Outstanding service including fantastic breakfast, spacious and quiet and clean room, 24 hour hot drinking water distribution machine on each floor is definitely a plus that has not been seen in any other hotels. Very central location and convenient access to many historic sites and also train station. Highly recommended for all visiting Tainan!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel is conveniently located near several attractions, including the landmark Hayashi Department store across the street. The hotel facilities are very clean and well maintained. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by a bowl of fresh fruit in our room. Another amenity we liked was the hot & cold water dispenser on our floor.

Perfect location! We walked practically everywhere for food and sightseeing, then we would take a taxi/Uber back at the end of the day, or vice versa.

Restful 4-night stay in our comfy big bed, big room and big bathroom. Daily variety of tasty Taiwanese buffet breakfast and more, including latte/coffee, was superb! The whole hotel was well maintained and clean. All the staff were polite and helpful. We even took a complementary private car/shuttle ride to the train station on the last day.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Fuward Hotel in Tainan. The location, near the National Literature Museum, the Confucian Temple, the Hayashi Department Store, etc., is convenient. Several fine restaurants are near by, and one can easily walk to interesting temples. I found the service to be excellent, and the morning buffet had excellent Chinese-style food. Getting taxis to the high speed rail station and other sites was also easy.

Very easily a 3.5 star hotel, this place is *HIGHLY recommended*. Rooms are large, clean, bathroom is very good and the breakfast selections would satisfy anyone. Staff are fantastic.
The location is excellent: NT$100 or less from the train station and walking distance to all the historic and cultural sights in central Tainan. A little more bit that we usually pay but certainly worth it as value for money .
Free washing machine and dryer use on 3rd & 5th floors was a bonus.
The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the various night markets as well as to Anping Harbour on the weekends. We found the latter very interesting.
Free shuttle bus to the train station at certain times. The 10.50am is useful.

\"Free Parking\" space very limited, no luck for us

We booked this hotel primarily because it says \"free parking\" in its description. But when we got there at 6pm, the parking lot was already full and we had to follow the front desk's instruction to park at a separate commercial building a few blocks away with super tiny slots and paid NT$100. And it's not like we could park there until we check out - the fee we paid was only good until 11am. After that there would be a hourly charge of NT$50. The next morning, we were able to move our car back to the hotel's own lot but was told our car could only stay there until 1pm. We had plans with our friends and planned to leave at around 4pm so we had to come back in the middle to retrieve our car. Maybe not unusual for some but we felt ridiculous and false advertised.

Other than that the hotel itself is pretty neat.

The breakfast restaurant is well managed. There is a good choice of tastely-prepared and well-presented food. The restaurant is very clean and bright. The front desk staff are polite and helpful. The hotel is in an area where there is quite a lot of attractions for the tourist. It is also close to the shopping spots. The gymn. was closed for maintenance during our stay, but the hotel could have at least posted a note telling guests about the closure instead of letting them find out. That said, overall, our stay in the hotel was enjoyable and we would certainly recommend it to our fellow travellers.

This hotel was even nicer than we expected. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location perfect, right across from the very cool Hayashi Department Store. The staff was all very helpful and polite and the breakfast was one of the best we had in Taiwan. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The Hotel was a great stay with good breakfast. Only cons was the neighborhood did not have much public transport and food options. Some walking is required to reach other places of interest and food options but i guess that is the idea of traveling around Tainan.

Clean and reasonable price, wonderful stay

I enjoyed my stay and would definitely reconmend + book again! Very clean and neat, Im very concerned about this and they did a great job. Staffs were very nice and helpful. Location is good enough, nice briber hood and is close to some tourists scene. I really have nothing to complain about my stay!

Good but noisy

Room and location is fine. Breakfast a little poor. But noisy from the hallways and other rooms such as you can hear very clearly when they have the tv on and when someone opens or closes their door.

We arrived early. Some hotels if they can arrange will allow early check in, this was not going to happen here. 3pm check in and that was it. Reception was ok but very hard as not a lot of English spoken. Area was quiet but a little out of the way a bit of a walk to eateries and places to visit. They had a free shuttle which took us back to railway station, this we only found out after we checked in and were going through hotel and asked about. Breakfast was a bit ordinary, same as all Taiwan hotels very local style food and toast and cereals for western tourists. Room and bathroom were good sizes. Even though we were on side looking out over house roofs. Make sure when booking room has a window or you will be on inside.

多年前就來過這裡，這次帶小孩與長輩一起，入住體驗一樣滿意。飯店位置極佳，高鐵接駁車H31可到建興中學站再走路過來，很方便。由飯店步行可至孔廟園區與其它多個景點。早餐菜色豐富且有變化，B1有免費洗衣、烘衣設備。

來過台南多次，這間仍是我的首選。

毎年年明けに5日程度、常宿の様に利用してました。てます。
立地が良く、価格も高くは無く、スタッフも日本語も出来て良かったのですが、今回はスタッフもかなり変わったように感じ、ホスピタリティーは数段落ちてました。
レストランは宿泊者が美味しく朝食を楽しむお世話をすると言う意識が全く感じられず、ただ作業をしてました。
客層もかなり悪くなってる様に感じました。
フロントもスタッフのレベルのばらつきが目立ち、気配りも感じられませんでした。
ハード面は大きな変化は感じませんでしたが、タオル等はかなりボロボロになっており経営面が厳しいのかと感じた次第です。

・お部屋に水のペットボトルはありません。小さなものでもいいから置いてほしかったです。

朝食バイキング:品数かなり多く、とても美味しく2泊共楽しめた。自分でパックに入れるハーブティーも素敵。テーブルの空いた皿をスタッフが片付ける時、常にガチャガチャととても大きな音を立てるのは不快だった。
部屋: ウェルカムフルーツが美味しかった。ベッド •室温も私にはちょうど良い硬さ。冷 •温 •熱を選べる給水器が共有エリアにありとても重宝。シャワーの湯量は豊富だが温度調節がちょっと難しい。ツイン部屋の広さは十分。
周辺:目の前に林百貨店があることは最高。ただ、他は飲食店やショップが徒歩圏内にあまりない気がする。
交通:バス停が目の前なのは便利。ただ最大の夜市までは時間がかかるので、タクシーにした。流しのタクシーがあまり走っていない。ホテルに依頼したタクシーには混雑していないのに少し遠回りをされ、帰りに現地で捕まえたタクシーより高かったのは疑問が残る。

こちらのホテルは初めての利用でした。
部屋に関しては、常に清潔さが保たれており、スタッフの方々にも好感が持てました。宿泊がクリスマスであった事から、プレゼントも頂き嬉しい驚きとなりました。
