Good but basic hotel. Rooms quite small and not much storage space. No facility to make a hot drink in the room. Not far from city centre but the area is not great. On a noisy road with Building work and scrubland across the road. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was decent, although the restaurant was very busy at the weekend. We struggled to find somewhere to sit.

The hotel was easy to find and parking next to hotel. The receptionist claimed that I had to pay for the room, which I denied. As I had a long I decided to pay. In the morning I raised question with receptionist and after she made further inquiries they agreed to refund the payment

Superb hotel, if a little away from the main centre of town. Peace and quiet and large rooms. Only negative was an alarm went off for the room next to me, but this was soon fixed. Staff on duty 24 hours.

Modern hotel in Essen, comfortable bed and bathroom, breakfast quite good, central area in Essen. a few negative points: no gym, no desk or chair to work on in the room, only one person at reception so some queues at times for check-in and -out, no fridge or minibar in room, no housekeeping for first three days. generally nice though.

Not a great night
Having escaped from Ukraine and using this hotel as 2nd part of the journey we were refused entry without a Covid test. After a 9 hour drive we spent a further 4 hours driving around Essen trying to get a test. Staff were helpful and offered us free parking and breakfast to make up for our stressful time, there is limited parking at a cost of 14€ and breakfast is a further 12.5€ so worth noting an extra 39€ on the room price for a couple. No water or even glasses in the room and not pet friendly as described in hotel.com

The reception and lounge area were spacious and comfortable. The rooms were a bit small but manageable. Not enough lights in the room so was a bit dark. The staff was excellent and so very helpful and always with a smile and friendly. Breakfast was nice and plentiful. The kitchen was closed during lunch so it made it a little difficult to work from there in the afternoon. Overall nice place, clean and again a great staff.

Die Mitarbeiter Vorort waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist modern, perfekt für junge Leute. Es gibt Parkplätze, allerdings kann man diese nicht reservieren. In den benachbarten Straßen findet man weitere Parkplätze. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und elegant gestaltet.

Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich gut und auch schön angerichtet. Leider hat ständig etwas gefehlt und man musste immer wieder aufstehen um nachzusehen ob etwas nachgefüllt wurde. Das Personal war sehr bemüht ist aber nicht rum gekommen. Es war auch nicht genügend Besteck vorhanden. Man musste sich Messer, Gabeln, Löffel usw. an vielen Tischen zusammensuchen und immer wieder beim Personal nachfragen.

Das Zimmer hat vermutlich aufgrund des Teppichs im Zimmer sehr unangenehm gerochen. Ein schwarzer Stuhl im Zimmer war total verstaubt- an der Sauberkeit könnte also noch gearbeitet werden. Es fehlt ein Spiegel mit Vergrößerung im Bad. Das Bad ist neu und die Dusche ist super. Der Empfang war nicht besonders herzlich, aber schnell. Im Großen und Ganzen finde ich das Hotel sonst ganz okay. Das Frühstück war auch absolut in Ordnung.

Zimmer gut, Check-In verwirrend
Das Hotelzimmer ist aufgeräumt und hat eine angenehme Atmosphähre.
Beim Check-In wurde der Beleg von mir vorgezeigt, mit dem Hinweis, dass ich ein Zimmer gebucht habe. Wieso muss dann extra nochmal der Vor- und Nachname erwähnt werden, sodass es jeder in unmittelbarer Nähe hört. Es wurde ja nichtmals ein Ausweis überprüft, sondern einfach nur der Name vorgelesen.
Ich hab nicht umsonst den Namen zunächst nicht erwähnt, sondern diskret den Beleg vorgezeigt.

Fin hotel. Trevligt personal ren hotel och sköna mysiga rum. Bara litet misstag att vi har trotts beställning av Queensäng dubbel men vi fått 2 enkla säng. Vilket var tråkigt när man besöker som Par och sova i separata säng. Receptionen kunde inte hjälpa och bad oss kontakta hotellet vilket är också fel.

Parkieren vor dem Eingang unmöglich
Insgesamt war das Hotel in Ordnung. Es handelt sich um ein neues Hotel, und alles war sauber. Leider gab es keine Pantoffeln, und die Zimmer waren sehr dunkel eingerichtet mit wenig Tageslicht. Zudem ist ein grosses Gebäude direkt vor dem Fenster, was die Aussicht stark beeinträchtigt. Die Mitarbeiter waren jedoch sehr freundlich.
Ein weiterer negativer Punkt sind die Parkmöglichkeiten. An beiden Tagen konnten wir leider keinen einzigen Parkplatz finden, und es ist auch nicht möglich, Parkplätze im Voraus zu reservieren. Die Parkplätze sind auf Glück angewiesen und kosten zudem auch Geld. Falls man wegfährt und zurückkommt, muss man damit rechnen, keinen Parkplatz mehr zu finden, obwohl man dafür bezahlt hat.
Aus diesen Gründen kommt das Hotel für uns nicht mehr in Frage. Wir mussten auf der gegenüberliegenden Strassenseite parken und täglich mit unserem Gepäck eine Hauptstrasse überqueren, was für uns während der zwei Tage sehr unpraktisch war.
Ein weiterer negativer Punkt sind die Parkmöglichkeiten. An beiden Tagen konnten wir leider keinen einzigen Parkplatz finden, und es ist auch nicht möglich, Parkplätze im Voraus zu reservieren. Die Parkplätze sind auf Glück angewiesen und kosten zudem auch Geld. Falls man wegfährt und zurückkommt, muss man damit rechnen, keinen Parkplatz mehr zu finden, obwohl man dafür bezahlt hat.

Als eine Stammkundin bin ich diesmal leider nicht so zufrieden. Die MA sind nett wie immer, aber die zwei Silberfischchen im Zimmer haben meine Laune total zerstört. Ich denke, das Hotel braucht eine Runde spezieller Reinigung gegen Silberfischchen. Und der 7. Stock scheint diesmal sehr voll zu sein und das führte dazu, dass ich in den drei Nächten viel Mals von dem Türknallen der Nachbarn aufgeweckt, sogar gegen 4 Uhr.

Ik heb een fijn verblijf gehad in het hotel. De kamer was netjes en bed was heerlijk. Fijne badkamer ook met heerlijke douche. 1 dag ontbijt genomen en was lekker met veel opties ook voor vegetariërs. De pancake machine met maple syrup machine was geweldig, evenals de verse ginger shots.

Ik kom hier al heel lang maar deze keer toch een minder fijn verblijf gehad. Na een heel lang durende check-in, kregen we een eenpersoonskamer in plaats van een tweepersoons. Toen kregen we een nieuwe kamer, waarbij het plafond in de badkamer op verschillende plekken beschimmeld was, niet fijn! Vervolgens werd onze kamer de volgende dag niet schoongemaakt dus hadden wij geen toiletpapier (we hadden bij binnenkomst namelijks slechts 1 reeds gebruikte rol van de vorige gasten). Ook functioneerde de verwarming in de badkamer niet. Tot slot beweerde de medewerker bij het uitchecken dat wij nog een openstaande rekening hadden, wat niet klopte. Allemaal kleine dingetjes maar toch vervelend als je op vakantie bent en lekker rustig wil genieten.

Kamer was schoon. Ik miste ten opzichte van andere keren wel een aantal dingen, zoals spelletjes op de kamer, gratis drankje als je de kamer niet laat schoonmaken, soundbar niet aanwezig, extra spiegeltje in de badkamer etc. Ook was de receptie niet te bereiken na 2x bellen met kijn mobiel. Eigenlijk raar dat er geen telefoon op de kamer aanwezig is. Ik kon het nummer van de receptie ook nergens op de kamer vinden. Ik kwam hier via Google achter. Ik heb 2x gebeld maar niemand nam op. Toen ben ik naar beneden gegaan en was de receptionist op zijn eigen mobiel aan het telefoneren. Hij was wel super vriendelijk en heeft me verder goed geholpen!

Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut isoliert. Sobald die Fenster zu sind hört man garnichts mehr von der Straße. Die Klimaanlage/ Lüftung im Zimmer hat nicht richtig funktioniert. Wir waren auf der siebten Etage und es war sehr warm obwohl es im Mai war und draußen nur 23 C maximal waren. Das Bett war am Anfang dreckig, deswegen der Abzug bei der Sauberkeit. Uns ist der dreck am Anfang auch erst nicht aufgefallen da das Kopfkissen über der dreckigen Stelle vom lacken war. Es war auch nicht nur ein bisschen dreckig. Es sah sehr nach vielen kleinen roten Pkt aus die sich über die gesamte Matratzenbreite spannten.
Zum Zimmer sonst noch: Schön eingerichtet, aber obwohl es danach aussah keine Schubladen oder diverse verstau Möglichkeiten.
Frühstück nicht zu beklagen, schöne Auswahl. Schönes Ambiente und lange Zeiten.
