If you are looking to stay here and have a need for internet look elsewhere.

The rooms are a good size and towels are great bu5 the WiFi is abysmal.

High speed WiFi what a joke speed test 1.15 mbps yes 1.15

There is no wifi in lobby there is no wifi in breakfast and that much concrete that data signal cannot penetrate.

When rises with front desk they wipe their hands of it and either say the investors will not spend money then it is the hotel is being sold nd we canno5 spend money

Nice quiet hotel. Staff is really nice and helpful. Taxi is at the hotel in less than 5 minutes. You'll need them to get around. Nice place to take a long walk.

Very clean and modern. Very nice and comfortable room. Convenient location but the restaurant was closed outside of breakfast. It's a long walk to the nearest restaurant or shop. You'll want a car to get around. Also if you speak English, there are no English language television stations and the internet was too slow to stream.

Brand new boring hotel in a residential area

Breakfast was not included in price of the room. Came as an extra bill at the end of the 4 nights stay. I felt cheated.
Bathroom had dirty nail clippings on the floor.
There is nothing near the hotel. 30 minute walk to the train station (or 10 euro cab drive). Nearest subway station is slightly closer than that but not much. No shop, restaurant or anything near.
Ok, on the plus side, everything is new and staff is friendly and helpful.

Spacious room with great breakfast restaurant

A great stay. The building serves as both hotel and commercial offices, which was unexpected, but not an issue. Breakfast was fantastic, but be prepared to pay for the quality and convenience. The room (deluxe) was surprisingly spacious and very well maintained.

Modern hotel with large size rooms

The rooms where large for a family of four and very quite. The beds were comfortable and the hotel parking (10euros) was reasonable. The staff was very friendly especially the young lady at the bar who did everything to accomodate our dinner requests (since the hotel Restaurant was closed on Sunday and also because it was August).

Nice Hotel - Enjoyed my stay very much

Located in a nice neighborhood. Safe to walk at night with no worries. Good restaurants within walking distance. The staff speaks English as I do not speak German, so this is a big plus for me. Hotel restaurant is also good. Some cons are, no fridge in rooms and no fitness center. This is my go to hotel in Essen.

We were attending an exhibition at the Messe Essen. This hotel was close enough to taxi in and was a better price then some other places. Sometimes you just have to pay a few extra dollars. The facilities were generally nice but there is absolutely nothing around the hotel.
The staff at the hotel did not care if we were helped or ignored.
Would not recommend.

Modern hotel in a good location

The hotel is very modern and has spacious rooms. Wifi works very good. It's located in Essen, so if you are planning meetings in Dusseldorf, it will take you around 30 to 40 minutes by car to get to Dusseldorf (depending on the traffic). Parking is right in the hotel or at night you can park outside, there are plenty of places and for free.
It has a very good restaurant inside, however, there is a supermarket about 10 minutes walk, and a shopping mall, cinema around 10-15 minutes by car.

Das Zimmer auf der zehnten Etage war sauber und angenehm. Der Checkin verlief ein bisschen holprig. Frühstück haben wir nicht eingenommen. Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür sind natürlich super. Die VIP Access Vorteile haben wir nicht erhalten (jedenfalls sind wir nicht darüber informiert worden).

On nous informe le jour même par mail dans l'après-midi que l'accueil ferme à 23h. Habituellement dans les hôtels on peut arriver à toute heure. La caisse du parking n'accepte que du paiement en liquide, impossible de payer par carte et le comble c'est que la caisse ne fonctionnait pas. On appelle l'assistance qui nous indique qu'il est possible de payer à l'accueil de l'hôtel et à l'accueil on nois indique que le parking est dissocié de l'hôtel et qu'ils ne peuvent rien faire.

Also das Hotel hat ganz dringend einen Maler Trupp notwendig. Generell ist gutes Hotel, aber wenn man sich um sieht, Wände abgenutzt usw. Rasierspiegel vie fast von der Wand ab. Positive am Zimmer, es gab eine Badewanne;)

Frühstück war top, auch das Frühstück Personal hat jeden Wunsch erfüllt und war sehr zuvorkommend.

Ich bin beruflich min. 10tage im Monat im Hotel, daher kenne ich die Unterschiede.

Wir waren mit Kind vor Ort und haben ein Zimmer bekommen, dass aus unserer Sicht so nicht hätte vermietet werden dürfen. Die Klimaanlage war nicht funktionsfähig, da der Drehschalter abgebrochen war. In einem Haus mit 120+ Zimmern erwarte ich, dass dies auch an einem Freitag um 17 Uhr sofort behoben wird. Stattdessen sah ich mich gezwungen die Abdeckung selbst zu demontieren um die Anlage in Betrieb nehmen zu können, damit das Zimmer (ohne zu öffnendes Fenster) klimatisiert werden konnte.
Dass das TV-Möbel ursprünglich mal an der Wand befestigt war, fiel uns erst auf den zweiten Blick auf, da noch die Schrauben herausguckten. Ein klares NO GO mit Kindern im Zimmer. Auch hier sah man an der Rezeption keine Notwendigkeit zur Abstellung.
Einen Servicegedanken konnte ich an der Rezeption nicht erkennen. Stattdessen bekam ich eine Belehrung, warum standardmäßig nur eine Zimmerkarte für 3 Personen ausgestellt wird. Da die Karte zur Nutzung des Fahrstuhls erforderlich ist, erwarte ich grundsätzlich mindestens zwei Karten.
Wie ich in einer weiteren Belehrung durch das Rezeptionspersonal erfahren durfte hat man auch auf das Frühstück keinen Einfluss, da dies durch einen Dienstleister erbracht wird. Darüber war ich sehr froh, da wenigstens das Frühstück eine große Vielfalt geboten hat und mit frischem Spiegelei und Omelett, sowie freundlichem Personal überzeugte. (eine gesonderte Bewertung des Frühstücks ist leider nicht möglich.)

Die Unterkunft liegt an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße. Man bekommt dann doch alles mit, was auf der Straße passiert. Ansonsten ist das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind angenehm ausgestattet. Ein kleiner Anstrich wäre mal wieder fällig. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und nettes Personal. Zimmer sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auf den zweiten Blick jedoch eher unsauber. Der Teppich hat mit der Zeit gelitten und ist sehr unansehnlich und fleckig. Die Wände ziemlich bekleckert, die Fensterbänke schon länger nicht mehr abgewaschen. Das Tablett auch usselig .Frühstück reichlich und lecker.
1 Nacht ok, für länger eher nochmal überdenken.

Hotel sollte in einigenDingen(Teppich,Sitzgelegnheiten usw.) ausgetauscht,gemalert werden.In punkto Sauberkeit wurde gut darauf geachtet. Aber das ist kein Ding. Personal im Keeping oder auch an der Rezeption, super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Führung sollte Stolz auf so ein Personal sein, daß mit solcher Freude dort ihre Arbeit verrichtet.

Gute Lage mit Anbindung an Autobahn A52 und ÖPNV zur Innenstadt und nach Rüttenscheid.Zimmer gut isoliert und ruhig, trotz Ausrichtung zur stark befahrenen Hauptstraße. Das WLAN war kostenlos, aber auf dem Zimmer so gut wie kein Empfang, sodass noch nicht einmal WhatsApp-Anrufe möglich waren.

Erfahung im Webers

Der Schreibtisch ist etwas klein. Darauf steht auch das Telefon und ein Tablet mit Wasserkocher, Tee, Instant-café. Mit einer Laptopgröße ab 15,6 wird es sehr eng.

Die W-Lan-Verbindung bricht sehr oft ab obwohl genug Reichweite vorhanden ist. Wenn es mehrmals am Tag passiert kann es schon nerven.


Die Zimmer werden jeden Tag hergerichtet sofern man kein \"Bitte nicht stören\" Schild draussen an der Klinke hängt.


Ich habe 68€/ Nacht bezahlt. Frühstück ist nicht inkl. Kostet 17€/ Person. Da muss man schauen ob es sich lohnt. Wer nur 1 Brötchen, Tee/ Café und ein Apfel isst würde es sich nicht lohnen.

Der Café kommt aus einem Vollautomat. Von solchen Maschinen halte ich die Finger weg und zahle nicht für sowas minderwertiges.

Wenn man Gast in dem Hotel ist hat man gleich kostenlosen Zugang zum nahegelegenen FitX ( ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß ).

Over all good

Over all good, the reception is friendly, the place is clean and offers what you expect.
The bed might be a bit to hard for me, but that is a personal thing.
The wifi needs an Update, 2024 and just scraping by on two bars is not acceptable.
Breakfeast was good, but at 20€ pr day it is in the heavy end.
Did not eat dinner at the hotel.

Als Business Hotel recht okay

Das Hotel ist gut für Business Übernachtungen. Das Frühstück war ganz okay und ausreichend, wenn für 19,50€ für meines Erachten etwas zu teuer. Die Wände der Gänge und Flure könnten definitiv mal einen neuen Anstrich bekommen.
Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gemütlich gewesen. Die Wlan Verbindung war sehr schlecht und sehr langsam. Office Arbeiten waren sehr schwierig auszuführen. Als Gold Status Gast angepriesene Wein Flasche als Willkommensgeschenk sucht man allerdings auch vergeblich

Alles nötige in 15min zu Fuß zu erreichen oder in wenigen Minuten mit dem Bus bzw Straßenbahn. Sauberkeit ist ok. Kleinere Renovierungen wie zb Silikonfugen im Bad, neuer Teppich auf dem Flur oder bisschen neue Farbe auf dem Flur müssten mal gemacht werden. Alles in allem aber ein gutes ruhiges Hotel das ich sicher nochmal buchen würde.

Entspannter Aufenthalt in das Hotel im RUHRTURM

Wir hatten von Freitag nachmittag bis Samstag 11 Uhr einen sehr guten Aufenthalt in das Hotel im Ruhrturm. Beim sehr freundlichen Empfang würde uns alles gut erklärt, wie man die Karte im Aufzug und in dem Zimmer benutzen sollten. Das Zimmer war sauber, ruhig, das Bad ebenfalls, ein kleiner Makel für das Bad, wäre schön, wenn eine zusätzliche Stange für das Duschtuch vorhanden wäre und es gab in der Dusche zwar Shampoo aber ein Duschgel leider fehlte.

Kein Besuch wert

Ich kann nur von einem Besuch abraten. Die Rezeption war total unfreundlich, Vorteile wurden nicht gegeben. Mit den kostenlosen Parkplätzen wurde Werbung gemacht aber die gibt es gar nicht.
Die Zimmer bzw die wände sind beschmiert. Reinigungspersonal lässt ihre Putzutensilien im Zimmer stehen. Auch der Service ließ zu wünschen übrig. Das Frühstück für 22€ ist ein Witz, denn es gibt trotz des teuren Frühstücks nur Pulverrührei und keinerlei Service.

Es wird mit kostenlosem Parken geworben. Tatsächlich kostet das Parkticket pro Nacht 14,- EUR. Es erfolgte kein Hinweis im Vorfeld durch die Rezeption. Zudem extremer Lärm in der Nacht durch die Abendgesellschaft. Hotel bräuchte generell einen frischen Anstrich, schon sehr heruntergekommen. Code für WLAN musste gerätespezifisch in der Rezeption beantragt werden und funktionierte dann nur sehr mangelhaft.
Fazit: einmal und nie wieder!

Schönes Hotel

Hotel war gut erreichbar, Parkplätze gegen Gebühr in der hoteleigenen Tiefgarage oder kostenlos in direkter Umgebung. Das Hotel wirkt hell und freundlich. Wir hatten ein Comfort Business Zimmer, dieses war ausreichend groß. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich. Das Bad wsr ausreichend groß, leider funktionierte die Lüftung dort nicht. Nach 5 Minuten duschen war der Spiegel schon nicht mehr nutzbar. Kleine Makel an Silikonverfugung um die Toilette. Dafür war das Wasser durchgehend warm beim Duschen.
Das Zimmer war sauber. Wir vermissten einen Kühlschrank. Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei. Das Frühstücksbuffet war toll - es gab eine große Auswahl und wir mussten erst einmal sichten, was es so alles gab. Auch der Service hier war toll - aufmerksam und freundlich! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
