Good facility but very much disappointing for the professionalism and service mind of the front desk staffs. The staff ONLY asked us if we want the breakfast without informing us it will be charged even if we miss it.
We couldn’t go the next morning and the front desk guy says we must pay for the breakfast even if we couldn’t come for breakfast because someone bought bread and sausages! We asked to pack them to go ,if so, he didn’t reply anything, not properly looking at us and just doing the computer things. Unbelievable way of treating customer and untrained staffs.

The staff are friendly but they don't all speak english so it can be difficult communicating what you need. The twin room beds are very narrow.
The housekeeper barely touched the room when it was done it was only bins emptied and fresh towels, didn't even remove all used towels!
Radiator is under the window behind the curtains so not great for keeping warm.
The hotel is quiet and set in lovely grounds so if you want to be somewhere busy this is great.
Oh they do have sky tv but it's all in german!

Business trip to Velbert
Excellent quality hotel at a reasonable price for the area. Impressive lobby area and some interesting decor. Unfortunately due to flight delays we missed the opportunity to try the restaurant, but breakfast was great with a good choice of hot food. Service was of a high standard. The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning but the area is very quiet and was able to leave the windows open. Will definitely stay again.

The Best Western Hotel is modern, clean, tidy and quite well appointed. Nice little bar area and restaurant - Staff are friendly and speak good English - rooms are spacious and modern - all in all cant fault the hotel for a short business trip.

It was a working trip and the general temperature was below normal. The room however, could be at times VERY cold. The minimal bedding that they supplied for these temperatures was unfortunately insufficient.

The room was spacious and well lighted. Nespresso cafe in the room was convenient to enjoy the quiet scene outside the window. The only turnoff was the smell of the paint in the room since it is newly renovated.

Keine transparenten Stornogebühren. Bei der Buchung hat man den Anschein man kann kostenlos stornieren . Erst bei der Stornierung wird man darauf aufmerksam gemacht, das es sich um eine kostenpflichtige Stornierung handelt. Weder mit Expedia noch mit dem Hotel war eine Einigung möglich . Ich werde Rechtsmittel einleiten.

Leider war unser Aufenthalt nicht so erfreulich, da man uns beim Check-in nicht informierte, dass durch 2 gebuchte Hochzeitsfeiern im Hotel keine Möglichkeit für Getränke oder Speisen für Hausgäste vorhanden war. Dafür mußten wir extra in die Stadt fahren. Zudem war die Lärmbelastung in der Nacht - bis 3 Uhr- sehr unangenehm. An Schlafen war nicht zu denken. Das ist nicht akzeptabel - darüber MUSS man VOR dem Check-in bzw. bei der Buchung hingewiesen werden. Auch waren wir in unserem Zimmer einer unangenehmen Geruchsbelästigung ausgesetzt (aus den Abflüssen im Bad). SO kann man ein Zimmer nicht vermieten und daß das Personal an der Rezeption darüber vom Housekeeping nicht informiert wurde, ist unprofessionell. Das MUSS auch das Housekeeping gerochen haben.
Also leider alles in allem ein nicht so schöner Aufenthalt, obwohl die Lage des Hotels so viel Positives versprach.

Zimmer war sauber und groß. Jedoch mussten wir nach 2 Tagen das Zimmer wechseln, da im Badezimmer keine Heizung verfügbar und kein warmes/heißes Wasser vorhanden war. Ansonsten war es diesmal ok.

Hotel bello, curato, posizione Super comoda anche per visitare il centro. Inserito in un parco meraviglioso. Camera spaziosa, pulita, letto fantastico. Personale molto gentile. Ciò che ci è piaciuto meno è che Nella nostra camera mancava il frigobar e il parcheggio dell'hotel era a pagamento. Nella strada davanti comunque tutti i parcheggi sono gratuiti.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und haben den Parkplatz bei Ankunft für den gesamten Aufenthalt bezahlt. Leider wurde dies nicht vermerkt und wir erhielten auch keine Quittung. Beim Auschecken stellte sich dies als Problem heraus. Wegen 9€ wurden wir fast 30 Minuten aufgehalten und nachdem der Manager uns darauf aufmerksam machte dass er keinen Beweis für unsere Zahlung habe, fühlte ich mich der Lüge bezichtigt. Wir haben denParkplatz ein zweites Mal gezahlt und wieder keine Quittung erhalten, obschon darum gebeten wurde. Ich bin oft privat und geschäftlich in Velbert aber werde diese Hotel nicht mehr aufsuchen. Bisher hat sich der Manager nicht gemeldet um mir die doppelt gezahlten Parkplatzgebühren zurück zu erstatten.
Hinzu kommt, dass das Zimmer in Wirklichkeit ein Meetingraum war und Klappbetten das Doppelbett darstellten. Durch den grossen Abstand am Kopfende, wo das Kopfkissen nicht nach hinten abgestützt werden konnte, war die Nacht sehr ungemütlich.

Zur Zeit ist eine Bewertung etwas schwierig , da im Hotel alles geschlossen ist. Das Hotel versucht sein bestes über außer Haus Bestellungen einen guten Service anzubieten.

Negativ: Bei 11 tägigem Aufenthalt musste ich aus geschäftlichen Gründen einen Tag verkürzen. Das Hotel zeigte sich unflexibel und ich musste trotzdem alle Übernachtungen/Frühstücke voll bezahlen, obwohl bereits am ersten Tag mitgeteilt. Von anderen Hotels bin ich mehr Flexibilität gewohnt.
