Rude staff, bad AC, isssue with hotels.com reserva
Worst stay ever, staff was really rude at check in, I had a reservation with hotels.com with 2 rooms and they could not find it, I had to tell the guy how to search my name in its outlook mail to find both rooms, he kept telling me its because I did not reserve direct that I had this issue, saying hotels.con was the issue. AC did not work they said it was not broken but it was a “green”AC. Again very rude staff, it feels like when you reserve with Hotels.con multiple rooms you have to fight with the staff to get both rooms, the transfer of information does jot seem optimal.

The manager was extremely nice to me. I don't remember his name but i know he is from Gambia. He made sure my needs were met and was very professional. Other staff were also very nice. Check-in was super easy as well. The only issue i had was, there was no telephone in the room, room service did not come the next day and sometimes it was a little bit difficult to express myself considering I can't speak Deutsch. Surroundings were not all that great. I would consider sleeping there again due to the staff's hospitality.

So etwas habe ich ehrlich gesagt noch nie erlebt: Keine Tische oder eine nutzbare Ablage im Standardzimmer. Ich hätte wohl beim Check-in nach einem Zimmer mit Tisch fragen sollen, vielleicht hätte ich dann ein Upgrade oder Klapptisch bekommen, keine Ahnung. Aber auf dem winzigen Wandboard, das eher an einen Katzentisch erinnert, kann man weder vernünftig arbeiten noch Unterlagen ablegen. So habe ich am Notebook gearbeitet, so gut es eben ging :-/ In dieser Form ist das Zimmer für Geschäftsreisende jedenfalls nicht praktikabel und für mich ein absolutes No-Go. Abgesehen vom fehlenden Tisch im Standardzimmer ist das Hotel ansonsten wirklich erstklassig.

Personal am CheckIn tut sich mit dem Programm noch etwas schwer, Rechnung gibts erst am Abreisetag (ist verkraftbar). Firmenadresse muss bei jedem Aufenthalt aufs Neue angegeben werden… das neue System… so die Auskunft vom Mitarbeiter…

Check Inn wird kontinuierlich besser. Die Rechnung bekommt man seit Kurzem aber erst beim Check Out am nächsten Tag. Ggf. Zeit einkalkulieren. Im Zimmer lief das Wasser des Waschbeckens nur sehr langsam ab, das war aber auch das einzige kleine Manko. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt wieder (nach dem Höhenflug zwischen Sommer 2023 und Frühjahr 2024).

Wie immer… wenn ich in Sindelfingen bin, ist das Niu das Hotel meiner Wahl. Preis-/Leistung stimmt. Man bekommt ein modernes Zimmer - wobei es in letzter Zeit ein wenig teuerer geworden ist und Stammgäste-/Mietglieder Vorteile verloren haben. Ich hoffe, es bleibt so oder wird wieder attraktiver.
