We stayed here for a week while on a trip to Stuttgart. t the hotel is located fairly close to the airport yet far enough away so as not to be bothered by the continual sounds of air traffic. It is positioned close to highways 27 and 8 (two primary roads to get you across the city). Although there isn’t much close to the hotel by way of food and shopping that is walkable except a Lidl (grocery) and a cafe, there is a lot of options within a short drive. The room was comfortable and the breakfast exceptional (although a bit pricey) and the staff very attentive. I would stay here again!

The Hotel is convenient because it is close to the airport. Only meal offered is breakfast. There is a catch with parking: it is free to park on the spots outside, but when you enter the garage it is EUR 17. There is a sign, but you cant see it in the dark.

I didn't stay at this hotel as my flight to Stuttgart on 19/07/24 was cancelled due to the global IT outage. Nevertheless, Expedia keeps sending me emails about leaving a review so I am doing so to put an end to those. Clearly, I can't give an honest appraisal of this hotel having never been there - so went 3* all the way.

The Good: The Staff, especially in the bar, were exceptionally professional, helpful, and, most of all friendly.
The Okay: The room wasn't particularly spacious, and the only place to sit was one rather uncomfortable chair at the desk...or on the bed.
The Odd: No shower door. You had to be very careful not to get water all over the toilet, and you had a puddle of water outside the shower when you were finished, no matter what.
The Bad: Without notice, and despite the \"do not disturb sign,\" the staff (and/or contractors) entered the room to replace the mattress (n.b., the old mattress was quite comfortable, the new one seemed different, due to a pillowtop, but not actually better). What if I'd had evidence of the Kennedy assassination lying about? A very disturbing invasion of privacy...in the process, they partially cleaned, but it was incomplete and what they did and didn't clean seemed random. For example, they took the used water glass, but didn't replace it...
The Warning: There's a bad grocery store a block away, but no restaurants nearby. You have to take the train or bus to eat anywhere but in the hotel (and the menu is good, but limited). Recommendation: Kashmir, an Indian restaurant, in Echterdingen is excellent, and a reasonable walk from the nearest stop on the U-6.
The life hack: In Germany, Sunday is a true day of rest. Nothing other than hotels and restaurants will be open. But this hotel is convenient to the airport, with its 24/7 Edeka.

Very clean and comfortable. We chose this hotel because of the proximity of the airport, our flight was early morning. We got a shuttle bus to go to the hotel, 7 minutes running, but there was no shuttle bus early in the morning, at 5 am to the airport. So we got a taxi. It was just one night, not too much to review as we did not get either breakfast.

This is absolutely not a 4 star hotel. Twin rooms are very small, The duvet and pillow were extremely uncomfortable the worst.

Very easy to get to centre of town. Everything was nice about the hotel except for the coffee maker. I don't mean to be picky, but I was uncomfortable using it because it was very loud and I didn't want to wake others. I could also hear someone else use the coffee maker (a nepresso type machine). Great Hotel Outside of Stuttgart
The hotel was just off the motorway in the outskirts of Stuttgart, so it was easy to reach when coming by car. There is a paid garage, but it was quite expensive. We decided to park on the street instead. There are a couple of empty slots around the hotel and in the empty parking lot off to the side. There is also a U-Bahn stop just 100 meters away from the hotel where you can catch the tram to Stuttgart every 10 minutes.
The rooms are quite spacious, newly furnished, and with comfortable pillows and beddings. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. The water pressure is not that strong, and it was difficult to set the temperature to warm. It was either very warm / hot or cold.
Breakfast was quite okay, with a wide selection of bread, fruit, warm dishes, cold cuts, and cheese. The only letdown was the juice bar, where it seemed that the orange and multifruit juices were not that fresh.

Hotel was clean and modern however in business district 25 minutes from Stuttgart main station and not near airport as advertised. It was 2 min walk to Ubahn station U6 and close to Lidil supermarket. We struggled to work out how to use ticket machines and ended up buying best guess type but were never challenged or approached by ticket inspectors.Staff at hotel were friendly and gave us extra towels when requested by us.

This was a fairly nice hotel a few minutes from the airport. It has a nice looking restaurant (I didn't eat at it because the breakfast seemed a little expensive at 19 euro a day) and a bar. Nearby is a u-bahn stop that is half an hour drive to the city center. It also has a shuttle to the airport that runs every half hour.

The only negative was that the wifi was relatively weak and I couldn't log on with either my phone or tablet. Only my laptop was able to connect.

we used the hotel as our base to travel around the area. EnBW city train station is opposite the hotel and was easy to use. Easy to to get to central Stuttgart hauptbahnhop. We had great days out in Ludwigsberg, Tubingen and Esslingen as well as Stuttgart. The wine festival was great. For those who didn't want the breakfast there is a Lidl around the corner for snacks. The hotel bar was pleasant to have a drink in the evening. The hotel staff were really polite and helpful. Overall a great time was had by the whole family.

This was one of two Mercure Hotels that we stayed at. They seem to be tucked away in out of the way places so don't expect great views. However room was excellent and we wanted to take the beds and pillows home. Room was large and well equipped. It was also very clean. Breakfast choice was good but the female member of staff on reception duty only spoke German and was a bit fearsome - giving us looks because we hadn't booked breakfast. Other restaurant staff spoke English and seemed friendlier. When we booked in, receptionist was kind enough to come outside and guide me to safe parking.He couldn't have been more helpful. Daughter complained that hot choc in room was very watery! On the whole would be more than happy to stay there again.

Great hotel near the airport. The staff were very helpful with airport transfers; we had to go twice as we had to return our rental car. Breakfast was great, very plentiful and good quality, maybe a bit too plentiful as it was a bit expensive. The room was very good and spacious for the four of us, just a bit dark as there was only one small window.

My son and I stayed in Stuttgart Messe. The hotel was very nice but we had a few things to say: 1. I booked two single beds, we got one queen size bed. It was not that great deal but my son is not so small any more and it would be nice to have two beds. 2. The sink in ithe bathroom was not working. 3. Breakfast was free for my son and I paid 18 Euros. It was a great buffet breakfast.

the exhibition center is close
the convenience of the location close to the Stuttgart airport and exhibition center does not justify the prices of room, garage and restaurant. The hotel was worn out and need a complete renewal. The furniture, bathroom equipment and all carpets appeared overused and dirty. The only reason to come back to this place was the extremely friendly and helpful personnel. For the exhibition next year, I will find another place to stay.

The Mecure Hotel in Stuttgart was a good place to stay. The room and decor is above average, but the staff and \"extras\" were GREAT! The information desk staff helped me with free WIFI, free shuttle to the airport and the restaurant/bar was great.

Charge extra for parking. Took 50 mins for the free hotel shuttle to pick-up from the airport. Service in the resturant was poor as not enough staff were available for the number of guests. Food was average. TV did not work properly. Overall the hotel was adequate.

I stayed with my family while travelling to and from Italy over the Christmas holidays. Our first stay on 21st December we had standard rooms which were nice, clean and a good size. Our second stay on 27th December we had been upgraded to superior rooms which I have to say were very nice, they were the same size as standard but were furnished to a much higher standard.
The staff were friendly, the only thing we found with the hotel was there wasn't much choice of food and what there was, was expensive. And there wasn't anywhere to eat within walking distance, not a problem if you have Satnav. Also don't park in the hotel carpark as it is 15 euro's per night park on the road it's free! Enjoyable stay.

We had a long flight from Canada via London so found this hotel very convenient especially with the free airport transfer. Next day we were headed to the train station and found that easy and reasonable to achieve (with the help of the staff) via metro tram. Good location all around.

The hotel is actually about 3 miles from the airport, the shuttle runs until 9.30 pm only... The rooms are OK, breakfast is abundant - paper cups for takeaway coffee a great plus.
The transfer runs every 30 minutes to the airport - driver does not wait 1 minute even if you are \"on the list\".

I needed an overnight stay for an early flight next morning from Stuttgart Airport, and for that purpose the hotel worked out fine. The reception was nice, and service was prompt and courteous. The room itself left much to be desired. The sink was cracked! I chose Mercure because I've been pleased with other locations in the past. Sadly, this is not one of their best.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night after arriving at the airport in Stuttgart. It's close to the airport, payed about 12 Euro for taxi from the airport to the hotel. The hotel needs to be renovated. Breakfast was not included, was an extra 17 Euro per person, we did not have breakfast at the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.

Very far away, not easy to travel to the downtown or back, on Sunday the bus passes every hour, no hair dryer, air conditioner was broken during the whole stay (they supposedly fixed it). If you ask for information they miss inform you, as good Germans they never wait for you to finish the question. We asked for items to shower since some days they simply forgot to put them and it took them more than half an hour to bring just shampoo.

We stayed here based on other reviews that stated that it was in a great location. I couldn't have been more disappointed with this aspect. It is located in an industrial area with no food or shopping within walking distance. Trying to get to this Hotel from the Stuttgart Hfb is a MAJOR ordeal involving multiple trains, buses, and even taxis. This Hotel is in a location with poor access. You will not direct access to U-Bahn trains to get to it and to the airport. Also, their airport shuttle has limited hours on the weekends and at night (this was a surpise to us). Prepare to spend your cash on Taxi fares.
