Our room did not have a balcony or view, but it was large and clean and right next to the breakfast room. Very short walk to the nearby private green space with beautiful views of Lake Como. Very nice, helpful staff.

Too far from the city center
The hotel is nice, clean, quiet, and modern, but it took us 25 min walking uphill from the city center to reach it. Nothing to see around it. The shower cabin was leaking, so there was a lot of water on the floor. The breakfast was basic. We ordered omelet, and we had to pay for it when checking out - it was a surprise. I would look for another place next time.

Negative- it is situated off of a very steep incline. It’s .7 miles uphill from the ferry dock. You can take a bus and get dropped closer to the guest house, but there still is quite a walk from the bus stop. Also, there isn’t a place on the bus for luggage. Warning - there aren’t taxis or Ubers in Bellagio. There are only private car transfers that need to be pre-arranged. Most don’t want to deal with such a short transport.
If you have mobility issues or are getting on in years, I would not recommend this location. It would be better to stay closer to the ferry dock where the terrain is flatter.

Property was nice but alittle hard to find. Clean room, needs full length mirror they did not have 1. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was ok. Walking distance to center but alot of stairs!! Bring good shoes! All and all a pleasant stay.

Received a wonderful welcome when checking in. The bed was comfortable and the free breakfast was basic but very much appreciated. I especially enjoyed the view in the outdoor setting area while eating my breakfast and the communal fridge where you can store drinks and food. The location was ideal but the walk up the hill will test some less mobile people. Great value for money.

We had a lovely stay, just for a couple of nights. The apartment was just what we needed, a good size and the views from the garden were lovely. The hosts had breakfast set up outside each morning, so we could look at the view, which was great. The apartment is up a bit of a hill, but it isn’t too bad and the short cut into town is not very long, so a nice walk. Free parking on the street right outside. Felt very safe.

My only negative is the WIFi was not the greatest in my room so had to go downstairs if I wanted to download anything. My friend had no issues with the Wi-Fi in her room. We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. From the ferry, we suggest you use mainly roads, rather than paths up the mountain if you have luggage. The walking paths have uneven steps and are quite quaint when just going for a stroll.

The breakfast was delicious with its typical Italian breakfast of pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit juice, yogurt, and coffee or hot chocolate choices. You could order an egg, but what was out was plenty to eat and displayed nicely.
The bed was comfortable and the shower great. Even in winter we found this a very nice stay.

My husband and I only stayed for one night while visiting Lake Como in late October. This is low season so some businesses are already closed for the season. The property is about a 20 minute walk from the ferry stop, and it’s all uphill. However, once you get there they do give you a short cut, but it’s still quite a walk and mostly stairs. That said, the room was very clean, exactly what we needed. Probably the best shower we had while in Italy, as far as the water pressure and temperature, although it is very small. The breakfast included is very nice, typically Italian breakfast. They made us our cappuccinos to order and has some croissants and delicious pastries.

It was located near city center in Bellagio. We would walk through the fragrant jasmine scented walk to the main road and into town. We also had a wonderful breakfast which was included. Room was very clean and neat, breakfast was downstairs and was lovely and very good. I would stay there again!

This was a great place to stay for a couple nights. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet and safe, and sparkling clean. Our small room had a private deck with a gorgeous view over the countryside. We walked everywhere. The Melzi botanical gardens and historic lakeside villa, were our favorites - beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We also enjoyed the two ancient churches in town. Bellagio was crowded with people so we were glad the property is up the hill away from it all, but still within easy walking distance. And for the safe parking outside the front door! Thanks for a delightful stay!

My husband and I stayed for just 1 night. For what we needed for 1 night this location was perfect. The welcoming service was great, the room and bathroom are spacious enough, and the location is a 15-20 minute walk from the ferry terminal and where all the shops/restaurants are. Even if we had to stay multiple nights this would have been a good enough place.

This place is very special - super rooms, great host and best of all the breakfast terrace with a view to both the Lecco and Como legs of the lake.
Of course to get the view the place is a little out of town and up a hill. We were a 50/60 year old couple and completed the walk up from the boat in around 25 mins with big rucksacks on.

I Will Never Look for another Place in Bellagio
This is a wonderful hidden gem! If you want crowds; this is not your place. If you want a quiet, clean family atmosphere this is the place. Great rooms with modern and well stocked bathrooms. Very comfortable beds and a kettle and supplies to make coffee or tea at any time. Wonderful view from garden where we had a wonderful breakfast. Cannot give enough stars to most helpful Kaia and others working there.

The hotel was renovated in the past few years and it is cosy and contemporary in its decor. A cold breakfast with several choices was offered.walking to the the main town through the stone alleys was special. You need good shoes to walk around and this is definitely not the place to have a suitcase with wheels as the alleys are made out of round stones. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient. I would definitely return here.

The place was a little gem with an incredible view in the back overlooking Lake Como in all I ts glory. Gaia was an amazing host and helped us get a taxi to the pier and also was so kind to attend to my forgotten item. I wished we had more time there and I will definitely be back to enjoy some quiet peaceful time in bellagio again! Just remember that the way to the guest house is a bit tricky so traveling by car is highly recommended to fully enjoy the travels around this area.

Worth every dime of staying in Lake in Como
This family run hotel, atop the mountain, has lovely views of Lake Como from the private garden. What makes it special is how Gaia, the owner, take the effort to ensure that your stay is a great one.
It is affordable, comfortable, clean - perfect for travellers.
We stayed for 2 nights, and had great sleep.

The room was basic, but the court yard at Andrivieni Bellagio Guest House had amazing views. The view of the sun set was amazing. We really enjoyed our breakfast in the court yard with a majestic view of Lake Como. It was awesome sitting in the peaceful courtyard gazing at the stars as well. Getting to the hotel was a rough uphill walk, especially if you have luggage. The Inn Keeper was very nice.

The main reason why I would not recommend this property is that it is hard to reach: while the distance to the center or ferry terminal is < 2km, it is all stairs and hills (more than 200 stairs alone)...and there are NO restaurants or cafes near the property. Worse, it is practically impossible to get taxis or ubers to get rides between the town and the property. For both arriving and leaving the property we had to make countless calls to different taxi service before we found one that was willing to give us an (overpriced) ride; before we got to the property we did not know about the stairs but once we got there it was obvious that there is NO way we would have made it (without risking serious injury) with our suitcases if it wasn't for the taxi. While the front desk staff is really nice, they were of no help in getting taxis...simply admitting defeat in their attempts to secure a taxi.
On the plus side the terrace is lovely and I spent many hours sitting there reading a book because I was too lazy to actually brave the stairs to actually go down to Bellagio center :-)

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here. The owner and receptionist were so sweet and accommodating. The views from the garden were amazing. I would recommend staying here. One thing to mention is the lack of taxi drivers and it being a little difficulty to get to the property when you have a lot of luggages. If they offer arrangement for transportation from the ferry to the property take the offer because taxis are hard to come by in the morning.

Beautifully renovated B&B. The front desk leaves at 7pm so if you have any issues then there is no one to help. Our TV didn't pick up the English channels as promised when we checked in so that was very disappointing. Breakfast is promptly served and cleared away after the last room is served so you can't linger to enjoy coffee or conversation. Personell are very friendly and helpful when there, however, after 7pm everyone is gone. Views of the lake are seen only from the hotel garden patio located behind the hotel, pretty but limited. B&B located on top of a large hill about 10-15 minute walk to the town center. People with limited mobility would not be able to manage this walk.

Gaia was a wonderful host. The hotel was clean, breakfast delicious and the terrace view breathtaking. Parking was fine and we drove downtown. A five minute ride. You could walk it but it's not flat and I'm definitely not a walker.

Very nicely kept property, spotlessly clean room. The building is a little hard to find, the piazza that is located at is a tiny roundabout, make sure you closely follow google map directions which are accurate. Francesca who runs the guesthouse is great, and really made the experience very easy and pleasant. We arrived by ferry to Belaggio in the evening, with my wife with an injured foot, without realizing that securing some kind of taxi to get to the property was gonna be difficult in an off-season evening, we called the hotel, and after calling a couple of taxi services for us whitout success, Francesca drove down her personal car to pick my wife and our lugagge up. She also gets up early and prepares a tasty breakfast for you, even asking us what we preffered to have, and what times we preferred since we were one of two rooms in the hotel. If you dont bring a car, the property is an easy 20 min walk uphill through the cobbled streets, and shops of Bellagio. Make sure that you grab a schedule with the fast boat and ferry hours. Lovely town, and property.

If looking for fancy hotel with space and features - probably this is not your type. But for our needs it was great! The staff was kind and very helpful. If you are not with a car, you'll probably need a taxi, but we parked 50 meters from the hotel and walked 10 minutes to the center (with medium climb on the way back, but was ok for us). The breakfast was good and with fantastic view to the lake.

The hotel is in a recently renovated house. It is clean and cosy and has a nice patio. It is located up in the hill at about 15-20 minutes from the main port so is not for everybody.

We were greeted warmly and shown to our room, which is nicely decorated with great furnishings. We were given great advice regarding the area and a shortcut to town. The breakfast was excellent! Overall I would definitely stay here again! Clean, spacious with warm hospitality.

The center is about a 15 minute walk downhill, very easy to get to. Gaia and Francesca are great hosts who accommodated our requests for recommendations and travel tips. Lovely hotel a little off the beaten bath. Only a ten minute walk from the hustle and bustle of downtown Bellagio. We enjoyed grabbing groceries from a nearby market, and having a picnic on the grassy terrace overlooking the lake. Breakfast was delicious, and the rooms are very clean. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
The view from breakfast is amazing and the rooms were lovely.
It is set out from the centre a bit but it was a lovely walk and we even saw loads of fireflies on the walk back in the evenings which was an added bonus.

Perfect for our family of four - clean, modern, helpful staff, great breakfast buffet in the garden with view of the lake. Be warned, it is a bit of a walk if you are coming from the boat, may be worth a taxi ride - without luggage it is a pleasant walk into town. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Absolutely perfect spot for an affordable stay in Bellagio. Room and hotel is well kept, nice spread for breakfast and Bellagio is about a 5-10 minute walk downhill (bit longer coming back). Would definitely stay here again.
