We stayed at the TownePlace Suites in Bowling Green for a family trip. Overall the hotel was clean and convenient, but our room on the first floor had a few issues. The in-room phone wasn’t working, which made it difficult to reach the front desk, and we could clearly hear footsteps and noise from the floor above whenever people walked. The staff was polite, but these problems made the stay less comfortable than expected.

Great place to stay

We came in for grandsons ball tournament. Everything was neat and clean with all the basics. Sani, at the front desk was courteous and eagerly helped with any questions we had. The property looks updated with fixtures and flooring. There is some wear, like carpets, to be expected. Bed was comfy. They even had premium channels for evenings after ball for newer movies.They are eco friendly. Breakfast was pretty good with cereal choices, oatmeal with a toppings bar, breakfast sandwiches, eggs bacon and sausage, fruit, yogurt, milk and juices. Grandson loved the pool. We only wish it was a little warmer. Its very convenient with grocery and restaraunts 5 minutes down the road.

Perfect for one-week stay

The property is older but clean and spacious. Plenty of closet space. Drawer space galore. Squirrels outside our window were more intertwining than the television. Included breakfast was very adequate and varied somewhat from day to day.

We had a 2 bedroom unit. Large living area but seating doesn’t face the tiny tv, bedrooms small but ok, bathroom (only one) ridiculously small. Beds were comfortable. Heating system annoying. When we arrived, 43 degrees outside at 8pm, the units were set on cooling. Switched to heat, room got warm, but then once set temperature was reached the unit shut off its heating but the fan stayed on so it felt cold again, like a drafty old house.
Overall, not worth the high price.

The stay was mostly good. My only complaint is that the hallways were extremely hot, felt like 85 degrees plus with the heat blowing in summer. This made it more difficult to cool oir room down. AC was off in our room when we areived so it was nearly 80 degrees in our room and it was difficilt to cool off the seperate living area. It was 96 outside that day, so leaving the AC on would be helpful. The shower also had an issue with temperature regulation and wpuld be very cold or burning hot. Otherwise,the room was pretty nice. The pool was nice and breakfast as well.

Highly recommend for my fellow hotel snobs!

Turned out to be the best \"Plan B\" ever! Two air conditioning units in the 1 bedroom suite is GENIUS, the entire facility was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast has several hot/cold options, along with fresh fruit and multiple beverage selections. The breakfast hours were also accommodating for those who like to sleep in a little on Sunday morning. Water in the shower was hot, the way I like it and water pressure was perfect. Spacious rooms. Linens and pillows were great. Pull out sofa was good size for my college student. Easy check in/out. Did I mention how clean the place is? If I have one suggestion, it would be to have a bar of soap available in the bathroom to wash our hands. No one in my party used the amenities, so I can't comment on those. On the way out, I heard a dog barking loudly on the first floor, but since I didn't hear it during my stay, it didn't bother me. Will definitely put this in my \"Plan A\" rotation from now on.

We were a party of 3 adults so we got the two room suite. It fit our needs very well and had a small kitchen to keep our travel food cold. We found the rooms to be very comfortable and really liked the small sugar waffles offered for breakfast.

We needed a room to sleep 6 for a few nights and were pleasantly surprised by our room and stay, especially for the price. The AC in the building wasn't working when we arrived but thankfully the AC in our room was able to keep the room temp tolerable. The breaksfast was wonderful compared to other hotel breakfasts. The attendant was very attentive and the area was kept very clean. (There were many expired milks in the fridge but that was fixed quickly.) The pool area served our kids well and was clean. Hotel towel quality always leaves something to be desired, no different here. There were a few stains on the carpet in our room and the mattress on the fold out couch is in desperate replacing but was fine for our small kids. Our plans changed and we needed to check out a day early and the hotel was accommodating without any hassle.

I booked through hotels.com, then arrived at hotel to find that my reservation wasn't there. Apparently, hotels.com doesn't send their reservations with much speed. By the time the front desk found our reservation, all rooms were taken. The front desk went above and beyond trying to help us.

The room was very spacious! I was super surprised how spacious it was. The motel was very nice and well kept on the outside and the lobby. I do think they need to clean way better or inspect the rooms. We found a knife from the kitchen stuffed inside the pull out couch (could have easily stabbed one of my kids had we not found it) and there was also a dirty shirt in one of the bedroom closets. Was a tad disturbing. Breakfast was also very picked over they couldn’t keep up with everyone so if you want breakfast I hope your not super hungry.

I was promised a two bedroom with two doubles beds in one room and one double bed in the other bedroom. However, with rooms sold out we were put in a two bedroom with a double bed in each bedroom. The shower curtain was short and above the tub, therefore water would go all over the floor when showering with 2 adults and 4 children. Not happy !

Cleaning of rooms needs some improvement! We had an issue with this six months ago when we stayed at this location, and nothing has changed. The TPS we stay in at Hopkinsville, KY, does not have this issue. Disappointing, to say the least.

The property was beautiful, the hotel is very eye-pleasing. It is a welcoming place to stay. The things I did not like were, no extra bedding or pillows for pull out sofa. Also, under the bed skirts was just plain dirty. This area had wrappers, masks and food all under it.

We heard a regular mechanical sounding noise. It was at least 2x per minute and was constant all the time. The only time we did not hear it was when the air condition we was running. I would have requested a different room but it was late when we checked in. If I had stayed a second night I would request another room.

DO NOT STAY HERE - FRAUDULENT CHARGES!!!

I booked through hotels.com, paid in advance, and thought everything went fine. Then, I found out that I was charged twice for significantly more than I already paid for my stay. I spoke with an employee on the phone, and first she tried to blame hotels.com. She then gave me the runaround about why it happened, but that I should get a refund. I was supposed to get a call from the manager the next day, but that didn't happen. On top of that, I was charged a third time, so I've now been charged almost $600, when TownPlace Suites should have not charged me at all. The only answer I recieved from the manager was, \"I'll have to dig deeper and get back to you.\" I'm not holding my breath on that. I'm hoping that the corporate office can help get my money back.

The rooms had no carpet floors which made us feel better in COVID times. There were lots of places to stow away luggage and things. Sizable shower, ample lighting, easy to access outlets. The kitchenette was perfect size and met our needs. Everything was real on the breakfast spread: the eggs, toppings for the oatmeal, etc. First time staying at a TownPlace and certainly not our last!

Disappointed after years of using this Hotel.

The young lady who checked us in was very nice . We had two rooms. The first room was a king bed with a pull out bed. There were no extra sheets, pillows or blankets and for the pull out bed and the only toilet paper there was a partial roll that was on the holder. The lady at the front was nice and did get the items we needed. The shower in both rooms had not been cleaned. We had to go get shower cleaner and clean the floor of the shower. The dishes in the room were pretty much all dirty. There was food stuck to most of the utinsels and one coffee cup had coffee dried up in the bottom and sides . When we went down for breakfast the next morning the man refilling breakfast was not happy to be working at all . He also had no gloves on and was refilling the utensils touching both ends . Our family has been using this hotel for about 5 yrs every Thanksgiving. We rent 2 to 3 rooms. This is unfortunate but we do not plan to use this hotel next yr.

Disappointing Stay

The attention to detail needs to be improved. There were no extra rolls of toilet paper in the room, and very little left on tne roll, requiring a visit to the front desk within a few hours of check-in. The full length mirrors were dirty and had food covered fingerprints all over them. There were food remnants on the dining table and long black hair left in the bathtub. The appliances had fingerprints left on them as well. The pull out couch should not even be a sleeping option, as it is completely broken down and there was no bedding for it in the room, except for two mattress covers. Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room this time. Definitely not the norm for TownePlace, as we stay here exclusively when we visit KY.

I waited approx 10 min for the front desk attendant to arrive from where ever she was. Once she arrived, she was very friendly and helpful. Room was super nice, a small apartment really. Wondering why I have never stayed at a TownePlace before??!! Nothing bad at all. Will definitely be staying at TownePlace in my travels from now on as I can.

The stay was wonderful, room was comfortable and great sized, pool was nice and the majority of the staff was incredibly friendly. On our last morning during breakfast one of the staff was incredibly rude towards us because we were unaware that they had shut off one of the waffle makers, and our kids began using it. She scolded us for using it despite the fact that there was no 'out of order' sign. I don't appreciate being scolded for something we were not aware of, especially as a paying guest. She was aware she upset us and not once apologized, however she did finally put up an 'out of order' sign so I guess a point was made.

The property is in a good location and close to shops and restaurants. The room we stayed in was slightly dirty, the bed was hard with uncomfortable pillows, and the shower head in the bathroom couldn’t be adjusted so the water only sprayed out very hard. We were traveling with our 4 year old so she was unable to take a shower because of how hard the water sprayed out and the tub was stained/dirty so I didn’t feel comfortable in giving her a bath.

These suites are excellent. The living area is spacious and well appointed. As a business traveler who usually stays in your typical hotels, this was a wonderful step up. And, it was very reasonably priced.

They did not service the room at all during the stay, but I think with was due to all of this covid 19 business.
