Very good with room for easy improvements

Excellent hotel with a great staff and superior food! The hotel could excel further with a few easy improvements. There are no drawers, only a couple shelves to place clothes (see pic), and this was the issue we had when we were here with full family 5+ yrs ago. Toilet paper and towels are low quality, which is odd for a top line hotel. Also parking is 25 euros per day, which is absurd, as street parking is 3 min walk away. Great breakfast though!

Nice stay

Nice stay at the Marriott. Hotel is very stylish and room was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Only issue was they did two pending charges on my credit card for one night stay. The first they informed me of at check in. The second I noticed the next morning. Front desk couldn’t explain why, but promised it would drop off my credit card. Seems a bit too much.

Nice hotel, but a little far out if you want to be near downtown Stuttgart. It’s a 20 min walk to the train station from the hotel. The hotel had a broken drain pipe that impacted ability to use water for almost two days.

A decent clean hotel at a very premium price

The hotel is as good as it gets in the area, but honestly isn’t the most up-to-date nor does it have big rooms. The target audience is business travelers (as I was) who need a clean decent place to stay. The garage parking is a nightmare the later you get in the evening as it gets overpacked and you end up waiting 20+ min for parking (as I did one of the evenings)

Nice hotel. Although going through some lobby remodeling, the staff did everything they could to keep operations running smoothly. I arrived early expecting to be told my room wasn't ready, but they surprised me and checked me right in. The hotel staff was very friendly and was always there to answer any questions. The hotel is within walking distance of great restaurants there in the Sindelfingen area. This was my second stay at this hotel and I will use them again.

This hotel is currently undergoing renovation. Construction noise constant. Rooms dimly lit. Parking over 500 meters away. This hotel should not now be in operation. It is unsatisfactory in every dimension except the politeness of the staff.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was not very good for the cost. Ordered the burger which was raw, the rest of the meal was bland! For the price I would have expected much better food. The $23 a day for breakfast was not worth it! I think I will look somewhere els to eat and stay next visit!

Great place to stay just near Stuttgart

We enjoyed our one night stay in this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. There is not much to do nearby, but you can walk to the city center in about 10-15 minutes to find some great restaurants.

We stayed overnight to go to the Stuttgart Beerfest. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in giving directions. We took a 16€ cab ride to the closest station on the way to the fest. On the way back we walked about 20 minutes back from the train station using our GPS on our phone. Our rooms were modern, comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious with omelette station and waffles made to order.

Rude staff to greet you and to say bye to you at the reception, misleading information, be prepared to receive big surprises in your bill at checkout, we were charged for breakfast though staff in morning, at check in and expedia said it is free, place is away from public transport, staff will again mislead you regarding how far it is. Room thermostat doesn't work. Utter Chaos and to top that, no one will tell you that construction is in full swing.

Improving but still charging for WIFI

The hotel is undergoing a long overdue refurbishing. What a pity they chose to provide carpeting, with all of its chemical odours. The property is looking better, but still does not provide alternative pillows and additional charges apply for WIFI access from your room. I guess Marriott and Hilton are the last hotels on earth to still charge for this basic service. Time for them to wake up or we will just go somewhere else.

Construction vs. sleep: Construction wins.

Marriott is usually a great place to land during the day, grab a nap, and do your business. Not this time because the construction is via hammer-drills with medium rpm whirring and minor banging. The noise and vibration penetrate the walls so even a room change won't work. The construction hours are between 8 and 5 so only day-time is an issue. Hence if you plan on using your room for an office, it won't work. Other than that, all is well.

Best service !

Best hotel in Stuttgart. Very good service, and super efficiency! Our request for addition of child's bed was done speedily.
Mattress and bedsheets were very comfortable. Felt like our Simmons at home.
Breakfast was good.
We tried beef steak at their steak house- simply delicious.

It really is not something worh the money this hote.
They wanted 28 EUR for breakfast and another 28E for parking. Already paid 150EUR for me and my son and i was hoping they include these amenities in the price.
You can find better hotels in this area with the money they ask. Dissapointed!

Didn't spend much time at the hotel

We stayed at this hotel the night of visiting the Stuttgart Volksfest (their version of Oktoberfest). It wasn't close to the event but the friend I was traveling with is a Platinum member and got the room for he and his wife for free. The hotel was what you would expect from any other Marriott. It's comfortable, clean, usually in good shape. So it's nice having consistency all over the world.

Although the hotel was built in 1985 and retains much of this era's fixtures, it has been kept clean and up-to-date. Prior complaints about the we-fi being outdated are now remedied (except for the 12 Euro fee). Dinner was a tad expensive, but also delicious. Staff were very helpful and courteous.

Initial staff was very accomodating, but then a change of staff with not continuity, so previous requests were not followed up. The night staff was rude. No night lights on an inside room, so you either had lights blaring while you slept, or could not find your way around. \make sure you get the name of anyone who provides service!! Others will claim you did not make the request!

Exceptional staff, facility needs renovation

The best thing was the exceptionally accomodating staff, from desk personnel to housekeeping, with the security and predictability of the Marriott brand. The downside is that the hotel needs a refreshening upgrade. The climate control was limited to either slow fan or slower fan, but the A/C was effective on three very hot days. The gym is very small and the equipment is aging. The hotel's location is on a busy thoroughfare away from the town center, but that affords quick access to the autoroutes to Stuttgart and the airport. There isn't much charming about the hotel or its location, but it's quite utilitarian and efficient, and the staff are very pleasant and competent.

Typical Marriot - Be Prepared to Pay for Extras

Great staff. Clean. But, as a typical Marriot charges for all additional services. One must pay for wi-fi in the room (poor connection), or even to use the computers in the business office (printing costs extra!). Oh, don't forget $15 a day for parking fee. This wouldn't stop me staying again, its just frustrating that Marriot charges for this when I stay in plenty of hotels where it is complementary. Get with the program Marriot, and quit taking advantage of your customers.

The Marriott Stuttgart Sindelfingen was a pleasure to stay in. The staff top notch, the room big and comfortable and there were plenty of dining options to choose from inside the hotel which is good because the foot of snow that fell the night I checked in closed everything down. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Sehr schönes Hotel, wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer eher klein und haben keinen Schreibtisch, sind aber geschmackvoll, praktisch und makellos sauber. Alle Mitarbeiter*innen waren sehr freundlich und äußerst bemüht um das Wohlergehen der Gäste. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns auch der Schwimmbadbereich / Gym.
Das Hotel ist gut erreichbar, aber trotz der Umgebung leise.

Ich war nicht ganz zufrieden da unter anderen für das Wlan bezahlt werden muss ausser wenn man nur ein schwaches internet haben möchte was für streaming oder zoom nicht gereicht hat, hätte man mitglied werden können und wenigstens mit whatsapp oä verbinden konnte. dann parkplatz 25 euro pro tag ist bei dem zimmerpreisen ohne frühstück für mich absolut überteuert. ich hatte am ersten tag beim sehr schönen resatuerant ein thunfischsteack mit schöner anmachung allerdings nach einer stunde starke magenprobleme 2 tage lang was mir bis jetzt noch nie passiert ist. die herren und damen an der rezeption waren allerdings super freundlich achso ja parkplatz automat war defekt und selbst wenn man nur 3 stunden in der garage war, wurde irgendwie bei meinem partner trotzdem jedes mal die tagespauschale abgebucht was er erst nach der abreise feststellte und hofft das die 100 hinterlegten euro noch zuzrück kommen

UNA DELLE ESPERIENZE PEGGIORI DELLA MIA VITA IN HOTEL. Accoglienza pessima e maleducata nei nostri confronti senza motivo. Costi spropositati per qualsiasi cosa: 8€ per una bottiglietta d'acqua!!!
E a fine soggiorno, come se non bastasse, mi hanno tolto un sacco di soldi dalla carta, senza avvertire e senza darmi una ricevuta, tant'è che l'ho scoperto al mio ritorno a casa.

Leider entspricht dieses Hotel keineswegs den 4,5 Sternen.
Vor Ort erhalten Sie wenig Infos, allerdings drückt man Ihnen ein Formularen die Hand wo man vor Ort erfährt, dass die Tiefgarage bis März 2018 umgebaut wird.
Der angebotene Parkplatz ist für eine alleinstehende Frau zu weit entfernt.
Auch stellt man vor Ort fest, dass im Wellnessbereich umgebaut wird.
Die Sauna soll ab 17 Uhr gehen, leider war diese um 18 Uhr immer noch kalt.
Somit bin ich zum TV übergegangen. Dort kam dann kein Signal und es gab keine Info im Zimmer.
Nach Rückfrage bei der Rezeption gab es zur Zeit kein 1 + 2 Program!!!

Das Frühstück entspricht einem 3 Sterne Hotel.
Die Zimmerkarte mußte jeden Tag neu kodiert werden und ich mußte jedesmal wieder runter zur Rezeption.
Rund um ... dieses Hotel ist keinesfalls weiter zu empfehlen!!!!

Sehr ruhiges Hotel mit top Verkehrsanbindung

Vom äußeren Schein (schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen) nicht trügen lassen. Innen sehr modern. Zuvorkommendes Personal welche entstandene Probleme sofort gelöst haben. Hotel Lüftung, auch bei abgeschaltetem Zustand bei Nacht zu sehr hörbar (wenn dies als störend empfunden wird)

wifiでのトラブル

wifiを使おうとしたところ、有料のものしか表示がなかったため、受付に確認したところ、料金に含まれていると言われたため使用しました。しかし、会計時に請求され、受付とのやり取りを話したが聞く耳を持たれなかった。同じランクのホテルでは今まで最低の対応でした。

Nice hotel with a smile

Nice facility for any kind of trips.
There was a miscommunication about our booking between hotels.com and the hotel, but the front office manager solved the issue very smoothly with a smile.
We had a pleasant stay after all.

Marriott er ikke samme standard i alle lande

Udmærket hotel, men bestemt ikke samme standard som Marriott i København.Men værelserne var godt indrettet og rene. Der manglede intet og personalet var flinke. Til morgenmad stod der en kok og lavede det man gerne ville have.
