Pleasant stay. Room was very clean and comfortable. It was facing the road so was a tad bit noisy on a Saturday evening but not unbearable. Everything you need is fairly close by. Breakfast was very nice. Highly recommended

We booked this hotel because it was cheap and to break up the long journey to Munich - we were extremely surpised to find just how amazing it was! Centre of Essen and close to town and amenities, the hotel itself was extremely clean and the beds were super comfy! Most rooms have a balcony style opening at the window and we were lucky enough to have a corner room with almost panoramic views. Staff were approachable but found not all that helpful in our experience. Breakfast was expensive in our opinion so we passed.
The hotel itself was done up in a contemporary style building site look and it worked! Really the best nights sleep we had in Germany overall due to the comfortable and rather big king size bed and shower was powerful. Definately recommended. If you can find some parking on the street it is free, depending on which part you park in (look at the signs). There were also a lot of young people staying here attending the rooftop bar

Leuk hotel met onafgewerkte betonnen muren maar toch sfeervol. De voorzieningen in de kamer en de badkamer zijn helaas te minimaal; geen kast om je kleurenblind te leggen, geen plank in de douche voor je douchespullen etc en dat is eigenlijk een gemiste kans. Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van winkels en lekkere restaurants. Het ontbijt is vrij basic, spullen worden te laat bijgevuld en dan te lang mee naar de keuken genomen, waardoor je te lang zonder kaas etc. zit.

Geschäftsreisender ist es leider so dass man erst zum Kunden macht und dein ins Hotel geht, so dass ich dann genau zu dieser Zeit eine ziemliche Schlange an der Rezeption bildet Punkt in diesem konkreten Fall war sie ja doch mit zwei Mitarbeitern besetzt, so dass der Check-In innerhalb von knapp in zehn Minuten abgehandelt war. Danach ging es dann den Fahrstuhl hoch zu den Zimmern und hier erwartete mich bereits die erste Überraschung. Die Zimmer sehen einfach klasse aus. Viel Platz, Sichtbeton und helles Holz machen einen sehr luftigen, modernen Eindruck. Soweit so gut. Der Dämpfer kam dann, als ich über die hintere Treppe zu meinem Auto in der Tiefgarage ging Punkt bereits beim Öffnen der Tür zum Treppenhaus schlug mir ein unangenehmer Geruch nach Fisch und Müll entgegen. Und tatsächlich passierte ich auf dem Weg zur Tiefgarage die Küchentür, an der ein Schild stand diese Tür bitte nicht offen stehen lassen. Oder so ähnlich Punkt auf alle Fälle stand genau diese Tür offen und augenscheinlich wurde der Ausgang aus der Küche zum wegbringen des Mülls genutzt, was den sehr unangenehmen Geruch und die Spuren auf dem Boden erklärte. An dieser Stelle also nicht mehr modern und luftig sondern eher Hinterhof Atmosphäre. Hier könnte man sicherlich eine bessere Lösung finden und Gäste Ströme und versorgungsströme besser trennen. Ansonsten kann ich das Hotel fast uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werde das nächste mal auch wieder hier übernachten Punkt allerdings diesmal ohne Frühstück

Leider war es sehr dreckig, auf den Fensterscheiben waren überall Fingerabdrücke besonders im Kleinkindbereich, auf dem Vorhang musste einmal erbrochen worden sein. Die Bar hatte geschlossen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war für die Auswahl zu teuer, andere Hotelketten, bieten für den Preis deutlich mehr und bessere Qualität. Der Stil Flowers - Blumen könnte schön sein, alles in allem jedoch sehr Kaltherzig und wirkt noch im Renovierungsprozess.

Schönes Hotel mit großen Zimmern.Bad hat sogar Fußbodenheizung was zur kalten Jahreszeit sehr angenehm ist.Schöne große Tiefgarage die kostenpflichtig ist aber war das Geld wert.Zimmer sind wie in fast allen Hotels hellhörig was die Zimmernachbarn bestritt und somit hört man gewisse Geräusche aber nachts war es ruhig.

Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral und die Innenstadt ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Es gibt genug Parkplätze vor dem Hotel und an den Straßenseiten neben dem Hotel. Daher muss keine 15€ für den Parkplatz des Hotels ausgegeben werden. Das Hotelzimmer hätte etwas mehr sauber sein können.

Frukosten var i dyraste laget tycker vi, men det hjälper att det finns flera alternativ i närområdet som serverar frukost/brunch.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Problemloser Check-in und Check-out. Wir haben das Hotel gewählt weil wir in der Veltins-Arena Gelsenkirchen ein Konzert besucht haben. Fahrzeit mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln bis dorthin eine knappe Stunde. War aber überhaupt kein Problem.

Das Hotel an sich war gut, liegt zentral und fußläufig zur Essener Innenstadt.

Zudem fanden wir Silberfische am Vorhang.
Das größte Manko des Hotels ist jedoch das Frühstück. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Für nicht ganz günstige 17,50 Euro pro Person haben wir heute morgen vor einem leeren Brötchenkorb gestanden.
Trotzdass wir mitten in der Frühstückszeit da waren, wurden die Brötchen immer nur mit 5-6 Stück nachgefüllt, was überhaupt nicht ausreichend war für die Anzahl der Gäste. Ständig warteten die Leute am Buffet bis der Service wieder was brachte, Brötchen, Rührei und Saft waren ständig leer. Sehr stressig am Morgen.
Auf Nachfrage ob das Rührei nochmal aufgefüllt würde, kam nur eine patzige Antwort der Dame, es gäbe heute kein Rührei mehr, man solle das nächste mal früher frühstücken kommen. Die Antwort kam wohlgemerkt in der angegebenen Frühstückszeit.
Nach 5 Minuten kam sie dann nochmal zu uns an den Tisch und fragte ob sie uns doch noch extra etwas Ei bringen sollte, wohl selbst etwas erschrocken von ihrer unfreundlichen Art mir gegenüber zuvor am Buffet.
Die beste Lösung wäre wohl einfach das Buffet aufgefüllt zu halten während der Frühstückszeit sodass alle entspannt etwas zu essen erhalten.

Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig und hat einen kleinen Balkon mit Tisch und Stuhl. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage, die an heißen Tagen goldwert ist und individuell eingestellt werden kann. Das Badezimmer hat eine gute Größe mit einer großen Dusche und genügend Ablagefläche.
Jeden Tag gab es kostenlos zwei kleine Flaschen Wasser aufs Zimmer, was sehr positiv in Erinnerung geblieben ist.
