For a 4 Stat Hotel with a Motor Themed background, you would think it would cater much better for their guests who stay there and have driven to the hotel. The Hotels parking is underground, not a great real amount of spaces when you consider the number of rooms. Additionally you have to pay for the privilege of parking their too and its not cheap. At their nightly room rates you would think hotel guests can park free. One night the Underground Car Park was so full, it was almost impossible to park my expensive car in a space where I could get in easily, or being in a vulnerable space. So I parked in the Staff spaces on the exterior area. I did inform the hotel what Id done, and why. Other options on parking are extremely limited to Street Parking with Coin Operated Meters. Not ideal when you then have to get up early to re-feed a Parking Meter. Not impressed with the parking situation.

Stayed in one of the theme bedroom, the room was huge! Celebrated my partners 30th birthday, we were left balloons, chocolates and wine to celebrate which was a lovely touch and made it felt even more special. This is the second motorworld hotel which we’ve stayed it, they’re a great hotel brand and would highly recommend staying. Only a 5 minute walk to the train station, plenty of parking and options to eat out within a few minutes walk.

Petrolhead heaven

We enjoyed our stay as a family of four. The cars in and around the hotel were amazing! The room was clean and comfortable and we loved the special touches like the car shaped soap and pens. The staff checking us in at reception were really friendly and happy to answer any questions we had around parking, local eateries etc. A visit to the spa facilities on the top floor was very relaxing and enjoyable. The only thing that would’ve topped the room off would have been a coffee machine in the room, as there was only tea available in the room.

If you like cars you’ll like it here. We had a themed room (Porsche) which was excellent. The hotel location for Motorworld also excellent. Be warned though that there isn’t a huge choice of places to eat and drink in the area and, if like us, you stay on a Sunday then you won’t be able to order food in the hotel either as the kitchen is closed. But for that I’d have given it 5 stars.

The V8 Hotel at Motorworld is a themed hotel, which advertises its rooms with the very pictures from the limited car-themed rooms, which you probably won’t get. Saying that the standard double room was very comfortable, modern air-con, great bar service but the restaurant was closed in the evenings so we had to find other locations which wasn’t hard! Excuse to head out of town to a Beirgarten! There is a steak house around the corner next to the Ferrari dealership!

Fantastic hotel

Fantastic hotel with great access to Motorworld. We stayed as a family of 4 so the interconnecting rooms gave us more than enough space. The only thing that was missing was an in room fridge. We had to use the air con vents to keep milk cool.

The hotel is super cool! Especially if you get a themed room. It was fun looking at all the cars. There is very limited food onsite and what is there isn’t open all hours during the day. Couldn’t get an Uber so hotel had to call a taxi. Taxi’s in Stuttgart are VERY expensive!! Literally 10 cents a second. I have video to prove it. Our 25 minute taxi was 90 euros.

Great staff and rooms were super unique with racing theme. Accessibility to high-end car viewing was amazing.
Hotel was not in a downtown location, but shopping at a mall acrossthe street was limited, but available. A few restaurants were within walking distance as was a rail system taking you into the city. Pastry shops were near and quite lovely.

Super car dealerships in the lobby are pretty cool

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times, my main reason is so that I can drool over the McLaren's, Lamborghini’s, Porsche’s, etc that can be seen in the lobby or parking garage. The restaurant is good and the room has everything you need.

Modern clean themed hotel. Great decor with cars in front lobby. Next to car museum which you can view for free. Parking was 14euros and safe underground. Family room was in fact two connected rooms but each was a bit tight. Two bathrooms which were open to the bedroom. WC had solid door but no basin. Shower was without door and open to one side of bedroom - semi private. Interesting place to stay. 5 mins walk from shopping centre with plenty of eating options - including halal.

The hotel is overall very nice and in an very good location. However, I was surprised to receive an email the next day asking for payment for a cocktail I purchased at the bar. When I checked in why hadn't the front-desk employee asked me for a credit card to cover incidentals or to take a small deposit such as is the standard practice at most hotels? The next day when I received an email via expedia asking for my credit card information I was a bit caught off guard. It is unsafe to enter credit card information in an email The front-desk agent hadn't asked me for a credit card when I checked in. Hence, I was under the impression my financial information was on file. I am more than willing to pay for the $9-$13 bar bill but want to speak with a manager via telephone because I will not enter credit card information in an unsecured email. Overall, the hotel is very nice and is nicely themed and nicely appointed. However, as an area of professional development and to provide enhanced customer service I suggest management and front-desk better coordinate a more efficient manner in which to check-in hotel desk and to secure credit card information for incidentals.

Average hotel in petrol-head's paradise

Sure, this is a great place for petrol-heads. But as a hotel it wasn't very impressive: lots of connecting doors, small rooms and poor housekeeping. Over-priced.

Good stay for Automobiles buff

Love the concept of the hotel and it's an absolute must-stay for Classic Automobiles buffs. Warmly received at reception. Amenities quite complete for a boutique hotel under BW group. Will return again if heading back.

The hotel was just amazing; it was bread-new, therefore very clean and efficient. It was easy to find, being located near the major road. The restaurant was great and the crews were very professional, kind, helfful. The beds were very comfi as well, even the comforters and pillows were great. I highly recommend this hotel those like to travel around Stuttgart and Tuebingen area. Also, not a bad location for those who like to visit Metzingen outlet. I would definitely go back the hotel again as I travel the area. As I checked out, then provided me with bottles of water and cookies, which was very nice.

You need to know there are two V8 Hotels one behind another ( one brand new / one older although it looks new too ) Thefriendly service staff told me where to go ;) A really lovley business hotel and a great breakfast selection.

Great new hotel. Very clean. Fun atmosphere. Friendly staff. Only downfall is area does not have many restaurants around and the hotel does not serve dinner on the weekends. Breakfast is not included as it is at every other hotel we stayed at in Germany and the breakfast was very expensive. Fun hotel for car enthusiasts and I would recommend it.

Excellent hotel with superb staff and service!!!

This hotel is AMAZING! I stayed just last week in early April 2018. V8 Hotel is only two months old and is on par with 5 star places I've stayed in the past. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. The rooms were unbelievably comfortable and clean. The location is perfectly situated for my business needs. The restaurants on site was terrific and served fresh, high quality dishes. Happy hours were fun there, too. Not to mention.... the MILLIONS of dollars in super/luxury cars on the premises. It's a real petrolhead's dream. I walked around admiring the cars every spare moment I had. I will never stay at another hotel in the local area again unless the V8 is sold out. This is coming from an elite, loyal member of a competing chain who uses his points for family vacations...

Hotel comfort in Motor World

Fun hotel in Motor World. Excellent breakfasts. We had interconnecting rooms and struggled with key cards and the doors locking. The showers overflow as they have no lip to catch water on the floor and there is nowhere to put shampoo etc. in the shower. Otherwise this is a great hotel.

Nice new hotel- weird location and room setup

Stayed here because of a promo and while it was a good stay with friendly staff, the physical location’s condition and the room layout make me not recommend it.

The physical location is still a construction zone, and this V8 hotel is behind the original V8 hotel and all their parking is on the original side- this means to get to your car you have to go through the other hotel both when you park and when you retrieve it. Pretty humbug.

The room was new and nice but the good looks also mean very little practicality. The ‘high bar stool’ is useless when you’re trying to relax. The beds are new but hard. The hardwood floor is nice but when it’s cold you’re gonna be freezing because the heating doesn’t work very hard. And the shower was pretty standard for a ‘fancy’ hotel full of decor. They also have huge heavy doors separating the hallways and to get to the elevator- maybe this conserves heat but if you’re travelling with luggage it’s pretty hard to get to your room.

The good points on the room was it was quite spacious and my room was next to the elevators. The in-room coffee and tea was good. Tv was mounted at a good viewing angle. Well lit room.

New hotel still awaiting some completion

A little disappointed to started as the room we request and had confirm was not available. Told to choose another room then that was taken. Many emails backwards and forwards got resolved in the end and the hotel agreed to complementary breakfast. Husband and friends really enjoyed stay and said how friendly the staff where.

Fantastic Classic V8 hotel as previously stayed in with great facilities and service. We were put in the new V8 hotel though, which although the rooms were very comfortable, the hotel wasn't finished so there was work going on throughout the downstairs and on the different floors, making it cold when in the bar area and noisy in the morning with drills etc. We appreciate the work needs to go on and fully believe the final hotel will be amazing but it would have been nice to be told we were going to be staying in a part complete hotel so we expected the interference. If we had been visiting for a special occasion we would not have been very happy at all.
