Stop wasting your time looking for a hotel in Stuttgart. Just book this place! We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Clean, free parking, quiet, good neighborhood. And the breakfast was excellent with so much variety along with great staff and service. We will for sure book here again for the next time we are in Stuttgart.

I paid for 4 nights parking in the garage. They didn't bother to give me the tokens to enter or exit the garage. Told me to press the intercom and they would buzz me in. Trouble is even when exiting the garage you need a token, if you don't have one you have to get out of your car walk to the other side of the gate and press the intercom. They are supposed to be at the desk until 11:15 pm, the first night I got back to the hotel at 11:03, buzzed the intercom, no answer they had sent home early so I can't get in the garage. I call the after hours line, he can't help get me in as he was at a different hotel, but tells me they should have given me tokens and says if I can get inside to the front desk I can look for tokens. The only way in at night is thru the garage as the lock all the doors to the hotel. I walked thru the garage and up to the lobby but couldn't find the tokens behind the desk. Didn't get to use the garage but still got charged, no sorry nothing. The next day even for a hard time about getting tokens, only wanted to give me two at a time do each time I had to go ask for more, stupid. Additionally for two days the wifi was down so I had to pay for extra cell service. There were wifi systems in the hotel working just not the guest one but they wouldn't allow us to use them and somehow couldn't fix the guest one. Again didn't get what I paid for. Poorly run hotel poor guest service, wouldn't stay here again. Had a great stay at a different hotel in Munich.

Worse hotel I ever stay at, no customer service at all. NO AC we got there the first night I forgot my room keys inside no one answer the phone I have to sleep in another room until the next day. No apologies from anyone at the hotel. They only thing I like was the coffee’s.

We checked in the receptionist said the restaurant opened up at 6 pm we didn't want to travel out for food, went down at six no one was there apparently they never showed or called off, nothing in immediate walking restaurants
We chose this hotel because it said it had a restaurant. We were just a little bit disappointed.
We did walk in the rain.
To a restaurant about 15 minutes away

This is a good corporate hotel for the companies nearby but too far from the airport to really call itself an airport hotel. There is nothing within walking distance and the airport shuttle only runs limited hours, must be reserved a day in advance and still costs 10 euro. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but nothing special.

Service was great. The hotel was very close to the airport but surprisingly could not hear the airplanes. Very comfortable room and clean. My only problem was there was no hot water for a shower. I ran the water for almosy 10 minutes and then just had to take a cold shower. It was 3:30 am and the front desk was shut down.

WiFi didn't work upon arrival. Even with the help of a staff-member there was no WiFi connection until the 11.9. in the morning. It worked on 11.9. and 12.9. off and on. We had to register to get online at least 30 times. Fan in bathroom has the noise-level of a motorbike. Roomwalls very thin, poorly soundproof, you can hear what your neighbour is doing. There is no shuttle-service every hour, as promised. Staff very unhelpful. We demand reimbursement of at least half the price.

I have never dealt with receptionists that were so rude and condescending. Not only was I lied to about the dinner service, I was also laughed at and mocked when I told the receptionists I had no hot water in my room. The employees were more than unfriendly. The hotel is not easy to get to and there are no restaurants or stores near by. The WiFi was so spotty it wouldn't even work most of the time. I ordered the hotel shuttle to take me to the airport and paid the 5 euros the night before, per standard. The shuttle was supposed to be there at 8 am. It wasn't until our taxi got there at 8:15 that we were told the hotel shuttle wasn't running that day. It was one thing after another with this hotel and I was not pleased in the least bit with our stay.

Ideal for one night before a flight

This is a basic hotel with most things you will need for an overnight stay. The room was comfortable and clean. It is close to the airport and they can provide a shuttle bus for a small charge.
There is a restaurant (Bistro) in the hotel and the bar but this was only covered by one lady (both cooking and serving) while I was there and at one point all that was on offer were pizzas.

The Sunday night we stayed the hotel was very quiet. We had dinner at the hotel but the menu was limited. From what I could make out (I don't speak German) they were upgrading the kitchen - but it may have just been Sunday night. So the menu was limited to Pizza, Baguettes and Salad dishes. Light meals. Big Portions. The area around the hotel is aviation/commercial so apart from McDonald's there wasn't a lot of alternatives.

Breakfast was much more expansive and, in contrast to dinner, very good.

Paid underground parking was optional. But there was street parking available.

All in all a good option if you are catching an early plane from Stuttgart airport. But suggest grabbing a meal before you arrive.

Stayed at this hotel as my flight was cancelled. Hotel is clean, comfortable and value for money. The only bad point is the difficulty of getting the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Had to make at least 2 calls each time to get on a shuttle. The first call I made, the staff will ask me to wait at terminal 3 departure entrance but after 15mins there is no sight of the shuttle (note that the shuttle is actually just a taxi that is called by the hotel, there will not be any sign or anything to show that it is the shuttle) . After which I will have to call a second time and the reception will ask me to take a taxi and claim the fare from the hotel. Will highly suggest that the hotel have their own shuttle or at least have a designated call point. For travellers, I will suggest that you just inform the hotel on the first call that you will get a taxi and claim it from them.

Convenient to STR airport. Shuttle service. Clean. Excellent breakfast for 8 Euro. Free parking outdoors with normal German parkschein. Comfortable room. Only downside was the one gel fits all for shower and shampoo, but this is typical in a middle-level German hotel, so not really an issue. I like the place.

This hotel is not close to anything, not even the airport. There is a McDonalds close by, but no shopping or anything else. There is an airport shuttle ever hour that you have to book in advance, but too bad if you get to the airport at 10:05, cause then you are waiting for 55 minutes for the next shuttle.
We were on vacation, and house keeping came by at 8:30am to clean our room on the first day! We were so jet lagged still that we were still in bed. Then they came back 30 minutes later to try again! We were still tying to get dressed! After that we kept the do not disturb sign on the door at all times.
The resturant food was poor quality and expensive. It tasted like everything was precooked and just warmed up in the microwave.
The room had no fridge or microwave, so we couldnt bring any leftovers up to our room to snack on later.
The bathroom was adaquate. Small and the shower was cramped.

You can see the hotel has been there for a bit and some of the features look tired but the room itself was clean and of good standard
They offer a free airport pick up. This was interesting to arrange because you need to call when arrived and then wait. In absence of a German phone number they can't call you back so it was a little confusing but worked a treat

It is unclear what the service on the shuttle is. In the evening by arrival They sent a taxi to airport. Also 0,5 H. later a taxi brought me back to airport for my appointment. NEzt morning it was by my surprise a hourly service that had just gone.

Some of this typical for German hotels which generally only have one pillow per bed, no top sheet and a small comforter. The ceiling had water damage, the breakfast was horrible, the taxi to the hotel from the airport was €12.00. In my opinion, not worth the money and there are other hotels that are closer to the airport and cheaper.

1) Their credit card machine was not working, and checkout took too long; 2) internet was very slow and difficult to maintain a connection. This was important to me to have a decent connection, and I could not accomplish even minor tasks.

Beware of Thieves!!!

I'm usually not a writer of reviews, however, the experience I have had in this hotel almost obligates me to warn other potential travelers. I travelled to Germany for business purposes in September 10. I'm a doctor from CA and visited Germany to attend a medical conference. After the first night in this Hotel my iPad got stolen out of the room while I was at breakfast. I was only gone for 25 minutes (!). I notified the hotel manager immediately and - after looking through the room with me - she started questioning that I ever had an iPad. I even filed a police report (luckily the police station is right next to the hotel) and she still didn't believe me.... even after printing out the order receipt for my iPad. She even started getting loud with me. Why do I have to proof that I am the victim?

In all the years that I have been traveling for business and personal purpose I have NEVER been treated more disrespectfully than at the Best Western Hotel in Filderstadt. Customer Service is something they haven't heard of. I am personally disgusted by this experience and will never visit any Best Western Hotel again. If you are considering to stay at this Hotel then PLEASE do not take any iPad / iPhone / laptop or other valuables with you... there are no safes in the rooms and I figured out why...

this was a closeby location for a conference at the Trade Center (which is close to the airport). the rooms are comfortable but basic. no luxury, but clean and the staff are efficient and friendly. pricing is great and includes a reasonable breakfast (eggs, cold cuts, cereals, breads,..). only thing i really did not like was the fruit with the breakfast...canned!!!!

Mein Aufenthalt war während der Comiccon Stuttgart. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber und das Personal immer freundlich. Durch die Lage war es auch sehr ruhig, aber trotzdem durch die Busanbindung (etwa 5 min Laufweg) recht gut auch ohne Auto erreichbar.
Zum Frühstück wäre es noch toll gewesen, wenn es Milch-Alternativen nicht erst auf Anfrage gibt :)

Leider war mein Aufenthalt nicht zufriedenstellend. Die WC-Spülung funktionierte kaum und die Reception am Abend konnte bei Problemen praktisch nicht weiterhelfen. Das Hotel wirkt insgesamt nicht mehr im besten Zustand. Ausserhalb des Zimmer sind die Hotelräumlichleiten sehr kalt. Ich würde dieses Hotel daher nicht nochmals wählen.

Der Parklplatz war draussen direkt vor dem Hotel. Eine Sichere Gegend kann man sich nicht vorstellen, denn neben dem Hotel ist direkt der Polizeipräsidium. 😅

Die Zimmer sind sauber, Frühstück hatteb wir nicht dabei. Unser Flug ging ziemlich früh.

En rigtig god oplevelse

Vi havde en enkelt overnatning fra lørdag til søndag før Danmark-Slovenien. Et rigtig fint hotelværelse med gode senge, bad og toilet faciliteter og rolig atmosfære.
Vi vidste på forhånd, at der lå en lufthavn i nærheden, så den tæller hverken op eller ned i bedømmelsen.
Det var en rigtig lækker morgenbuffet.

Das Hotel war klein. Es hat innen alles ausgereicht. Draußen war leider nur eine kleine Terrasse. Zum Glück wurden die Sonnenschirm, auf Nachfrage noch aufgespannt.
