Great space, excellent reception, beds very comfort table. In my opinion the breakfast is worth the cost as there are ample options and delicious coffee. They closed the pool half hour early and it was a pain having to track the staff down to reopen it for our young child that wanted to swim after a full day of walking.

Room was good but a little bit dated and it came with a mini fridge but no kettle for drinks.If you want coffee or tea you had to pay for room service. The staff were nice.The breakfast was good 👍. The double bed was two single bed pushed together.The bathroom was clean. After a shower water leaked and there was no extractor fan.Soap could be improved. The swimming pool was a bit chilly in October but it was still good . Lots of restaurants and public transport and a great beach nearby
Overall I recommend the hotel for a short visit .

The hotel does not look like the photos.
The carpet throughout the hotel was very dirty.
The rooms were ok, however very dusty.
In the bathroom we found lots of hair which we had to clean up.
If you put the air con on there was a constant bad smell.
The breakfast was cold, so we only had this on one day and went out for the others.
The food in the “restaurant” was also not very nice at all. So we ate out every night.
The pool are is nice and clean. However there’s no bar outside as advertised.
There is a 10 minute walk to the beach, there is around 5/6 restaurants in the area which looked ok. We got a taxi to Palma Nova for an evening out and found great entertainment there.
Do not believe this hotel is a 4 star, would not recommend.

The only positive thing was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Without them, that place would crumble into the ground. I've never seen such a filthy hotel, let alone a 4 star hotel and my \"luxury\" room, which i sent a video of to my son, he said it was a \"Crack shack\". I think that explains it all. I'm still in total shock, not 1 plant in the lobby, room, picture on the wall, the apartments next to and the view from my terrace were the ghetto of the area for sure.

This hotel looks better in photos than in reality. It is located up a long street with nothing around it. It's at least at 15-minute walk to nearby beach & restaurants. The rooms are small & basic. Breakfast was good. Pool is large but pool area is very plain with no bar service. There is parking available which is convenient. Staff is nice. Overall, an ok stay.

Really loved our stay here. We paid a little extra to have the rooftop with the balcony and sea view.
It was nice to have that space for the morning coffee or sunbathe up there.
The room was really clean and quiet.
The pool was massive, with plenty of sunbeds and parasols.

The most noticeable thing about this hotel was how lovely, friendly and yet professional the staff were especially on the reception desk and in the bar and restaurant. This made the stay extra nice. It felt extremely comfortable and as if they were genuinely interested in us. The food was very good and at excellent prices, always fresh and well presented. We really appreciated the air conditioning throughout the building and the freshness in our room and communal areas. The pool was extremely clean and well kept. Travelling from here to most places was easy and the daily shuttle to various places very useful. We would happily go back for another stay.

The stay was very good! The atmosphere in the hotel is fantastic and I can’t say enough good things about the incredible staff. Everyone is very friendly, ready to help, and meet your needs, making the stay feel special. Breakfast is fresh, tasty, and offers variety of options, including some local specialties and international favorites. Again, great crew there to make sure you get everything you need.
The hotel itself could use some renovation, rooms are well maintained but you can see they serve the guests for years already. We were in two rooms and in both cases, bathroom needs refreshment.
Overall very nice stay, location is good too.

We had a wonderful stay at the Joan Mero hotel. Everything was very clean and beautiful. The hotel staff were exceptional in their thoughtfulness and courtesy…(Mira especially!) We had a wonderful room with a large, beautiful terrace, looking out over the ocean… It was so lovely and really made our hotel time here, one of the highlights of our trip to Mallorca. If we have the opportunity to come back and stay here, we most definitely will!

The room was basic but spacious and clean. I had a balcony facing the pool which was nice. The breakfast buffet was very good - lots of choices. The staff at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Most of the staff spoke English and, if they didn't, I used my translator app to speak with them. I would stay here again.

Really happy with the hotel

Breakfast and reception was a highlight. We could enjoy a free visit to the Pilar y Joan Miró museum because of our stay in this hotel and the visit is wonderful. Appliances are good and the pool too. Location also is excellent, with a short walk to Cala Mayor, one of the best calas we've been, close to restaurants and bus stops to the city center. Would definitely stay again in this hotel.

My only criticism is the surrounding area which wasn’t very pretty but very convenient for Palms and Portopi. A few good local restaurants within walking distance. I would stay here again

This is an excellent hotel for anyone visiting Palma, but particularly for those who like the art work of Joan Miro. His paintings are reflected in various ways throughout the hotel but also nearby are 1) the Miro Foundation, where you can see not only multiple artworks by Miro, but also his studios, which are fascinating; and 2) the Marivant Palace Gardens, where there are 12 Miro sculptures well situated at different points around the beautiful, peaceful gardens.
The hotel has good facilities, including a large swimming pool with sun loungers, overlooked by an inddor and outdoor bar area.
Our room, with a Miro painting reproduced on one wall, are relatively compact, but well furnished and comfortable. The bathroom had an excellent shower.
The hotel is outside the city centre, but there are good bus services into the centre.
All the staff were excellent - friendly and helpful.
Thoroughly recommended hotel!

Beach stay outside Palma

We stayed for just 4 nights to explore the coast and beaches. The hotel was perfectly located for public transport. All staff were helpful and kind. Our bedroom was compact but nice and bathroom shower was great. We were upgraded on arrival as our allocated room - with balcony- overlooked a concrete grey wall. We’d have been disappointed to have stayed in that room and would have checked out after two nights.

My friend and I booked this hotel and resort ‘blindly’, for the reason that we were only staying for 3 nights and didn’t want a long airport transfer. Well, what a find this hotel was! Our room was lovely, all the areas in the hotel were so clean and comfortable but the stand out for us was the fabulous staff; they were extremely friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay a great one. A special shoutout to Marco, who makes the best Mojitos and Samuel who conjured up the tastiest omelette with the happiest of smiles!

I am very pleased with the hotel, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, had a variety of fruits, cheese, cold meats, eggs, bread, cakes and treats,
but best of all was the happy chef at the omelette station. The hotel was clean, surprisingly quiet at night and very easy access for transport. Bus station is near by, and, the bus with route 4 takes you to the center of Palma in 15 -20 minutes. The Cala Major Beach is pleasant and near the hotel. I didn’t use the pool or the gym as had a short trip but looked very nice. I will definitely will recommend it and will try to stay there again.

The hotel was good. It wasn’t amazing but it was okay. The pool area was brilliant very large and plenty of space for everyone. The rooms were clean and spacious however I booked a double room and was given a twin room which wasn’t brilliant. Due to covid certain features of the hotel were not in order such as the gym and the shuttle bus. It was a great location to Palma and Cala Major beach. 7/10.

Everything about this hotel was great from the service to the décor. It has a great big pool area to relax and good clean facilities. There is also a gym which I didn't use.

The restaurant there is very nice, with a good selection of well made drinks.

My only gripe was that the minibar and air-conditioning could have worked better, but I was never uncomfortable there.

It is conveniently located near a nice beach, restaurants, local attractions and good connections to other parts of Mallorca.

Wonderful property. If you are elderly or disabled you will need to take a cab or Uber to get there as the road is a steep walk. But it is worth the view. Room is basic but comfortable with a nice balcony. Staff is extremely helpful in English.

Just stayed here for one night but a long way out and not much round it that was open, when we wanted to eat. Horrible block of flats dominating the view over the pool. We were given a lovely room with a terrace bigger than the room on the 5th floor. On my next visit to Palma I would definitely pay a bit more to be central

Wow, what a magical find. Awesome friendly staff.

We booked a 5 night break at short notice and had a great time. The hotel was in a great location for us with lovely Cala Mayor beach just 10 minutes walk away and the hotel has a lovely pool that was never overcrowded if we didn't fancy a walk. Palma was a 10 minute taxi ride with great shops, bars and restaurants as you would expect. Whilst we didn't visit for museums etc, it's clear that if we had wanted a bit more culture in our break, there was more than we could have fitted in, including free admission to the Joan Miro foundation just around the corner from the hotel. We hadn't heard of Joan Miro before stumbling across this hotel but his works of art displayed around the hotel are bright and contemporary and we will definitely visit the foundation when we book again, which we will definitely do. This holiday was all about lazing in the sun for us having had a busy 2 weeks in Orlando earlier in the year and Hotel Joan Miro certainly delivered what we needed and much more.
For us, the absolute stand out though has to be the staff. Every one of them was amazing and always smiling and willing to help. To see that level of engagement from all of the team, without exception, shows that the work culture is great there too. Our 10 year old daughter would normally be looking for other company of her own age but on this trip, as she was looked after so well by all the staff, she loved being the grown up girl enjoying time with her parents. We can't wait to visit again!

The location was brilliant, pool was fantastic and overall stay was delightful. Great shuttle service too!

We have just got back from our short break in Mallorca. We stayed at this hotel at a bargain price, so I wasn't expecting much, but their receptionists were all excellent. We were upgraded to a room with a view at no extra cost. The room we were given was smelling of new paint, and the bathtub looked like newly installed, so she gave us another room. Unfortunately, this room's toilet didn't stop flushing, and we had to move again on the second night, but it was dealt with professionally. The third room was ok, but once again the bathroom needed some updating. (The bath tub's tap area particularly needs re-tiling?). Also, the wall must be thin, and our next door was playing loud music till mid-night meant that my daughter could not sleep well. We spent our last day afternoon hanging around by the swimming pool having a nap as a result. Perhaps this hotel needs proper updating, but overall I am pleased with what I paid for and thank you very much for the great group of receptionists to make our stay special. The breakfast was also great, and I highly recommend it. You will get some discount when you book as you check in. (10 euro per person instead of 12 euro) and they have a lovely bottle of bubbly for you to make tasty Mimosa to kick off your holiday!

We are taking off home so happy. Staff at hotel is amazing. I dont remember did I ever had so friendly staff at hotel. What ever ya need, they will help ya. Definitely we coming back. Cheers
