Despite the Hotel undergoing refurbishments, everything was as it should be. We stopped here as it is then just a short trip to Calais. We were feeling under the weather and asked if we could have dinner in our room, nothing was too much trouble. The dinner was delicious.
On arrival it was lovely to find a car park with large spaces, so unusual these days.
Breakfast was also very good, top ticks all round.

Parking here was great. Room was a good size but a little sparse. We had a twin room on main floor. Quiet. Stayed there 3 nights with severely limited dining options in the area. Dining in the hotel was extraordinary but very expensive. We skipped the 13.50 euros breakfast because neither of us eat large buffet breakfasts and just needed coffee. Unfortunately no coffee maker or kettle in the room which would have been nice. The area surrounding the hotel appeared to be lacking any restaurants, bistros or coffee shops. If I want to stay in this area next trip, I might shop around first but if I was enroute somewhere for one night I would stay here.

Lovely boutique hotel with lovely staff, easy parking and a top class restaurant. We stayed for on night on route back to the Uk through Eurotunnel which is an hours drive away. Travelled with our dog who was allowed in all areas and had a dog bed in our room. Can’t rate the restaurant and food highly enough, superb.

From arrival to departure our stay was a complete pleasure. The historic building has been extremely well renovated into a quirky boutique hotel.
The food options are an amazing gastronomic experience and for that alone I hope to return.
However, what really makes the place are the staff who are so friendly and helpful. My French is really poor but not once did they make me feel it was not worth trying. I will get better!

I stayed here overnight while riding back from the Somme to Calais. I was able to leave my bike in the room which was great and the restaurant meal in the evening was fab

Also when the cheese platter was served the cheese portions cut were minute. Small details but they took the edge of what is usually an excellent stay.

Lovely hotel that was very convenient for our drive to the Alps. We picked this hotel as it had good reviews and also advertised EV charging. We enjoyed a really nice dinner at the hotel, not much in the surrounding area. Most disappointing though is that the EV chargers wouldn’t work and when we approached the hotel for help they couldn’t really do much as they said it was an external company. Eventually someone tried to help but was getting really late so we had to call it a night.

We used the hotel for an overnight stay traveling to the south of France. It's ideal for this, being an hour or so from Calais.
The room was comfortable, clean and we'll maintained. The rest of the hotel is of a similar high standard.

Perfect stopover to the channel tunnel
This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it’s a superb stop over on the way to or from the channel tunnel. The rooms are lovely, more spacious than a typical chain hotel and there is a great breakfast available for a reasonable price

We stayed here following huge eurotunnel delays in August, and the owners were absolutely amazing in allowing us to keep our booking, and welcome us, very very early morning ( several hours later than our ETA). We were really pleased with our choice - a lovely , peaceful hotel with a friendly welcome . The meal we had in the restaurant was superb , with great service too. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Quiet with weird decor
This is a quiet hotel with good staff. The decor ranges from outlandish to unsettling but the rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant was not exceptional and pricey, but one night we ate down the road at the wonderful, innovative Atelier des Saveurs, also in Noeux-les-Mines, a suggestion of staff. I brought coffee back to the room before breakfast each morning. I was more than a little irritated to be told at the time of check out that I had been billed 3 euros for each cup!

I chose this hotel based on location, reviews and cost. I have to say the hotel is excellent! Their family room is huge and had a king size bed, two single beds, a sitting area, mini-bar, desk and large bathroom with bath and huge shower. Having a noisy two and four year old I was concerned that I had booked too nice a hotel, however the staff were fantastic and the kids had a great time! The room also had a fantastic blackout system, and the kids slept for around an extra hour!
My only other observation was that everyone in the restaurant seemed very dressed up, luckily we had already eaten so this wasn't an issue for us.

We stayed in a room for 5 people and it was one of the most spacious family roomies that we have staye in. The bathroom was very large and there was a separate toilet. We had dinner, which was very good, and the wine, recommended by the waiter was also excellent.

A Wonderful Surprise!
I was looking for a quiet, clean hotel with a good restaurant on the way to the Netherlands from Paris and close to WWI sites. I struck gold! Meticulously clean, generously sized rooms, one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in on this trip. The restaurant offers excellent gourmet food and wine. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Easy and safe parking in the lot. Quiet! The town itself is nothing to write home about, but if you have a car, it's close to many sites and not far from Calais, LIlles, etc. The drive from CDG was only a few hours and quick.

We did encounter a minor problem which was down to the booking. It said one double bed (only) to be provided for our stay, which is difficult as we had our children with us too. We only stayed one night in a wheelchair friendly room, which may explain the Spartan nature, although the bathroom was super. Good meal and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Well placed for the journey to the tunnel next morning.

After a wonderful day exploring this part of France including the Canadian war memorial site at Vimy this was a comfortable and pleasant place to stay for a night. The restaurant at the hotel was wonderful, both for dinner and breakfast the following morning.

Easy to find on the Main Street in the town with free parking onsite. The room was extremely comfortable with premium bedding and pillows plus a superb mattress! The bathroom was well planned with twin basins and toiletries. Open plan hanging area was a good design so you could hang clothes and put them on shelving without worrying about leaving anything behind in drawers. very quiet location but central. Breakfast was a good choice of buffet items, a bit pricey but good quality.

A hidden gem in an old mining town. Perfect base for exploring the battlefields of Arras. Superb restaurant, a warm welcome and spacious rooms. Very impressed. Will use again!

We used this as a base to view the area, it being about 1 hour from the Eurotunnel and connected to a good road system.
Immediately greeted on arrival, our bags carried to the room and a kettle offered and provided in an instant. What struck me was the warmness of the greeting and lack of general ' hauteur ' I have found in other French hotels.
An immaculately clean room, comfy bed, along with free and easy parking . La Maison is sited within grounds that appear ' child friendly & safe ' and the few children there, seemed to have a great time chasing about.
Having read previous reviews I was slightly concerned about the cost of eating ' in ' and was very pleasantly surprised by the final bill - far less than I expected. The chef deserves special praise for the obvious effort and quality of the meals served and the waiters were able to explain in English what some dishes were ( a problem I sometimes have whilst eating abroad ) - so another thumbs up. !
The owner should be proud of all the team working at La Maison, they are doing an exceptionally good job in creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for visitors.
The negatives ? - to be honest, there's not a lot going on in Noeux-les-Mines, so don't expect much and I though the shower a little cold but possibly some sort of temperature restrictor is in place - otherwise I would recommend visiting to anyone wanting to stop off before crossing the Channel or like us, wanting to visit the surrounding area.

a very good hotel, with outstanding cleanliness and very quiet - excellent sound proofing though our room was away from the road. However in trying to be modernist hotel, form overrode function, and the hanger rail and space was useless - stainless steel with nowhere to hang trousers. food very good, but all a bit pricey. Would use again.

Very convenient location close to channel tunnel. town is drab but hotel is very well maintained with a new and sympathetically built wing. Menu looks good in restaurant although we chose not to eat there and take cheaper options elsewhere (decent Chinese in town). Clean and well appointed rooms. Would use without hesitation.

A real gem of a hotel, perfect if you are travelling back to Calais and need an overnight stay or as i was, spending a few days touring the surrounding area.
