The property location is fantastic, and the bed was very comfortable. As others have mentioned, the hotel is in dire need of an update. The shower was scummy and the fixture was loose so the shower head kept falling. Also the door to the shower wouldn't close properly, so showering without making a huge mess on the floor took some practice.. the wallpaper was Peking and there was mold on the walls. The staff was friendly, in my limited experience with them.

The hotel delivered on expectation. Montrichard is a sleepy village.............larger than most in the area with enough restaurants to satisfy a weekend stay.

I was looking forward to my stay here. Found it over priced by 25 euros. Breakfast 12.5 euros, 3.5 euros more than any other hotel I have stopped at this week and not that special. Behind the hotel there is a lock-up and it had a Compressor working all night. My room was at the Back! No air-con in the building and it was very hot. No effort was made to welcome and show what facilities were available. Maybe the coach party had exhausted the staff.

Easy parking, simple adequate hotel
I stayed in this hotel on my own between visiting castles in the area. The room was reasonably-sized and comfortable. Only minor problem with it was part of the hair dryer detached itself. The hallways were a bit smelly, but the room was fine. There was ample free parking behind the hotel. The town of Montrichard was lovely.

Location is excellent, easily found. Restaurant is excellent, was open Monday (unlike most others in France). Rooms comfortable, though a bit small, and bed was comfortable. Our room opened over the river, with wonderful view. We visited in the summer, and left window open overnight. The breakfast in the morning was underwhelming, but still very good.
We were pleased with staff, helpfulness, and ability to speak English when we stumbled (badly) with French.

Hotel was very good,probably the best in Montrichard. Excellent position by the river and close to amenities in the town.Breakfasts were fine but personally some muesli would have been appreciated as i am used to having it in most hotels.The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent. Easy to get in and out of town to do some sightseeing. Plenty of decent parking close by.

Beautiful location across the street from the village. The only negative would be the smell in the dinning room and yet another unpleasant smell in the hallways. We did not eat in the dinning room for that reason though the menu seemed rather highend.

Peut être que cet hôtel a connu a une époque son heure de gloire , avec des chambres au goût résolument moderne pour l'époque, mais en en 2025, lors de notre séjour, nous avons constaté une chambre défraîchie, avec ses traces d'humidité au plafond, au moquette passée , une décoration d'un autre âge. Pour 90 euros la chambre, nous pouvions espérer mieux

Arrivés tardivement (22h),nous étions attendus avant la fermeture de l'hôtel, ce qui explique le fait que la chambre n'ait pas été nettoyée pendant notre séjour (précaution covid)...et que nous n'ayons pas été informés du processus de nettoyage.

Hotel vétuste et moquette dans les chambres, (je n'aime pas ça, source de microbes ou autres) sur du parquet hors d'âge donc bruyant et insonorisation médiocre. On entendait les voisins du dessus dans tous leurs déplacements et leurs ronflements. Sinon personnel agréable mais ça se gâte au restaurant, le plat pas top servi avec un peu de choux fleur et de brocoli et quelques autres légumes cuit à la vapeur sans autre sauce que celui minime de la viande.

jamais vu un hôtel aussi sale,toile d'araignée dans la chambre,la salle de bain,pretexte du covid pas de lit ,de ménage de fait pendant 1 semaine,trop facile,les abords extérieurs sont dégueulasses (je pèse mes mots!!!...)petits déjeuners minables,pour 10 euros,pas de céréale,fromage,charcuterie,oeuf,juste yaourts,salade de fruits,conclusion ne vaut surement pas 3étoiles,à peine 1

Le choix de ce séjour dans cet établissement était conditionné par la proximité du château de chenonceaux ainsi que du parc zoo de Beauval que j'avais décidé de visiter ; le plus de cet établissement situé au bord du cher est la possibilité de faire une promenade sur le cher, un embarcadère étant situé tout près de l'hôtel.

Nous avons pu trouver une place de stationnement rapidement. Le personnel à l’accueil était sympathique. La vue de la chambre était jolie. La présence d un mini frigo nous agréablement surpris

Les matelas était très dur et les oreillers passer rembourrés. Pour compléter le tout le deuxième jour nous avons eu une serviette pour se sécher avec des taches jaunes. À la fin de ce séjour la personne à l’accueil nous a compté deux fois la taxe de séjour...

Hôtel très confortable mais bémol d'une part sur la connexion wifi plutôt instable et d'autre part sur le service restauration qui limite l'accès de 19h30 à 20h30... un peu court comme créneau horaire... Si par malheur, on arrive au restaurant à 20h31, on se voit refuser l'accès... Par contre, quand on arrive de bonne heure, par manque de personnel (ce dont le client ne devrait pas être impacté), le service est exagérément long... (+ d'une demi heure d'attente avant même que l'on vienne prendre ma commande)

Hotel vétuste, 1 échantillon de gel douche et de shampooing par personne, clim HS, propreté très relative, le plafond du restaurant risque de vous tomber sur la tête. Pour cacher la vétusté de l' hôtel ils inscrivent que l' établissement est en travaux mais c' est une excuse comme une autre.
Au restaurant pas mieux : des ris de veaux pas épluchés, pommes de terre crues, des fromages très douteux.....par contre les prix des plats sont salés et ils se permettent de rajouter des suppléments !!!! Heureusement que nous n' avons pas vu les cuisines !
L' apothéose vient avec le patron qui ose se présenter avec des vêtements d' une saleté indescriptible.....Pour autant les deux employées que nous avons vu nous on reçu comme elles le pouvaient avec ce que leur patron leur donne. A FUIR DE TOUTE URGENCE
