Though it's lovely, quiet and the staff are extremely nice and welcoming, I suffered from the bad A/C; they claimed it's regulated out of their control. Another drawback, you cannot smoke in the outdoor areas of the restaurants

Hotel is a part of a big complex Parco San Marco. It has few restaurants, several swimming pools, spa, beach and so on. It also has a coin laundry. Highly recoment as a base to explore the area of lakes Como and Lugano.

Outstanding STAFF and hotel facilities

The hotel is outstanding but i would like to highlight the Staff they were amazing especially : Desiree Pace from the front desk and Bianca from Kids play .
Desiree were super nice providing all information about our stay and further more.
Bianca took care of my daughter and my daughter loved her .
I forgot one of my bags in the hotel , they manage to send back for me and iam super happy the way they manage to send my bag . I strongly recommend the hotel specially for family trip , its a perfect place for parents and kids enjoy there time , together or doing the hotel activities .
The view from the room is wonderful , good food etc .

So the view from the hotel is nice, but the bathroom was not super clean when we arrived. There was hair on the bathroom walls which was kind of gross.
The staff were some nice, some so and so and some were rude. The nice ones were helpful when we wanted to book the restaurant at the hotel, the so and so brought us the coffee at the breakfast so late that we finished our breakfast by then and the rude ones I asked them after I left to check if my reading glasses were left in my room and they kept telling me that they will keep me informed about it and still waiting for their news. They just told me at the phone they cannot help me while it is quite simple to ask their cleaning staff if a pair of glasses was left in the room. Per total the experience turned into an unpleasant one because of the latter interaction, but there were a few nice people who should not be blamed for it. Also another unpleasant thing is that they say the relaxing pool is open until 9pm but at 7pm they start to clean it so obviously you cannot swim outdoors after 7. We were given the option to swim inside which was thoughtful but why advertise something untrue?

The facilities were wonderful! Be warned that the parking garage is tight to get in and out of the spaces but everything else was magical. The resort is very thoughtfully put together, with different pools, great food (and coffee!) and services. All in all a wonderful place to stay with great views of the lake.

Loved every second. Luxury!!!

This resort is AMAZING!!!! Wow, wow, wow!!! The property is stunning with many gorgeous facilities and the rooms and views of the lake are spectacular. From the second we arrived, we felt welcomed by the beautiful staff and breakfast was simply amazing! Even though it poured rain the whole stay - we thoroughly enjoyed every minute! So much to do and see. It is a little away from anything outside the resort though, but there is so much to do at the resort - it doesn't really matter. Nothing was a problem and we loved every minute of our stay! Oh and the newly renovated room and Versace style bathroom - AWESOME!!!

Beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds.

We have just returned from a week at this hotel and cannot honestly fault it! Warm friendly staff who make you feel that nothing is too much trouble. The location is perfect, with your own little private beach which allows you to swim in the waters of Lake Lugano. The breakfast buffet is probably the best we have ever experienced and we have been all over the world! Recommendations: hire a boat, go paddle boarding on the lake and definitely visit the Buddhist temple at the top of the complex for the most breathtaking view of Porlezza and the lake. Already looking to book for next year! I really could go on but feel you can only truly experience this little piece of heaven by visiting yourself. Thank you to all the lovely staff who made our stay so special!

Beautiful property with wonderful staff!

Hotel premises were beautiful and well-maintained. Rooms were clean but dated with pink tiles and awkward showers in the bathroom.

Staff were very kind, helpful and accommodating. In particular, Mario on the waitstaff, Ines and Jasmin at the front desk, all the staff at the boat rental dock, and all of the teen program staff were amazing. Thanks for making our stay so special.

Great base for the lake como area!

We had a suite with lake views which was nice and spacious although nothing overly luxurious; was clean and had everything you could need except most kitchenware - there is an extra charge, although they did give us the odd item free of charge after asking at reception. Also had a safe in the room, fluffy dressing gowns, slippers, outdoor towels. The resort has loads of facilities, most of which we didn't have time to experience (including archery, yoga, massage classes and a private beach and sun terrace). Breakfast buffet was fantastic. We didn't eat in the restaurant for dinner although this looked nice, but was a set price for 3 courses. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a lovely bar too. Indoor heated swimming pool and sauna/steam room facilities were also lovely. There is what looks like a great kids club, as well as 2 other outdoor pools (too cold to use in November) so it would be nice to return in the summer! Great location - out of the main thrust of the Lake Como towns so nice and laid back but an easy 15-20 min drive across for day trips (a hire car is a must!). We had a great stay - would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return if we were in the area again.

Four-star hotel rating plus very good reviews led us think, that the hotel would be very good. Unfortunately, i) the whole hotel complex was really complex and difficult to get around, ii) the junior suit we booked was large but was rather old. The noise from the room was enormous, hardly any insulation. Very good breakfast buffet. But considering the room, we would not recommend the hotel, despite alright price / performance

what a gem of a hotel this is ! Its quite hard to find ( it actually on a holiday complex ) but when you get there wow ! Apart from the hard bed, the rooms are lush, staff are 1st class and cannot do enough for you. Also had one of the best meals there that I had in Italy. 100% 1st class !

Loverly resort - highly recommended

We spent 2 days at Parco San Marco - officially the \"Dependence\" part, but it is all one development. It was a lovely stay for both parents and kids. The facilities were great with lots of activities available. The setting is beautiful with great views of the lake and mountains. Lugano is no more than 15 mins away with a range of other activities. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made the stay very enjoyable.
Just watch out for rush-hour traffic from Lugano to Porlezza around 5-6pm on weekdays.

The location of the hotel is perfect as it sits close to The lake and has stunning views. It is very family friendly and given the time of year we could not take advantage of all the facilities. We had an issue with the type of room we booked because of a variance in what the Hotels.com website outline compared to what was given. A solution was eventually resolved after a few discussions with the friendly staff at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel however if you are not going during summer months you probably would not get the use of all facilities.

Enjoy our stay. Staff is very accommodating and nothing is never too much. Friendly staff, hotel is very clean and facilities cater for all types of families. The area is a much see and it is recommendable to have a car in order to get around the area. Best hotel I have ever stayed at in Europe and will definitely be back. Restaurants at hotel and nearby are affordable and offer very nice Italian food. Even activities at the hotel is very affordable. Would recommend any day :-)

Stunning views excellent hotel

Wonderful hotel, highly recommended. they think of everything to make your stay special from the welcoming arrival and check in to providing water for your onward journey. Please be aware of the position of this hotel - Expedia link was misleading it is not in Como, but Lugano about 1 1/2 hrs from Milan MXP airport. Completely worth the extra distance and the hotel organised a cab (160 euros). A car is recommended but we managed well enough with the local bus and the bus stop is right outside the hotel. The other confusion I had was two different hotels appearing on Expedia but they are actually one and the same. They cater for families and couples and have a separate dining area, separate pool and quiet areas for those without children which works well. I went with my teenage son 14 and my older son 20. They had a ball, particularly in the private area of the lake with a large inflatable provided! Many things offered free such as trial snorkelling and boat trips. The kids clubs looked great and there is also an exclusive teenage area. I was impressed with the layout and how peaceful the place felt even though it was full. I think the kids pool got pretty busy but we didn't spend any time there. We had treatments in the spa and used the indoor facilities when the weather was bad (torrential rain and thunderstorms for two days of our trip be aware!) breakfast was an absolute delight, you can even juice your own fruit and veg! Gluten free available.

This was our second visit to this hotel and the staff and facilities get better and better. The food is truly amazing, the rooms, views, and spa are brilliant but it is the manager and staff that make the stay so memorable. You want for nothing and every need is answered. A truly wonderful hotel.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice surprise!

While our room was somewhere between OK to good, this hotel won our hearts by one of the best spas we have ever seen and really nice restaurant. Great views of Lake Lugano on top of that.

The spa featured all imaginable saunas, a great swimming pool, musical relaxation room etc. It was a bit noisy in daytime when frequented by families with kids, but very romantic in the evening hours.

One of the nicest places we have stayed in Italy. Very close to the Swiss border and the town of Lugano. Facilities were excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. The grounds were manicured. The spa and the indoor pool were excellent. Outdoor pools were \"open\" but not heated so too cold to try them. The breakfast was more than the common fare found at the usual European hotels. In fact, the breakfast and the dining rooms were one of the highlights. Room was really a villa with large living area, separate bedroom, dining area and kitchen complete with all the pots, pans, plates and utensils needed to cook a large Italian meal (including strainers, serving bowls, cork screws and different size wine glasses. The town of Porlezza has four grocery stores in or around the area so we cooked most of our meals. We did not try the Resort's restaurant. And there were also many smaller and unique restaurants to explore along the coast highway. Fitness area overlooks Lake Lugano, as did the balcony of our room. This Resort is highly recommended, even for a small family as there are many separate supervised activities for children. One heads up: It is not really close to Malpensa. It took 3 hours plus to get there along SS340, which can be a one lane road, behind buses at times. The road follows Lake Como, then makes a sharp left thru some tunnels towards Lake Lugano, where the Resort is located. We left for Malpensa on a Sunday very early in the morning and made it there within 2 hours

Amazing hotel in a BEAUTIFUL location.

I stayed here as it was a graduation present for my partner and I can honestly say it has been one of the most beautiful places I have visited (and I've been to a few places). The location is breathtaking, the views are phenomenal and the area is peaceful. The hotel itself is stunning. The staff have so much knowledge of the area, are fantastic at their job and are more than happy to see to your needs. They were absolutely perfect. I highly recommend both of their on-site restaurant as the food is immaculate and tastes absolutely divine. If you have a chance, see Francesco (one of the restaurant managers there) and he will recommend La Vinga in Porlezza where we went to on our last night; words cannot describe how much I loved that place. After this trip, I have decided that this place will be our summer holiday get-a-way from now on (used to be Tunisia).

Hotel is in a great position on lake lugano. Family friendly hotel but also very relaxing for adults with a Spa and Adult only pool. Recommend taking advantage of the activities on offer: fitness classes, yoga, climbing and the kids club which my 2 year old really enjoyed.

We were very disappointed with our Family apartment. Nothing like the pictures. Very old and worn rooms.
Really a shame that all adults and children must go through the smoking area outside the reception and restaurant.
There is nothing Italian about the place – nor the food in the restaurant, or the pizzas from the pizzeria.
Staff, beds, spa, and breakfast were good.
Far too expensive compared to the low quality.

A really nice stay at PSM hotel, lot of sport activities and a super friendly staff. The pools were quite nice for a family trip. The family room where we stayed was spacious and clean, there was a slight problem with air conditioning, but that got fixed eventually.

Entsprechend war das Zimmer nicht bereit.
Dazu bekamen wir dann einen Raum für Behinderte. Das führte bei dieser hohen Toilette zu Problemen für meine Kinder.

Journey is like a marriage

This journey is the best one ever happend in my life. The biggest welcome and the best facilities and the best services.

Dont know the name of the staff but, the lady at the arrival day gave my boy the present and she brought our suitcase to the room.

For the breakfast, the staff were fantastic. Although we dropped the cup and the cup was brkoen, they friendly made us relaxed.

I will take my mother and father in law and my mom in July.
