Quiet location but near to restaurants and Port Olona marina, which is nice for a wander. Good buffet breakfast selection. We had a marina/port view room with a balcony, i would recommend this, as the non-marina view rooms look over the car park and dual carriageway + roundabout at the back of the hotel. Internal bathroom needed refurbishment and smelt of damp after a shower. It was fine as a base for 3 nights, friendly staff.

Great one night stay!

Lovely warm welcome as we stayed here as a one night stop over between ferry port and south of France. Excellent service and advice given in terms of local info re restaurants transport location etc. Rooms are clean and standard and priced reasonably for a coastal town on summer. Parking plentiful and easy. All staff great with the children. Many thanks for looking after us

A familiar hotel

We have used this hotel for the last 15 years. It's very well located for our business dealings in Les Sables. It's clean and calm. Recently it seems to have benefitted from a revamp of it's communal areas - reception and dining room. If they could fit a few more lights in the bedrooms it would be an improvement.

Well situated hotel, cinema over the road too

The Bridget Jones film was premiered the night we were staying. Cinema just over the road. Some bars and restaurants facing on to the harbour close by. A long walk to the beach on one side.

Good value hotel for a short stay

Stayed here as a stopover on a long journey South. The hotel is decent for the price. Very clean. Very helpful staff. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was fairly good if not deluxe. It is not close to the beach or town centre but there are plenty of decent restaurants very close to the hotel by the marina. This is not the kind of place you'd want to spend more than a couple of nights but is perfect for a short stop over.

Pleasant trip

We were only staying a night for a friends wedding and the hotel suited us perfectly as it was clean and functional.
There was free wifi but it didn't actually work when connected unfortunately. The decor is a little run down and could do with a revamp.
Location is really close to the harbour so our room had a nice balcony with views of the boats.

I will not stay there again if I can avoid it. There was nothing wrong with the hotel per se, but nothing wiorth mentioning either. The decor is dated and needs serious upgrade to international standards, but the place is clean and the rooms of a generous size. It is far from almost everything. Breakfast was ok but nothing to rave about. Hotel staff was very pleasant and welcoming, however.

Nice hotel in good location

Stayed here for a one night break during our two week stay inland at a campsite. Gave us just what we needed in comfort and facilities. Staff pleasant and hotel clean. 10 mins walk to water taxi Euro 1.10 each person over to main restaurants and bars.

We stayed 2 nights 11-13th September 2013. We had a room with harbour view which was lovely as it had a balcony where you could sit out and enjoy the view with a drink! It has to be said it was in the quieter port of Olona but a short stroll to the ferry, running every few minutes, took you over to the other port where there were lots of restaurants. We ate at the Fleurs de Thyme (recommended by a previous review) both nights and had excellent food at an excellent price. The staff at the hotel were lovely and very helpful and whilst the hotel could do with an update it was perfectly clean and welcoming. We would stay there again.

Good find in a popular resort

Location seemed a little strange at first but it really is quite close to Les Sables town centre by a very good water boat transfer which is regular and costs just 1 euro each way.
Rooms are quite large and have reasonable sized balconies but no views. Also air conditioning in the rooms was a great benefit in the hot weather. Staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Breakfast was disappointing - budget hotel quality really - but plenty of it in a reasonable dining room. We stayed just three nights and the hotel was a great find, good value and ideal for us on a travelling holiday.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location.

We stayed for two nights in les Sable as part of a tour of the area. Hotel was basic but clean, decor a little old. It was ideally situated for the many cafes, bars and seafront, in what is a very quaint town. We had amazing weather and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Car parking was free and the reception staff, were very helpful. Not a typical Brit destination which made the trip more appealing. But it really is a beautiful location. We drove it in 7 hours from Calais although the tools were pricey!

Review of Admiral Hotel

The staff were friendly and welcoming. We did not have breakfast as it was 10 euros each which was steep. However, on reading the rules in the room it states that you are not allowed to eat. There is a mini bar in the form of a small fridge with cans of drink to purchase but these are very expensive. Unfortunately, we were near the lift which you could hear at night when all was quiet. Overall, it was OK, it has free parking. If you want to pay more you can have rooms overlooking the harbour.

A nice hotel in a great location for sailing events which is why we were there. It is however, a good 20 minute walk into Les Sable.
The staff were great, very helpful and spoke English. The room was a little dated but acceptable.

Admiral's Hotel - worth considering

This hotel is very affordable and set back from the seafront so parking is sensible as well. Being in the marina area it meant taking the water bus to the beach, which is a great novelty.

Très bon hôtel dans l’ensemble. La chambre était spacieuse avec wc séparé. Petit frigo avec deux bouteilles d’eau offertes.
Le bémol pour moi c’est la baignoire et le système de douche sans rideau, on met de l’eau partout, on est pas l’aise, bref on s’attarde pas dans la douche. Une douche est pour moi toujours mieux dans les hôtels.

Le petit déjeuner était correct mais j’ai connu mieux dans la même gamme d’hôtel.

Étape sur la route de La Rochelle. Le choix de l’hôtel Admiral’s avait été bien pensé. Nous n’avons pas regretté! Situé sur le port Olona, il nous a offert l’originalité du quartier de la Chaume. Belle promenade le long du chenal, dîner dans un des nombreux restaurants. Nuit calme , pas de problème de parking. Bel hôtel moderne accueil chaleureux excellent petit-déjeuner. Très bon suivi de la réservation, les responsables et le personnel sont aux petits soins, très accueillants, gentils et souriants même avec le masque....
L'hôtel est tres propre ainsi que la literie qui est confortable ce qui est important.
Seul petit bémol très secondaire et ce n'est même pas leur faute, le gel douche ne sent pas très bon, mais de toute façon j'avais le mien. Le petit déjeuner est amplement suffisant. Je recommanderai cet établissement.
