I was recently in Florence as part of a longer stay in Italy. This hotel was convenient to the train station. The staff went out of their way to provide a map with marked sites to see and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast at the property was such a great bonus. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would recommend it.

Fabulous Stay! Walk to Duomo in under 5 mins. Near all the busy Piazza’s with many dining options. The staff and service we received was impeccable. Particularly, Francesca welcomed us, gave us a tour of the hotel, and showed us to our rooms. Victoria and Alina at breakfast were very warm and accommodating. The included breakfast had many hot breakfast options and, in addition, also came with a beautiful basket of breads, croissants and jams. There front desk staff was friendly and available to help with anything we needed. Enjoyed the massages too. Would highly recommend!

The location of the hotel was also great, lots of great dining near by and a good base camp for walking the central streets of Florence.

The breakkfast options are great, witha wide-range to choose from, and the new bistro options are delicious. (I highly recommend the gnudi, rich but delightful.) The housekeeping staff are efficient and the hotel has a taxi service they work with for quick service to the train station or airport. This hotel is situated in the heart of Florence, just a few minutes walk from the Duomo. It is convenient to just about everything you want to do in the heart of downtown. The front desk staff is absolutely charming and wonderful from the moment you walk in until the moment you check out. We were really impressed how often they went above and beyond to accommodate us, even packing us to go meals that were ready at our very early in the morning check out. Our room was huge, with a wonderful sitting area, a comfortable, large bed, and a cute little balcony terrace. The bathroom, too, was large and well appointed. Wonderful, soaps, and amenities were provided. Our package included breakfast, which was, absolutely delightful. The bar in the main lobby was never crowded, and the bartenders provided wonderful service, whether it was coffee in the morning or a drink at night.

The front desk staff was extremely helpful and patient with our requests. Breakfast was fantastic with the open seating area in the courtyard being exactly what we needed at those early hours. The gym facility is available and state of the art. When back in Firenze we will surely be staying at the Number 9 and look forward to learning more about the history of city while experiencing the comforts it offers
