Pros:
1- quiet
2- fairly clean

Cons:
1- not accessible at all. Lenno in general is not a great and accessible place to stay. I wish I picked Bellagio instead. It is a great place only if you drive your own car. The roads are narrow and there is only one bus C110 that can transfer you to other location. It was nightmare to go from here to the train station. The bus literally comes every 45 minutes but it always has delay always. There is a ferry option too that we used to go to different towns and there is ferry station very close to this place.
2- communication was not good. This place is a part of a bigger hotel but there was no receptionist in that location not even for check in/out. So you have to walk 10 minutes to go to their hotel and check in/out or if you have questions.
3- no free room service
4- in my opinion it is expensive for what you get
4- no good restaurants nearby

We stayed here as we had a wedding to attend . We had a room with a partial lake view and had a veranda with a table and chairs and parasol and access to the pool. The sister hotel offer a lovely breakfast at discounted rate of €15 PP and that is on the roof top area great choice available . Staff were lovely . A fab venue in a beautiful location .

Absolutely loved the area around this hotel. Lenno is very peaceful and pretty and quiet. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. The mattresses were a little hard for me but everything else was just fine and great for the price

The hotel staff specifically the owners were very rude and mean. There was two bugs in our room as soon as we walked in closet was broken and not close to much good except hotel restaurants where owner yelled at me for wanting to get pizza to go. I will never come back here !

Lovely Lenno!

We found Lenno to be peaceful and quiet! Walking up Via del Porto to our stay was unique and easy. We enjoyed our stay even on a rainy day! Loved the small spots for espresso and cornetto every morning. Walked up to Villa Balbianello with amazing views! Treated ourselves to gelato after, best place in Lenno! Took the ferry over to Bellagio for lunch the next day but preferred Lenno even more after that, too busy and too many people there. Lenno is the perfect place on Lake Como!

The property was not as described. The 'full kitchen' consisted of two rings, no oven or microwave, one tiny pan and one huge one, no sofa - just a single bed. Parking was pot luck and was often full. Instructions to access the property were not given and we found the hotel to register by pure luck. Not a good experience.

The property was lovely and so nice to stay so close to the lake but also be a 2 minute walk removed from the lake walk. The hotel staff were very helpful and let us check out the evening before so we did not need to rush the morning of our departure to return the keys.

The room itself was great and well equipped, it is upgrades and we received a free upgrade with a lake view including a balcony.
Our air conditioning did not work the greatest and it was warm getting ready and the Wi-Fi did not work great.
The staff was excellent though and accommodated us with our request for one more night and we did not need to switch rooms.
Would definitely recommend for a great value and location stay in Lenno

Lovely property right in the middle of picturesque Lenno, a great location to enjoy restaurants and swim in the lake. The ferry service is only a short walk from the apartments - services to Bellagio & Varenna are frequent.

The apartments are clean, comfortable & fully equipped with everything needed.

The pool and garden area is fantastic for a swim & glass of wine.

I would highly recommend this property for:
Families & couples looking for budget friendly properties on Lake Como.

The apartment we booked was clean, spacious and it had everything that we needed. :) The sofa bed coupd have been made more comfortable cos my friend complained about being on the uncomfortable side. Fortunately, they provided extra comforters. The staff were nice and accommodating. :)

We had a very nice time staying at residence lenno. The pool was nice though I wish there were more towels available. The rooms were spacious and clean. I also liked that I could exchange currency at the main hotel front desk. That was very convenient. Overall I thought it was a good value for the price and convenient location close to shops, the ferry, and restaurants.

We had a very pleasant stay at these apartments. The location is great with parking available on site. The apartments were very central in Lenno and within easy walking distance of the restaurants and bars.
We had a nice private balcony with access off it to the pool which was very handy for the kids.
The beds were comfortable and we had enough kitchenware provided to be able to cater for ourselves when needed.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The weather wasn’t great on our stay, but this apartment is perfect if you plan to stay for a few days when it’s nice and sunny. there’s a private pool which would’ve been nice to spend the day at, less than a half hour walk from villa del balbianello. comfortable beds, very clean, and kind staff.
only downside is when we arrived at the residence lenno, we had to walk roughly 10 minutes to the hotel which OWNS the apartments. check in is not at the residence lenno building, even though it looks like there’s a front desk at the place.

Would’ve appreciated the stay more if it wasn’t for the bad weather and mixed communication.

We had a great stay at Lenno residency. The pictures are accurate but the place is even better in person. There was enough available, free parking space right in front of the apartment. Easy to find and a few good restaurant options. Our favorite was the restaurant at the hotel. Make reservations ahead of time. The ferry is a short walk away. Also check times ahead of time a book your trip sonner rather than later.

Lovely apartment and beautiful location that wasn’t too touristy. We weren’t expecting to have a balcony so we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and saw we had a large one!

Main positives:
Very clean
Great location
Well sound-proofed rooms
Friendly staff

Main negatives:
The pool was quite cold and wasn’t heated, but guests do have use of the main hotel’s pool (we didn’t use this and so cannot comment)
The pool jet in the photos has been removed

The negatives are extremely minor points that did not detract from our stay and we will definitely be returning!

This property is a short walk from the main hotel. However, the walk is a steep hill. So for those traveling with a luggage, it is best to request a shuttle to help with the pick up/delivery of the luggage. You do have to cross the road, so be careful! There is a cross walk but not all cars will stop.

Otherwise, there is a small elevator to help with luggage, cleaning staff is very quick and kept the rooms tidy. Breakfast was at the hotel and there is a good variety of pastries, yogurt, cold meats and cheese and fruit and juices to choose from. Their restaurant was also quite good.

Very local and great outdoor area!

The property doesn’t look to good from the front of the residence, but first impressions are deceiving. We rented one of the ground floor apartments. With a small private patio looking out on the parking area. This didn’t bother us at all because the outdoor area found on the second floor was perfect!
You will find a small pool, plenty of seating and sun beds. A grass lawn with a few trees with a bit of shade. The residence is surrounded by some beautiful villas and gardens. It’s nice and quiet if you ignore the grasshoppers in the trees :)
Only 400meters to Lenno town square and about 100m to ferry dock. The ferry gives you easy access to the rest of the lake.
The only disappointment was the air condition that didn’t really work(but the apartment was still pretty cool) and we complained about a outdoor light flashing all night without any response from the manager.
Would absolutely recommend this residence! If you want to sit outside in the evening while the children sleep you better get a upstairs apartment though.

There were no check in instructions prior to arriving so walked to the apartment just to read a sign that sent us back to where we arrived from the boat. Extremely unhappy after traveling by train, then boat, in the heat and humidity of the day to walk half a mile uphill just to have to return to the original point. Breakfast was well varied and the room was comfortable and clean.

Everything was as expected except for the weather . We were there for a wedding and luckily the wedding day weather was fantastic. Either side of that it rained most of the time😡.Apart from that the only slight grump was that we had to check in was not at the residence Lenno but at Hotel Lenno which was a five minute walk away and where we also had breakfast. Room was clean,staff friendly, and would stay there again.

We were very happy with our stay at Residence Lenno - we were able to use the small pool at the facility and also at the Albergo Lenno, where you check in. Staff was very friendly, room was well-appointed and larger than expected (by European standards), and was easy to get to. I will say if you want a good lake view request to stay on the highest floor - we were on the second floor and could see a bit of the lake but had a great view of the parking lot :)

Rooms were aged and mouldy and mosquitoes around. Place was difficult to find the first time. The pool area in both the self contained apartments and hotel were aged and poorly maintained. The breakfast buffet was disappointing compared to other hotels. The location was very good and even the self contained apartments were close to the lake. But otherwise a bit of an average place

Part of the Albergo Lenno hotel and just up the road. These are self contained apartments which have a small swimming pool on the roof, ideal for a quick dip.
Apartments themselves were spacious enough for our family of 4 with a main room, bathroom and balcony. Effective air conditioning which was a must. Kitchen had a fridge, hob and enough utensils for our stay.
Staying here meant we could use the larger pool at the hotel too.
Staff at reception were very helpful and also provided lots of information prior to our stay.
Parking at the residence is a bit limited but we always found a space.
Location is great with a less than 5 minute walk to the lake, ferry terminal and restaurants. Supermarket is only 2 minutes by car or 10 minute walk.
Be aware of the €50 final cleaning fee applied to your bill when you depart.

Nice apartment, very clean and brand new. However, check in was a little complicated as we were not told the address of the check in location, I had to find it on their website. The showers were also a little cold for the second person that had showered straight after as the hot water had ran out. Apart from that it was a good location, very helpful and friendly staff, nice breakfast and amazing views!

Firstly thank you Italy for a beautiful experience, lenno is a small little town with very few restaurants. The appointment is only 2mins away from the stunning lakes, the appointment we're spacious and has everything you need for your stay, plus side it has a car park with us convenient. We didn't get any housekeeping which we do regret as we struggled reusing the towels, the floors were really dirty so we kept our flip flops on and we didn't use the pool as its tinny and needs redoing. Other than that We had a great stay, used the hotel pool.

We celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary at Lake Como with our 3 kids. The Residence Lenno apartments were perfect for our family of 5. It was clean, comfortable and both our apartments had an incredible ocean view! Luca at the Albergo Hotel (which owns the nearby apartments) was super helpful and very knowledgable. Our only complaint was that the wifi was spotty & the showers were a bit small. Otherwise, we would stay there again in a heartbeat!! Thanks for a most fantastic & memorable 20th anniversary!!

Ideally located in a quieter part of the Lake Como area, this apartment is in the nice village of Lenno. Room was spacious and comfortable. There's some great pubs / restaurants on the lake plus access to the ferries. Ferries are a must & save you from the crazy traffic. Check-in was a mission - signage for the hotel is poor coming from Como & you need to check in at another hotel - Albergo Lenno (on the lake front). Staff were friendly. Great kitchen but the rubbish was a challenge with no bins or advice on dumping general waste. Recycling was no issue. Beautiful spot - highly recommend lake view.

Fine choice linked to the Albergo Lenno, though some 250m walk away. Nice little apartment with fridge, stove, kitchenette, small table, sizable enough room. Great breakfast at the hotel. Lenno is a quiet village and lovely choice for your Como experience. Cheaper than Bellagio, and it is easy to visit over there via nearby Cadenabbia. Check in at Albergo Lenno with the extremely friendly and helpful staff who are fantastic.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating! We stayed here for five nights in the Residence Lenno with our family of four. It was nice to have an apartment while having the amenities of their hotel. It was so wonderful we decided to book an extra night instead of staying near the airport for our flight home. The staff was very helpful in facilitating our airport transfer and it was very convenient that the charge was added to our hotel bill because most cabs only accept cash. The location of this hotel couldn't be more perfect. We were right next to the ferry that went to various places to visit along Lake Como. There were many different restaurant choices within walking distance along with grocery stores, a bank, and can't forget the delicious gelaterias! From what I saw when touring other locations along the lakefront, Lenno was an excellent choice! While writing this review I am longing to return.

A really good self service apartment in a quaint little town on the lakes. Everything was really well organised and the staff we dealt with were superb. The room we had backed on the pool which was very handy.
The only two points that weren't perfect are that the rooms were not very well insulated from sound and the cooking area was just too small. But would stay here again if coming back. Lenno is a lovely place.

Residence was a gem

We stayed in the Residence in lenno which was so great. It is located on the main road through Lake Como/Lenno. It was quiet, spacious and had a pool. We found it very, very easy to find and the parking was super. We arrived at 7pm so we parked and walked down to their hotel (Albergo Lenno) this is the main hotel just a 2 minute walk on the lake. Upon arrival we checked in as you need to if you arrive after 7 and the staff showed us to our room. It was large, lovely and perfect for our trip. Amenities: Pool, large bathroom, walk in shower, hair dryer, lots of towels and a nice lobby filled with great info on the local attractions. It was more than we needed for our visit but super nice and affordable. We found out the the main hotel, Albergo Lenno has a lobby bar open all hours, nice seating our front where you can meet people and a restaurant which we ate at often. The best thing about the lobby is that they convert you US dollars into Euros at the standard rate so you do not have to go to the bank or loose money on exchange. This was huge for us! I strongly recommend this hotel to travelers passing through and looking for a place to relax, be alone or meet ethers as well as those who do not have a car and desire to walk and take the local ferry around the lake. This is a Central place to do so which is not touristy but filled with great flavor.

Knowledgable, friendly staff, great food, great location, amazing prices! We had a fantastic time in Lake Como, Lenno is much quieter than Bellagio and I would recommend this hotel to anybody. Right in front of the docks for easy access to ferry, lovely restaurants and bars close by. My only recommendation is to stick to the Lenno side of the Lake if driving up from Como. The Bellagio side is more than a little scary if you don't know the roads.

Comfortable, Accessible, Quiet & Affordable

Newly renovated, the Residence Lenno is a GREAT place to stay. Featured as \"apartments,\" they are a little smaller than I anticipated; however, as hotel rooms with a kitchen area, the room is larger than most found in many European hotels, and guests control their apartment's heat and air conditioning. The staff was friendly and helpful. The apartment is steps away from the Lenno waterfront promenade and several excellent bars and restaurants. I look forward to staying at Residence Lenno again soon.

I spent a week here with my wife daughter and mum place very clean and modern supermarkets local market and restaurants and bars to hand ferry terminal 5 mins walk gets you around the lake pool quite small but very quiet when we were there had a very enjoyable stay recommend any time

Very good location

Very nice location. Nice lake view. Pool. Beds in room were on the harder side. In general good, and a place we could return to. We loved taking a stroll along the promenade just 100m down from the room.

Hiljainen kylä, todella siistiä ja rauhallista ja upeat maisemat. Liikenne aikamoista suhaamista ja kapeat kadut, eli kävellen pitää olla todella varovainen :) Majoituspaikka kaikin puolin toimiva ja kiva uima-allas takapihalla. Tällä kertaa ainakin todella rauhallinen asunto. Päähotellin palvelu oikein mukavaa ja ystävällistä.

Bonnes installations (kitchenette, fil a linge, table à repasser, produits Yves rocher dans la douche, piscine mais attention non chauffée). Proximité du centre et de la villa Balbianello. Quelques places de parking disponibles devant la résidence mais très recherchées.

Appartement très bien situé.

Appartement spacieux et refait à neuf. Très bien à situé à deux minutes à pied des rives du lac et des restaurants et glaciers. Le nombre de places de parking est réduit mais suffisant lors de notre visite. Espace piscine très agréable.
L'absence de micro-onde est dommageable. Pour information, l'enregistrement et la récupération des clés s'effectue à l'albergo Lenno (à 3 minutes) où l'accueil fut polyglotte et très courtois.
Situation géographique exceptionnelle.

La résidence est idéalement située.
De notre studio, nous avions une petite vue sur le lac et les montagnes. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la terrasse et de la piscine à cause de la météo capricieuse de la semaine...
Seul reproche que je ferai, l'eau n'est pas assez chaude pour une douche bien réconfortante. Tout le reste est parfait!!!!

Très bonne expérience dans ce logement

Le logement était très agréable : lumineux, propre, avec une très belle terrasse comprenant deux chaises et une petite table, un grand parasol, une table et deux chaises pour manger à l’extérieur, avec une jolie vue sur le lac même si le logement ne se trouvait pas juste au bord du lac, mais derrière. Literie était très bonne et le linge de toilette de bonne qualité.
Nous avons été très bien accueillis pour l’enregistrement à l’hôtel Albergo Lenno et le personnel a répondu à toutes mes questions en français. Par contre il s’agit d’un appartement où on peut simplement en son petit déjeuner ou se faire réchauffer quelque chose de très rapide sur une plaque électrique, pas de four ni de micro-ondes. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour car les visites autour de Lenno sont nombreuses et nous partons pour la journée.

The area is worth the visit

The residence was amazing, clean just as it looks in the pictures,had a lovely pool and beautiful view of the lake. Nice quit area close walking distance to the ferry and local restaurants. 10 minutes to town centre. Check-in is at there hotel 2 hundred metres away(Albergo Lenno) the staff are super friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast is nice. We found parking really difficult there is only 6 free bay available in front of the accommodation which seem to people rushing in to win them all day. At night if your prone to getting eaten by mosquito then be prepared there seems to be heaps. We stayed in August and it was really hot still. Would stay again but probably use the ferry to get there from Como next time.

Nous avons adoré l’hébergement ! Surtout l’aide des personnes à la réception de l’auberge où la réception se trouve pour la résidence. En plus, nous pouvions communiquer en français avec eux. Nous sommes arrivés plus tôt que prévu et nous avons eu la chambre à midi au lieu de 15h ! Les seuls détails c’est que les photos de la piscine devraient être mises à jour sur le site car il n’y a plus de fontaine d’eau et l’abris blanc n’est plus là non plus et les chaises sont également différentes. Aussi, la taxe et de 3 euros par adultes par jour donc ça nous a coûter à notre départ 24 euros presque le double de ce qu’expédia nous disait que nous devions payer à l’hôtel ( 17$ canadien )
