This is a lovely property in a quiet secluded area. Perfect when you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of central Cordoba at the end of the day. The rooms are luxe with modern fixtures and fittings. The shower was so powerful, a contrast to other hotels in Spain. The Princess room/breakfast area was clean and inviting. If only I’d booked more days here and it wasn’t raining, I would have really enjoyed the views from my balcony.

I stayed here one night for a relaxing stay. It is a little out of town, so a car would be ideal. I spent money on getting taxi to and from the hotel (the hotel staff would order one for me). There didn't seem to be any rideshare/Uber's available for me. The pool was lovely and very good for families as there was a playground and space for kids to run around and play football. I would recommend if your looing for a resort style stay.

Hotel Finca Los Abetos has been our favorite by far since we have been in Spain!
Abundant easy parking. Very nice room with a terrace and view of the countryside. Every meal, lunch, dinner, and breakfast were all very good.
Less than 10 minute drive to the parking right outside old city wall. Beautiful swimming pools and swimming area. Everything was easy and convenient. Staff were all very helpful.

The hotel looks beautiful but the customer service was terrible. Upon checking in with a hotel staff member Paco who was not incredibly friendly we were told about our single nite stay and that we should enjoy our breakfast at 7am in the morning. In all my travels when I’m told to enjoy the breakfast and not told about any cost upfront I assume it is included as is the case wherever else I have been. The next morning I proceeded to have breakfast with my wife which was just coffee and a pastry. When checking out we were told we would have to pay for two breakfasts which were around 7-9 Euros each. After complaining to the lady at the reception desk and having to face her rudeness she went ahead and called her “partner” who said we have to pay for one breakfast at least. She kept saying “ We should have known.” I travel a lot for work and vacation and have never had such a negative checkin and checkout experience.

Large rooms although I was on the side with a view of the building opposite. The pool was beautifully situated and quiet until about 6 pm. Staff were very courteous and the shuttle into Cordoba was extremely useful. The breakfast is limited in choice and the menu for vegetarians was also limited but the patio seating area for the restaurant was lovely and made eating at the hotel a good experience.

Overall it was ok but we had to change rooms as the external blinds rattled in the breeze, making sleep very difficult. We suspect this is a problem throughout the hotel where rooms have these blinds.
The hotel’s facilities were quite good, especially the two pools. Shuttle bus to Córdoba worked well.

A country hotel in nice surroundings.
Hotel is a 10 minute drive to the city/Old Town. There is a shuttle at 9.55am to the city and one coming back at 7 pm. The food at the hotel is good and not overly expensive. The hotel room is simply furnished with just double bed, not kingsized. There is no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. At weekends the hotel can host parties for functions, so can be a little noisy at times.

We got bed bugs!!! The hotel did address our concern and watched our clothes, but are refusing to refund our night.
Based on how severe the infestation was, I highly doubt we were the first ones to have this experience.

A really lovely spot with pleasant surroundings and pretty patio. Ideal for families given the playground and pool. The food was good but too many of the mains were accompanied only by french fries. Mashed our boiled potatoes would have been better with the delicious sauces.

This hotel is on the outskirts of Cordoba but is very nice. The room is spacious and has all the amenities. It was nice to use the pools after sightseeing in the city.

Great hotel bigger than I expected. Food and bar service really good. Although there was a free bus service we took a taxi to the center for €14. Pools we good with plenty of sunbeds. A wedding and another large party were in full swing when we returned from the city centre but although the terrace was occupied and music was playing it didn’t spoil our enjoyment.
Plenty of choice for breakfast. Evening meals on the outdoor terrace was lovely. An indoor reception room with sofas might be a useful addition.

I loved being out in the countryside. We had a lovely hike right from the hotel. The room was cozy and comfortable. We had a room right in front so we could hear a wee bit of noise from the parking lot. The restaurant in the evening had all the lights up bright so it had a cafeteria like atmosphere but the food was fine. Had they dimmed the lights I think we may have felt like it was a good restaurant.

Nice hotel nestled on hillside overlooking Cordoba. Very noisy in the room as there are marbled floors everywhere and other guests were walking up and down until the late hours.

Unfortunately, I got food poisoning on the middle of our 3 days......possibly a big as my partner was ill before we got to Cordoba, so I do not thin k it was there that I got it. However, when he went to ask at reception as to whether they could help and help me doe imodium (we stupidly did not take any drugs with us) they just said 'no'. Thankfully, a kind Dutch guest overheard and gave him her spares. The following day I was a bit feverish and wanted paracetamol.....again no help at the desk at all. My partner was forced to get a 20 euro taxi down to the town and back, in order to find a pharmacy that was open and could help. So...make sure you have your own drugs with you, because the hotel staff were not helpful here at all. Maybe this is the policy there now....due to litigation maybe for giving drugs? If they can have a water and drinks dispenser, they could also have a basic medicines dispenser too?

A beautiful hotel in Cordoba
A really beautiful hotel, old buildings with new add ons. Stunning to look at, rooms had balconies with furniture overlooking tree covered hillside views. Modern shower rooms, air conditioning, good wifi, large comfortable beds, working fridge, excellent room service that wasn't expensive. Lunch was served by the pool, with large fans that sprayed cool water (35c) under protective awnings, dinner on the terrace which was included in the price. We will definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable. We had a little trouble finding it using iPhone mapping service, but once we did there was no problem. The food was also very good. We arrived late and ate at the bar and the breakfast buffet was well worth the price.

A very noisy hotel
We are not given to be negative but we were disappointed with the hotel. It was probably the noisiest we have stayed in, with no sound damping anywhere. So every voice in the corridor, closing of doors, next door's bathroom, carried. Management did not deal with loud guests at midnight even though the reception desk was only 20m away. The breakfast was good, but the stark atmosphere for the evening meal which was in the breakfast room lacked any ambience in terms of decor, furnishing, or table setting - it was not cheap either. This was the most expensive on our short tour around SW Spain.

This hotel is out of town, in a beautiful setting. There is ample parking - some of it with shade - and a lift if you have heavy luggage. The reception staff were good on the whole (one of the staff members was inclined to be grumpy, but fortunately not with us). The room and its amenities were terrific, with a comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. I suspect that some rooms could suffer from noise problems, due to the marble floors and echoes in the corridors but we were at the end of a corridor, so didn't have a problem. Breakfast was good and certainly represented value for money. Getting into town was easy - a short drive took you to a square with ample parking, from which you can get a bus. The bus was excellent and will take you into the city centre - definitely better than trying to drive and park. Given its tariff and presentation, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and use it again.

Not going back!!!!
On arrival our reservation could not be found, if we had not printed out all the paperwork I think we may have been unlucky. As it was we were found a room, although it was right next to reception and car park so not at all peaceful. We had no towels in the room so had to ask and the room was full of cobwebs. One of the beds was very hard so not a good nights sleep. The best thing we found at this establishment was the internet speed.

I stayed at the hotel for a couple of days as part of my southern Spain trip in June, 2015. I came in exhausted after a full day trip to Cordoba on a hot day. It was a bit difficult to find the hotel while driving a rental car for the first time Spain. Once I located it, it was amazing to find the hill top location, building architecture, greenery and clean air. It was a most welcome respite from the day's activities. The front desk personnel were very helpful in explaining various details and providing directions. They spoke good English. The room was clean, spacious, updated, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet (came with the room) was extensive. The outdoor dining area under tree shade and hilltop view was exciting. The Wi Fi connection was weak and iffy at time, though. Overall, a great experience!

All the hotels in town were booked, so we went here. About 10 Euros to ride out from the center. About 15 euros to go into town. Rooms are large and modern. Floors are granite, so being on a lower floor, it would be nice if the hotel spent $1 on some felt to pad the legs of chairs, so the screeching chairs in the night could be eliminated. Good buffet breakfast. Beautiful grounds, swimming pool etc. They're doing a lot of room renovations, but it was in another wing, so it was quiet.

The hotel is some 6 km outside of the city center but easily reachable by taxi. It is a beautiful building with a nice bar and terrace area. The staff were polite and friendly and the room was rather spacious. That is the good part.
The room (#125) was at the end of a corridor with marble/stone floor and all the noises (doors opened or closed, words said, steps taken) were clearly audible. We also heard every time another traveler in the hotel went to the toilet or took a shower. Two nights there with no sleep left us (an established hetero couple in our mid 40's) very tired and confrontational, resulted in quarrels and almost ended our relation. Beware.

GREAT place to stay
This hotel is a few miles from the city center and you would need a car or use a taxi to get to town. But it is definitely worth the short drive. The hotel sits on the side of a hill overlooking the city and has 2 large beautiful terraces, 2 swimming pools, a soccer field and walking/running trails up the side of the mountain. The staff at the registration desk was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Felt like I was in the Shining
This place is about as far as you can get from Cordoba and still technically be in Cordoba. I had a car, I don't think you can stay here without one as no public transportation goes out this far. It was difficult to find, the road up there is not well lit at night.
The room itself was dated. Everything just felt old. There was a weird painting in my room of a fat family. Even the dog was fat. The whole property was just poorly lit and it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. Like I mentioned above, it felt like I was in \"The Shining\" movie. I was glad to get out of there in the morning.

Although the Hotel had suffered externally from a very harsh winter and just needed a little TLC we had a very enjoyable stay, especially as our two dogs could stay with us. Beautiful setting, extremely friendly staff and made us feel very welcome. The food, albeit simple, was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. My husband exercised the dogs around the extensive grounds and found it very refreshing. We will definitely go back again. Our thanks to the Hotel staff who also spoke english.

Lovely hotel, excellent service, would benefit from a facelift after economy turns. Nevertheless, spotlessly clean, charming service in a secluded but not isolated location on the edge of the city. Approx 10 euros for a taxi into town which is better than having to find a car park in the narrow streets of Cordoba.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by lush hills. The room was spacious and the bathroom was large compared to many other hotels. Breakfast was very good with excellent coffee. Staff was very welcoming and friendly.

We enjoyed being out of the city centre. The hotel has car parking and you can visit the centre by driving for about a mile and you then have a choice of 2 bus routes. The breakfasts could be better but this is a good value hotel.

The hotel appears a bit old but has a very nice location, on a hill few miles from Cordoba. The air conditioner did not work. The beds were very squeaky. The toilet did not flush, which was quickly repaired by the staff who otherwise was quite accomodating. The food in their restaurant was good and cheap. The gave everybody a free bottle of wine. Parking was free.
I would say that for the price was OK but one could probably find a better deal. The owners should pursue some upgrades.

A long way from the centre and bus stop a mile's walk away; although parking in the centre was fairly easy.
The room was ok but I expected better. The bed in particular was not comfortable. One had the impression that twenty years ago it was probably a good hotel but it really needs updating.
The breakfast was very poor. Toast and cake was on offer. Ham, cheese and yoghurts seemed to be available, but well hidden and only offered to Spaniards.

Abetos del Maestre-Escuela - great!
Hotel staff were extremely friendly and accomodating: 1. we needed a baby crib and one was provided right away when we arrived, 2. meals were served always with a smile. The hotel building and landscape is lovely and relaxing - a nice getaway from the city center...and only a 10 minute car drive away. The room was spacious and comfortable - the only suggestion I have would be to replace the carpet...otherwise, very clean and modern. I would definitely stay there again.

Good place for vacation
About 10 min drive from Cordoba downtown, this hotel is positioned in a beautiful place in the hills. The only bad thing about this hotel was difficulty to locate it. We rented a car and our GPS couldn't find this hotel because it has no building number. As a result we had to hire a taxi and follow it to the hotel.

This hotel was AWESOME! I loved the way it was nestled in the nature on top of a hill, yet only 5km from the Mezquita and all else \"busy life stuff\". It was nice to go into the city and come back to such a peaceful surrounding where you can hear the leaves rustling, bird chirping, and soooo much area to safely & comfortably walk around on. Loved the layout and quaintness of the hotel. Since Spain is known for it's crazy street layouts, this hotel was pretty easy to find (once you've done advance checking on googlemaps or have a map/gps.) Best of all, I called when we got a little \"off track\" and \"Maria\" who spoke great English advised us EXACTLY where to go. She even CALLED BACK shortly and stayed with us on our cell to fully guide us into her driveway. What great service! I already have recommended this hotel to another couple I saw in Valencia who were thinking of going down to Cordoba. I will definitely go back again....for longer time....just to soak up that peace! P.s. if you have a soccer ball, TAKE IT! They have a full soccer field you can enjoy. Our boys (6-1/2 and 8 years old) LOVED it also! While they were playing, I could hear their echos (clearly) in my room :) What great joy!

Good hotel, but in need of redecoration. Generally, it is clean, terrace is beautiful, but there is no internet access in the rooms despite being advertised. Position of the hotel is great if you have a car - it takes only 10 min to get to the city. When we were in hotel it was very quiet, but beware of mosquitoes - close windows.

The hotel is a historic set of buildings, well converted. Most people going to Cordoba may choose to stay in the city itself, but this is a great option to combine a relaxing holiday with easy access to the city. The two lovely swimming pools are open in the summer and the location is to die for! Sitting down for dinner on the terrace is amazing - the food is good but could be improved with a bit more choice.. It's well worth the 10 Euros taxi ride to get into the city if you don't have your own transport. - taxis arrive within minutes of a phone call from reception and take ten minutes into town.

This hotel is on a former farm. The setting is lovely - on a hill in a suburb of Cordoba. So if you don't have a car or want to use a taxi, it's not the best location for exploring the city. But the hotel was wonderful and clean. The staff were very attentive and spoke fairly good English. Restaurant was good and for our rate, a nice breakfast buffet was included.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good but choices were not plentiful. The room had to be heated with heaters as it was a cool room but then again, this is only March and we did not suffer in any way. I would like to stay in the hotel in the summer to evaluate it properly as we wanted a semi-rural location in the country and this one was superb. The Internet did not work in the room we occupied but it did work next door. There were no International TV channels. The facility itself was in need of overall renewal but it was very clean.
