I only found out that the hotel's heating system was broken when I was already on my way to the elevator. It wasn't cold, as the weather was nice, but it was chilly at night.

Very convenient hotel for the city. Comfort was as would be expected for a hotel of this style (Ibis) and at this price. A little noise from road traffic. Only issues was the A/C had broken and the shower water was either hot or very hot!

Good Centrally Located Hotel

Good hotel centrally located in Wuppertal, 5 minute from the city centre, also 2 minute walk from Kluse station on the Schweberbahn (worth a ride for the sheer strangeness of it!)

Check in was straight forward. The reception is not manned overnight - I was clumsy and lost my key card when reception was closed. However, a guest managed to resolve my issue by calling the contact centre and get me a temporary card.

Breakfast has a decent range of items, including cheese, meats and pancakes.

Room was a good size with decent air conditioning and the option of opening the window if I so wished.

Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels provided: their policy is for guests to request additional linen rather than replace daily - very eco friendly.

The only thing I could pick up on was a lack of coffee making facilities in the room.

That aside, very satisfied customer here. I stayed 5 nights at around €65/night which feels like great value!

Would stay again.

Functional - good for a night

Efficient check in and check out; self service brekkie was average. Room was out of a container; bathroom was one of those moulded units, but it was functional. As a business traveller I'd not want to stay more than a few nights.

A place to rest

The hotel is close to the city center and in walking distance (approx. 5 minutes) to the train station. The window are sound insulated, and the room was quiet and comfortable. I recommend the optional breakfast. Overall, the hotel offers a top value, a low price for a very good performance.

We booked the hotel for its location in Wuppertal and we were not disappointed. It's very close the city centre (5/10-min walk) and close to Kluse station (2/3-min walk) if you're planning on taking the famous flying train. The hotel itself is basic, with limited amenities, but it's clean and the room was spacious. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

We also made use of the car park (which costs an extra €6 per night). It was a little difficult to access when we first arrived, but we went to reception and the gate was opened. Might be worth phoning ahead if you're planning on using this service.

The hotel was very nice, and it was very close to the Schwebebahn monorail station Kuse! The breakfast buffet at the hotel was excellent and was for €11. The only things we were disappointed with is that the room didn’t have a fridge or a safe.

Been there before and the 1st time it was great. The staff were great and helpful. This time the staff were not very helpful as when I asked about parking, staff said there was parking down the street instead of offering the parking across the road. It's like they didn't care and also with myself having a baby it would of been appreciated if I was told about it instead of asking the staff about it myself! Not very friendly this time around abit of a disappointment.

Surprised as i have stayed in Ibis before and didn't like the rooms. But this one was good size, modern and comfortable. Good bar, friendly staff. WiFi was a bit patchy which wasn't so good for a business trip and you could hear noise from corridor and other rooms.

Good hotel in a bit detached area ...

Hotel itself was good and comfortable to stay. Room was clean. Wi-Fi was fast enogh to conduct regular business. It is a plus that a monorail station is within a walking distance. If you are a watcher of this city's famous monorail system, this hotel would be a nice choice. However, it is located a bit off centre. If you wan to enjoy a bit more vibe, you would want to explore other chocies. I was OK, though.

We went to Wuppertal to visit the historic Schwebebahn hanging railway. We chose the Ibis for its economical pricing and were very pleased to find it just a couple of hundred metres from the nearest Schwebebahn station and close to the city centre. Also had a very nice bar operating in the foyer in the evenings and breakfast!

This hotel is perfect for business accommodation. Clean and simple with a nice breakfast buffet. The nearby railway station area is undergoing extensive renovations until 2017 which, when combined with one-way traffic, makes access to the hotel very difficult from south of the river.

Very convenient location. Walking distance to central shopping area. We did have a complaint about a late rowdy party going on in the room next door to ours but this was very quickly rectified by the staff on duty. Parking safe in underground garage for a small fee.

The hotel was easy to find, and there was lots of parking available surrounding the hotel. There is a small carpark at the hotel which is reasonably priced. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been any friendlier and more helpful. An enjoyable stay.

Das Zimmer war sauber und richtig ok, im Bad nur etwas gründlicher reinigen. Habe sehr gut geschlafen!

Das Frühstück hat mir persönlich ausgereicht, hauptsache ich konnte mir Kaffee und Saft nachholen! Mir fehlte nur Brot zum Frühstück.
Es wäre schön, wenn ihr den Frühstücksbereich mit einem Schild kennzeichnen würdet( vieleicht auch mit den Zeiten), dann ist es für Gäste einfacher zu finden bzw. ersichtlicher oder übersichtlicher! Zwischendurch die Tische reinigen wäre auch toll!
Das Personal war durchweg freundlich!
Ich würde wieder bei Euch buchen, vielen Dank

Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, was grundsätzlich positiv ist. Leider war die Dusche nur mit kaltem Wasser nutzbar – ein großes Manko. Besonders ärgerlich war, dass es über Nacht keine Rezeption oder Ansprechpartner gab, sodass wir das Problem nicht melden konnten. Am Morgen haben sich mehrere Gäste beim Check-out über das kalte Wasser beschwert, es schien also kein Einzelfall zu sein. Schade, denn mit funktionierenden Sanitäranlagen hätte der Aufenthalt deutlich angenehmer sein können.

Leider hatten wir in unserem Zimmer nur kaltes Wasser. Sowohl am Waschbecken als auch in der Dusche. Uns wurde nach dem Bescheid geben zwar ein anderes Zimmer angeboten, aber da wir nur 1 Nacht da waren und auch schon geduscht hatten, war der Umzug nicht von Nöten. Der Herr am Empfang meinte, er würde sich darum kümmern...

Übermittelter Code funktionierte zwar beim Zimmer, aber nicht beim Hoteleingang, so standen wir nach 23 Uhr vor verschlossener Tür und kamen nur ins Hotel, weil ein weiterer Gast raus zum Rauchen ging. Den Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption schien das am nächsten Morgen nicht zu interessieren. Von anderen Gästen hörten wir dies sei wohl schon ein bekanntes Problem. Ist mir unbegreiflich…
Das Frühstück war um 9:00h vielleicht noch zu 1/3 vorhanden. Die Brötchenreste waren alt und hart…
Eines der Betten war dreckig. Die Dusche voller Haare. Der Duschstrahl ein Witz und das Housekeeping hat einen morgens um 8:00h wachgehämmert. Obwohl erst um 11 Uhr ausgecheckt werden musste, klopften sie noch drei weitere Male.
Ganz ehrlich… nie wieder dieses Hotel

In unserem Zimmer war die Elektrik so dermaßen falsch geklemmt, sodass wir erst ermitteln mussten, das der TV,der sowieso nicht programmiert war) Strom hatte, wenn das BadLicht an ist, oder die Steckdose am linken Bett erst Strom m hatte, wenn das Nachttisch licht am rechten Bett an geschaltet ist 😳🙄

İnanılmayacak kadar kötü bir otel, ilk girişimiz alşam saat 21.30 civarı olduğu için bizşmle ilgilenecek kimseyi bulamadık. Odaya girdiğimizde mobilyalar çok güzel, oda çook temiz ve konforlu gözüksede ısıtma çalışmıyordu, bu sorumuza telefonla bizimle iletişim kuran kişi ilgilenmedi bile. Su ihtiyacımız için minibar yoktu, recepsiyondan isteyelim dedik, bu saatte size su verecek kimse otelde yok denildi. Su bulanilmek için toplam 35 dk yürümek zorunda kaldım. Yastık o kadar inceydi ki, karşı taraf görünüyordu, çok kötü kokuyordu.
Bu kadar güzel bir otelin bu denli sorunlarla hzmet vermesi anlaşılmaz...

Leider ist am Tag unserer Ankunft die Heizung ausgefallen. Beim Check In haben wir das bereits gemerkt und nachgefragt und der nette Herr an der Rezeption hat es auch bestätigt und war selbst am Frieren, konnte aber nichts machen. Somit hatten wir eine sehr kalte unangenehme Nacht

Wir konnten vor der Check In Zeit problemlos unser Gepäck abgeben und wurden nachmittags freundlich und schnell eingecheckt.
Das Haus wurde laut Aufsteller am Empfang Ende 2023 von B&B übernommen und wird aktuell umgebaut. Die Lobby und der Frühstücksbereich sind bereits modernisiert und sind einladend.
Unser Zimmer war noch nicht umgebaut und hatte altersbedingt einige Macken, machte dennoch einen gepflegten Eindruck und war sauber. Im Bad wurden bereits Anpassungen vorgenommen, so dass dieses, obwohl es sich um eine Plastik-Kabine handelt, absolut in Ordnung war.
Wir hatten einen Blick auf die Straße, konnten bei geschlossenem Fenster dennoch sehr ruhig schlafen.
Ich würde das Haus für einem kurzen Aufenthalt auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. Wenn die Sanierungsarbeiten abgeschlossen sind, wird der Aufenthalt sicher noch angenehmer.

Die Lage ist fast zentral, zum Bahnhof und Einkaufszentrum kommt man in unter 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Parkplätze und Gastronomie in der direkten Umgebung des Hotels allerdings eine Katastrophe. Man muss also auch ins Zentrum.
Nicht schön ist der Umgang mit Expedia Kunden. \"Da haben wir nichts mit zu tun, wenden Sie sich an Expedia.\" Die Frage nach Parkplätzen wurde erst verneint, auf Nachfrage (weil im Internet beworben), sei alles vergeben, wir sollen auf dem (kostenpflichtigen) öffentlichen Parkplatz am Cinemax parken.
Aber es war sauber, auch die komischen Bad-Zellen, und die Betten und Kissen ganz gut. Gereinigt wird übrigens nicht täglich.

Der Aufenthalt in diesen Hotel kann ich auf gar keinem Fall empfehlen.
Das Personal ist total überfordert, hat kein gutes Erscheinungsbild und ist total Inkompetent(z.B. werden kleine Summen mit dem Taschenrechner ausgerechnet und auf einfach Fragen konnte nur ungenügend geantwortet werden).
Dazu war das Zimmer in einen verschmutzten Zustand wie z.B. Haare an der Badezimmerdecke (Intimbehaarung).
Das Frühstück war sehr dürftig, eine minimale Auswahl, der Kaffee hat nicht geschmeckt(nach Kalk).

Werde hier nicht nochmals buchen, bin maßlos enttäuscht von dem Hotel für das Geld was hier verlangt wird. Eine glatte \"6\"
