Breakfast was not free as stated innyour survey.
Check-in was not smooth. Had booked a twin room but hotel had changed it to a double. Had to stand our ground & demand twin. Took about 20 minutes but staff eventually sorted it.
Very clean 2* hotel. Close to 2 supermarkets, 2 backeries and a few restaurants.

Great Hotel for Airport Travellers

It is a great location if you are flying in or out of Stuttgart. It is close to the SBahn station, the rooms are spacious and clean and the front desk staff are very helpful.

This is really clean and spacious hotel - the cleaning staff are a little eager to clean the room early in the morning - two knocks too many and one entered when I was in bed (not good for privacy) but all in all really great quality.

Hotel has everything you need. Traveling for business, 10 minute walk from S-Bahn line. Very convenient; supermarkets next door. Quiet, despite being close to airport and main roads. Wish it had mini-fridge in the room; but overall solid place. Staff was helpful.

This is a great place to stay when in Stuttgart

Whenever I fly to Germany in and out Stuttgart this is where I stay. It's just one subway stop from the airport and the rooms are clean, the staff are helpful and friendly and it is a great place to stay. On my most recent trip I needed to get to the airport at 4:30 a.m. and the staff made certain to call a taxi for me so that it arrived at the hotel at 4:00 a.m. and I was at the airport 15 minutes later.

Very useful and convenient for Stuttgart Airport. Can travel there by S or U Bahn, though my flight was too early for them.
Reception staff helped me sort out my travel to the airport (ordering a taxi) and giving me information about local places for dinner.

Conveniently located near the airport

I stayed here as part of a business trip to Stuttgart. Because I was arriving later in the evening this hotel offered a convenient location being just one train stop from the airport. It took less than 10 minutes to walk to the hotel which is situated next door to a Lidl which opens late. The check in was effortless and all the staff encountered were friendly and polite. The room was small but perfectly adequate for a one night stop over. It was clean and had a TV. It was also very quiet. The bathroom including liquid soap and shampoo. The breakfast buffet was simple yet good. Plenty of choice of hot and cold breakfast elements. The WiFi was fast and free. There was an option for a paid WiFi service that offered faster speeds. But I don’t think this is necessary. All in all a great hotel. Simple, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.

Still great hotel. But this time the man charged me for a cup of coffee in the morning.
Previously I had a cup at no charge and it really made my day.
Still would stay there and it is always consistently a good value and plenty of places in the neighborhood to visit.

Typical Ibis hotel. Clean room and close to many supermarkets and other shops. AC will turn off automatically at night and won't turn on until room gets bit hot which can affect your sleep specially in hot summer. Good options for Buffet breakfast.

Hotel was fine for a stay the night before a flight from Stuttgart Airport. Was surprised that there was a fee for parking (10Euro) but otherwise, it was a comfortable stay. For being so close to the airport, room was well insulated and I did not hear any flights arriving or departing.

This is a reasonable hotel. It's main selling feature is that it's close to Stuttgart airport: if you are travelling light you can walk to it in 30 minutes, with pavements and street lighting the whole way. The bathroom is a bit plasticky, but otherwise fine.

Hotel is located one station from the Stuttgart airport. Great location, lidl and aldi next to it.
Something to keep in mind- there is no frigde or minibar. Also no teapot or water.
Sheets wasn't clean! Not a 4 stars hotel definately!

Typical inexpensive business traveler's hotel. Be careful... Doors slam and wake you up easily, if you don't smoke, you can smell some of the smoke from Floor 6 if you are on Floor 5. Hotel at capacity so fought for hot water.

One stop from the airport with good access to City

A very pleasant experience and a very good breakfast. We used the hotel for the excellent Christmas Markets and found getting around the transport system so easy. Tip - It is worth calling in to the Tourist Centre at the airport - we got a ticket for 5 of us covering three days travel everywhere for 19 Euros each! This is a City that welcomes people rather than deters them with crazy travel prices (are you listening Manchester and London!?)

Convenient location to Airport Only 5 mins away

The rooms are very clean and parking is on location and only costs 6Euros. Restaurants are within walking distance. Airport 5 mins away (Take the back road save you a few mins) Skipped breakfast there because it was sort of pricey, but I am sure they probably have good food. Would highly recommend this as a good value.

I have stayed in Hotel Ibis properties before and this one was the same: inexpensive, clean, friendly staff and no frills. Room was small but didnt need much--just a place to sleep. Only issue was booked an airport shuttle for 0800 but when we went to sign up, they did not have us on the list. The vehicle was small as there were other people needing to catch the same shuttle. After a bit of confusion they were able to accomodate us all.

The room was decent, Location of the hotel is close to the city railway station and there are food joint and super markets near by. The hotel charges 6 Euro for parking, which is bit expensive I thought. Reception was good overall except; the evening receptionist (white female) was very rude and sarcastic. Spoils the overall experience of the hotel.

Good hotel for a stopover

Hotel was used as we had an early flight the next morning.
The hotel is clean and tidy and low cost.
It is a typical Ibis hotel, no frills but fine for 1 night.
Annoys me that they don't even have tea and coffee in the room but you can buy it from the bar downstairs.
This hotel is not on the airport campus and is approx. €12-14 in a taxi. Apparently there is a train service that is cheaper but we couldn't work it out! there is a bus (large car) back to the airport but I don't think there is one from the airport to the hotel.

We stayed for one night, as a stopover after visiting the southern Black Forest. Our double room was clean and spacious, the friendly staff spoke both German and English, there was free wi-fi in the lobby and the staff stored our luggage for us, as we needed to check out before our flight was due. There was also free shuttle service to the airport between 4 30am and 8 30am, for those that required it.

Ibis is within walking distance from Stutgart aiport and is situated in a quiet town called Echterdingen. Echterdingen has a few restaurants, a lovely icecream shop, a large bakery, a pub and a train station (in very close proximity to Ibis). It is only one train journey away from Stutgart city centre and the journey takes about 30 minutes.

In all we had a very good experience!

Functional clean hotel. Wifi in the room is 9EUR for 24 hours which is expensive, but free access is available in the lobby. Hotel is also a 5 minute walk and a 5 minute train journey away from the airport and exhibition halls. I would stay again.

The worst hotel night in years

We made our reservation 10 days ahead and received the last available non-smoking room on ground level. The room was unbearably hot for November,the air conditioning was not working so we had to keep the window open. Outside was a smoking and beer drinking area,people smoked and talked until 2:00 and again starting at 6:00, all that smoke drifting in. The window was so low that anyone could jump or grab in, outside a bright yellow electric display of hotel prices shining in.The promised WIFI did not work on the I Pad

Convenient but LOUD

I was looking for a hotel close to the airport purely for the night before my international flight home. This one fit the bill and was excellent for that aspect. We were very close to the airport and the rental car return. The hotel room was comfortable and clean but this had to be the loudest hotel I've ever found. I have no idea where all the noise was coming from. If someone had told me they demolished the parking deck in the middle of the night and then rebuilt it with heavy equipment, I wouldn't have been surprised at all. There was awful banging and crashing going on all night that was totally inexplicable. And so, while the room was comfortable, our entire stay was dominated by that noise that kept waking us up all night long.

The hotel was very nice and the staff extreamly helpful especially as we don't speak German that good. The hotal was run very efficently and everything was really clean.
We had a free shuttle bus supplied for us which made it easy to get to the airport (even at 5 o'clock in the morning).
I would recomend this hotel and we hope to visit again.

Wir hatten für eine Nacht im Ibis Hotel Stuttgart Airport einen insgesamt einfachen und angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Empfang war freundlich und der Check-in ging schnell. Im Zimmer hat es grundsätzlich an nichts gefehlt und die Betten waren überraschend sehr gut, sodass wir richtig gut schlafen konnten. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war absolut in Ordnung.

Ein kleiner Minuspunkt: Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass es im Hotel wohl auch Raucherzimmer gibt, muffelt es in den Gängen teilweise etwas...

Alles in allem war aber alles gut – gerne wieder.

God service fra personalet .... vi havde lidt problemer med appen til Parkering ... her var Personalet super behjælpelige ... det samme da vores nøglekort gik døde.

Fine værelser .. ikke prangende .. men der var det der skulle være ... eneste mangel var et lille køleskab.

Udemærket morgenmad - faktisk rigtig fin standard til prisen.

Vi har allerede booket hotellet igen til næste år :)
