Everything was great! Underground parking pops up right in the building and it was close to many things that were walkable. The only hiccup we had was that something happened to our electrical sockets on the last evening and we only had power in the bathroom. It wasn’t a big deal because we were leaving in the morning.

Pros and Cons - Might Stay Here Again

Staff was excellent.
We booked this place for its location, price, and amenities. Specifically, we wanted Internet and laundry. Both were disappointing. Wi-fi was weak in our room, though good in the hallway, lounge, and lobby areas.There’s only one washer/dryer which we couldn’t use because the water supply hose leaked profusely. The in-room safe did not work. Staff will report problems to maintenance. We were there two nights, and didn’t have time to recheck the laundry room. Comfortable bed, great shower, functional small kitchen, though no hand towels nor paper towels, no disposable food storage supplies (plastic wrap, foil). Spacious, large window that opens, switch operated blackout shutter. Very strong positive is the staff!

Nice hotel but the gym has no air conditioning and the pull up bar above a radiator (you hit your knees if you use it)

The hotel was nice. Easy walking to some shops, restaurants etc. AC worked only if the window was closed. Hair dryer did not work. Otherwise it was an uneventful stay with no complaints, except on day of check out the housekeeping man kept knocking on our door and acting irritated and with attitude when I told them we were checking out at 12 pm (the hotel’s check out time). We ended up leaving an hour earlier because of his attitude kicking us out.

Highly recommend place if you want stay near market area as well as train station. Train station is like 10 min walk from this place. The hotel was clean and has unique sleek design. Did not have microwave or fridge in the room (May be it a bit different than what we usually see in the USA). Check in and check out was smooth. The staff was fluent in English and was very friendly. Shuttle service is also available upon request.

I stayed here just under three weeks and prior to making my reservation I intentionally contacted the hotel management to request a room with a bath tub (apparently there are two rooms equipped with tubs). I was assured in writing that I would have one of these rooms for my 3 week stay. ONE DAY prior to my arrival I received an email saying sorry but they would not be able to accommodate my request after all. Too late to cancel my reservation and make other arrangements of course. Once I checked into the hotel I was handed a sheet of \"Covid rules\" for the guests to follow. Fair enough. However, it did not take me long to see that these \"rules\" were selectively enforced. It's important to note that right across the street from the hotel is the Mercedes Benz training center. Therefore most of the guests at the hotel are Mercedes employees and it is basically their hotel. So while Covid rules etc apply to regular guests, if you work for Mercedes you have run of the place and can do what you want; no social distancing, no single elevator limits, no masks, bar/restaurant open for you etc. I witnessed this daily during my stay and I have no doubt that my room with the bathtub that I had been promised went to one of these Mercedes Benz guests. Another point they do not tell you and neither does Expedia is that due to Covid the hotel staff departs at 5pm Mon-Fri and then all weekend. You as a guest are on your own in the evening and until Mon morning!

This is my first time actually staying at the Mo, but my company has had several events there. The service has always been excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable, the fitness center is pretty good, and the restaurant is delicious. Easy walk to S-bahn Vaihingen. Highly recommend the Mo!

Air conditioner didn’t blow cool air, the safe failed and they had to drill it open and then they never cleaned up the shavings. They also tried to charge me for breakfast even though I did not book that or eat any breakfast. Then would not provide a receipt at checkout and service was rude.

We did not know till we arrived that the hotel was under construction. There was scaffolding outside our window with men walking around.
The outside window shades are controlled by the hotel. We did not appreciate the shades being opened and closed unexpectedly, especially with men walking outside our windows.

When I arrived at the hotel, there were two people working, and there was a lady discussing some kind of billing issue. Both of the hotel attendants continued to only talk to the lady while I was waiting for about 15 minutes to check-in, at which point I politely asked \"Can you explain the procedure to check-in here\", and then finally one of the employees allowed me to check in. You would think that they would prioritise a 30 second check-in when they have 2 people working, as opposed to both attending to the same person.

The internet is by far the worst that I have experienced in any hotel. Almost unusable.

Dear Expedia, I have no difficulty recommending this hotel to your customers. However, an error has occurred which I did not notice on checkout. We stayed at the hotel a total of 4 nights, 21, 22, 23, 24 March. When checking out I paid the bill for our breakfasts. I knew this to be 14 euros pp. On 22 March, we were joined for breakfast by our son and his young family for breakfast. That day I signed the bill for 34 euros which was perfectly acceptable. On checking our account printed after payment, I notice we have been charged for breakfast on 5 days. We did not have breakfast on 21 March as we only arrived there late in the evening. Please advise how we may be credited 28 euros which we have been overcharged.

The Mo is a nice hotel in a great area. The hotel is not ultra modern, but has everything required for a comfortable stay. And the location! Everything is within a very short walking distance. Parking is easy and convenient - spaces are kind of large for Europe. About the only real weakness is the internet is a little spotty. Aside form that, it's all good.

Stuttgart - Cannstatter Volksfest (Oktoberfest)

Visited Stuttgart for the 2nd largest Oktoberfest in Germany - Cannstatter Volksfest. The hotel was central to connecting metro station and made it easy for us to visit and return from the event for two (2) days. Area restaurants were available to us. Plus the ease to drive in and out of the city made it an enjoyable experience.

Nice rooms, bad internet (constantly having to log in again, and slow speed). Overall, a bit pricey in my opinion - normally get our corporate rate but at the hotels.com price point (arond €40 more expensive) I would not book this again.

We arrived and wanted cocktails from the menu unfortunately the person behind the bar couldn't make them so that was disappointing plus the measures of baileys are tiny so it cost us €26 for 2 small baileys. Dinner in the hotel was nice. Room was comfortable and quiet. We had to ask for a kettle for the room, we made coffee in the room but the cleaner did not remove the dirty cups. the beds were comfy. The location was great.

This is a very clean hotel with a very accommodating staff. Its in a nice residential but next door to plenty of restaurant and a mall. Train station is a 5 minute walk which can take you into Stuttgart Center for 3 Euros.

My second extended hotel stay in Stuttgart for business, I did enjoy how conveniently located the hotel was. That was about the extent of my enjoyment, unfortunately. Weekly parking rates are a bit outrageous, but that's Germany for you. There were some nice things about the hotel, so I'll mention those first:
*Decent complimentary WiFi
*Great location in Vaihingen, just a short walk to the train station if you want to get out and not drive
*Hotel restaurant is good, and service in the restaurant was always attentive and friendly
*The hotel seems makes an effort to be reasonably accommodating for guests, including being pet friendly

Now for the not so great\"
*Uncomfortable beds
*WiFi went down, hotel seemed to be indifferent. Not a terrible issue, unless you are trying to accomplish work from the hotel like I was. Internet was down for 3 days before it was fixed.
*Not the quietest hotel. To be fair, I'm not going to hold the hotel responsible for ill-mannered guests. I will hold them responsible for not policing guests a little.
*The staff were a mixed group, some were extremely helpful, some didn't really seem like they cared about having a job tomorrow. Not something that concerns me, unless I'm waiting on one of them to unlock the entrance while I wait in the parking garage entrance

For a bit more, price wise, you can go a few blocks down to the Pullman, which is a much nicer, quiet and slightly nicer hotel, or find a temp apartment. I don't recommend this hotel.

Watch your step!

Accessing the free WiFi was a huge hassle. Rather than simply letting guests log in using their name and room number, you have to get a separate ticket at the front desk for each device you wish to use. If you leave the building or the network drops you for some reason, it doesn't remember your device, and you have to log in with the ticket again. Oh, and the staff didn't tell me the tickets they gave me were good for only one day. Wehn mine expired at 9 pm, they made me come all the way downstairs to the front desk to get new ones.

One place the WiFi doesn't work is the elevators ... which was quite frustrating when I got stuck there for almost half an hour my first night at the hotel. The staff had to call a technician to come get me out, but otherwise showed no concern for my welfare or accommodations for my inconvenience. For the rest of my stay, I used the stairs to my 3rd-floor room.

I will never stay at this hotel again.

The Hotel is in a great location in the city. It is very clean and the service is great. The room was disappointing. It has no refrigerator to keep food. The towels were very small, even the shower towels. There was no shampoo or wash cloths. I would expect better amenities in the room from a 4 star hotel.

Good luck to anyone attempting to drive to this \"motel\". First - it's located in a pedestrian only walkway. Circled the block 4 times before we figured that one out. Second - parking is not in the garage accessed under the hotel building, that would be the 'Mercedes training facility' parkade. Ironically the hotel's parking is instead accessed from the garage under the Mercedes training facility across the street. That one took another 12 laps.

Entry signage - microscopic or non-existent.

This is a 'Mo-tel' that gives every impression they're trying to keep motor customers out!

A pleasant hotel in the main high st my room was facing the back so noise from the main road was not an issue.
The room was of a decent size and comfortable with all amenities although the tv was on the small size !
One thing I would say is the bedroom doors slamming at night did keep me awake and and I had to resort to earplugs !
The hotel should look into a solution to fix this as it did spoil a otherwise enjoyable stay

The most amazing view

This hotel was a great find, close to train station, but the view of the mountains were spectacular. Staff was great and the spa on the top floor was beautiful, same amazing views. The saunas were not separate for men and women so my husband and I could enjoy it together. Highly recommend this hotel in Innsbruck.

Stayed for 3 nights on business trip from Singapore. Modern, quiet hotel with a reasonable gym. Breakfast has reasonably good spread. Just 5~7 mins stroll to Vaihingen train station. Hotel situated adjacent to a shopping mall. Some eateries around the hotel. A supermarket located 200m from hotel. If you're on a taxi or driving a car, look out for the hotel signboard as it is not very prominently displayed. Front office staff are friendly, speak English which is helpful in Germany for non-German speaking travellers.

The hotel feels unnecessarily modern - design has good looks but lacks comfort. The hotel is encased in glass which raises the temperature in the common areas. Room has too many unnecessary corners and features that have no practical value. We stayed with kids - bad idea especially if the kids are small like ours. Too many sharp objects, coffee maker near bed that a small baby could easily reach Expensive breakfast (we did not take it) but the mall next door has decent cafes.

Modern and efficient

While relocating to Stuttgart, I stayed in the MO.Hotel for almost 30 days. It is exactly as advertised, a medium sized, modern hotel. I inadvertently, reserved a room without a refridgerator, but the on site and nearby amenities were sufficient for my needs.

The restaurant is good, there are a number of others within less than 5 minutes walk and should you have a room with a refridgerator there are several grocers, bakeries, etc. very close by. The Bus and Street car stations are very close by as well.

The hotel is very clean and constantly maintained. I would not recommend it for most families as it is not \"homey\", but for a business traveller it is efficient, located very near Patch Barracks and surrounded with options for walking, running or other activities.

My only suggestion would be to bring a pillow from home if you are particular about the softness/firmness, the hotel's are VERY soft.

My room was on one of the interior \"courtyard\" spaces and very quiet. There is a large apartment complex being built adjacent, but I heard no construction noise except in the lobby which opens onto a shared courtyard space.

Great hotel for a business stay.

Very friendly staff and went out of their way to help us. We were here for a wedding and they even allowed us to check out late on the final day of our stay.

On the downside - breakfast at £20 was a bit steep - no ironing facilities! It did give the feel of a business hotel rather than a cozy hotel to take your family.

OK but not quite what it seems

the hotel, price wise, is good if you dont want breakfast or internet for a standard room. hotel only offered business package when a guest requires internet and the package costs 40 Euro extra on top of the standard room price. if a deluxe room is booked then, internet is included, but hotels.com does not mention this. so when arriving at the hotel, a suprise of 40 euro awaits. when i arrived, the air conditioner did not work, the work desk was dusty and the coffee and tea station looked like it was not cleaned for about a few weeks. there are other hotels in the area that offer more and cost the same or less.

Horrible hotel for children, uncomfortable stay.

First off the hotel is not meant for those with young children. Way too many sharp corners and edges in the rooms. Uncomfortable, overly warm even with the AC running and the center of the hotel lobby and stairs feels like a suana as it is all glassed in. The hotel was a fiarly decent price for the room but everything else was outrageous. 25 euro for 2 drinks and 2 very small apple juices for our kids. The room didnt even have that clean smell to it. The beds were uncomfortable. The entire stay was miserable and the staff with the exception of one gentlemen working in the bar was rude and even less helpful. Wanted to leave an hour after we got there. Would never stay here again and would not reccomend this to anyone.

Excellent hotel for a pleasant stay in Stuttgart

Mo.Hotel is a very nice hotel near interesting visit points in Stuttgart. we had a very pleasant time at the Mo.Hotel.

Mo.Hotel - Good for business travel!

We were very pleased with our accommodations at the Mo.Hotel in Vaihingen Stuttgart. They were able to get us into the room early. When I inquired about internet access (a business necessary) the front desk explained about the daily fee (which was very expensive). She suggested that we purchase a TMobile 30-day plan which would definitely save us a lot of moeny. She even switched our room so that we would have good access/signal to the TMobile network (apparently not all rooms have access).

The only other expensive nuisance was the daily parking fee of 17 Euros.

We did not use the restaurant for any of our meals (due to the price) but were happy with food choices nearby, specifically around SchwabenGalerie.

We would definitely stay again.

Great Business home away from home

Friendly, helpful attentive staff. Stayed at hotel and did a training seminar for 22 people. Could not have picked a better location. Superb service at a good price. Hotel restaurant was excellent. Great location in Vaihingen.

Not impressed

Modern business hotel. No wifi internet in rooom. Wired internet did not work. 15 Euro fee to use wifi in reception. Totally unacceptable as I needed to make skype video conference and deal with emails. Room also not cleaned on fiorst day of my two night stay. Find somewhere better!
