Very spacious, clean and comfortable room with a great view. Just a short walk to restaurants, pier, shops and pedestrian area. We were worried about street noise at night but the thick glass door kept it quiet inside. The room was a little warm at night with the balcony door closed but there was no screen door and we had issues with mosquitoes when we tried to keep the door open. Parking was free and convenient right outside the hotel door. There were lots of good restaurants, a nice walk on the water and lots of gelato. We were only there for one night and wished we could have stayed longer.

The property is in a small closed compound where you can find anything you need around welleness: gym. hairdresser, SPA and even doctors. There is a private medical practice just next door.
The location is at walking distance from the town city center.
The restaurant is very nice and at a fair price. Be sure to book a table close to the window.
SPA is small but nice.
Parking is super comfortable.

Ideal break away. Flight from Liverpool to Bergamo with Ryanair then caught the public BS1 to Lovere. Short walk to the hotel. Reception made me fell very welcome and can speak very good English. Delighted by the fact they uprated my room to which was very spacious.Had the use of bicycles free of charge and cycled around the lake.Plenty of restaurants to try and found the price reasonable good three night stay.

Great stay!

Fantastic service and stay! My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday at the end of our Italy trip with the aim of relaxing and some luxury - that is exactly what we got! Our room was upgraded free of charge and we were given a lovely bottle of sparkling wine for our celebrations.
We used the wellness access and had a massage at the hotel which was very clean and well organised.
Very good location and facilities were very excellent.

All in all, a perfect stay!

The hidden beauty of Lovere in Lake Iseo

We arrived by bus direct from Bergamo airport (3 x daily - odd times)(1hr 10 mins) and got off at the last stop in Lovere with short walk back to the hotel. Side entrance. Reception small area - very pleasant/informative staff. Room very clean and spacious with lake view. Bustling and bright little town alongside the lake. Good bus service to Bergamot itself. Breakfast reasonable. Pool and spa area controlled by appointment - very enjoyable. Lovely restaurants. Nice boat trip across the lake where a train is available to Iseo at the other end of the lake. Hotel is well placed with easy access and walking immediately along the lakefront. As it was off season - no tours available unfortunately. I think it best if you can hire a car as there would be plenty to see. Perfect stay for a few days. Lovely view across the lake on early morning. Easier accessible transport to the airport from this side of the lake. More difficult from Iseo. Taxis DO NOT operate in Iseo. I did not see any in Lovere but I do not know for sure if any exist or not. Unfortunately we did not get to see places of interest outside of the immediate area due to lack of transport, but enjoyed our stay in this lovely unspoilt lakeside town. A little bit to the left of the hotel are beautiful views of the snow-capped mountains. But be careful - there is no footpath in places and you suddenly become face to face with oncoming traffic.

The hotel has a great position right at the side of the lake. It is however on quite a busy main road so there is a bit of traffic noise and it also restricts the ease of access a little.

The derelict building on the other side of the road blocked 40% of our \"lake view\". When we asked to change rooms (we had a \"superior\" room on the 1st floor) we were shown room 101 which had a better view of the lake but were told that it would be very noisy from the bar next door and we were advised not to take it. But then the balcony was unusable as the traffic noise and fumes were so oppressive that we had to keep the window closed and keep off the balcony which was only 2 metres from the busy road. The food in the Pinocchio restaurant was OK though my sea bass was rather dry. The staff were running round and working hard to cope with all the customers. The AC was noisy and as a consequence couldn't be left on at night. The decoration was peeling off the wall and the hot water was tepid at best. We checked out early the following morning aborting the rest of our stay. We went down the road to the Relais I Due Roccoli at the other end of Lake Iseo which was fabulous

Great views from a splendid hotel.

We upgraded our room from the original booked by Expedia. It was massively cheaper to upgrade at the hotel than the price quoted by Expedia! Large , very comfotable room with balcony providing incredible lake views.

Decent hotel - but more 3* than 4*

Bookd this hotel as a base to enjoy Lake Iseo - the hotel itself was pretty dated but was in a decent location. The staff were quite helpful when trying to organise things and there were free bikes to hire. The rooms were big but again dated - the one positive I will add is that the rooms contained free Sky TV with sports and movies which was a nice to have. The town is not the biggest and you will need a car to get around if you want to get to the nearest beach or visit Iseo town - on that note there was plenty of parking available! Breakfast was included but quite poor in my opinion - cold scrambled eggs, stale bread and some ham & cheese. The best thing was the view of the lake!

Great value hotel by lakeside in mountains

Wonderful stay in a beautiful Italian mountain and lake location popular with the locals and relatively undeveloped compared to the famous bigger lakes like Como and Garda. The town of Lovere where the hotel is situated has a great outdoor pool complex by lakeside within walking distance (5 Euros/day for kids, 7 for adults) + great dining out, ice cream parlours and old town historical sites and shopping. Easy to drive to in under an hour from Milan-Bergamo airport. Good breakfast with excellent coffee made to order all included in room price. Free bike use on deposit. Free underground parking under hotel and excellent road access to local sights including amazing nearby Pyramids Di Zone valley and many other things to do and see, e.g. 30 mins drive to Sulzano then 5 min ferry to the beautiful and traffic free Isla d'Iseo mountain island. Ryanair fly to/from Bergamo from Stansted at nice pm flight times. Highly recommended.

Hotel staff welcoming. Located close to popular restaurants on trip advisor. A short walk into Lovere to catch the boat to other islands on the lake and also Monte Isola. We got engaged on the lake itself and fully recommend upgrading to a balcony view of the lake.

The morning cleaning staff were very noisy in the corridors early in the morning which woke me up. The restaurant was just a bit unwelcoming and prices quite high - unsure if it was trying to be formal or cater for children with the name and mixed decor (Pinocchio). Reception staff were excellent when we checked in and very helpful.

The Hotel with the extra mile

I was a little bit worried when I made my booking due to one or two reviews I read, but I realised I had not made a mistake the moment I walked in and received a welcoming drink at reception, while my reservation was attended too. This laid down my experience for rest of my stay. My room was modern fully functional and cleaned everyday, a bowl of fruit and complimentary drinks in the room fridge were provided. The restaurant provided a buffet breakfast selection to suit all tastes including eggs bacon and sausage enjoyed with a wonderful view of the lake. The hotel is at the edge of the town but you only have to cross a road to enjoy a lovely walk along the lakeside, past restaurants and bars and shops. I intend to visit Lovere next year and will not hesitate to rebook at the hotel were all the staff won't hesitate to go the extra mile for the clientele

Dont be fooled by the exterior of this hotel its one of the best hotels me and my family have stayed in.We booked a room with no view or balcony in the description but on arrival found we had a room with a lake view which was stuuning.We had a free bottle of plonk with compliments free wi- fi and free soft drinks from the minibar.The room was huge and spottless with toiletries topped up everyday.(take note uk hotels).The restaurant upstairs was the best in the resort for price and quality and again beautiful views of the lake.Pizza 6 to 8 euro ,wine 2-50 euro.The staff were really helpful and there was a nice bar again with decent prices and free buffet at times .There was also a happy hour between 9 and 10pm with 30% off.Free bike hire was good for riding around the resort.There is a small indoor pool which charges 10 euro pp for 2 hours but well worth it in the heat.Its a ten minute walk to the centre with a few bars and restaurants and a little further to the lido and marina.Would stay here again no problem.If your renting a car at Bergamo airport use Firefly as they have a full to full fuel policy dont get ripped off by the other firms who charge a full tank of petrol .Book this hotel in Lovere you will love it.

Hotel Lovere - comfort in heaven

Contrary to other reviews, the hotel was easy to find situated at the Northern end of Lovere right beside Lake Iseo. Most staff spoke very good English and were very friendly.

The hotel room prices vary considerably but you get what you pay for. Nothing could beat waking up to the view of the lake from our room with balcony. The downside is the hotel is on the main road through the town and traffic can be constant until the early hours.

Breakfast was superb, we ate outside on the roof terrace with views of the lake and mountains. The restaurant staff were so helpful. We were half board and the evening meal was from a set menu with 3 choices from each of the 3 courses. Vegetarians may wish to advise the restaurant beforehand. An alternative to half board for pizza lovers would be to eat in the hotel restaurant at night ordering from the special offer board. The most popular was the all you can eat pizza for just 4 euros per person. The hotel restaurant and bar are also open to the general public so there is a great atmosphere in the evenings.

On a Saturday from very early morning there is a large market on the public car park opposite the hotel. A great chance to try local meats, fish, fruit and cheeses. Do be careful of beggars, Lovere had suprising more than we were expecting.

The downside of the hotel was finding out that some facilities were at an additional cost. Whilst the fitness room was included, the hotel pool was a massive ten euros each per session. A much cheaper alternative is to walk to the southside of the town and there is a huge swimming complex with indoor and outdoor pools with slides. Bike hire is free, a great way to get about but be careful on the roads - they are lunatics in Lovere.

Bars and cafes nearby are quite expensive but a few hundred metres north of the hotel the local cafe bars are much cheaper. Ferries on the lake are a good way of getting about and there is a train station at Pisogne, the town on the other side of the lake. There is a small supermarket 200m from the hotel, a much cheaper alternative to the hotel mini-bar.

The Lovere Hotel was everything we expected and more. A massive room, great staff and views to die for.

Our family had two rooms, 1 looking over Lake Iseo and an inside court room. The vies from our balcony of Lake Iseo were very nice but an old relic of a building obstructed some of the view in front of us. The all inclusive breakfast buffet was delicious. We all enjoyed the spa, very relaxing after a long day of driving. We ate dinner along the lake boardwalk at a pizza restaurant. Parking was on site below the hotel. Staff very friendly.
On the negative side our room was so big it would have been nice if the could have more furniture ie couch, lounge chair.

Äldre hotell i utkanten av stadskärnan, men med kort promenad till centrum. Precis bredvid finns en trevlig bar som ser lite sunkig ut utifrån men var väldigt bra. Smidig parkering utanför hotellet, men de har även ett garage. Stort rum, trevligt med balkong med utsikt över sjön.

A very very unprofessional dirty hotel. First the receptionist think that she is the guest and we work for her! She was very rude and bearly speaking to us. We were sitting in the lobby and she couldn’t come to tell us the rooms are ready. We booked that hotel because we were in road trip from Milan to Venezia and because it has a spa!!! The website that not say that we need to reserve for the spa and when we receive the confirmation they asked that to reserve! We called to reserve a place but it was fully booked! And when we arrived the receptionist said that she will not refund us the stay and we will not have a place in the spa. Rooms are so simple and very old style for 4star. Restaurant staffs are unprofessional and the food so disgusting. And had nothing to eat at breakfast time, the buffet was empty and the waitress said that we have to wait because she has a big list of order. The room service wakes me up at 8am and she literally walk in our room to clean the room so rude!!! The people there has No manners no welcoming or good morning or even goodbye. I would’nt recommend this hotel to anyone and they are a better one in Lovere.

Tutto sommato mi aspettavo qualcosa di meglio in relazione al costo, invece la camera era piuttosto piccola e povera di arredamento (una sola sedia per 2 persone e neanche un appoggio per il trolley, TV mal funzionante).
Apprezzata la possibilità di uso gratuito delle bici.
Molto buona la colazione e il ristorante, ma avendo prenotato con un mese di anticipo avrei preferito che ci venisse proposto un tavolo all'esterno, invece siamo stati costretti ad accettarne uno all'interno.

Hotel a 4 stelle ma per il mio soggiorno è di 2 stelle, aria condizionata funzionante malissimo, televisore complicato e vecchietto. Asciugamani 1 per 2.
Non c'è un bar interno ne una sala in comune, solo due poltrone nella reception .
L'unica cosa positiva è il ristorante che oltre a una ottima carta dispone di personale gentile e qualificata.

Ottima accoglienza, camera molto ampia, buona la pulizia e l'igiene (in tempi di Covid non è un dettaglio trascurabile).
Un po' lento il servizio al ristorante, forse per il grande affollamento. Ottima la qualità dei piatti per la cena, un po' meno per la colazione (le brioche sembravano non freschissime).

Insgesamt war das Hotel absolut o.k. Nicht ganz redlich finde ich, dass sie mit dem Bild des Pools/Wellnessbereichs werben, dieser aber auch für Hotelgäste 15€/Person für 2 Stunden kostet, was ich völlig überzogen finde. Frühstück war o.k., sauber war es auch.

Hotel ottimo, con ristorante, palestra e spa, personale disponibile, si trova proprio sul lungolago, é presente un parcheggio sotterraneo e esterno, si possono noleggiare bici, kayak o barche, la colazione é ottima. Se non avete accappatoio ecc.. per la spa loro vi forniscono accappatoio, asciugamano e ciabatte. L' unica cosa che non mi é piaciuta é il condizionatore, che si attiva in automatico quando lasciate la stanza e quindi bisogna spegnerlo manualmente ogni volta, anche se cambiate la temperatura lui si reimposta da solo a 19 gradi, mi ha fatto ammalare subito alla prima sera. Per il resto tutto perfetto.

wir wurden sehr freundlich mit einem Willkommensgetränk und einem süßen Snack begrüßt . Es wurde auch sofort die einzig deutsch sprechende Rezeptionistin geholt um uns entsprechend einzuweisen. Wir wurden vom Zimmer her upgegreatet und bekamen ein Zimmer mit Balkon. Obwohl wir aus versehen unser Zimmer am Abreisetag zu spät geräumt haben, blieb das Personal freundlich. Die Garagen und Parkplätze waren kostenlos, es gibt aber dennoch etwas zu wenig Parkmöglichkeiten am Hotel.

Bon rapport,qualité,prix. -10% offert au client de l’hotel pour aller manger au restaurant Pinocchio. Très bon restaurant, très bon petit déjeuner.

Ottima accoglienza, personale gentile e preparato. Camera molto spaziosa e arredata con gusto. Colazione più che abbondante. Luogo davvero molto bello in riva al lago. Ampio parcheggio e numerosi servizi che però non ho utilizzato per mancanza di tempo. Unico piccolo neo il TV un po' piccolo per la stanza ma molto ben funzionante con tutti i canali Sky.
