Nice Hotel. It seems to be a newer one to the area, and is very clean. Rooms are like small apartments with a kitchenette.The location is great and there are so many restaurants within close walking distance. Tanger Outlets is also close but not really what I would consider walking distance since you have to cross a very busy road. Breakfast was standard and good, but the layout of the breakfast area creates a very busy and chaotic experience. Imagine 10 people in large closet trying to move around at once. We were there on a Saturday morning so it was probably busier than usual, but just getting into the breakfast area took us 10 minutes. Overall we had a great stay and we were comfortable. We would definitely return again.

Never EVER again

The room is was assigned to was horrible. It smelled bad, the carpet was dirty, the floor was sticky and dirty, the stove was falling apart, the vent under the microwave was dirty and hanging about to fall. I was offered 2 other rooms that were barely a step up. I had already paid in full to get the lower rate so I tried to make it work. I was there for 3 nights and i had to remote work 2 of those days (I am an accountant). The room I moved to was also horrible. The living room's (where I had to work for 8-10 hours 2 days in a row) air-conditioner was broken the entire stay. It was hot as hell. I reported it and maintenance NEVER SHOWED UP. I went to Walmart and spent $200 on cleaning supplies and it took me 7 hours to clean this 2-bedroom, 2-bath with living-room and dining space. The bottom of the every cabinet in the suite seemed chewed away by a rodent, so there were holes that lead to outside, I'm guessing. The doors and door handles were dirty with black oily fingerprints. The floors were smudged with dirt. The living-room furniture (chair/love-seat) were worn down and dirty. I mopped, swept, sprayed, disinfected, and brought in fans for the hot living-room I had to work in. I was too afraid to use the stove, oven, fridge or microwave. I paid $1100 for this stay and I would like a refund on some of this expense.

We had a family suite with the two bedrooms. These rooms were extremely small the beds were flimsy and the couch bed was dirty. I picked this hotel because Expedia showed it was a 9/10.it was more like a 6/10. The rooms need an upgrade the furniture needs to be cleaned. Would I stay here again probably not.

The main door didn’t close property. The floors were not even causing all doors including the bathroom to not close easily. The bed skirting is old and outdated and was falling in some places. The water when turned on in the bathroom let out a noise as if it hasn’t been ran in years, and the smell that came with it was horrible.

Super disappointed with this property. We have stayed here for years and it has gone down hill and fast. The bed is incredibly uncomfortable and the room doesn’t have the simple amenities a hotel generally does. The worst part was during breakfast. Normally the tv is on to watch and eliminate some guest noise but the tv is broken and the lady at reception said “it’s been broken for a long time”. So instead of watching the news or having a conversation with my family, we got to hear an employee on a speaker call sitting near us for 30 minutes while we tried to have our own conversation. She was sitting in the breakfast lobby with us which confused me. Also, around 7:30 the front desk worker decided to vacuum the lobby while everyone was sitting at breakfast. How rude.

My family really enjoyed our 7 night stay! The best part was how peaceful it was in this area and the options to eat nearby. We also enjoy the morning breakfast and the spacious room with the kitchen area for our family. As well as the double room with double full bath. Would recommend and would stay here again!

My husband and I brought our 2 grandsons along to go on a short weekend trip. The boys loved every minute of the trip at the hotel...they kept asking, could we please come back to this hotel. Everything was wonderful...we will return. Thank you for a fun weekend due to the accomodations.

This hotel is located in a convenient location within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. It was quiet and in a safe area. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The room had a small kitchenette with a large refrigerator and microwave. We did not try the breakfast. Check in was fast.

The property needs a bit of updating. It is a long-term stay facility and has a full kitchen. We saw a roach in the bathroom and a spider in the bed. The bathroom and floors were cleaned thoroughly. The staff was wonderful. Very professional and extremely nice. The area is safe and close to the outlet. The hotel needs to be brought up to Marriot's normal status.

I recommend finding another hotel

The internet rarely worked, so I had to work from my personal hotspot most of the time. Also the pool was only open from 9am-6pm, which are the hours I work. So if you have a kid and work, don't plan on bringing them swimming during the week. One of the elevators wasn't working for a week. Breakfast was the same every day, and they were constantly short on items (coffee, soap in the bathroom, toilet paper in the bathroom, etc).

The good: Very quiet. Spacious. Clean (not the most clean I have ever seen but clean)
Smart TVs so we could log into our own Netflix or Hulu account and bag of popcorn provided were a nice touch. Easy, free parking and great location.

The “meh”: Strong sewage-type odor started emanating from the bathroom after a good rain. Some Broken equipment. Bed was fine but could have been better. AC is super loud.
Only one luggage cart for the whole hotel.
We were invited to take our breakfast to our room for covid safety but no trays to carry anything;
Signs that say masks are mandatory but no one enforcing it, and even the personnel from the hotel is not wearing them -or wear them on their chin.
Breakfast was really poor (in quantity and in quality as well).

The place is great. We had the two bedroom suite and if had two true bedrooms each with a bath, a small kitchen and nice size living/sitting area. A+.

The ONLY negative is that this is a busy exit. Cabella’s on one side and the outlet mall on the other. Tons of places to eat and a dozen hotels- the traffic can be crazy. But; would I stay there again - yes.

In town working for a few days with my Installation Manager and my 11 year old son. Great for work and family. Pool was very nice. Walk to local restaurants and shopping. Directly across from the Tanger Outlet Mall.
Very convenient location to the jobsite we were on.

At check in they had trouble finding my reservation and I was given a handicap room which was disappointing as I'm a platinum member and I watched later that even they upgraded some one which did not have that status and they were surprised for the grade which was disappointing. As well as simple as your breakfast service is they were out of one brand of cereal I usually eat. in the room the shower handle was all but broken and hard to turn on and off.. over all a poor experience for other facilities of yours.

Water started leaking into the bathroom from the ceiling. We had to pack up everything including food we cooked and move to another room. The other room's toilet flush was very weak. It kept getting clogged up. I had to go get a plunger. There's only one mirror in the whole room and that's the bathroom. It's a room for a single person, not a couple.

A decent stay that could have been better

I have mixed feelings about my stay at towneplace marriot. The check in was awful. It shouldn't take an half an hour to get checked in. I just think it should be a nicer/pleasant environment to be a marriott. The room had broken furniture(dresser drawers) . My room didn't get cleaned as needed. Updates are needed badly for this hotel to compete with the new hotels in the area. -furnishings and new carpets/cleaning. Breakfast is good, could have more hot breakfast choices besides sausage and eggs. The older lady who operated breakfast in the morning was fabulous professional and friendly better than the younger lady who managed breakfast-not friendly and didn't conduct herself professionally. one morning they ran out of oatmeal and (the older lady)she had packets in the back and made some for us. She kept the food replenished.

We checked it a hour early. Our room was clean at first glance. After setting in we realized half our towel were wet and the baseboards and walls were filthy. We left and enjoyed our evening and night in the area. We return late that night in need of quality rest only to find a rock hard bed and flat pillows. The next morning we went to the breakfast area to find luke warm eggs, sausage and dry biscuits.

We were staying the night while visiting family. I was impressed by the ease of using the website to book my travel, first off. Secondly, the staff was extremely polite and nice upon checking in. The room was particularly clean and the AC worked very well and quietly. I also liked the 12 cup coffee maker but would like more coffee and creamer (either dry or wet).

Failure to receive fresh towels.

We stayed 8 nights. Three of those days we did not receive fresh towels. I had to ask for the towels, face cloths, hand towels and bath mat twice. One day I just made do with what we had. Other than the towel issue, we was extremely satisfied.

Worst hotel experience I have ever had! The rooms are dirty and they staff just doesn't care and maintenance is completely lacking. Take my word for it, stay at the Candle wood suites next door, I had to move over there because of how unhelpful and careless the staff was here.
