sur mon compte bancaire bien débité mais rien à faire pas de réservation possible au bout de 30 minutes la personne à appelé un responsable qui l'a guidé dans les recherche via expédia et non hôtel com qui a fini par trouvé et à rentré des coordonnées sur son ordinateurs. Pauvre gars J aurais pas voulu être à ça place quand tu lui dit ça doit être un bug chez vous.... Les chambre ça été malgré serviette taché et pas du tous de savon et champooin heureusement J avais ce qu'il fallait..... Pour le petit déjeuner c est de pire en pire pour les campaniles 13€ pour du jambon pas chère et de mauvaise qualité ju d'orange ba de game, croissant de grande distribution ba de game pas d œuf....... Enfin J ai connu les campaniles de qualité après plusieurs campanile de fait c est fini j'irai dans les BB hotel meme genre un peut mieux en qualité désolé

Séjour convenable juste pour dormir.
Le service nettoyage est inexistant. Il semble que la femme de ménage était absente. Le ménage n'a pas été dans la chambre c'est à dire que les serviettes de bain n'ont pas été changé, que le lit n'a pas été refait. C'est tout de même un minimum pour une prestation qui est obligatoire et en plus payé.
Par conséquent, le tarif de la chambre est bien trop chère pour la prestation reçue.
Pas conséquent, j'estime avoir un dédommagement.

Le \" restaurant\" que du surgelé, même pas un peu de salade avec des lasagnes tiedes, des portions congrues pour un menu minimum a 19,90 € .
Et le petit déjeuner à 13,90€ n'est rien que du vol !!!
Le personnel essaye de relever le niveau mais c'est tour juste.
La literie est à peine acceptable, et ja'i fait un autre Campanile a Reims qui était bien meilleure

Le plus mauvais Campanile de tous les temps

Accueil très moyen et prise en charge plus que moyen. Peu de monde dans l'établissement et j'avais l'impression de déranger.
Le restaurant catastrophique en terme de qualité et de quantité. Dans les Campanile il y a toujours un buffet entrée/dessert. Là c'était une blague ! 2 tranches de concombre et de saucisson jetés dans une assiette. Jamais je n'ai vu un truc pareil . Un scandale pour le prix.

Mauvaise expérience

Pas de cuisinière le dimanche soir sans que le client en soit prévenu. Tâche jaune sur la couette. Chasse poussive que l'on doit tirer plusieurs fois. Murs tellement fins que l'on est réveillé par les voisins dont on entend toutes les conversations. Dosette de lait déjà ouverte et refermée avec le lait dedans... Distributeur de boissons et autres sans rien d'autre que des boissons et des bonbons, pas un seul biscuit...

Rien a dire sauf le règlement de chambre est encaissé par hôtels.com et j'ai dû régler le montant de la réservation a l'hôtel. J'ai payé 2 fois donc j'attends un remboursement.

Coût exorbitant pour un Campanile. Ok y a match à Lens… mais si encore la qualité était là… accueil attendre 5 minutes que quelqu’un vienne, odeur de canalisation infecte dans la salle de bain, chauffage poussif, petit dej faut pas arriver à 7h45 sinon presque plus rien (plus d’assiettes de serviettes, des tasses sales, 4 croissants secs qui se battent en duel) mais c’est pas grave le personnel discute en cuisine et ne fait pas attention… bref j’éviterai Lens à l’avenir
